Mituna/Kankri is not good. Latula/Mituna/Kankri is even fucking worse. By, like, a significant margin. It was already on a list for me on the basis of it being a ship involving Kankri, but the context behind that setup just makes everything so much worse, and I really despise the stint of popularity it had. Just... Eugh. You could not waterboard me to make content of that one.

Mituna/Kurloz also isn't in my favor, but that's just because a lot of people make it out to be significantly more wholesome than it is. I care substantially less about that one. It's a case where I think the lore behind them is interesting, but most everyone else kinda just wants fluff, and that's... Not at all my vision, nor is it my tastes. Doesn't feel right.

holy cow. holy crap. CroTuna. The ship that overall dominates my ao3 tag. Can’t read anything about me without it being there. Let’s discuss it. From my point of view.

One: my canon interactions with Cronus.

all of them are negative. he starts by touching me when i do not want to be touched. “Oh but it was just your shoulder-" SHUT UP. SHUT UP FOREVER. IT DOES NOT MATTER. I LITERALLY SAID “1 D0N7 W4N7 Y0UR H4ND 7H3R3”. I DONT WANT. YOUR HAND THERE. VERY CLEAR NO NO MATTER HERE THE HAND IS. I say it again, “1 W4N7 7H47 Y0UR H4ND 70 N07 83 0N MY 80DY PL3453” AND I AM IGNORED. During this conversation, i am also told that my matesprit is “just in a totally different league”. Wonder how that would make me feel. Not to mention the blatant ableism prevalent throughout PRETTY MUCH EVERY INTERACTION???? Also, crazy how when Cronus’s feelings get hurt, Kankri steps on in. When Cronus is insulting ME however, radio silence from him. Huh. Weird.

Two: Cronus’s interactions with others. These are, surprise surprise, also kinda creepy. To sum it up cause this isn’t the main focus, and there’s a whole nother post by a different person that sums it up very well that ill reblog this with once im done complaining, hes a Nice Guy (tm). A Reddit r/niceguys if that’s not clear. Not a great person to be around.

Three: How does this affect you though, Mituna?

After all, i shouldn’t be so attached to my kintype after all. It’s just a version of myself after all. SHUT UP ONCE AGAIN!!!! that is me. I am fully and completely Mituna. So seeing art and fanfic of me with a person i do not get along with and have had a not so great interaction with in a RED AND OR PALE SHIP???? Not great. Even in kismesis, i find it uncomfortable. If he’s pushing boundaries with shoulder touching, what other boundaries could he push.

Four: “Ii can write/ draw whatever i want!”

Yeah. I’m not stopping you. Just this isn’t a “stop Crotuna or be killed with hammers” post, its a “Crotuna makes be deeply uncomfortable, as i am a person who’s had many negative experiences with who you’re shipping me with” post. At LEAST tag your Crotuna with # not fictionkin(d) safe, or # not fictionkin(d) friendly. For me. Please.

Five: We exist, and we want to be seen.

this is about the speciesqueer community as a whole. Us fictionkin(d) are here, we exist, and we want to be acknowledged and respected and accepted and not made to feel lonely and outcast in our own communities. We want to be recognized as WHO WE ARE, not “who we think we are”, WHO WE ARE. <3
