<Research>: Never-ending Nightmare, played and analyzed by psychologist

This video is about the psychological analyzing done by a Japanese Psychoanalysis Yasufumi Nakoshi (名越康文) , commenting and giving thoughts about this game which was made my creator who suffered by mental issues and family problems, in terms if the characters, atmosphere and narratives. 

It’s interesting how he could give hypothesis about the author’s mental issues by only looking at the main character’s design, which said by Oscar Wilde in his The  Picture of Dorian Grey: “Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.” (1890). I could find some similarities,  both characters under my pen and in this game have bigger head, small mouth and relatively weak body structure. Suggested by Nakoshi that small mouth sometimes indicate negative maternal relationship, as the weaker mouth muscles sometimes result in lack of breast fed during the early childhood, which was true for me. On the other hand, the weak limbs indicated the incapability in real world, unable to stand-up(physically and also sexually). According to this perhaps I could say some of the features of my infant characters have the power to indicate the theme. 

On the other hand, he also suggested an in interesting point, that the baby-like monster as the enemy in the game, perhaps suggested that in the author’s view point, babies are horrible and ugly living being, or even, new born lives are in somehow grotesque. 

In my images, babies don’t have smooth and soft skin but terrcotta rough, and their faces looks dull and emotionless. Perhaps I chose the correct expressions for the theme, however they are also repeating all the times with the same angels and gestures. I should visualize various activities of small children, however, the drawing style is still bothering me.
