      it wasn’t easy. she knew it wasn’t easy. he had to deal with his marriage. divorces were always messy. and this would be --- it would have ripples. there were more than just two people involved. there was his son. not to mention what would happen when the rest of his friends found out about them. she knew it was complicated. “by being here--- really? now my presence is alone is bothering you?” wow, she really knew how to pick ‘em. “i know it’s not easy ollie.” she glared at him. completely put off by his reaction. “but if you’re really so bothered, i know how to disappear. for good. makes it really easy on you.”

       he kissed her back. he actually kissed her back. she wasn’t expecting that. laurel wasn’t sure what she had been expecting, but it wasn’t that. when he did finally pull away she looked up at him, a slight grin on her features. she didn’t know why she did it. nostalgia maybe? taking down some local bad guys got her blood pumping? who knew. but there was something so perfect about it, about the moment. like she had been kissing her ollie. and in many ways, they were very similar. she licked at her lips, contemplating his question. “that was a kiss ollie.” she teased. “has it really been so long since you’ve had one?” her head tilted, a slight taunt to her words. she knew him and felicity weren’t doing great since he was released from prison. felicity had to do a lot of things oliver didn’t agree with, at least not for the girl he married. and felicity was bitter as hell for him giving himself up in the first place. made for an unhappy couple. laurel on the other hand, was who she was, and took what she wanted, and in that moment, she wanted to kiss oliver.
