keeping in mind that this is all inspired by the TV shows I watch as like guilty pleasure background noise here are a few AoFuta centered episode plotlines

first meeting? Aone is an ICU nurse, so when a patient Futakuchi gets attached to ends up in the ICU Aone and Futakuchi end up getting to know each other a little bit because he wants to keep up with the patient. The ending of the episode is their first time eating together as one arrives and the other leaves, establishing shot of a new relationship either with a melancholy tone or a happy tone depending on the patients outcome.

kind of a bunch of little b plots of what everyone does on days off, in which Futakuchi and Aone have a whole thing planned out and nothing goes right. It really bums out Aone out especially when they end up back in his apartment, until Futakuchi has an idea. More than anything he just wanted to spend time with Aone, see him happy. So, he sends Aone out to pick up food and speedruns making Aone's living room as comfy as possible. Just give him a cozy night in. (their storyline here probably acts as comedic relief, it's not really too serious)

pre get together shenanigans from the chaotic ones, Yamamoto and Hoshiumi in this case, trying to get Futakuchi to make a move already. (I think those two are the closest with Futakuchi bc of proximity, maybe add Terushima into that, buddies) They're tired of hearing him simp,

of course there's heavy moments, cases that don't go quite nicely, both of them having their own personal issues, but at least after they do get together, however long that may have taken them, they are a stable presence.
