eichi found your energetic demeanor kinda weird at first. not exactly weird,, he was just slightly surprised at how joyful you are but this didn't take long. he actually liked it. he enjoyed your presence and you made him genuinely happy with your lively and social personality.

there were things he didn't expect though... eichi felt truly nervous when you first got quiet all of a sudden. he asked "what happened, dear?" , "is everything okay?" and all kinds of questions though the only response he got was the strange look on your face-

you told him that nothing was wrong, and this was just how you were feeling at the moment because you got a little exhausted. after some time, he noticed that this happens occasionally and he began to understand your feelings better.

he was actually pleased with this whole thing. since eichi gets tired very fast he doesn't have the energy as much as you do and it's sometimes difficult for him to keep up with.

eichi loves watching you as you sit quietly and do your own thing. he thinks you look inceredibly pretty when you're calm like that. though he adores your cute energetic mood as well.

Rei’s affection levels depend on his mood. He tends to be more touchy when he’s tired, and it manifests itself as a sort of clinginess. He barely goes a few minutes without touching you. Simple things, like hands linked under the table–trying to be as unobtrusive as possible despite everyone being able to tell–or forehead kisses. If he’s feeling especially drained, he’ll simply slump over your back and bury his face into your neck as he tells you he’s recharging. He’s also not opposed to flustering you, so do expect the occasional compliment or a dramatic bow and a kiss placed on the back of your hand, much like how a gallant prince would.

Eichi is quite affectionate, though it’s more so with words rather than actions. He’s more likely to compliment you, with lines that seem casual but he actually put a lot of thought into. Cute little quips that make you smile: You look absolutely radiant today, my love. Nonetheless, when he wants your touch, he craves it. He’s not overly clingy per se, but he does toe the line. It’s the sort of touch–where he winds an arm around your waist or stands close enough that your arms brush against each other–that’s close, enough so people can tell there’s something going on between you two but not so close that it seems inherently romantic to anyone watching.

Rei’s a hard person to make jealous. You’d have to do something specific–like blow him off for someone else multiple times in a row– to get him to realise exactly what that sour feeling in his stomach is and what it means. And even then, his jealousy is low-key which makes it harder to find out. He simply gets more tenacious when it comes to showing you affection–essentially staking a claim, in basic terms. One easy way to tell is when his touches come with increased frequency, and his usage of pet names become slightly more obvious. He’s telling the person whom he deems a threat to your affections to back off, just without saying it.

Eichi, however, is the opposite. He gets jealous easily, and is very open about it. It’s easy to tell–he starts using casually possessive vocabulary, such as my, when referring to you. My dear Y/N, he says, or my lovely Y/N, a silent warning that you are taken. Eichi’s already a touchy-feely person, so for him jealousy is just an excuse to initiate more touch, on the pretext of wanting to let others know that you’re no longer on the market. Surprise hugs from behind, kisses to your neck and shoulder–all things a boyfriend would do, and it’s like he’s flaunting it. And when you reciprocate, Eichi sports a devious smile and goes back to pampering you.

Rei tries not to be overly protective, despite it going against his basic instincts. He doesn’t want you to feel like he’s smothering you, so he attempts to tone it down. However, he’s not above using anything and everything at his disposal to keep you safe. The second you’re uncomfortable or overwhelmed, Rei is there. Keeping an eye out for you is simply second nature to him. Rei is used to being the protector. Still, I feel he’d like to be the one being protected for once. By this I simply mean three words: Rei little spoon. He likes being held in your embrace, your body curved around his, and finds it easier to relax knowing that you’re there to watch out for him.

Eichi is similarly protective, but only in specific situations. He prefers to stay in the background, only stepping in when he feels like it’s necessary. If the situation is getting to be too much for you, you can rest assured that he will be there to take over from where you left off. The minute you show signs of getting nervous, or overwhelmed, he’s stepping in. Diplomatically, he steers the topic away from what made you uncomfortable, with a practised ease. Nevertheless, Eichi is also one to want you to watch out for him, the same way he does for you. He’s so used to looking behind, waiting for the inevitable knife in his back, but with you standing behind him, he doesn’t fear looking forward so much.

It was a good day, perfect weather, and people are happily going about their day

As a performer it’s only natural for Wataru to perform

So, he did

Being the magical man he is, he quickly gathered a crowd. But his attention wasn’t on the crowd but instead someone in the background who’s sadly scrolling through their phone

Wataru was fascinated. No. Wataru was enchanted, captured, smitten on how someone can look so beautiful/handsome without any effort let alone while being sad with crystal like tears about to escape

As a performer, his job is to make other people happy and since he can clearly see someone is unhappy it wouldn’t be right to simply leave them alone, right?

Not even the walk back to the dorms could be peaceful when you were with Eichi, could it? He simply had to make things more entertaining for himself. Oh, you wished Wataru were here. At least he could keep Eichi in line. Usually. Except when he was enabling him.

"Look, look. We have to take advantage of the snow."

And so here you were, with Eichi flopped down into freshly fallen snow.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm a snow angel…♪"

"You're going to catch a cold," You admonish as you look down at him. Unfortunately, you didn't sound nearly as scolding as you wanted to; he really did look cute when he started acting so childish. It was such a stark contrast to how he behaved at work or on stage. He really did look like some sort of angel.

"You're no fun~"

"Is it going to be fun for you when you get sick?"

"Well, I'll simply make you nurse me back to health."

"That's not how this works-"

He took the opportunity to cut you off, a quick hand darting out to grab yours and drag you right down with him. On top of him, rather, free hand catching yourself before you ended up crashing together. Eichi tilted his head, eyes glinting teasingly. "That was meant to end in a kiss, you know. "Keeping us both from getting a concussion from our heads bonking together, more like…" You huffed out, breath clouding with his in the chilly air. "You're very troublesome."

"Now you sound like Keito… You say it as if you don't enjoy it when I'm troublesome. I, for one, am having a great time~"

"Of course you are. Come on, we've got to get out of the snow."

"Hmm…" Eichi considered it for a long moment. "Give me a kiss and maybe I'll consider it."

Bribery, was it? You weren't above it. "Fine, then."

You leaned down to press a kiss to his lips, meaning for it to be quick, but soon found him deepening it. Eichi's stubbornness showed even here, as he didn't let you pull away until he was satisfied. Your cheeks were red from more than just the cold as you caught your breath. Eichi smiled.

"Well? Are we going to go inside now? You're the one who was so insistent on it, but I'm not against staying-"

"We are not staying out here! We are going inside and you are getting dried off before you land yourself in the hospital just because you decided to be too silly, and…" You continued ranting at him as you tugged him out of the snow and forced him to follow you to the dorms. He wasn't going to get out of trouble just because he was pretty!

Not that it was punishment for him at all, when all you did was sit him down with a blanket and tea.

Note: I am shitting tears writing this. I need my angst demons so bad for this. After hearing Eguchi's cover, this made me think of him singing this song and looked for the lyrics. Should I make a WataEi version of this? Hm... It's an absolute mess but EichiP's and fineP's, please prepare tissues for early preparations.

A script written by Wataru Hibiki, as what the author's name was written on the cover. He opened it and flipped the pages of the script he had on his hand. He cleared his throat and read a few lines.

"It's that time of the season again..." Eichi muttered as he gazed at the window from the music room of Ensemble Square. He could only reminisce the memory of the war, where he is the only witness of everything you were involved in.

"Summer finally arrived. The emperor sat on his new throne at his new kingdom."

"Summer finally arrived. He remembered that it was nearly summer when finally fell down from his own tyranny in the past year."

"Summer finally arrived..." He paused, and continued.

"And his memories haunted him— his memories of his past." From two years ago. He continued in his mind.

"Thus, a tale of the emperor and the lost has been uncovered and told! Let the curtains arise to reveal the truth!" He ended it quietly and read it silently as he let out a small chuckle. "Classic Wataru..."

What he didn't know that it was meant to be written for him, for the one who reigned till this day.

And the main reason you disappeared.

The memories of the war remained fresh and it made him unable to sleep on those nights. Even in the hospital, he became restless even if his body screamed and begged for him to sleep.

He is someone you knew in the hospital. You were there due to your chronic illness. You knew him because you met him there once. Your time is ticking to a stop soon but you tried to prevent it from stopping the hands of the clock. You aren't ready to leave.

"Eichi, are you really my friend?" You asked and chuckled in response.

"Yes, you’re my friend, so take my hand," Eichi said. But behind the true meaning of those words are: "Yes, you’re alone, you've got nowhere to go, do you?"

He remembered the time when the war is still there. He knew how broken you were when he knew you're attempting to meet your end.

He remembered that you're always alone.

"—But with things like this, we’re able to love each other." He thought of the words you once told him. Was it really love when he never felt such thing? Was your love between him one sided? Was this love fake? Yes.

Eichi remembered what he exactly had told Wataru about what happened to you back then when he is in the infirmary.

It repeats again;

A flashback, which Eichi clearly remembered. "The buzzing cicadas… And you, who will never come back." Eichi muttered.

He clenched his hand and held it closer to his chest, where his heart is. "Our matching keychains are being torn apart for all eternity." And he opened his hand, where it revealed two keychains, matched and meant to be paired for you and him.

He remembered the day when he saw your bag near the railway crossing. The keychain hanging on the sling of your bag and the colors faded. The cardigan and your uniform blazer placed on your bag, telling that you left it there on purpose.

"The girl with her pale white skin that the summer got rid of..." He broke down and shed tears. "I find myself wanting to be possessed by her so much it brings me to tears..."

My true nature starts to break loose at the start of September, marked by the ringing of chimes.

Eichi confessed everything what had happened. "A flower vase placed on the next target, and the one who started it..." He tried not to say it and failed to do so. "...was me"

"I never wanted to do it but instead, I still did. I know they hated me and will always hate me."

"It’s true, you’re to blame—" Wataru said and was followed by mere silence.

Eichi repeated his words whenever you looked down in the past. "Just look at me and me only."

"It’s true, you want someone to help you, don't you?" Is what he had told you back then. He indeed helped you to recover and became a student of Yumenosaki. He is the reason why you're alive.

But in the end, you're gone.

He remembered the day when you told him that you'll take him to see the ocean on the other side of the railway crossing. A change of scenery won't hurt, you say.

But you left before him.

He was too late to reach you. He ran towards the other side of the railway crossing and never cared if his illness attacks him like a predator. As he reached the shore, he saw your shoes close to the drifting waters of the sea. The footprints that was washed away by the waters were evident that you were gone for long.

"Going to the sea makes you feel alive. How about going there together. You'll love the water."

The sea took your life and you are gone forever.

I gently place a kiss on your drowning hands

He remembered how cold your hands are. And it was even colder after he found your cold body they fished out of the sea. He touched it carefully and held it gently.

He remembered how loud the alarm of the railway crossing is when it's faint to hear from the seashore, the constant buzzing of the cicadas, and the calm waves of the sea. He never cared about anything around him since all he could think is just you gone on that day.

Those faintly smiling beasts dig their nails into (you) until their hearts are refreshed, and now your skirt is uneven.

When he first saw you in a complete mess, you cowered yourself at the corner, like a cornered mouse. He knows that you were ruined by them, completely ruined by the system in life.

A scream that seemed as though it cut off the silence of summer echoes through the classroom, in the window was the first time he once heard from you before all of those traumatic incidents that made his heart beated rapidly that caused him to faint. And the last thing he saw before he fainted is the blue sky that you once loathed in the past.

"You're my friend..." Is the last words he had heard from you before you disappeared.

Your words that he vividly remembered, will always haunt him in his nightmares.

The ghost of his past showed up in his dreams and his reality. Whenever he walked at the halls of Yumenosaki, all he could see is you anywhere, haunting him. He felt safe in Ensemble Square but not for long. He will always be haunted at the sight of your gone like the wind.

That ghost, is you.

"Of course, you're my friend, so take my hand..." He remembered what he had told you and continued, "Of course, you’re gone, and I’ve got nowhere to go..."

You crossed the border between life and death— the world you called transparent over and over.

"If we were able to love each other in that transparent world—" Your voice remained in his memories. He, who know nothing about love always remembered these lingering lines of yours in his deepest memories.

Eichi knows the narrative lines will come to an end. And yet, he still read it.

He let out his hand and continued, "The words of the emperor repeated that the jester will remember for eternity; It repeats again;"

A flashback, which it deeply frightens him to the core.

The buzzing cicadas… And you, who will never come back

"The day the lost bade them their last untold farewell to the emperor was forgotten by all but remembered by him and him alone. The cicadas who deafened their farewell signed that they'll never return."

Our matching keychains are being torn apart for all eternity

"A piece remained in their own history remained intact yet broken. To which the emperor kept it safely in his hands."

"He lamented, "The girl with that pale white skin that the summer got rid of... I find myself wanting to be possessed by her so much it makes me sad..." and was never written in history for it was burned and left forgotten."

• mostly you two play multiplayer games together and get a teensy bit competitive . in the video game club of Course which means we get natsume to be the (totally unbiased) judge

• sora is realllyyy good at video games which means you frequently lose . this is why you have waged war on him

• little does he know you are plotting his Demise. his demise on little big planet or something

• days, nights, weeks, months you train to beat him. and you never do

• he keeps winning everytime and always acts so modest about it which is even WORSE!!! you can't even get mad when he’s so polite about beating you

• once sora notices your colour becoming more dull because of how demotivated you are he gets really worried (◞‸◟；) he loves playing games but loves spending time with you more…

• once you admit that you’re upset about being worse at games he thinks of a quick solution ! play games together instead of against each other and he can teach you all his tricks

• (natsume offers to help too but he's Not important and he is an asshole . Do not trust)

• so your weekly gaming tournaments basically turn into gaming dates ft thirdwheel natsume and sometimes tsumugi

i would have made a separate post for this but i feel like no one would read it so. i’m finally back after um. 10 months. i was super busy and kind of lost interest in enstars and other things so i pretty much abandoned this blog… BUT I HAVE RETURNED! i’m going to try posting every so often and interacting more with you guys on here ^_^ i cleared out my inbox (sorry to anyone who sent things in, it was cluttered and stressing me out haha) so feel free to send me any asks! i will NOT be opening specific requests, but you can feel free to send suggestions for prompts, scenarios or characters you want me to make headcanons for and i’ll try my best!! i also want to try out writing proper fics alongside the silly hc posts, but i might mostly post those on ao3, though i would like a nice balance between silly and serious(ish). i will also try writing for other fandoms like mhyk, twst and pjsekai since i am heavily in those as well but yeah!! my official comeback methinks. hope to chat more with everyone! ♡
