YES. BASEBALL MOTHER FUCKIN PLAYER RHETT!!!! With the pants and the cowboy hat (hadn't thought about that but lord have mercy the visual with his uniform still on is 😮‍💨) and the CHEEK FULL OF SUNFLOWER SEEDS!!! Pretty sure I got the idea from some pic of Lew from behind and I was just like....that is hair that DESERVES nay NEEDS to be under a baseball cap....

So my thoughts are that he either plays for the Colorado Rockies (cause he is a western boy at heart lets be clear) or just because I'm familiar with the stadium and area: the Cincinnati Reds.

I love him as a pitcher or a shortstop, the two sexiest positions in baseball in my humble opinion.

And what if I told you Miss Tess is a familiar face cause that baby boy is his huh? 👀👀 romantic fling years ago when he was still a rookie but she couldn't handle the life of a baseball girlfriend, so they broke up after only a few months...

yes yes yes that's exactly my thought here! they both stay in wabang, rhett has to navigate being around his family again and his feelings for tess and becoming a father (but I also have the thought that rhett has prior commitments in the circuit, so he does leave to ride a few times a few different places - unsure if tess goes with him at this point).

👀👀👀 that would be so intense and sad. cause maybe she goes to the future and finds future rhett and he's a freaking mess cause she wasn't there.

i do know for a fact she's not going anywhere near 🕳The Hole🕳 however. I am making her pretty blissfully unaware of the plot tbh

Rhett is a starter for sure…he’s got the stamina if I may (😏😏👀👀) and ABSOLUTELY he played for the Yankees. God that’s hilarious. What would his walk on song be for that team ya think? Something just ridiculous. Probably save a horse ride a cowboy and he just eats it up.

While rationally it’s probably that rhett and Tess rekindle their relationship and then sit down and tell him….baby boy overhearing it from someone else is so deliciously angsty.
