Pokemon Au: What if Saffron has a team of rare pokemon even though she not a battler? She doesn't get mythical or legendary Pokemon but stuff like Volcarona, Zoroark, Glimmora, Three-segment Dudusprace, and/or Absol for examples.
"I'm back!" Terra walked in from the kitchen, smiling at her returning wife. "Did you miss me?" Saphron grunted as she was tackled by her wife, hugging and kissing her as she was hugged and kissed.
"How was work?" Terra asked.
"You mean my week of sitting around and having my team take out any Grimm that was dumb enough to get close?"
"Sounds like you had fun."
"Not really." Saphron took off her coat, hanging it by the door. "If anything, the only good thing about this job is keeping you and Adrian safe... Well, that, and the lien that I get paid."
"Well, huntress reserves aside, Adrian and Stuffy have been itching to see you again."
"Oh, yeah?" Saphron chuckled. "And where are those two hiding?"
Suddenly, Saphron was on the floor, crushed by the combined weight of her 30-pound son, Adrian, and his 134-pound Stoutland best friend, Stuffy. Adrian carefully slid off from Stuffy, giving his mommy hugs and kisses while the Big-Hearted Pokémon lapped at where Adrian hadn't kissed her. Tugging Adrian away, Stuffy sat with fluffy butt wagging as Saphron stood to her feet, wiping her face.
"I'll be honest, that's a new one." Terra giggled as her wife groaned.
"Well, there's some other good news you might be interested in." Terra said, notably hiding something behind her back. "How would you like to go visit your brother?"

I love playing Pokémon S/V trying to find allies to fight a flying terra pokémon that's normally ground.
"Imma bring my electric.." its weak to ground.
"Rock is good" Weak to ground.
"Iron hands beats everything" its gonna get oneshot because you're gonna cut its HP in half causing it to die to the first earthquake!

Round 1: Match 12
"Two Sides of the Same Coin"- Two things that are regarded as part of the same thing. Even if they're very different, they have at least one common thread that helps them fit into this trope.
Propaganda (under the cut):
Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson:
"Matt Murdock sees himself as the Devil, for fighting to keep his city safe. Foggy Nelson has made it his life's work to remind him that that is not true, and remain by his side, no matter how dangerous things get. However you see their relationship, they are the absolute epitome of soulmates in every way!"
Lin Paraeah and Terra Pierce:
"Spoilers for literally the entire plot of Pokemon Reborn!
Terra is a loud, boisterous women who beats up stuff with a massive hammer and shouts memes like a sparkledog. She doesn't use normal grammar, instead speaking in caps, and occasionally with numbers if she's in a computer. She knows the truth of her world and decided to become a lion tamer. If nothing matters, why not have fun with it?
Lin is a quieter girl who likes manipulating the shit out of people for fun. She's incredibly sarcastic, and speaks in mostly all lowercase. She got trapped in a time loop-ish situation and decided to raise a baby god. If nothing matters, she's going to have fun with it.
Lin is the one who showed Terra the truth. They were on each other's side when no one else was. They're sisters. They love each other deeply."

If anyone's having trouble with Iron Leaves, I've found this Scizor build worked for soloing on my first try with it.
I started with Iron Defense, took three turns to max out my attack with Swords Dance, then boosted critical hit chance with Focus Energy. By then the NPCs had been able to chip enough health away that a single X-Scissor was enough to finish it off.
The main reason I chose Scizor was because of its Bug/Steel typing, which is currently only shared with Forretress. Steel already resists all three attacks (Psyblade, Leaf Blade, and Megahorn) and Bug not only adds super effective STAB, but also makes grass a 1/4 resistance without neutralizing any others.

I just need to talk to whoever has been telling people to use Slobro for terra raids. Six turns of set-up only to get your stat changes nullified? AND THEN YOU START OVER?? You’re lucky if they decide to attack a single time.
