For the longest moment Sarevok remains silent, giving her nothing in response other than a gaze filled with such contempt it says more than any words that will follow. But don't be mistaken - it's not the insult to his 'father' that births his ire; he, too, is not beyond slandering the dead god's name and spitting on his legacy now that it lies so far outside his reach that any dreams of achieving it feel like memories of another life entirely. (Not that he'd normally possess that in abundance.)

karlach is a reassuring figure to hang around. she’s not rude or overly intrusive, from everything mol’s seen of the older tiefling. “ if i wanted to steal him, i wouldn’t do it in front of you. “ she reasons, her voice a soft comparison to the sharp sound of a weapon getting sharpened. a familiar, piercing shriek she’s used to hearing by now, especially whenever she hangs around dammon’s forge long enough. scarlet eye watches karlach tend to the blade, her arms refusing to loosen around clive.

” i’m not taking him. feels like that might be rude, even if i don’t understand what the fuss is about. “ a lie clearer than the bright orange sunset overhead. she’s actually hugging clive, her chin settled upon his head, expression far from its usual smugness. still … getting called captain succeeds in fueling her ego, if only slightly. “ can i stay here for a bit ? zero stealing — i promise. “

What is it that you love most about writing Minthara? Is there something you enjoy more about writing a villain coded muse? What drew you to her?

What drew me to her essentially? Honestly I wasn't looking at first I was doing my first playthrough and when I first met her I remember getting so hopeful because she talked about helping you if you helped her, and I didn't know how much freedom I had in playing (you see I just finished Far Cry 5 which is a pretty straight forward cemented objective drive free roam game. You can free roam but the objectives never change.) So when the talking bear in the dungeons told me to kill the goblin leaders I sadly thought I had to. Then stopped playing for a few hours cause I was too sad about killing her, but she was always there at the back of my mind I think. (I actually started writing on @tenderhellfire first because @infernaliscor was still in denial). And then one day, I felt like she was just ... there.

But as I got more and more into her I realized she was like my last BIG big muse, so much like her in attitude, that it made sense to my friends that I would write Minthara. (Minthara is just Cersei Lannister but Drow.)

I do have a love hate relationship with calling her evil coded, even though she was expanded and intentionally made awesome to reward the evil path, you don't HAVE to be essentially evil to keep her on board because she supports your every move. HOWEVER with that said, I do enjoy blunt meaner characters, perhaps because I am asshole myself? I'm an Adult(tm) now, but eh.

What I do love writing about her.. God. Everything. But especially when her being MEAN. Like someone is rude to her so now the gloves are off, and she is dressing people down. But! I do love everything, I do. THIS IS A HARD QUESTION!!!

It’s a restless night in the camp, a huff of a breath escaping her chest as back leans against the nearby tree. Knee’s are hugged close to her chest, arms wrapped like a vice around them as nails threaten to draw blood with how deep they cling. 

Something deep within tells her the pain is familiar; a close friend even, yet she can’t even remember the origin. Seeing the other tieflings at the grove. . .

Gaze rises when she hears steps approaching in the dirt, soft smile rising at the familiar features of companion.

I remember that I had initially just joined the fandom to write with a friend. (I actually tried to do a Karlach first on @tenderhellfire) and initially hadn't met much of Karlach yet outside of what I had seen on tiktoks and youtube. But on my way to actually MEET her I met Minthara and actually fell for the character on the spot. I will forever remember my excitement when I learned that I could side with her (and wasn't aware that I actually could), and then followed immediately was my disappointment when I ended up killing her and stopped playing for an hour. Imagine my surprise, and quick abandonment of that good route, when I learned I actually COULD. And slowly I felt her forming in my head and before long - she was here, now look at us.

𝐑𝐏 𝐏𝐄𝐓 𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐒: of COURSE you'd call for Salt my friend, okay. I actually have a LOT of peeves when it comes to RP and I don't talk about them because well, what's the point, I don't let anything on this website affect my day and usually these days it takes a lot of build up before I finally say something. But. Here we go. I loathe the 'like this post if you want to stay mutuals.' sort of posts because I hold value in my following of a person, I don't need to prove that by liking a post. If I am valued the same way then I don't need a post to like that, and if you don't feel that, then that's peachy keen jellybean it was nice knowing you. I loathe the flipflopping that people have in understanding that not everyone has time to be on the internet 24/7, one moment it's understanding and the next people are complaining about lack of interactions from mutuals they haven't spoken with yet. When honestly, sometimes I'll reach right out to you and sometimes it will take months for me to properly be able to respond, there's no telling. If someone isn't comfortable with that, then that's fine! Just treat me with respect in the matter.

Also the guilt tripping. I won't take part in any of it, I refuse to. I wish I could just copy everything that @yuelun put down in her rp pet peeves because I agree wiht all of that. ALL OF IT. So just .. insert.. all of that here.

𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒: I'd just say angry. But according to my good and best friends it's a specific kind of anger, a specific kind of Femme Fatale. Which, Minthara a 100% falls into. I guess I could say that it's a Cersei Lannister type anger, (because again Minthara is just an elven Cersei), because the LAST big muse I had like this was Cersei Lannister. 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐒: I ADORE in depth plotting because I am so SO slow in terms of writing, this gives me a chance to develop AUs and verses and then get to writing when I can. However I also ADORE the shit out of memes. So please? Ice breaker with memes, and also plot with me heavily. 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒: both? Both is good. I adore having a mix of both.
