              “  I’m  flattered,  really.  Did  you  just  use  the  word  — ROMANTIC ?  ”    she  looked  at  him  confused.  Sure,  they  had  been  flirting  quite  some  time,  but  Allison  would  never  have  thought  that  he  was  truly  interested  in  her.  A  struggling  waitress  trying  to  get  somewhere,  LOST  in  the  world  and  alone.  Almost  nameless.  But  he’s  so  beautiful,  and  has  been  so  nice  to  her  /  it’s  not  like  she  deserves  it...   She  still  felt  compelled  to  accept   (  if  it  wasn’t  a  joke,  which  she  kinda  thought  it  was,  at  first.  )   She  rose  from  her  chair   where  she  was  taking  a  break  from  her  work,  facing  him  with  a  smile.  “  Yes,  why  not ?  Where  are  we  going ?  ”  she  answered,  big  smile  defining  her  face  while  she  fidgeted  with  her  fingers,  nervous.                  “  You’ll  have  to  wait  ‘till  I’m  done,  though.  ”  looking  at  her  watch,  she  noticed  there  were  only  ten  minutes  left  and  then  she  could  leave.  Luckily,  it  was  a  Monday.  They  closed  early  on  Mondays.  A  perfect  opportunity,  then.  [  There  can’t  be  anything,  there  won’t  be  anything.  You’re  not  good  enough,  anyways  ]
