Cupid and Me - Yuki Tsunoda x ColombianOlympicArchery! Reader

Plot: Yuki loves watching archery… and of course he supports the Japanese Team, however he can’t help being entranced by the Colombian Lady, and he thinks it’s time to become Cupid himself even though your aim is way better!

Yuki was always into sports, not just karting going into F1 but he loved Golf, Football, Swimming, he loved it all. So when AlphaTauri gave him the chance to go and watch the summer Olympics for a few days in the off season as a means for content he was so excited to be a part of it.

He started off his day watching a Basketball match. He sat watching happily to see who would win between Finland and China.

The atmosphere was always so incredible and the amount of different fans you would that had travelled half way across the world just to see these sports and people compete for their country was incredible.

The next place he was to go to, was Archery. He was extremely excited, knowing the people he’d be rooting for were good at these kinds of sports that required that extra level of intellect and precision.

While he held up his Japanese flag for the woman who currently held the highest score of the match, having a bullseye and a few 8’s and 9’s his gaze wondered over to you, who was just about to start.

You were tall, fierce and your sleek dark hair up in a claw clip keeping it in place out of your face.

Now Yuki didn’t believe in love at first sight but when he saw you pull back the now and line it up close to your nose to get the perfect shot, and he saw you immediately hit a 9 and celebrate in a loud and almost boisterous manner he couldn’t help but feel his heart flutter.

It was stupid really, he was there in the stands waving a Japanese flag to support his own country and his people, but you stood there with the Colombian flag on the back of your team gear along with your name and number he couldn’t help it.

As the game went on, he found himself learning more about you, from the way you talked to the other contenders with a bright smile on your face, or nodding your head while your trainer chatted your ear of no doubt about strategy and where you were lacking, not that Yuki thought you were, you were storming your contestants.

“Can I get a picture with the winner, I think it’ll be good for content?” He asked once it was obvious you were going to be the winner.

“Yea, let’s pray the Japanese team pull through so you can hold the flag up together but that Colombian girl, Y/N is the Archer himself!” She exclaims seeing Y/N pull another bullseye.

You ended up winning gold, a Japanese girl called Ai and an American called April.

“Y/N there’s someone who wants to take a picture with you and meet you” you trainer says as you finish your celebrations holding up the other girls flags while they had pictures with their flowers before they held up yours.

“Oh yeah who is it!” You smile, wondering if it was a fan or another celebrity.

“It’s Yuki Tsunoda? He’s a Japanese F1 driver!” She answers and you nod, being sort of familiar with the popular driving sport.

“Sure, where is he! Send him my way!” You grinned excited to meet another athlete.

Yuki came in and you were shocked to see how short he was, around 5’2 whereas you were around 5’7. But he was cutely pocked sized - how on Earth was he an F1 driver.

You were in thought as he shyly came up to you. Be polite, great him in his own language.

“Kon'nichiwa” you test, with a polite bow. You’d learnt greetings in most languages, as an Olympian it was always in your mind that you should hold the upmost respect to your competitors.

“Oh, you speak Japanese?” He asks with an even shyer smile on his face.

“Jakkan” you grin indicating that you only knew a little bit of the language, with a wolffish type of smile that had Yuki’s face bursting with Red as he couldn’t take his gaze from you and how captivating you were.

“Okay, how about that photo?” The Alphatauri manager asks directing you to to stand next to each other.

“Hey, you want to wear my medal?” You’d asked him, another grin on your face as you stated to take it off from around you next.

“No no no. It’s yours!” He cries as if it’s the most outrageous thing ever, but you stop him and place it around his neck! In the photo you have your arm around his shoulder your opposite hand pointing to the medal with your mouth open in an excited way.

Yuki is all smiles and before you know it, the managers have left the pair of you alone and your both talking.

He’s asking you about how you got into archery and your talking about how he got into F1 and how it feels to drive a car as quickly as that, and when you both delve a little deeper you find the feels of releasing the arrow and launching as the lights go out isn’t too dissimilar.

“You want to join me for dinner?” You ask boldly, not that it was a scary situation for you, you were normally quiet upfront when it came to things like this so it didn’t feel too odd.

“Yes, I think I’d really enjoy that!” He smiled.

And that was the start of a beautiful new relationship formed through observation, love at first sight and a little help in hand from Cupid.

Kibbe Body Types and Celebrities: a Beginner's Guide

David Kibbe, author of Metamorphosis, drew upon previous fashion systems to create his own Kibbe Body System, homing in on the yin-yang balance of the body and boiling his method down to the bare bones-- literally-- of the overall frame: length, width, height, and softness. Then, he divided each feature into two main categories:  the yin softness or the yang structure. The more “structure” a frame had, the more “visual weight” it presented; and the more “softness” it had, the less “visual weight” it presented. 

At first, Kibbe sorted each frame into five main types with two additional subtypes. However, his system recently caught on fire with popularity, leading to vast misinterpretations or reinterpretations through over analysis and hyper fixation. Because of this, David updated his system (and is reworking on an updated version of his book), resifting his old designs into a simpler order.  

This analysis will be working from the information I've gleaned mostly from Aly Art's channel here. She is incredible at stripping down each concept to its basics-- highly recommend. I also used Merriam Style’s channel for her body type test (here), which is an even more stripped version of Kibbe’s original body type quiz. (Aly's version of the quiz is here.)

**Note**: Kibbe Body Types are separate from the actual weight of an individual; and do not change with bodily fluctuations, changes, or even age. Example: Romantics will always appear softer compared to other body types their height or weight because of the “flesh” (natural padding of fat) over their muscles and bones, whereas Naturals will always appear more “mature” compared to older Gamines because of the visual weight of the bones (cheekbone, jawbone, etc.) in their face. 

KIBBE BODY TYPES

**Note**: The Kibbe Body System is a complete overview of the entire frame, not just the face: two different people can share strikingly similar facial features yet have completely different bodies. It’s important to assess more than one facet.

If we were to place the Kibbe Body Types on a left to right scale, Dramatics have the most yang-- sharpness, length, elongation, structure-- and Romantics have the most yin-- shortness, roundness, softness. In the middle would sit the Classics-- a balanced mixture of yang structure and yin softness; mid-left would be Naturals (yang elongation with blunted width); and mid-right would be Gamines (an uneven mixture of yin and yang.)

DRAMATIC TYPES

Dramatics

Dramatic Types have longer, angular, more narrow bones-- a vertical column, if you will-- that curve into points instead of “blunt” edges. They are moderate to tall (5’9"/173cm and up), and have prominent, straight, sleek features. If plus sized, they accumulate weight in their hips and upper thighs.

Soft Dramatic Types have more softness in their bust and hips, giving them a powerful voluptuousness (as opposed to the Romantic Types delicate pure yin.) They are moderate to tall (5’7”/170cm and up), with a moderate waist and fleshier facial features, arms, and hips. If plus sized, they get heavier on the fleshiest parts of the body: bust, hips, waist, thighs, upper arms, and the face.

NATURAL TYPES

Naturals have longer, blunted, wider bones-- a T-shape, if you will-- that curve into blunts instead of angular or softened edges. 

David Kibbe no longer believes in the pure Natural Type, placing clients or celebrities into either Flamboyant or Soft Natural.

Flamboyant Naturals

Flamboyant Natural Types have a touch more structure: blunt, long, wide bones; wide, T-shaped shoulders; and a figure that narrows in a flat, straight line down their waist, hips, and legs. They are moderate to tall (5’11”/180cm and up), with features that are broad and angular, but not sharp. If plus sized, the body tends to become squarer.

Soft Natural have a softness to their long, blunt, wide bones, narrow hips. They are moderate to tall (5’5”/165cm and up), with smaller, rounder softness to their blunt facial features and frame. Their T-shape is less pronounced because of their more proportionate shoulders (in comparison to Flamboyant Naturals, at least.) If plus sized, SNs thicken in their upper arms, thighs, and hips.

Classics are an even mixture of both skeletal structures: their frames are mid-height or tallish-- symmetrical angles or edges-- with a “balanced” appearance: their arms, waists, and legs are proportionate in length and width to their overall frame (not too angular, curved, or blunt); and can handle more visual weight than Romantics but less so than Dramatics or Naturals. They appear naturally polished; and often are dragged down by elements in their wardrobes that skew too much in any direction (appearing overwhelmed or overdone.) 

Kibbe no longer promotes pure Classic Types, insisting that no person can be a perfect mixture and discouraging his clients or followers from trying to fit themselves into an impossible mold. 

Dramatic Classics

Dramatic Classic Types are an even mixture of yin and yang with just a touch more of yang’s structure, giving them either slightly sharper features, slightly longer limbs, or a bit less softness overall. Their height is moderate (5’5”-5’8”/166-172cm or thereabouts); and their figure and features are symmetrically squarish (more rectangular compared to Dramatics’ long and narrow vertical column and Naturals’ long and wide T-shape.) If plus sized, they gain weight in the hips and thighs (rarely around the bustline), becoming more pear-shaped overall.

Soft Classics

Soft Classic Types are a symmetrical mixture with just a touch more of yin’s softness, giving them either slightly softened features, slightly shorter and wider limbs, or slightly more “fleshiness” overall. Their height is moderate (5’5"-5'6”/164-169cm); and their features are slightly small and wide. If plus sized, SCs lose their waist definition and become fuller in the face.

GAMINE TYPES

Gamines are an uneven mixture of both skeletal structures: their frames are usually short or rarely tall-- unsymmetrical angles or edges-- with a “youthful” appearance; and the mismatch of their skeletons give them an appearance of eternal youth instead of “womanly” or “mature” beauty. The endless combinations of their features-- long arms, short arms, long legs, short legs, long torso, short torsos, visual weight in the face, no visual weight in the face, etc. etc.-- thrive in the chaos of mismatching, color blocking, differing clothing silhouettes; and are often dragged down by too much polish or restriction. 

David Kibbe no longer stands by the pure Gamine type, filtering people into either Theatrical or Soft Gamine.

Theatrical Gamines

Theatrical Gamine Types tip the scales in a more yang than yin direction, giving them a broadly angular frame composed of shorter lines (compared to the Dramatics’ and Naturals’ long, angular, and broad lines.) They are moderate to short height (5’6”/168cm) with square, slightly wide features. Structure gives them very defined musculature-- ala Dramatics and Naturals-- and a longer, “leggier” look. If plus sized, TGs collect weight from the waist down, turning squarer or “stocky.”

Soft Gamine Types tip the scales in a more yin than yang direction. They are the short Gamines (5’2”/157cm or thereabouts): delicately broad-- a combination of delicate and small, broad and angular-- with width dominated by an overall “fleshy” softness in their arms, hips, and thighs. SGs often have “doll" like features: rounded face shape, fleshy cheeks and big eyes. If plus sized, their figure becomes more rounded, mainly in the bust, hips, arms, and face area. (Soft Gamines often think they are overweight-- when more often they’re not-- because of their natural roundness and lack of pronounced hips and waist.)

Romantics are dominated by yin softness; and, therefore, have the least visual “weight” to them. Their frames are mid-height or shorter (5’5"/166cm and under) with “rounded” and curved angles or edges-- sloped or petite shoulders, rounded facial features, and “fleshy”, shorter arms, waists, and legs. If plus sized, Romantics keep their waist definition while their body and face become more rounded and “full.”

Their moderate to petite height (5’2”/157cm or thereabouts) is voluptuous, but small and narrow as opposed to wide and “bulky.” If plus sized, their figure retains its defined waist while the arms, thighs, and face become quite “fleshy.”

Records, until broken, withstand the test of time. On the left is a 5’7” guard who played at Francis Marion during a time where women’s college basketball was played under the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW).

During her collegiate career, Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Pearl Moore scored 4061pts.

After big-named schools moved to the NCAA in the early 1980s and a federal antitrust lawsuit, the AIAW dissolved, but their records never died.

In the NCAA, Caitlin Clark stands alone at the top of points scored. While what Clark has done in the women’s game is impressive, we cannot yet say that she owns the all-time record in women’s college basketball history. That, still, belongs to Pearl Moore, a record that is 45 years old.

My bones have been hurting for years master post. Shot in the dark to the chronic illness side of tumblr, maybe someone here can point me in a direction that “X” amount of doctors haven’t. I have always been so quick hide or pretend my pain wasn’t there/as bad as it was, even when at times I was in so much pain I had a hard time moving, I’m now trying to figure out how heal/live with whatever this is.

I am in pain most all the time, I am exhausted all of the time, I have a very hard time sleeping/resting. Walking hurts, standing hurts, sitting hurts. I hardly eat due to no appetite/digestive issues and severe (SEVERE) stomach pain. My ankles, legs, and knees hurt whenever I lay down. My right hip/sciatica hurts when I walk. My lower back is a wreck (no cartilage between bottom two vertebrate) and sometimes causes so much pain I can’t walk in my own. There’s constant muscle ache in my whole back, neck, and shoulders. My forearms, wrists, and hands ache constantly, and sometimes get worse with applying pressure, gripping, or cracking knuckles.

With all of this, I am extremely athletic, I coach parkour and in college could have moved forward with playing professional ultimate frisbee. My body has always been able to do far more than it looks like it should be able to do in a 5’7 frame (strength, agility, vertical, dexterity) and I love being able to do these things; however, it’s gotten to a point where though I can still do all of these things, the toll it takes on my body just isn’t worth it, which has taken a huge toll on my already unwell mental health (depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies).

Even if it’s just a chronic fatigue/pain syndrome or something, I just want to try to figure out what’s happening to my body, so I can learn to live with them. I’ve had Lyme, I tested positive for indicators for lupus, but after a rheumatologist appointment and more testing my doctor said she could confidently rule that out. She suggested the possibility of a hypermobility or connective tissue disorder, and I have very little resources for that where I am, but will be exhausting what I have. (Doesn’t seem to be consistent with EDS)

I just don’t know what to do anymore, and I’m hoping maybe a random online stranger might empathize with some of what I deal with and maybe have some tips or direction. Interaction and DM’s are welcomed

General Description:

Silena is a young greaser who works to keep herself in the best shape possible. She has a confident walk and holds her head high. When speaking she is rather loud and loves to fit in a jab or joke whenever she can. Silena likes to socialize and is often always with friends.

Silena is 5’7 with an athletic build. She has a few northern Mediterranean features such as an olive undertone to her skin and a very defined face. Her hair is naturally wavy and is well kept and styled. Her eyes are a bright blue, and are often the first thing people notice when they see her. Silena also enjoys wearing very striking makeup, and always sports a red lip.

Interests and whatnot:

Silena LOVES makeup. She never goes a day without it. This isn’t out of insecurity, or a need to impress boys. Makeup is a way for Silena to express herself and boost her confidence. She loves bold colors and shimmers

Silena is liked amongst the jocks. As a cheerleader she pulls her weight on the team. She actually gets along with Mandy very well, and often worried about her due to Mandy’s self image.

She’s a well respected member of the greasers. Although she exhibits some of the same habits as Lola, Silena hasn’t yet brought her secret boyfriend around the greasers. She sees Lola as a blueprint of what not to do if you wanna cheat. She is close friends with Kate, and even views her as the twin sister she never had.

The press hate Silena and Silena hates the preps. She takes joy in egging their cats and tp’ing their mansions. Her favorite past time is watching the clique inevitably get squashed in rumbles. Although she does feel bad for Tad. He reminds her of Kate, just, really unbearable and rich.

Silena has gained enough respect with the greasers to mostly be left alone by the bullies. She can fend for herself against them pretty well. Bullying someone isn’t very fun when they give you back the same energy instead of cowering.

Silena hates Earnest, so she doesn’t like the nerds. She thinks most of them are smelly, unhygienic, and gross. Every once in a while she will either bully them or bribe them into giving her test or homework answers.

Background:

Retro Candi grew up in Black rock, and often had a hard time finding food. Often having to steal whatever she could, and had many encounters of her blood sugar levels dropping drastically. regularly pranking Biografts as well. Being a bit of a trouble maker as a kid, and causing the company minor problems. She was never a big threat, until she had taken a prank too far on one of Black rock’s higher ups—being taken into the lab’s custody(Basically kidnapped).

Later being forced to work under them, having her mind altered and basically used as a sort of dummy to test out how long a phighter could go without certain things and such, such as starvation and sleep.

Around the age of 27, she finally managed to get away, and completely started a new life for herself, moving to cross roads and thus opening her shop to help her cope and forget everything of her past.

No, I am underweight.

BHABSHS That was quick answer. Anyway, I may be “short” in many people’s standards but I am (a little above) average height in my country, being 169 cm (haha nice) or like ≈ 5’7 for you Americans. That being said, I am also stuck being 46-47 kg. Not a joke yes I am serious. No, I am not anorexic, I have a metabolism that hates me.

But this just means I get super fucked up from blood tests. At least my doctors love me because my veins look like they’re drawn onto my skin. It was actually quite fun this time around. Fun fact about me, I am not afraid of needles like AT ALL. So when I went in to get the blood test my doctor let me know she had a student with her. She took a look at my arm’s veins, and then turned to her student saying “You can do this one”. I have great visible veins xD. And it went well, it was all good. I bought myself a juice after.

I am currently lying down in my school’s random couch because I am goddamn nauseous. It’s not as bad as last time when I almost passed out because I forgot to drink some juice after the test. I am just a lil lightheaded this time around.

[Visual: The screen of the infomercial was playing on zooms out to reveal the dark room. Only this time the lights turn on suddenly to reveal a high-school classroom.

It’s a fairly well-decorated, sleek, and colorful space, with other touches, like a digital holographic screen displaying the title MAVERICKS. Students look mildly disinterested as a young boy, about 5’5 feet tall and 16 years old, with a light skin tone and brown eye color and a black hairstyle (think like Hotaro Oreki) and wearing a white t-shirt with gray jeans, is barely keeping himself awake when his teacher, a fairly lanky and skinny man, addresses the class and turns off the screen the infomercial was playing on.

Teacher:

“So everyone, what were your opinions on the ‘Welcome to Aurora’ video?”

[Visual: The students respond randomly and uncommitted, their answers drowned out by the overall feeling of extreme boredom]

Teacher (annoyed):

“Maybe I forgot to say you all have an assignment due on this.”

[Visual: The class suddenly panics and scrambles to get out pens and notepads as the teacher sends the classwork notification to their devices. The boy, now aware of his surroundings, looks at the assignment on his pad in confusion.]

“Uhh, Mr. Tompson?”

“I wish. It’s been an issue as far back as I can think of. But it’s honestly getting better lately.”

Dan:

“If that was true, I wouldn’t be doing this for you. (realizes something and looks at the pad) Speaking of which, you owe me one.”

[Visual: The pad pings with the result: a perfect 100 with fanfare music along with it. David smiles at Dan]

David:

“Thanks.”

[Visual: Tompson looks at the time on a wall screen and pulls up all the tests on his computer. He seems to take special interest in David and Dan’s]

Tompson:

“Mr. Conner. Mr. West.”

David (worried):

“Great. He caught us.”

Tompson:

“You both did outstanding work today. Great job gentlemen! And in record time too.”

David (relieved): 

“Oh thank god, I thought you just wrote my answers word for word.”

Dan:

“And why exactly would I do something so stupid? He’ll probably think I copied you and THEN what would happen?”

David:

“Good point.”

Tompson:

“I am proud of you two. As a reward, you can both start early on the next assignment.”

[Visual: Tompson takes out a remote and presses a button, which replaces both of the boys’ desks with a table littered with science equipment, lab materials, and a book manual. David looks disappointed]

David: 

“Goddamnit”.

[Visual: Dan and David begin putting on some protective gear and look at the manual]

David:

“I thought we would actually get to relax, not do more work.

Dan:

“Relax. Looking at the whole thing right now, It’s really just a simple goal of getting a chemical reaction out of this. If we’re lucky, this whole thing should take about…3 hours.”

David:

“What?!”

Dan:

“Give or take, honestly. Now, stop complaining and hurry up, the sooner we finish, the better.”

[Visual: David looks extremely bored as Dan begins to read the manual. As he is doing so, David notices some nearby chemicals: One light blue liquid in an orb-like glass and several bright yellow cubes]

David:

“Dan, I need the manual for a minute.

Dan:

“Be my guest.”

[Visual: David grabs the manual from Dan and looks over a page about the two chemicals. It says they are both individually harmless and little more than multicolored liquid]

David:

“Dan, you see those two vials over there?”

Dan:

“Yeah?”

[Visual: David smiles at Dan]

David: I’m gonna mix them.

[Visual: David reaches for the vials when Dan’s hand stops him]

Dan:

“A-Are you stupid?! Do you want to get expel-”

David:

“It’s fine. The manual says they’re both safe to work with. At worst, you’ll probably get a chemical burn or something. Besides, we’re not gonna do anything interesting in this class, so this might be fun. Trust me.”

Dan:

“Okay…”

[Visual: David throws the manual to the side, where the book lands on a page that says that the two materials should not be combined, lest the risk of triggering an explosive chemical reaction. David is about to drop a cube in the blue liquid]

Dan:

“Wait.”

David (confused):

“Hmm?”

Dan:

“Shouldn’t you drop two cubes for a better reaction?”

David:

“Huh. Good point.”

[Visual: Slow-motion close-up on the cubes as David drops them, splashing into the blue liquid as it starts to bubble. Cut to a floating car going down the highway as other similar cars move around it. We see a white 5’10 man with a lanky and slim build, wearing a formal-looking office worker shirt with blue jeans. He has a messy look to his hair like he just got done with a particularly stressful overtime shift. He has slight bags in his eyes and has brown hair with a slight beard growing. This is Nigel Conner, David Conner’s dad]

Nigel (optimistic):

“So was your day at school?”

David:

“Good.”

Nigel:

“Anything you want to discuss?”

[Visual: David pauses for a bit]

David:

“No, not really.”

[Visual: Nigel frowns and adjusts the rear-view mirror which shows David, who is both covered in dust and soot and has mangled-looking hair. David looks off to the side with a shameful look on his face]

Nigel:

“Oh don’t be like that. Everyone makes mistakes. I remember the last time I made a chemical error.”

David:

”Dad, I don’t think you blew up a classroom when you did. I screwed up and now your schedule is messed up because I couldn’t keep my hands off the vials.

Nigel: 

“The point is, just because you messed up today, doesn’t mean you will mess up tomorrow. You were curious about the chemical reaction and how it would work. That’s the sign of a true scientist. You just didn’t read the instructions first. But that doesn’t mean you failed.”

David:

“Wish my teacher thought the same thing. You should have seen how angry he was. I wish I could have known not to combine those two materials.”

Nigel:

“Which is why I will make sure Dr. Achmann will teach you all about Glaurine and Portocubes.

David:

“Wha?”

Nigel:

“You heard me.”

David:

“But Dad, I have a plan with my friends later! We’re gonna go to a swimming pool!”

Nigel:

“Friends and swimming can wait. You’re not going anywhere unless you can tell me the definitions of both of those materials with zero trip-ups.”

David (frustrated):

“Dad!”

Nigel:

“No. You’re going to study hard, young man, and by the time this day’s over, you’re gonna like it!”

David:

“Arggh!”

[Visual: As the final parts of the conversation go on (starting from the ‘but dad’ part) We cut to the car speeding down the highway as we see the tall buildings, floating and flying cars, and multiple shining lights of the city.]

Dogsred - Tsunemaru Youta and Genma Koichi

I made a post about the theories I had concerning Tsunemaru Youta. One of them was being measured up against other hockey players, both past and present, especially Genma Koichi. Chapter 10 seemed to imply it was the case.

Let’s start with what we have learned about Youta in this chapter.

(lol, even in the next life, Ogata cannot escape the “cat” moniker)

If he’s around Ogata’s height (171 cm / 5’7”), then that makes him below average (which is in the 180s cm / around 6 feet). He possesses “quick wit and agility”, but that still doesn’t erase the fact that he has shorter stride and reach than his taller teammates. He probably had to work twice as hard to catch up to them. His efforts paid off and he became the “regular goalie for the final game of last year’s championship”. During his time as a first year, he had supposedly built the experience to keep his cool during matches.

As for Koichi…

Because of the mature attitude he had displayed in the previous chapters, I (and maybe a few others) had forgotten that he’s a Genma. He’s as passionate as his younger brother when it comes to the sport, to the point of putting his team’s chances of victory at stake, it seems. Maybe that “overzealousness” was why Youta had to be the starting goalie again.

Yet, according to Fuji in Chapter 9:

So the second match of the tournament was his last one before he had to be taken over by Koichi. Why? I doubt it was because of an injury because Nihei would have mentioned it along with his injured adductor. Did Nihei want to test Koichi against other teams and keep him longer on the rink to polish his abilities? Did the attention given to Koichi make Youta insecure and feel like he was about to be replaced (despite rationality saying it can’t be helped)?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the case.

From his point of view, he got to be the goalie again after who knows how many games, for the match which will determine the continuation or the end of Oinokami’s winning streak, only to get injured during the first period and taken over right after that. And to rub salt into the wound, the moment Koichi entered the rink…

(Careful, Youta. Your Ogata is showing. 😅😅😅)

However, Youta forgets that Oinokami scored after Higuchi got scolded by Nihei for acting recklessly because he thought, as the captain, he alone carried his school’s legacy on his shoulders when hockey is a team sport.

The failure doesn’t lie only with him, but who knows if he will understand that in later chapters.

The interesting part for me is that he and Koichi aren’t so different from each other. They both appear collected but are in fact ardent people. Youta and his pride. Koichi and his love for hockey.

Youta is not the only one to carry the burden of continuing a family’s and / or Oinokami’s legacy. Maybe we will see a dynamic between him and the older Genma brother in the future.

(So Ogata is STILL not free from being compared to a(n older) brother and / or someone younger and better than him (basically, Yuusaku). 😂😂😂)
