☕ and ah your least favorite proxy ?

Admittedly I had to think on this one for a little while. I went through a couple lists of different manufacturer notes and I even just tried looking at the more generalized productions. Probably one of my least favorite in generalized productions is:

The Terra Embattor... MOA? (It's actually referred to as a MOA despite its production being based on Bursa schematics.) Its design is fairly clunky and, I think, kind of ugly at the end of the day. You wind up with this very weird and ugly mishmash between a MOA and Bursa. It has the same weight capacity as a MOA and is just a weirdly weighed down, problematic attack proxy for the Vallis. Another L via Nef Anyo's production team. Please put these things out of their misery.

Another thing is that although they follow similar schematics to a Bursa, MOA parts are generally used in their production. Now, don't get me wrong, I talked earlier about how MOA parts are also sometimes used in the production of standard issue prosthetics but the issue is the weight and (of which the joints on the Embattor cannot handle) maintenance of Embattors. Because of their production and all (and... Production quality which is severely lacking) you need to have experience with both general MOA maintenance AND Bursa maintenance AND specialized proxy maintenance because they are Orb Vallis specific. They are a huge pain in the ass.

As far as larger production proxies?

Yes. Razorback. I think they're stupid and my main issue with them is that for a combat proxy, they fall apart constantly. At the very least unlike Embattors you only need to have some experience with Jackal or Hyena models to understand the fundamentals but, even then, you can't stop these fucking guys from falling apart. They suck. A specialized proxy like this should not be easily falling apart. I get that they're usually set against the Tenno and all pretty often but even during Grineer incursions, these guys just wither and die. It's embarrassing.

Somewhere along the production line also the joints for this proxy were... I guess skipped for quality check? Every single one of these that I've ever seen deployed has had massive issues with its front joints. They lock up constantly and it has something to do with the bearing surface in those exposed front arms.

Whatever composite material they use for the padding on the feet also tends to break away really easily and they deform over time because of the pressure and environments they sometimes put these things in.

Conclusion: In general I'm not really against cross-production of proxies or anything. I actually do like the idea of a MOA-Bursa cross. What I take issue with is the production line of those proxies and the delivered quality of them. There's plenty of exploratory engineering that could be done with a lot of different crosses and a lot more to be done with the current designs that we could update and improve upon. They just haven't been because cost outweighs innovation. Even though some current designs are just... Money sinks. (Looking at Razorback.)

Another four done today (definitely not posting at one in the morning that would be ridiculous) these ones in posing are, well, not the most creative i’ve ever done but they were all still fun to work on~

The top left is West by @sleeplesscubes . Same concept as the last two, have them be in the same shot but at a separate angle. No playing with winged cape today as I didn’t want to be too repetitive but I did have my fun with the eye, very cute character this west is!

The top right is Green? (Name to be changed?) by @theokone . I had an idea but in execution on sketch it didn’t really turn out how i wanted so i had to go much simpler, still we must appreciate the snipy boy (guys i think tumblr culture is started to effect me XD)

The bottom left is Genta by @sillyshape . More soft bat jackal shapes! (I don’t know if that’s what they’re actually based on but they heavily remind me of that so I’m going with this) story on this one is heavily intriguing and once again used in minor inspiration. I can’t imagine they’d like the idea of Muzzles too much after that

And the bottom right is Terra from @jsab-jubs (originally reblogged from @jsabaddictondrugs , I don’t know which account you wanted so i’ll just go with both, sorry for the double @) my attempt is fairly simplistic all things considered but i tried something a bit different then i did with Arrum’s i tried to make it more something i would realistically draw while still staying true to the character, much more a blend of styles if you will. I have to say, I like my attempt with the bull a bit more then the butterfly so it was definitely worth it to me to try something slightly different ^^

My Thoughts on Gargoyles Issue 6: Underwater

Another great issue with a few jaw dropping, surprising moments.

Brooklyn is Narrating, he seems to be struggling as leader, while Goliath is in Prison. He doesn’t think he’s doing anything right.

Goliath refuses to be rescued and thinks it’s best he stays because he thinks it will make things worse.

So Dino Dracon tries to blow up Grisha Volkov. I thought it was going to be a first character death for this comic but he survives, he is badly injured though. 

Volkov thinks Brod and Dane are behind the bombing and asks his son to get rid of Brod. We don’t see his son at first but it made me think that we already know this character and made me keep guessing throughout the comic.

So now Dino Dracon has got Sanchez vs Yingpei and Brod/Dane vs Volkov and is now going after Izaak Slaughter.

So It was Xanatos who hired Tobe Crest to be Goliath’s Lawyer, Hmm i’m starting to think it was Xanatos who donated the resources to the Gargoyles Task Force. He did have this plan during the SLG series and Phase 1 was the Halloween Party.

Brooklyn asks Coldstone and Coldfire to protect them during the day, as he still doesn’t trust Xanatos. I wonder he knows something about Xanatos during his Timedancing journey.

John Casterway is back, I wonder who he is standing next to him.

This took me by surprise, Antoinette visiting Broadway asking for help to stop her uncle. I know that Tony must have told his sister about the Gargoyles but how did she know where they lived? Did she just guess or has connections. The castle is under lockdown too, unless that was only for the day time. 

I’m not trusting her at the moment but also concerned about her at the same time because if Dino finds out that she’s been going behind his back and trying to stop him, she could be in big trouble. I do have a theory that she could end up in Sevarius hands, he does have a syringe with Angela’s DNA in it and he was going to use it on Robyn Canmore in the Bad Guys comic series.

I love the 2 page spread of Brooklyn Timedancing Journey:-

- 210 bce Brooklyn visits China and come across the Terra-Cotta Soldiers.

- 2198, Thought that his visit to 2198 happened before he met Katana but she’s with him, unless he visit’s it twice. I wonder if lost his eye during 2198.

- 1942, visit’s USS Nashville.

Broadway ignores Brooklyn’s orders about staying at the castle and goes to Izaak Slaughter film studios, assuming to warn him about Dino Dracon or help him.

Lex follows him. I just love their little chat. Broadway ask’s Lex if he wants to be his Second for his and Angela’s Mating Ceremony, Lex says yes. Also Broadway asking Lex about his long distance chat with Amp, Lex just smiles and quickly changes the subject.

So how did Dino Dracon get a hold of Cyberbiotics drone bots, did they buy them or steal them.

The ending was a surprise, turns out Volkov son is Wolf, he wants to get rid of Brod but with Tony in the same Prison cell as him, Wolf ask’s Dino is it ok if Tony get’s caught up in the crossfire too, which he’s fine with. Wolf will also try to get rid of Goliath too. So is he going alone or is Jackal and Hyena going with him too.

Demona returns in issue 7, I can’t wait but I wonder how she fits into all this, i’m excited.

THE GODS

There are four major gods of Terra:

-Khel-sarath, the four-winged dragon god of the sky and rain, who in nighttime takes the form of Noct-Sarath, the god of stars and darkness

-Aeon, the god of soil and old forests

-Amatsu, the hydra god-king of deep pools and crashing waves

-Lacquier, the god of fire and mortal souls, not pictured here, who was locked underneath the crust of the earth generations ago for the crime of disrupting the natural order of life by attempting to save mortals on a massive scale from the ancient plagues running through the land at the time

There are also a handful of minor gods, who watch over specific biomes instead of encapsulating whole elements.

Gods take the forms of beasts and animals most commonly. They’re largely ambivalent, heavily tied to the natural world, and can appear to mortals in dreams or visions if they so choose. Sighting a minor god in the wild is thought of as a good (or occasionally bad, depending on the god) omen.

Whether the gods created the world, and the mortal species along with it, or the mortal species created the gods in turn, or they were all brought into existence at the same time is lost knowledge, however, the gods are real, living beings who can choose to manifest physically.

HIREATH

Hireath are nature spirits, formed out of the world around them and given life by the gods. Where minor gods watch over the land itself, Hireath act as supervisors and protectors of the mortal species (and the dragons, who aren’t mortal but still need to be kept an eye on).

Only the three major gods can create Hireath.

DRAGONS

The dragons are considered lesser in status than Hireath, but considerably higher than mortals. They are biologically immortal, and wield powerful, innate magic. They worship Khel-Sarath, and believe Noct-Sarath to be malevolent.

What type of magic a dragon wields is determined by their birth: up until birth, dragon eggs are a delicate, pearly white, and when the dragon hatches, the hatchling, upon breaking out of its shell, absorbs magical energy from its immediate surroundings as a survival mechanism- making the specific magic determined by the surroundings the egg is hatched in. Due to a combination of not having children very often due to long lifespans and a natural sense of hubris, dragon parents often find new and unique ways to hatch their children to have exciting and unconventional abilities.

Dragons are, as a society at large, rather lazy, and spend equal amounts of time in their typical draconic forms, which are seen as more respectable, more put-together, but also more intimidating, and smaller, more compact mortal forms that require less energy, but are seen as less respectable. (This is largely due to the dragons' superiority complexes- they think of appearing "closer to mortals" as more shameful, and it can also be seen as a sign of submission or cowardice in certain situations.)

The entire dragon population (which is very small-- due to their indefinite lifespans they don't feel the need to carry on their bloodlines very often,) is contained on and around the Peak of Worlds.

The higher up the mountain one goes, the higher class the general population is; at the top resides the Sun Palace, where the current monarch of the dragons lives.

Dragon royalty is chosen in a linear line, by blood. Dragons often put their eggs in a magically-powered stasis, due to their long lifespans, and simply pull them out whenever needed. When a monarch dies, the new ruler's egg is hatched on the summer solstice, on the highest possible point on the planet- closest to the sun and sky, and, as the dragons believe, closest to Khel-Sarath. (this belief is reinforced by the fact that sunborn dragons have four wings, instead of the customary two, making them look closer to Khel-Sarath’s physical form). These dragons are called the Sunborn.

If a monarch is unable or unwilling to have eggs and continue a direct bloodline, their closest relative’s children will carry on the line instead. If they have no living relatives, someone else in a high position of power will be chosen.

Moonborn dragons-- dragons hatched on the same peak under starlight-- are strictly forbidden from being hatched, due to the dragons’ beliefs surrounding Noct-Sarath.

MORTAL SPECIES

Mortal species are set apart from the dragons and upwards by their limited lifespans and their inability to use what’s referred to as Higher Magic, or Greater Magic-- magic that comes from power drawn from within a being instead of being drawn from the world around them, which is called Lower Magic, or Lesser Magic.

Grouped together, all the species I've mentioned up to this point are called Higher Beings, due to their innate use of higher magic. The mortal species are sometimes referred to as Lower Beings.

There are three mortal species:

Kinfolk, who are aligned with Aeon and have various animal features,

Uacai, who are aligned with Amatsu/tela and are amphibious fish-people,

and Draakani, who are aligned with Khel-Sarath and are desert-dwelling draconic folk.

Kinfolk live all across Terra, and are the most abundant and widespread of the three species. Their culture is largely inspired by typical European western fantasy elements, although it varies widely by region and sub-culture.

Individual types of Kinfolk are named after the animal they most resemble- for example, Rowan, one of the protagonists, is Eaglefolk. Kinfolk can also have mixed animal features, depending on their parents. (Kai, the heir to the Kinfolk throne, is both Elkfolk and Crowfolk.)

Some Kinfolk have different dietary restrictions depending on individual species biology, but as a general rule it’s considered strange and taboo to consume meat from the same species that one shares features with.

Kinfolk rule is technically a monarchy, although due to the widespread nature of their settlements, most of them simply govern for themselves by way of varying local law, with a large portion of the official ruling aspect being contained within the capital city and surrounding area itself.

The Uacai, by nature, make their homes around bodies of water. There are two subspecies of Uacai: western Uacai, who live farther inland, around lakes and swamps, and eastern Uacai, who live closer to the rocky ocean coasts. Uacai culture is largely based on ancient Japan; some south-east Asian influences are present in parts of eastern/coast Uacai culture.

Western Uacai are typically smaller in stature and have green-blue blood, whereas eastern Uacai are commonly taller, and have a much cooler blue blood.

The Uacai rule is also a strict monarchy, with emperors and empresses being chosen by bloodline.

Draakani have the smallest population of the three mortal species- they can be found almost exclusively in Aurum Desert, and as a society, while not xenophobic, they’re very closed-off and knit close together; they value family and community. They’re typically the tallest out of the three species, and their horns and scales come in a variety of appearances. Their culture is based on a mix of ancient Greco-Roman and Egyptian culture.

In contrast to the Uacai, short, intricately styled hair is considered a sign of status to the Draakani- it shows that the Draakani in question has the means and time to have it styled and trimmed regularly.

Draakani rule is a democracy- each emperor is allowed to spend a maximum of ten years in rule before the people must hold a public vote to replace them.

OTHER ANIMALS

In addition to the sentient species, Terra is also populated by a generous mix of fantasy and real-world animals.

Riding drakes are used alongside horses as common mounts, and aside from fire, a common source of lighting are Flickerbugs, which are small naturally glowing bugs that people keep in jars or lanterns. Flickerbugs can also be bred for profit and some make a living by selling colonies of them.

Giant, rune-patterned whales float among the clouds, and pterodactyl-like sea beasts can often be seen hunting fish along the coasts. Unicorns make their homes in deep pine-forests in the southwest.

Coyotes and lindwurms scrap for carrion meat in the baking heat of the mesa, and enormous, coal-black birds cut through swirling stormclouds, dodging lightning bolts to swoop down and catch their prey in razor-sharp talons.

MAGIC

Higher magic is powerful elemental magic drawn from within the user’s innate well of magical energy, and can take almost any form. It takes up energy to use, and while the well of energy doesn’t necessarily have a hard cap, it does have relative limits and using up too much at a time will lead to exhaustion. Similarly to physical stamina, personal magic is slowly restored back to full over time as the user rests and recovers.

Lower magic can be used by anyone, and uses energy drawn from one’s surroundings- charged crystals, herbs, potions, and runes or sigils are all common aspects of lower magic.

The runes are primarily made up of a fairly standard set, called the Runic Alphabet-- they’re consistent throughout the mortal cultures, even before they had much ongoing contact, and can be found on ruins and structures scattered throughout Terra, as though carved from the stone by some ancient, unknown sculptor. It’s commonly believed that the runic alphabet was given to the mortals by the gods, due to their striking consistency across unrelated civilizations and cultures.

This runic alphabet is also present in the natural patterning of some animal species- a link can be drawn between the presence of these runes and a heightened amount of magical energy present in the creatures. How this correlation works or where it came from is unknown.

LOCATIONS

The continent, and world at whole, that Strange Trails is set in is called Terra-- a sprawling supercontinent made up of diverse environmental biomes. For lack of a better method, This list will go over notable areas and then locations within them from left to right.

AURUM DESERT

Of the two deserts in Terra, Aurum Desert is by far the more barren- rolling, uniform dunes stretch on with seemingly no end, and hard-shelled centipedes the size of houses slither through the sand as if it were water.

Aizri, the Draakani capital city, sits along the river that runs through Aurum Desert-- a sprawling collection of carved, pillared buildings, with colorful market stalls and tapestries blowing in the wind off the West-Sea dotted throughout. The city itself is walled and closed off from outsiders, a relic of plague-times past.

In the shifting sea of dunes can be found the half-buried remnants of enormous, cracking statues, of old Draakani heroes and of things much bigger and older than them.

Along the edge of the desert lies a ridge of mountains, almost impossible to pass on foot bar for two spots: the river, which runs through the hills and drains into the Cloud Lake, and the Mountain Pass, which consists of a treacherous, winding staircase that leads to a small stone plateau, upon which rests an intricately-carved, looming statue of Khel-Sarath, a warning message inscribed in the stone base below them to any leaving or entering Their golden domain.

RAMSKIN FOREST

Ramskin forest is, well, big-- the trees only get wider and taller the farther one goes, their canopies shutting out more and more light from above; travelers tell tales of unicorns three times the size of the tallest elk, their hides heavy with moss, swirling with strange symbols.

The forest is not a true wetland, but the smell of mud and rain clings to the ground like a vice. Scattered ruins of ancient outposts can be found scattered among the trees.

Deep, deep in the forest, if one is so lucky, can be found the Burial Shrine, considered a holy ground by those who are followers of Aeon. An overgrown mound of moss and dirt and vines grown in the shape of runes, most who dare to venture in and pay their respects return changed-- or don’t return at all.

Down by the South-Sea, the trees splinter off into the Coast-Woods, a rocky place filled with crumbling cliffs and sea-spray. It’s considered by some to be the more treacherous, less appealing sibling to the idealistic seaside cliffs of the North-Shore.

ROSEWOOD FOREST

In stark contrast to its southern neighbor, Rosewood Forest is positively pleasant-- oaks and other deciduous trees scatter the ground, letting sunlight dapple to the shrubs and grass. One is never far from some kind of traveler’s trail, and small ponds spot the terrain.

There are several small settlements in this forest, but Mossfield is the largest, and the best-known. It houses one of Terra’s train stations, a deceptively busy hub of import and export for such a small town that runs both up through north Windemere to the Kingsbasin and down south, around the reaches of the Cloud Lake to Minatori.

North-east of Rosewood are the Flower Fields, idealistic little bursts of color that stretch all the way up to the edges of the mountain-ridge that separates Aurum Desert from the rest of the continent.

NORTH-WOODS

The third component of the west band of forests, the Pine Forest in the north is also, by general standards, the least remarkable. Small towns and homesteads dot the land, and some make a living as fishmongers on the East-Sea.

“East-Sea” is actually a misnomer-- it resides solidly in the northwest segment of Terra. The name was given to it by explorers a long, long time ago, who were presumptuous to assume that the land didn’t go very much farther east.

ARROW VALLEY

A little farming valley-town on the west end of Archcliff, Terra’s southernmost mountain range. It’s protected from the cold southern wind by the high hills surrounding it, and supports a modest export of grains and livestock.

On the other side of Archcliff is Garen’s Falls, a peaceful town cantilevered up between the rushing waterfalls; equally ideal to Arrow Valley for those who prefer a wetter environment.

CLOUD LAKE

The Cloud Lake, its gently-swirling waters permanently covered in a fine layer of mist, is home to Minatori, the Uacai capitol. The lake-city stretches above and around the water on a network of intricately constructed wooden bridges and platforms; some floating, some propped up on wide-reaching tree roots.

East of the Cloud Lake is the Swamplands, a shallow stretch of wetland home to many smaller Uacai towns and settlements.

WINDEMERE

Windemere is thought of as the most treacherous of Terra’s mountain ranges. Freezing winds howl year-round through the snow-covered peaks.

Silra is one of Terra’s most lucrative ore exports-- the mining town is perched on the east end of the mountain-range, where the conditions aren’t quite so treacherous as to make it unlivable.

Boneshackle Pass, however, is well-known for the regular disappearances that happen there. It’s said that even cargo trains have been known to seemingly vanish into thin air, never to be seen again...

KINGSBASIN

Kingsbasin is near-permanently shrouded in a layer of fog, spilling over the rim of the valley like some vast leviathan’s cooking-pot. The gigantic dark-metal gates are open to travelers; though closed for a generation during the time of the plagues, they were opened again long ago. Alas, trepidation remains among the populace and few are brave enough to venture through.

Inside of the basin sprawls the Kinfolk capitol, called the Grey City-- in the modern day, a half-successful hub of merchants and trade, lucrative for anyone with enough wit and some good rain-proofing!

PEAK OF WORLDS

The highest and largest mountain in all Terra, the Peak of Worlds is the one and only home of the Dragons-- tiered, arching white marble makes up their homes and streets. Fountains and gilded statues dot the higher-up settlements, and gigantic halls with more than enough space to fit their glorious true forms.

At the very top of the Peak resides the Sun Palace, its intricate gilded details and crown-like spiked ramparts making it immediately recognisable as a monument of great wealth. In the central courtyard of the palace is a memorial fountain, dedicated to an unnamed Hireath who died there long ago.

To the west of the mountain, in the foothills of the North Forest, lies a series of crumbling, abandoned ruins. The dragons are forbidden from speaking of what happened there, by order of their King.

STORMFIELDS

The Stormfields are near-barren, home only to shifting grasses and the occasional patch of wind-whipped trees. Tornadoes form there with alarming frequency.

It’s said that if one stares into the permanent cloud-cover long enough, sometimes, the enormous silhouette of a raven can be seen, cutting through the wind. This is Okirrel, the sightless, voiceless god of the Stormfields.

SOLIS DESERT

Unlike its western counterpart, Solis Desert is characterized by extensive flatlands. Freshwater rivers trickle between mesa cliffs, and huge, layered rocks float weightlessly above the sun-parched ground, strange symbols carved into their sides. The guardian of this region is Kedonis, a three-legged, three-eyed jackal.

Far east in the desert lies Ruby’s Ridge, a small, dust-covered town full of cowboys and saloons. Well, just one saloon. And a church. It's a very small town. Plenty of cowboys, though.

NORTH-SHORE

The North-Shore is one of the more peaceful parts of Terra, provided one enjoys the sight of the ocean and a cold, salty breeze.

Willowdale is a peaceful, sunlit coast town, if a bit plain. Hurricane Harbor is a little more interesting, but keep a close eye on your valuables-- it’s a hotspot for theft and smuggling.

The lighthouse is a beacon for returning ships, explorers and merchants from faraway lands.

About Sonic Franchise... what would I do? 1#

Hello, have you ever imagined what would you do if you where in a position of a company because you wanted to change something that they originally did but it was so bad? Well, today (or everyday), I will talk about what would I do if I was the owner of the entire Sonic franchise and if SEGA gave me full freedom of what I could do as an average Sonic enjoyer. 1. Rewrite with more consistence

It's kind of simple thing actually, if we compare the IDW with Sonic Universe, we can see that the stories made in Archie Comics was more... developed? Like, we had a lot of cool characters and stuff and we had a good story (The ones directed by Ian Flynn, of course.). Mobius will be Terra (Earth) but in 299 years in the future, and the term humans will be changed to overlander, you know the old story created by Archie, right? I will just make an adaptation, I don't even know if I could use the term overlanders to mention the humans, if I cannot use it then the name would be tumans, the "t" is from Terra.

2. Characters

I would need to talk with Ian Flynn about bringing his old characters, like Eclipse the Darkling, yes, Shadow's brother, we had an good story with him but it didn't had a continuation. And I would also need to talk with... ugh... Ken Penders... because he is owner of a lot of important characters, like: Scourge, Lara-su, Julies-su, Sonic's parents, Mammoth Moul, Sally's family and many others. And of course, the IDW characters will continue to exist and everyone working on this work can create new characters. I'm thinking about giving Cream brothers... if not, give a reason for why she is the only daughter, yes, I like to create dark backstories.

3. Fan-Characters

Since I really liked the community (the good part of it, at least), I would talk with a lot of creators, about me, giving a payment for them, that could give me the permission to make a lot of specials ACTs about their characters, why would I do that? Because good references is not enough and it would be a form of thank you for being part of the community, of course, not everyone would had their special comic, but at least have a camera or apparition in a square of a comic. But the highest apparition of them would be in a remake of Sonic Forces, why? Because the game has the custom character creation, and many OCs appeared from there, also, I think the game was supposed to be a certain alliance between company and clients. And also characters that was a beta version of other characters, like Terios, Umbra, Venice and the beta version of Blaze, Sonic, Rouge and also, cancelled characters like Tiara, Null, Metal Shadow and Inigo. 4. Consistence

Let's use an example, Shadow the Hedgehog, in the old comics, he was very different than today (IDW), he worked for G.U.N, made a overlander (human) friend called Hope than reminds him of Maria, he wasn't so cold and impatient, he also had a respect for Sonic. Today, on the IDW... he's sucks... yeah. I mean, in Sonic Forces, he killed the Jackal Squad, yes, he killed, that was confirmed by Ian Flynn, the problem is that he wasn't supposed to kill when his motivations is being led by Maria's wish about giving them a chance and... I forgot what she told him... but anyways, you get the idea.

5. Character rules

In the IDW there is a lot of those stupid rules... Sonic cannot cry, I mean, it would be nice, c'mon. Mobius, mobian and G.U.N cannot be mentioned and OH MA GA, money doesn't exist. In this Ultimate Rewrite of mine, those rules will be burned. Shadow won't be a complete jerk, there will be money, Mobius is where everything happens and most importantly, everyone will get a parentship.

6. Family

Sonic had a lot of parents, yes... but when came the IDW, they got erased... so... this time, our blue blur will have parents, and this will be nice because, I already have a story involving his parents, Bernadette Hedgehog and Jules Hedgehog... and Aleena... yes, the very first (I think) mother of Sonic..., I will explain this thing in other post, for now, just be in alert. Tails also will have his parents (again), as for Amy and Knuc-... oh yes... I forgot about the "last of the echidna" thing... but you guys get the idea. 7. Relationships

People that know me would say "Oh let me guess, you will make Sonadow a cannon?" HAHAHA no... as much as I would like... no, because after some time, I see that Sonic loves everyone but not to the point of being in a romantic relationship, but, to make everyone happy, there will be an ACT where Sonic or someone else from his gang, would travel to other realities, and one of those realities, the Sonadow thing is real or Sonamy or many others, I want to make a lot of references that the fans made, like Sonic.exe, Sonic: The murder of me, and a lot of other kind of realities... oh, Amy and Shadow will propose to Sonic, but he will reject in the canon, but be glad that there will be those ACTs. As for other ships... Rouge and Knuckles will be a thing, but after... what? 40 Comics? Who knows? In the end, they will be a couple. And there is the ship between Silver and Espio... I think it's cute to happen, and it would be perfect! I mean... Silver, technically, shouldn't create any kind of relationship or else it would create a paradox... man... I have a great idea to the future so they could be a couple. About Blaze... she is more like a old sister to Silver, like Rouge is to Shadow, so no romance between them! Vector and Vanilla will have their developments to be a couple. Gadget and Zero... I mean, why not? I just need a perfect story to make more sense. And yes, Gadget will be canon, between all the custom characters, he will receive more focus. 8. Custom Characters

Do you guys remember of the promotional characters of Sonic Forces? Well, they will exist and I will create (or help to create) a story for each one of them or just a tip of what they were, who they are and why they fight... and like I said before, Gadget will have more focus.

The Blue agaisnt the White

It had been 30 years since Akhenaten had last been in this little town at the foot of the Ashen mountains. Back in the day, the town had resonated with the sounds merriment from its inhabitants. That was the reason Akhenaten liked the visit. She could always sell her wares and exchange stories. It helped her forget her problems, even if it was for a little time. Sometimes, she would stay to help the townspeople with constructions proyects. The town hall and the farmer's market were two of them. She vividly remembered how grateful the people had been for her aid. But now nothing remained of what this place had once been. An epidemic had killed the entire population ten years after had abandoned her life as a woodswitch to join the Celestial Geists.

It was only when 5 years later when she asked a hunter how was one of her town friends doing that the woman revealed he'd been dead for a long time. The news fell on her like a bucket of cold water. The last time she'd seen Marcus he'd been happy and full of life. The fact that he now rested at the bottom of a grave felt like a gut punch. Later, when the sorceress returned to her living quarters aboard the Ashen Victory, she cried for him on the kitchen floor.

Visiting Rose's Hope was something she'd put off for a long time. There always was an excuse. "I cannot go, we need to put down a Khrave infestation.", "One of our mares is heavily pregnant and due to give birth at any moment.", "I have to review a stack of paperwork." and so on and so forth. The truth was she didn't want to feel the pain that come from seeing the town she'd loved now eaten away by time and dust.

But the moment came when she ran out of excuses. The lingering feeling of having unfinished business had kept her up at night for a week until she decided enough was enough. And so one autumn morning she'd packed up her things and left after telling her warband companions she needed to travel to the Ashen Mountains for ritual ingredients. The High King accepted her request, but told her not to wander too close to Rose's Hope, for that place was "haunted by the ghosts of the dead."

Akhenaten felt bad for lying to him, but convinced herself it was a big deal. After all, what the High King didn't know couldn't hurt him. The first thing the sorceress did upon arriving to the town was to look for unburied remains. Though the old Thousand Sons had long burned to ash, she still retained the practices of the Order of the Jackal. Taking care of the dead had been one of her duties. The astartes found some skeletons inside of the houses near the town square. Apparently, they belonged to the last people who'd died in the epidemic. She felt bad knowing they'd perished with no one to bury them. So she broke into the houses one by one, and removed the dead.

The town cemetery had long since filled from the sheer amount of dead from the epidemic. But since no one remained, there wasn't anyone who would complain about Akhenaten expanding the graveyard. A nice spot beneath an oak tree was the place she chose as the deceaseds' final resting place. Digging into the bare ground with bare hands was no big deal to her. After all, she was an astartes. As she performed her task, the sorceress' thoughts went to the dead she'd found. She wondered about what kind of people they'd been in life. Were they the friends she would often share a coffee with during the lazy afternoons of summer months? The thought made her shiver. It wouldn't be the first time she'd buried a loved one.

Tears ran down her face as she remembered the tragedies she'd suffered through her long life. From the Burning of Prospero, through the Horus Heresy to the Siege of Terra and beyond.

Once the graves had been dug; she gently put the skeletons in each one. If there was an afterlife, Akhenaten hoped they would find peace in it. Through the whole process she sang the traditional dirges the Order of the Jackal performed when they laid the Thousand Sons' dead to rest. Even though they were not her kin, she still wanted them to pass easily into the afterlife. They deserved that much.

The grey clouds that formed above the astartes mirrored her mood. Akhenaten feared having returned to this place would sink her once more into the deep hole of depression. The things she'd done out of despair were among her deepest regrets. And the biggest one was throwing every single precaution she'd been taught about the use psychic powers in a fight she was sure would not survive.

Akhenaten opened her eyes. She didn't remember having closed them. Had she gotten too lost in her memories that she had disconnected from the real world? As she rised her hand to wipe the sweat from her brow; the telltale signs of the flesh appeared before her sight. Twisted, monstrous. Over a hundred years and she still could not bear looking at herself in the mirror.

She'd been lucky there was no one to witness the failure of the glamour. Unfortunately, other people were not as accepting as the Celestial Geists or her old coven. Perhaps it would be worth it to research how to put glamour spells into objects. One of her old necklaces might work.

The sorceress shook her head to ground herself in the moment. She could not afford to dawdle. There was still work to do. Half of the dead were still unburried.

One hour later the last of the dead had been buried. Akhenaten dusted her hands and returned to the town. As she walked through its empty streets she noticed the signs of decay. Many buildings had either missing or damaged roofs, broken windows, cracks on the on the walls and humidity damage. Sometimes; the smell of animals like mice and bats would reach her nostrils. It made her sad that no one had been around to take care of the town for such a long time. She really wanted to leave behind this place and its sorrow, but there was one last thing she had to do.

In the center of the farmers' market was a statue honoring the town's founders. That was the place she chose to lay offerings for the dead. Bread, milk, honey, incense and flowers were the things she'd carried from her home for such purpose. For her last farewell Akhenaten made a toast with water from a sacred spring to the departed. It hurt, but she needed to let them go. To be able to say goodbye is to grow.

Carnivores of Ouganda a bit less mysterious?

Sustainable management and survey of carnivore populations are one of the main activities in current zoology. Terra Reserves could be a potentially new association for conserving wild places and dwellers that haunts these areas. We hypothetically travel to little explored regions of East Africa, covered mainly with protected areas of tropical forests, known as Murchison-Semliki Landscape. Another information is needed from other parts of the country. There are recommendations for census of carnivores in Lake Wamala region (wetlands) and Entebbe Wildlife Sanctuary (wooded savannas) of Central Ouganda. Partnership in ad hoc projects is a panacea for long-term research.

As for ecosystem of Ouganda, of the species of large carnivores are spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta) and wild dog (Lycaon pictus) as well as medium-size carnivores known for this part of the continent, namely, ratel (Mellivora capensis), spotted-necked otter (Hydrictis maculicollis), serval (Leptailurus serval), side-striped jackal (Canis adustus) and african civet (Civettictis civetta). Those creatures should be studied in the name of conservation in the region called western and central part of Ouganda. Cage traps and leg-hold traps, as well as scent baiting could be used for catching wild beasts alive for telemetry study. Other stuff or methods such as camera traps and scat samples could be used for estimating diet, presence-absence and occupancy modeling and other issues. As for paraphrase, it is a new non-equilibrium paradigm for understanding and managing carnivore fauna of Ouganda.
