CONTESTANTS:

CIRCE: Immortal goddess, former stalker of his father, unsure why she was let into the competition, uneasy alliance between Ody and Circe, everyone’s a bit concerned as to how legally Circe was allowed to be here, but the producers said it would make good TV

CASSIPHONE: Circe’s adopted daughter who she found on the streets, unsure why she and her mom were allowed in, sweet girl and also feral, surprisingly indifferent about ending up with Telemachus, just here to be weird and have a good time 

NAUSICÅÅ Had a crush on his dad, signed up due to family resemblance, had a HUGE puppy crush on Telemachus that is basically based on how much he’s like his father, when she’s gently let down and friend zoned she actually gives herself and him the space to actually get to know each other, and they become quite good friends

POLYCASTE: Daughter of old family friend, don’t know each other too well, best friends with her brother, she’s a bit like hey this guy is cool and cute and all but i’m not sure i want to be in a relationship with him, her dad definitely signed her up for this, she’s honestly more of a wingman than a real contestant, more on that later

ANTINOUS: Previously competed on Penelope’s season which never made it on air, had had a discordant connection with Telemachus that some interpreted as homoerotic tension so the producers asked him back for Telemachus’ season, he’s as insufferable as ever,

PISISTRATUS: Wikipedia defines him as the “intimate friend of Telemachus.” They met previously and developed a close bond, neither wants to acknowledge that there might be anything more due to not wanting to harm the friendship, as such they often gravitate towards each other but it gets increasingly awkward, in a moment of sheer bravery Pisistratus signed himself up for the competition, a fact that Polycaste never lets him live down, sooooo many longing looks between him and Tele….yeah you can tell who’s winning this season

Telemachus introduces Pisistratus to Odysseus and Odysseus will side eye Penelope. She'll just nod and say "Diomedes" and Odysseus will have all the confirmation he needs

Telemachos and Peisistratos hcssss

Okay, I had to do a lot of research on this (because I could hardly find anything and had to dig deeper than I usually do while answering asks 💀), seeing that I'm not that into the epics, lol, but damnnn, these two have some chemistry!!

They have a really deep understanding of each other. Seeing that both their fathers left them when they were young to fight in the Trojan War, they both have this mutual understanding of how it felt when their dads left with the probability of them getting killed (and Pisistratus did lose his brother, so...).

In a romantic sense, if I were to view their relationship, it would be that Pisistratus fell first and Telemachus fell harder :3 (and that's why pookie assisted Telemachus because he a. wanted Telemachus to find his dad so that Telemachus would be happy and b. wanted to be closer to him. He's a little possessive this way). And not Telemachus calling Pisistratus the joy of his heart like-

Come on, they were married. They have to be. Idc what canon says. You can't convince me otherwise.

Also, I feel that Pisistratus would be more protective of Telemachus and never leave his side. Plus, he would get along very well with Odysseus (in a father-in-law and son-in-law kind of way).

And OMG, the scene where they sleep together on the bed?!?!?!??! Homer definitely knew what he was doing istg-

(atp I'm kind of mad that Pisistratus gets less screen/reading time in the epics like brooo the potential these two have 🤌🏾)
