As the grown men fell to the ground, swiftly defeated by, and surrounding the teen, he would casually retreat to the nearby chair assembled of spare parts and scrap metal, glaring at the onlooker, “What? You wanna fight, too?”

He'll make a fine weapon. I'll make him mine.
The war devil's hiss rang in Asa's ears and within a blink of her eyes she had swapped places with Yoru, watching the devil use her body once more from outside of it.
You'll get us killed! He's too strong! Asa's plea went ignored.
Yoru stepped forward, her face calm and her shoulders relaxed as she approached the boy. He couldn't be much older than Asa. Yet he showed strength beyond any human Yoru had met thus far. Perhaps he would make a formidable weapon to use against the Chainsaw Devil.
"Your strength is impressive. Be my boyfriend," she demanded.
What?! You idiot, that won't work!!! Asa shouted, though only Yoru could hear her.

"Yo." A young man with a shaved head and stern eyes gazed upon the young lady in front of him. Hands in his pockets. "You're the girl from the church posters, right? Mind if we have a talk? It's important."
Unprompted Asks || Always Accepting!
Asa stopped in her tracks and glanced over her shoulder at the other. He looked about her age, maybe a little older. At first, she didn't know how to react, she hated how the Chainsaw Man Church had painted her as the poster woman of the group. They had plastered her image all over the city and boasted about how she was the best Devil Hunter they had, which only brought unwarranted attention to her of course.
But a part of her kinda liked the attention.
"Y-yeah... I guess," she replied, turning to face him fully. "What's up?"

@webbedphantom || Liked for a Test Muse Starter! (Asa)
Asa trailed behind the rest of her classmates as they headed up the front steps of Shujin Academy. It was rare for Shujin to open its doors to other schools for cultural exchange events, but after the recent scandals and mishaps presented about the school in the media, it was probably a good PR move to start building relationships with other schools. Not that Asa's school hadn't had its fair share of controversy.
That boy looks like he doesn't want to be here as much as you don't, Yoru's voice echoed in Asa's head.
Probably because he was forced into this like I was.
"Alright listen up everyone!" Her (new) homeroom teacher said over the crowd's low muttering. "This is Amamiya Aaron, a student at Shujin Academy! He's going to be your tour guide and companion for the day. Please be respectful and behave."
Asa stayed silent as she watched a few of her classmates giggle and whisper to each other about the boy.
"He's kind of cute, isn't he?"
"Ew, no way. He's too nerdy!"
Asa rolled her eyes. "Grow up," she mumbled to herself.

“now would be a good time to kiss me...’ (asa)
Kiss Time || Accepting
There's a moment of complete silence as Asa processes what he just said. She could actually feel her brain buffering for a moment before Yoru's voice in her ear broke the silence.
Are you just going to sit there and look at him like an idiot or are you going to kiss him?
Asa huffed, her brows furrowing as she shook her head.
"At least eat a breath mint and brush your teeth first!!" She demanded. "I'm n-not kissing someone whose breath stinks like fish!"

She visibly frowned when Wrath took over, her eyes narrowing and lips pursed in a thin line. She stared at him like a woman scorned by an ex-lover would stare at said ex's new girlfriend. She stayed silent as he ranted on, eyes judgmental and face clearly disgusted. After a moment or two, Yoru stood up straight and lowered the sword.
"No one remembers the Great Wars. No one even wants to start or participate in war anymore," She stated. "Humans are weak and pathetic. Chainsaw destroyed my reputation. I want revenge."
She pointed the sword at him again, a disturbing smile pulling at her lips. She could feel Asa's soul behind her, watching in fear. "We could rule this world together, you know. If we join forces we can defeat Chainsaw together, we can wreak havoc across the world and bring chaos to reign once again."
A smile crept across his face, “War Devil? Well, well! That’s someone worth fighting! In fact, I think Wrath himself wants to get in on this. He says you have history.”
After a brief pause, a change not too dissimilar to Yoru and Asa’s occurred. Wrath was in control now. He stood far more relaxed than the other, hunched down and arms swaying freely.
“War… it’s been a while, hasn’t it? I think… Taiwan, last we met? Though it seems like we’ve both found human hosts since then… you were a lot stronger back then, too, I’m guessing. First World War right around the corner, tensions riding high as everyone scrambles to build new weapons… but it’s been a while since there’s been a good war. We’ve both always waxed and waned in power around the same time. So what gives? Why make a move now? You got some plan to start a new war or something? Gonna be pretty hard to top that last big one.”

"I hate cocky men," Yoru stated, swinging the spine sword around idly. "Quit blabbering and throw your big ugly fists at me already so I may chop them off. You're wasting my time."
Yoru positioned herself, raising the sword up and at the ready. She wasn't about to attack first, despite her desperate demands for Asa to do so earlier, because she wanted to gauge how powerful the Wrath Devil really was. She'd fought him close to a century ago, but a lot could change in 100 years...
"Not quite a typical contract," She answered. "But if you must know. I'm the War Devil."
Asa's disembodied soul stood only a foot behind her body, an incredulous look on her face. Just why are you telling him that?!
“Told you I’d get what I wanted anyways.” He replied, grinning, as he took his own fighting stance.
“It’s a shame! If you’d just actually offered me something, or just let the other girl say her piece? Maybe we would have gotten somewhere, then!”
He began to hop back and forth from foot to foot. A grin creeping across his face. Making weapons from dead bodies? Exciting. He couldn’t help but wonder what kind of devil she had a contract with. Might as well ask, right? Could only serve to irritate more. And that was more than fine for Wrath Devil.
“So… bone swords and stuff? What kind of devil you got a contract with?”

Attack him, Asa.
"I..."
ATTACK HIM!
Asa glanced up at the boy. He looked just around her age, yet he was much stronger and damn well able to snap her in half if she were to get in his grasp. She didn't want to fight him, she was too scared, too cowardly. She couldn't do it... she couldn't... She...
"Fine. You're useless anyway," Yoru spoke through Asa's mouth, taking over her body again.
Yoru raised the grotesque sword and pointed it at the boy. "I don't really care to make a contract with you anymore. You're annoying me. Let's get this over with."
“If you wanna fight, feel free to attack.”
“But I haven’t agreed to any kind of contract. So all you’d get out of it is your ass kicked. So the question has changed. Do you wanna fight? Personally I could go either way. Not too strongly in either camp. I’m okay with fighting, but only for the sake of testing my limits and getting stronger. To fight just because someone wants me to go punch something… eh, not my style. It’s why I don’t wanna make any deals with you. I don’t stand to gain anything I can’t get by refusing the offer. If I agree, we fight. If I decline, you want to fight me anyway. Only difference is that losing after making the deal condemns me to your conditions. I appreciate the effort of pulling a Laughing Salesman trick on me, and if Wrath wasn’t here with me, you’d probably have tricked me pretty good. But thankfully, hes actually pretty level headed when he’s full.”

If you don't pick up that sword and fight this asshole I'll make sure your death is slow and painful.
Yoru's voice lingered in Asa's head as she groaned softly. Her expression was a strange mixture of annoyance and fear, yet she did as Yoru said and picked the sword back up.
Don't tell him anything.
"Y-You... wanted to fight, right?" Asa began, hands gripping the spine tightly again. "Hurry up and fight me. That's what you wanted so just do it. I hate people who go back on their word last minute."
“Well, finally. I hate bossy people like the other girl. She’s mean, how’d you end up in a situation like that? And what does she even want from me anyway? If she’d just tell me what she wanted, I wouldn’t have to play Devil Lawyer just to dodge whatever contract she was trying to make.”
He sighed, “So… I take it that you’re still pretty new to this whole thing? A little blood and guts wouldn’t bother you otherwise. Stuff’s more common than rain in this line of work. But that also means that you’ll probably just be direct with me. So what exactly is it she wants me to help her with?”

"But I did offer you something!! I offered to leave you the hell alone if you won!"
Yoru could feel Asa rolling her eyes behind her. This boy was starting to frustrate her beyond belief. How could one be so stubborn and pig-headed? If only humans would just do whatever she wanted, when she wanted. But controlling things had been her sister's expertise...
"Fine! You wanna fight her? Be my guest!"
Suddenly Asa found herself back in her body again, staring at the boy who couldn't be much older than she. "Uh... I... I d-don't want to fight! I swear I'm not..." She stammered.
She noticed she was still holding the spine of the man Yoru had killed. "Ah!" she gasped, quickly dropping it and wiping her hands on her skirt - blood smearing and staining the fabric.
“No deal. You’re not offering me anything. I can just attack you and get a fight without a bet. Besides, Wrath probably would be a big fan of me making any more contracts with other devils. Sorry, ma’am, but I’m not so easily controlled.”
He sat back down, still smiling in amusement, “Go ahead, I’ve got all day. Try a few more times and you might actually figure out what a deal is. Or maybe let the other girl without the scars try?”

The hint of disgust crossed her features as he mentioned his friends were planning on confessing their love to her. The thought of being the object of someone's affection never made her very comfortable. She could never understand why some of the girls her age were so obsessed with having a boyfriend or dating in general. But then again, Yoru was set on having Denji Hayakawa fall in love with Asa. And it wasn't like she didn't like him...
"Yeah... I... Guess you're right," she replied, avoiding eye contact with him. "I suppose I could ask your friends to leave."
Yoru hummed softly in Asa's ear. Perhaps, if these boys are strong, we could use them to our advantage.
Asa ignored her, finally looking Unji in the eye. "And you're not wrong... There is something fishy going on. I'm... I'm trying to look into it myself."
"You have more influence on them than you think." The young man rubbed the back of his head and let out a sigh, Unji thought he could omit this part of the context, as he didn't want to make his boys seem like a bunch of fools. But it seems there wasn't much of a choice. "My guys, they've joined the church because of you."
"Something about professing their love for you once they're a high-enough rank. So... as ya can probably tell, they're way over their heads."
Unji looks around, his eyes much sharper. Unji was a fan of Chainsaw Man, he always thought the guy was a badass. But worship? For someone known to tear other's apart? That's bound to end in trouble.
"I'll be straight with you, I don't like the Church, it has a creepy cult vibe, and it feels some shit is going to go down sooner rather than later. So I'd rather have my boys away from whatever happens."
"You can tell it too, don't you? Something's off about this church thing."

"Everyone wants something. Isn't that the crux of humanity?"
Asa stayed silent behind her own body, watching as Yoru weighed the spinal sword in her hands. "Sure, you can call me a devil hunter. But I'm not exactly thrilled to hunt my own kind," Yoru continued.
Why would you admit that?! Asa protested. You really are stupid!!
"Ah, the Wrath Devil?" Yoru seemed interested again, her brow rising. "So that's why you can fight so well. If a fight is what you want, then why don't we make a bet? If you can actually hit me once in five minutes, I'll leave you alone. If you can't, you have to make a contract with me."
“And what if I don’t want anything?” He asked, “I’m guessing you’re some kind of devil hunter? Maybe even a devil yourself, like that Chainsaw Man people have been going crazy about?”
The boy smiled, but somehow his expression grew more unwelcoming.
“Sorry, lady. But I’ve heard the song and dance before from a lady in Public Safety a few years ago. You actually remind me a bit of her, somehow. Maybe it’s your eyes… or the way you talk? I don’t really care. But unless you wanna fight, or you can bring me one hell of a fight, I don’t think we have much to talk about. See, I’ve got this really sweet contract with Wrath Devil, so I don’t really need a partner.”

"You're asking a member of the church to convince other members to leave?" She asked, raising a brow at him.
It was a rather strange request, but it wasn't like Asa had joined because she believed in Chainsaw Man the way the other members did. Yoru had decided that joining would bring them closer to finding the real Chainsaw Man and look where that landed them! Now they were the unofficial face of the church itself!
"I get not wanting to make enemies with people who're nuts for Chainsaw Man, but I'm not as influential in the church as it might seem," She replied. "Even if I did manage to talk to them, I doubt they'd even care or listen to me."
"The name's Unji Zuma." With a nod, the young man tried to signal the girl to walk with him, hands in his pockets and a stern expression on his face.
The girl looked rather unassuming, shy even, it was a wonder how someone like that became the poster girl of a wacky cult like Chainsaw Man Church. But he didn't go there to ponder about that.
"Look, I won't beat around the bush. Some senior high schoolers just joined this church. And I want them out. Is there any way you can help me with that?"
He stopped in his tracks and turned to face the girl, hands still in his pockets. "I usually would just go straight there and take them, but you seem like a nice girl, so I figured I'd ask."

You idiot. Of course, he's not gonna go for that!! Asa hissed.
"What do you want then? I can grant any wish you desire," Yoru stated, ignoring Asa behind her. She offered the boy as flirty a smile as she could muster, though on Asa's features it looked strained and awkward.
"I admire your strength," Yoru continued. She slowly knelt down to one of the crumpled bodies on the ground. The man was barely breathing still, his face bloodied and broken from the boy's fists. Yoru pressed Asa's foot against the neck of the man, crushing it completely and snuffing out the man's life. Her eyes stayed glued to the boy in his seat the entire time.
"This body belongs to me now. Spinal cord sword," Yoru whispered. She could hear Asa retching behind her as the body morphed, a weapon being formed from the man's spine. Yoru held it in her hands, admiring the sharpness of the spine.
"So how about it? You and I could do some great things together."
“Why would I do that?” He asked, shifting his weight back, tilting his head,
“I don’t even know who the hell you are. You’re gonna have to offer a lot more than that to try and get anything from me.”
His eyes scanned the woman in front of him, already planning how he’d go about taking her down. She didn’t seem like a threat, but she also definitely didn’t seem… right. The brief moment of freezing up wasn’t normal. Brief as it was, it disrupted her natural rhythm, like someone else was controlling the body.
