Jotaro Kujo — kakyoin's amusement
cw: nothing rlly, jotaro kujo is bad at feelings tag
an: inspired by that tiktok audio of when he sees me lol
Always being on the move with barely any breaks and with enemies at every turn has left Kakyoin with little to no entertainment. Of course, he doesn't mind, even if he's already starting to miss his NES.
Fortunately for the red-head teenager, it seems that the Gods have heard his prayers and have blessed him with a new source of entertainment, exclusive front-row seats that only he is the audience of, said entertainment being the hidden feelings between you and Jotaro.
Well, it's not really hidden—you're both aware of your feelings, just not each other's. And being the only other teenager left, the two of you ran to Kakyoin to rant about your feelings.
And just the admissions alone was already absolutely amusing.
You were the first to admit your feelings.
It was still early on the journey, and Kakyoin was tasked to retrieve tickets with Jotaro, but he found that the teen had already gone on without him. Shrugging it off, Kakyoin opted to enjoy his stay and make the most of the hotel amenities instead.
He found himself in the pool area, and much to his surprise, he caught you in one of the beach chairs on the poolside. Feeling his eyes on you, you wave him over, and he approaches you to sit on the beach chair adjacent to yours.
It was quiet, and Kakyoin racked his brain for anything to say. Eventually, he opens up the conversation with one of the obscure facts he knows off the top of his head.
Thankfully, you responded in kind, and the conversation flowed easily from there. Your conversation bounced from one thing to another before eventually, the both of you settled in comfortable silence while laying back on your respective beach chairs.
It was a bit sudden for Kakyoin, but he'd be lying if he said he was surprised when you suddenly admitted it.
"I think I like him...." You spoke, suddenly breaking the silence between you and the red-headed teen. Kakyoin glances at you, and he can see you feeling a bit embarrassed to say it out loud.
"Hm..." Kakyoin hums in response before adding with a noticeable teasing lilt in his voice. "Who? Polnareff?"
"Yes, of course. Because I want a grown man." You respond sarcastically, rolling your eyes as you look at him, watching his lips turn up to an amused smirk. "I'm talking about Mr. Joestar, obviously."
"Right, my mistake." Kakyoin matched your energy, the both of you sharing a chuckle, before he turns to look at you, meeting your gaze.
"So, Jotaro, huh?"
Kakyoin's smirk widens at the sudden smitten look on your face just from the mention of the name, and he's 99% positive that you don't even realize it.
"Yeah..." You sigh, one that reminds him of a hopeless romantic protagonist of romcoms he's seen his parents watch before. "I mean, can you blame me? Going through all these troubles just for his mom? How he jumped to save that kid without hesitation? And that face of his isn't helping."
"Honestly? I can't say I'm surprised." Kakyoin responds to your small rant, his voice soft and comforting. He sees your lips part, looking at him in slight panic, and he cuts you off before you can even speak.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."
"Thanks, Kakyoin."
"Mhm. Thank you for trusting me with this."
On the other hand, it took Jotaro quite a while before he admitted it—both to himself and to his friend.
After a long day of fighting the menace that was Steely Dan and a long day of traveling, they ended up in another hotel. As usual, Jotaro and Kakyoin ended up sharing a room, and you ended up getting separated from them with your very own room.
It was a really long day for both teenagers; both were drained and worn out, with Kakyoin mentally exhausted from exerting the effort to manifest his stand in a much smaller form and Jotaro both mentally and physically drained after all the beating he took earlier in the day.
"I should've beaten him up more." Jotaro groans from his bed, making Kakyoin turn to look at him, a brow raised.
"Steely Dan? You ended up hating him that much?" Kakyoin responds before leaning on his elbows, still lying on the bed. "How bad are the things he did to you when we left you with him?"
"That's not the issue. I've already made him pay for what he did to me." Jotaro responds, before shooting up from his bed, removing his hat, and placing it on the shared nightstand between their beds, running a hand through his hair.
"But...." Jotaro trails off, and Kakyoin sits up on his bed as well, raising his brow even more.
Jotaro grumbled something under his breath, and Kakyoin could swear he heard your name amongst the words the other teen grumbled.
Kakyoin repeats your name, and Jotaro faces Kakyoin, his gaze hardened.
"What about them?" Kakyoin asks curiously.
"I can't easily forgive him for the shit he did to them."
Kakyoin is quite surprised by his words and how genuine they sound. His gaze darts to his friend's face, his scowl deeper than usual, a vein almost popping on his temple. Jotaro's exhaustion must be making him slip his composure, his emotions taking hold of his exhausted mind.
"What did he do?"
"He grabbed them. Right. in front. of. me." Jotaro scowls, his jaw clenched tightly. "Grabbed onto their arm so tightly like they were his."
Kakyoin blinks at that, his eyes widening slightly. No.. that expression on Jotaro's face.. it wasn't annoyance. Not completely...
"Held their chin to make them look at him. His face was so damn close to theirs, I would've punched him right then and there if it wasn't for the old man."
Definitely not annoyance. It's jealousy.
"I could feel Star Platinum just about ready to make him regret being born, and I had to actively hold him back." Jotaro finishes his mini-rant with a deep, annoyed sigh, his eyes darting over to look at Kakyoin.
It was Jotaro's turn to look confused at the amused grin on Kakyoin's face, a knowing look in his lavender gaze, making Jotaro's brows scrunch in confusion as he looks at his friend.
"The hell are you smiling about?" Jotaro asks bluntly with a deep scowl, "Didn't you hear a thing I just said?"
"I think you're the one who didn't hear what you just said, Jotaro." Kakyoin responds amusedly, his grin not faltering even under the scrutinizing gaze of Jotaro Kujo.
"What are you blabbering about?"
"Think back to your words, Jotaro. You're not stupid."
Jotaro paused for a while, running a hand through his already messy hair at his friend's cryptic behavior. He was already exhausted and pissed off; he didn't need any more of Kakyoin's bullshit—still, curiously, Jotaro did as he was asked.
Kakyoin's amused smile slowly widens along with Jotaro's eyes slowly widening in realization as he plays his own words back in his mind. His surprised gaze turned to look at Kakyoin.
"Are you suggesting....?" Jotaro trails off with a hiss. "Fuck off."
"I'm not even saying anything."
"Don't think about it. I'd rather eat my socks."
"Oh?"
"Don't look at me like—" Jotaro sighs. "It's not like that,"
"But it is," Kakyoin insists with a raised brow and a smirk, "Isn't it?"
Jotaro didn't even respond this time, looking away from his friend's teasing gaze as his own landed on his bed sheets. Kakyoin could see the dust of pink on the other teen's cheeks the more he remained silent, and that was already enough of a response to him.
"God fucking damnit." Jotaro curses under his breath at the realization, letting out a deep sigh as he glares at his sheets. Kakyoin remained silent as he let Jotaro think about his newfound feelings.
Eventually, Jotaro turns his head to look at Kakyoin, the usual calm, cold, neutral look on his face as his ocean gaze stares through his lavender ones.
"Turn away for a bit." Was all Jotaro said. Confused, Kakyoin did as he was told, turning his back to Jotaro and looking at the wall beside his bed.
Suddenly, Kakyoin jumps slightly in surprise.
Jotaro is screaming.
It's muffled, probably by his pillows and his sheets, and it probably wasn't loud enough to be heard outside their room, but loud enough to surprise Kakyoin.
It didn't take long before he heard a deep breath and then silence.
"Good night," Jotaro spoke nonchalantly, and Kakyoin swiftly turned, but Jotaro was already on his side, back turned towards the red-head who was only blinking at him in a mix of amusement and surprise.
"Also, don't tell anyone about this."
"Aye, aye, captain."

I'm on the writing grind, you can see that I just finished rewatching the Teen Titans (2003).
Edit: Here is some art I did for Titan!Phantom
.・゜-: ✧ :-
(The end is near.)
Gripping the communicator, the bright yellow case with a cartoonish 'T' on top glared back at him.
(The portal was growing.)
He presses the button, the communicator switches on and he calls out.
"Phantom to Titans, do you hear me? Phantom to Titans."
The crackling sound came as a sign of connection, It didn't take any heavy weight off, however.
"Robin here, Phantom? Everything alright?" The soothing voice of Teen Titans leader answers him, and he suppresses a sigh.
"Robin," he bites his lip, the portal only growing.
The ghost zone is eating Amity and all just because fucking Vlad couldn't, for one ancient time, sit still.
"I—" a deep breath. "I'm sorry," he apologises with a wince. "You're gonna be really angry at me when you... find out."
Concern leaks through the voice as Robin speaks. "Phantom? What's going on?"
Thr screen on the communicator switches on and Robins brow knitted expression stares back at him.
It quickly changes, alarmed. "Phantom." The vigilante says. "Is Amity Park okay? Do you need backup?"
Always on the right track, dear leader. Danny shakes his head fondly.
"It's too late for backup," he admits quietly.
"Phan—"
"Just tell new members of me, okay?"
Danny doesn't let the other finish, giving a bitter smile before throwing the communicator on the ground, breaking it.
The familiar yet threatening green of the ghost zone welcomes him.
—
"Titans! Emergency call, Phantom got a situation!"
The bright red lights is enough for the rest of the team to flood to the common room.
"Rob?" Cyborg asks. "What's the situation?"
"We don't know!" The bird answers, stressed. He's pulling the audio and video recording of the call up to the monitor, replaying it for the team.
They don't figure it out until they are at Amity, landing with the jet and jumping from their seats.
Raven and Starfire fly ahead, and they all reach the border of Amity.
Or what of Amity remains.
Because–
The entire city is gone—!!
Complete annihilation.
(When robin finds out who did this, he will have words with them.)
"Robin," Raven waves them all over to her side. She's crouching, hand in a sphere of black, her magic. "Amity wasn't destroyed. It was relocated."
Her expression is grim. "Someone abducted a whole city."
All he does is nod, looking at the team before him.
"Someone call Herald, Titans, we got work to do. Our mission is to find Amity Park, Phantom, and save both." With sombre nods, they prepared for take off.
"Titans! Go!"
And they separate.

Chapter One of unnamed fic
Chapter Two, chapter three
Bakugo x GN!Reader fluff fic based off this audio
"How many men have you kissed?"
"Very few."
"But you offered me a kiss, why?"
"Such a foolish reason I'm afraid. I just wanted to kiss you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Summery: You have practically latched onto Bakugo since the beginning of the school year. Why? Who knows.
Reader is very in tune with their emotions and speaks how they feel. Bakugo is the opposite. What a mix.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Content: Slow burn, romance, reader is flirty but they dont realize it kinda, curse words, no pronouns mentioned but is kinda fem (not fem heavy tho just reader does more feminine stuff ig), it's fluff guys
Words: 1,156
"Bakugo, over here!" Your cheery voice rang through the quaint coffee shop. The blond looked over towards the source of the noise, he spots you. Sitting by yourself at a little table, you had a pastery and a coffee with you.
Papers and textbooks littered the table you sat at. Bakugo begins making his way towards you, his backpack weighed down his shoulders as he walked through the quiet café.
Bakugo sits down across from you, the wooden chair scraping the floor annoyingly. "You started without me?" Bakugos voice isn't upset but more confused. You had begged asked if he could tutor you for the upcoming exams.
Reluctantly he agreed. Bakugo wasn't in the market for friends, or acquaintances that is. But after the first few days of school at UA, you began clinging to him, at training, in classes, in the dorms.
Bakugo couldn't lie and say he didn't like you, you were nice and funny at times. But he didn't need someone holding him back from his top spot. He made that extremely clear, about as clear as you made your desire to be friends.
"A bit, I was bored and didn't have anything else to do. What about you?" You cheerfully asked the teen in front of you. He began taking out his folder out of his bag, his backpack resting on the back of his chair.
"I was fixing my gauntlets, they got all messed up after training today." You nodded along with his words like they were the most interesting thing you've ever heard. "You don't give them to the shop class?" You curiously quizzed Bakugo.
His face contorted in something like offense. "I can handle my own shit." You chuckle, it confuses bakugo because to him he doesn't think he said anything funny. "Yeah I'm sure you can." Bakugo freezes for a second, but let's go of it quickly.
"Whatever, what do you want help with?" You're silent for a second, pondering where to start. "Well langue arts and math but I don't know what to do first..." You begin mumbling to yourself before an idea seems to dawn on you.
"Wait! Do you remember what we worked on yesterday in Mics class?" Bakugo thinks for a second before nodding. "Yeah can we do that? I swear Mic is speaking a different language when he's doing a lecture." You laugh at your own joke while Bakugo gets out his notes.
~~~~~~Time skip to later in the study sesh~~~~~
"Ugh this is so boring." You whine in complaint, laying your head down onto the table in exhaustion. "Well do you want to pass this class or not dumbass?" You groan at his words, "Why do you have to be so smart? It's not fair."
Bakugo feels himself get a little angry at your words but can also feel the heat rise to his ears at the compliment. "Yeah I'm smart but it's because I work for it." You don't get hurt when he snaps at you, already used to how the often angry teen communicates.
"Yeah yeah I know. But you make it seem so easy." This makes Bakugo raise a brow. "Make what look easy?" You look up at him, confusion written all over your face. "You know, being awesome. You're insanely powerful and super smart. Leave some for the rest of us" you practically pout at the last few words.
The way you say it makes it seem like common knowledge. And it is, bakugo is a well known power house. So why does it make his face flush a deep shade of red that he trys to hide behind his hand. "Don't go saying shit like that dumbass."
You cock your head to the side, "What do you mean? It's true." God Bakugo hates how every word makes his stomach swirl in such a way. "Just shut up, Im leaving, I got other shit to do." Bakugo quickly starts packing up his work books and papers.
When he glances at your face it seems... disappointed? "Oh sorry I didn't mean to hold you up." Your voice is laced with something that's close to sadness. Bakugo sees you check the time on your phone before starting to clean up your own belongings.
"What else do you plan to do today? It's still pretty early." You question the blond, in all honesty he just wanted to get back to his dorm. "I uh, I got to work on my gauntlets. They're still acting up." You chuckle to yourself making Bakugo give you a side eye that you catch.
"Are you all work and no play? We just studied for hours you should treat yourself to something." He never thought about it like that. He needs to keep working to be the best. The number one hero doesn't take breaks. "That's bullshit, I have responsibilities."
You playfully roll your eyes at the mans response. "Well that sucks cuz I wanted to hang out." Although your tone is teasing Bakugo catches the slight undertone of real disappointment. As he slings his backpack over his shoulder and pushes in his chair you beam with an idea.
"Oh I know! Could I just hang out in your dorm while you work on your gauntlets?" Bakugo is very inclined to say no and leave but it's the way you say it with such excitement that leaves him contemplating. When he sighs and rolls his eyes you know you've won.
"Yeah sure whatever. Just don't bother me." You do a small cheer of excitement, you quickly throw your own backpack over your shoulder. The two of you walk out the café, you waving to the batista and Bakugo holding open the door.
The walk back to UA is short, the whole time you are talking about God knows what. But the whole time Bakugo just listens, every once and a while chiming in so you know he's listening. The usually sparky man is uncharacteristically quiet. He watches as you talk with your hands and put so much passion into every word.
As you reach UAs gates you stop talking long enough to get a good look at Bakugo. He gives you a weird look once you went quiet. "Something wrong?" His voice is gruff and almost annoyed. You stay quiet for a moment.
"Has anyone ever told you you have really pretty eyes?" Bakugo struggles to find a response, he fights against the flustered feeling building in his chest. The way you say it seems like you're stating a fact more than compliment. Like you just were saying what came to mind and it was messing with Bakugo in a way he hated.
Bakugo mutters out some response he sure sounded pathetic but it doesn't take him long to recover and go back to his hard exterior. After a moment you go back to talking like nothing happened, but bakugo keeps going back to your words. What the hell are you trying to do?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alright I decided to make this a multi chapter fic so the audio prompt will show up later. Hope you enjoyed!

A censored version of Nu: Carnival is coming to the app store... Which is not good
When this was first brought to my attention, I honestly didn't believe it at first. I mean, why would I? Nu: Carnival has advertised itself as an adult-only game since it's release. I rarely go on Twitter since it's a total shithole, but that's how I found out that the rumors were true. Nu: Carnival - Bliss, they're calling it. The overall plot, events, and gameplay will be the same. But many crucial changes will be done to the dialogue, CG, and audio. Long post ahead, but I'll be ranting about it below
Why is this a bad move?
There are multiple reasons as to why making a censored, teen friendly version of Nu: Carnival is a horrible decision. I might not get them all, but here are a few I can think of off the top of my head:
It is literally impossible to separate the nsfw from the source. Whether the devs like it or not, they made an nsfw game. After the first half of the prologue, the game opens with porn. You are introduced to two characters at the time — Aster and Morvay. That right there is already an issue. Morvay is an incubus. He is a sex demon who wears leather lingerie. While there is certainly more to his personality, his is very existence is sex. Sex is what keeps him alive and fed. Morvay is very open about his sexual desires and the topic of sex as a whole. He doesn't find it shameful or taboo. So... What are they going to do with Morvay? He can't be removed since he's bonded with Aster. Censoring him will have him take a MAJOR hit. Now that leads me to the second part of this bullet point: sex is a crucial part of the plot. Essence is what keeps Klein stable. Eiden and his clan's job is to use their essence to fix the gem altars so said altars can keep the essence regulated throughout the continent. While there are several ways to replenish one's essence, the most effective way is through sex. Sex also plays a crucial role in expanding on the plot and the characters. Sex scenes aren't just there for entertainment, there is genuine lore within the dialogue. Through sex, Eiden bonds with his clan members in the most intimate and personal ways. He sees his clan members at their most vulnerable moments, and through that they share a deep connection. You can see when sex scenes go from Eiden and whoever the clan member is having sex just to have it to having sex because they genuinely care for each other and want to physically bond. I could delve deeper into this topic, but I'm sure you all understand by now what I'm trying to say. Sex is not just an accessory or perk. It's part of the worldbuilding
Minors will not be able to escape nsfw within the fandom. Since the game's release, the fan base has been entirely made up of adults. Since we are all adults, we freely talk and post about the nsfw parts of the game. You go on any social media platform where Nu: Carnival is discussed, and you will see nsfw. It's a very casual topic in the fandom, and in a way it's something that bonds us together… As weird as that may sound. My point is, making a censored version of the game is pointless, because the source itself in inherently nsfw and the fan base is full of adults making nsfw content which is usually uncensored since the artists expect for anyone in the fandom to only be adults
Minors in fandoms often bring drama... Hear me out on this one. Not to sound like one of those "grr minors dni I hate minors" people, but kids in fandoms often bring drama and discourse. As aggravating at it is, I have to admit that it isn't entirely their fault. When you're in your early teens, you're starting to discover yourself. You become very opinionated and defensive over your beliefs because you're trying to figure out who you are and where you stand in life. You're trying to gain independence and autonomy. It's normal... But it's very draining. Since Nu: Carnival has an all-adult fandom, there isn't a lot of drama at all. Sure, you're going to have stupid people saying stupid shit to start drama, that happens everywhere, but those people are typically ignored because it isn't too common. With kids coming into the fandom and starting unnecessary drama, it'll be so much harder to avoid. Not only that, but kids don't have as much media literacy as adults do. It's not an insult, but simply a fact. Nu: Carnival delves in a LOT of heavy themes in the game. Some of which are stated outright while others require you to read in between the lines to pick up on them. Since the fandom is all adults, it's easier for us to handle these topics and discuss them maturely
Why are the devs doing this?
My guess? Money. The devs are part of a company after all. At the end of the day, all companies want to make money. By making a game they can put on app stores, the game becomes more visible to a broader audience. People who have never heard of Nu: Carnival before will see what appears to be an innocent anime game when it's far from that. All it will take is a simple google search for people to see the the game is very much nsfw and not something minors should indulge themselves in. It's dangerous for both parties involved, both the minors and the adults
But hey, whatever's bringing in the money, right? Sigh...

I'm a teen aspiring author. I live in a house with three children and my walls and door are not very soundproof. Do you have any tips to get focused not by reducing distractions but getting focused while still being in the middle of chaos?
Focusing Despite the Chaos
Even if you can't eliminate distractions, it's still worth trying to minimize them, so I want to start there... then I'll get to what to do if you can't. Here are some things you might be able to try...
1 - Minimizing Noise - In a perfect world we could all afford a nice pair of noise cancelling headphones, but there are other ways to minimize the noise that reaches your ears. For example, many convenience stores and stores with pharmacy areas sell packets of disposable ear plugs for just a few dollars. These can reduce noise enough to make it less distracting, so definitely worth a try.
2 - Utilize Continuous Sound/"Noise Colors" - Continuous sound, like the deep rumble of a waterfall or the gentle roar of heavy rain, falls on a spectrum called noise colors. White Noise covers all frequencies equally, so it provides a soothing background hum that can help to minimize other sounds. You can find white noise generators via different apps and places like YouTube or web sites like A Soft Murmur. Or, you can put on a loud fan, air purifier, air conditioner, etc. Pink Noise is a little softer, like the fall of gentle rain, so this might be something like a fan on a lower setting. Brown noise is a step lower than that, like the ambient noise you get from having the window open on a quiet but breezy day. White, pink, or brown noise can be a great way to reduce the impact of chaos coming from the rest of the house.
3 - Put on a YouTube Ambience Room - YouTube is absolutely bursting with "ambience rooms" and channels dedicated to study music, sleep music, relaxation music, etc. These can be a fantastic way to promote focus, not only because they give you something steady to listen to, you can often find things that gel thematically with whatever you're writing, which can help you block out other distractions.
4 - Try a ZenWare Writing Program - OmmWriter, ZenWriter, Focus Writer, and others provide features that help you focus on your writing, such as simple interfaces, special typing sounds, white noise and sound generators, and word counters. These are not typically free but are usually reasonably priced.
5 - Shift Your Writing Time - Even a chaotic house has its quiet times. It could be early in the morning before everyone else is awake, late at night after everyone else is in bed, during mealtime, or when everyone is away. Pay attention to when the chaos is at its lowest each day and try to utilize those times for writing if you can.
When you can't minimize the chaos...
Any combination of the above tactics can still be great ways to help you focus a little more, even if it doesn't really reduce the noise or chaos. Just having things like a special screen or special audio to focus on can help you mentally block out distractions. To some degree, it's something that takes some trial and error--to see which tactics work for you--and practice. I know writers who can write on plans, trains, buses, car rides, in the middle of busy places... it's just something they did out of necessity and got good at with time. You will, too. ♥

Parts of the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes movie that did the book dirty
Spoilers!!
…
• Snow is the one to suggest feeding the tributes, not stumbling across Sejanus already doing it
• The downgrade of the whole rat problem/rat poison thing
• Grandma’am is nice now???
• The almost total removal of Clemensia’s character, her being a weird suck up instead of her making a normal teen lie, and the fallout showing the absolute apathy Dr Gaul has (and also making Snow realize he can’t even trust the Capitol)
• Dr Gaul literally spelling out what the snakes do and Clemensia still sticking her hand in that stupid snake tank
• Not having Snow calling Lucy Gray “mine” in a creepy way even once to show how he feels he has ownership of her from the very beginning
• The EXTREME downgrade of Snow and Sejanus’ relationship, and the weird bond he has with the Plinths in general
• Ma Plinth erasure
• Tigris erasure
• Getting rid of Arachne’s funeral
• Snow not going out of his way to get Lucy Gray a guitar
• Having a blink and you’ll miss it throwaway line of the tributes and Academy students that died in the explosion
• Not showing the other tributes that did the interview
• Not showing Mama Snow’s compact until Coriolanus deciding to give it to Lucy Gray
• Lucy Gray and Snow didn’t kiss before she went into the games??? I feel like that added and extra layer of her wanting to survive but idk
• The erasure of the iconic “it’s not over until the mockingjay sings” line
• The drones never being fixed was a super weird choice and I’m not sure if I liked it or not
• Snow being super suspicious and running out to put something with Lucy Gray’s scent in the snake tank instead of just getting lucky and putting it in there on the off chance instead of it being predetermined
• The Games ending with the snake scene instead of Lucy Gray having to be clever to outwit her opponents, like I get it’s dramatic but that scene with Dr Gaul was just so weird to me
• Highbottom TELLING Snow to sign up for the Peacekeepers instead of just implying it and also telling him to keep his identity anonymous instead of Snow doing it out of pride
• Sejanus not telling Snow about the diploma he literally bargained for for him
• Sejanus showing up on the train instead of after Snow gets to District 12 and has to wallow in what his life is now before having finally having someone that actually knows him
• Snow not having IMMEDIATE beef with the mockingjays
• Snow not calling Sejanus his brother until the moment he betrayed him
• Them playing the Jabberjay audio at the hanging instead of Snow having to sit with his guilt and finding out via the commander was so so SO cringy omg
• Snow finding out he was going to District 2 BEFORE finding out about the hunt for the guns and who killed the mayor’s daughter was so so weird like why did they choose to do it in that order I feel like it took away all suspense of wondering when the other shoe was going to drop
• Lucy Gray looking that man in the eye and calling herself a loose end while he has a gun in his hand and not getting shot then and there was the most unrealistic part of the movie istg
• Not showing the Plinths in the apartment with them at all and just kinda having a throwaway line about where the money’s coming from
• Dr Gaul never says that she destroyed all evidence of the 10th game because of everything that happened with Snow, Lucy Gray, Sejanus, and the other dead Capitol children
• Snow not throwing away the morphine and Highbottom digging to get it, and instead just leaving it on the desk, idk it takes away the agency of the murder to me, less like an accident and less thought out (and on top of that, not showing how meticulous he was with poisoning the morphine so it couldn’t be traced back to him)

Oil is Thicker Then Blood (Part 5)
Uzi was left by herself, N reluctantly taking his leave after she reminded him that he still needed oil, and as much as she didn't mind sharing, he would drink her out of house and home incredibly quickly if he stayed.
It's not like she wanted him to go… er, well she did, but only so she could gather her thoughts on the situation that happened today.
It was nice, spending a mostly stress free day with him, as so much of their time was spent dealing with nightmare fuel and ungodly eldritch abominations, she wondered if that counted as a “trauma bond.” It probably did.
She picked up a pen with her solver power, the purple glow lighting up the room, she spun it, letting the action itself distract her.
She hated that fact that “angsty teen” was a rather quite accurate description for her. But it wasn't her fault that shit kept happening and she was forced to deal with it.
And no, she wasn't dealing with it well. She wasn't dealing with the fact she was turning into a weird biological disassembly drone well, she wasn't handling her finding out her mom had whatever she has and it had driven her crazy well. And she certainly wasn't handling her father abandoning her well.
And she was totally not scared to go to sleep tonight and face her freaky nightmares again, no Uzi Doorman wasn't scared of anything.
She lost control of the pen, and it careened into the wall before sticking into it. She groaned, looking at the ceiling.
Doll still had her stupid bug.
If anything thats what worried her the most right now. Doll was stupidly overpowered with her mastery of her solver powers.The bitch could teleport! And if N or V was caught unaware by her… she really hoped that they were at least together.
And Uzi did want to master them as well, she did! It made her a cool spooky witch and more on par with her disassembly drone friends (freind? V was still up in the air) than if she were just normal, everyday Uzi.
But…
She pulled the pen back out of the wall again, trying to duplicate it like she'd seen Doll do with the knives back at prom.
And was immediately reminded of that searing, burning, white hot pain that had coursed through her when she had boarded herself up in that cabin. When she'd lost all control.
The pen exploded, sending a shower of black ink all over her room, and she made herself jump, a small yelp leaving her mouth before she sighed in frustration.
She was a little bit scar- wary about using the solver. She went through way more oil when she was actively using it. And more recently it had felt… unstable. Like she wasn't quite herself if she pushed it too far.
Once, it had even flashed gold. Which had freaked her out enough that she'd relegated it's use to simple tasks and emergencies. But even still, she knew she couldn't get any better at controlling it if she didn't use it.
Which of course caused her to get more frustrated. Irritation crawling up her back, and now out of a practice object, she slammed her head down on the desk, filling the void with a thud.
She grabbed her black, cat eared headphones that were resting on her desk, sticking it into an MP3 player she'd inherited from her mom. Blasting Nightcore into her audio receptors loud enough so that maybe she wouldn't hear her own thoughts anymore.
It wasn't really helping. Now her angsty thoughts were just Nightcore flavored.
Her thoughts drifted back to her lovable disassembly drone companion. Wondering, idly, what he was getting up to outside the walls of the bunker.
Not anything that interesting, as it turned out.
N was perched on the top of a building, five eyes (technically seven, counting the ones in his visor) piercing even though the thickest fog cover Copper-9 could muster. His tail making wide swings behind him.
He hunted every single night. He had to, his systems drew so much energy and ran so hot that he could run through half a full tank if he was exerting himself. He was honestly getting a little sick of it, he could've been doing anything else right now.
Like finishing that movie he'd fallen asleep watching, that sounded way more enticing.
But his visor forever blinking with a “seek intake” message mocked him. Why the heck was he made this way?!
He knew the answer of course. But they could at least have given them an ounce of leeway when it came to oil consumption. Sure, his filters could make use of most types of oil, even motor oil in a pinch. But none of that mattered when he went through it so fast!
He took off into the air, scanning the ground for corpses he could drink from.
Which felt increasing weirder the more time he spent in the bunker, he talked to workers almost every single day and here he was desecrating their family members to keep himself alive.
He shook that thought out of his processors. He couldn't go without oil, he'd tried. And nearly killed himself.
Death by being boiled alive in your own shell wasn't fun. And so he kept searching, he'd normally always found a corpse eventually, J had always preferred a high body count rather than hunting for oil, so plenty of her kills were still full of it.
And hers were easy to spot. The more barbaric the death, the more likely it was J.
He saw a dim red light hooked over a streetlight. And landed next to it, it was the upper torso of a drone, the bottom half completely ripped off an thrown who knows where.
Yeah that was probably a J kill.
He gingerly lifted the poor drone, listening for the sloshing of oil before closing his eyes and snapping off the drones neck. And puncturing a small hole in its head.
He tipped it into his mouth, a sick sense of pleasure washed over him that he vehemently ignored, it was just another way for the humans to entice the disassembly drones to kill more, just like the sensitivity of his tail, and just like his programming telling him that the liquid was sweet when it shouldn't be.
The head was the easiest part to drink from, and often contained the most oil than any other part. So he concluded his hunt there, carrying what was left home with him. Where he'd put it into much less horrific containers. Where he could pretend he hadn't stolen it from a corpse.
How many of these drones were parents?
The thought smacked him upside the head like V when he'd annoyed her. Jolting him out of one morbid train of thought to another.
How many orphans did he himself create? How many children grew up alone, without their parents, because he took them away?
Uzi had mentioned, breifly, that her mother was dead. And he didn't have to be a genius to figure out what killed her, there was really only one option. Well three, if he was being technical.
He prayed, so badly it was J. So that way it was just another shitty thing he could blame on her. But it very easily could have been V… or him.
He really hoped it wasn't. That would be a cruel joke. Killing the parent of the person who changed his life, who cared about him in a way he wasn't sure anyone else had ever done.
But they all blended together, so many terrified faces that there was no way he could remember them all, the only small comfort was that he was the least brutal member of their team, if he had done it, he would've been quick.
He reached the spire as the sun rose behind him. V had already returned from her hunt, and he could see her tail hanging out from her nest over the spire, twitching.
He flew up to his nest, the lowest of the three. And dropped the head gently in the corner before landing on the salvaged blanket with a poof. Leaning back into it.
He'd stopped sleeping like a bat a long time ago. Dropping on his head one too many times being woken up by a nightmare. This was far more comfortable anyway.
He heard V's light snoring. Which at some point in his life may have made him blush. But now all he did was smile, he still deeply cared for V, and wanted her to be happy, and safe. But that crush had long since died. It had died the day they left the manor, but he'd held onto it a bit too long.
He missed Uzi's bed.
Speaking about things that made him blush. That did the trick, making a yellow fluster stain his cheeks.
So what? It was comfortable! His nest was lumpy and sometimes the blanket would slip and he'd be poked in the back by the jagged spire. Uzi's bed was squishy and was right up against a vent so cool air washed over him.
And if he was there, sleeping beside her. Then he didn't worry about where she was, or if she was safe. Because she'd be right there. Where he could protect her.
He thought back to that morning, which by now had seemed so long ago. How he'd fallen asleep holding her, and how she'd curled up on his chest with a little smile on her face, mumbling something in her sleep.
It had been the most relaxed he'd ever seen her.
He wished she'd always be relaxed, she always seemed to be stressed out about something, her solver, Doll, her mom, her dad. She was probably doing it right now, without him there to direct her attention elsewhere.
He heard V stop snoring, shuffling up in her nest before it slowly started up again, although this time slightly louder. The sun was peeking over the horizon. It would be beautiful if it didn't kill him.
V didn't talk to him much, which wasn't all that different from thier dynamic before, but now it seemed to sting more, after regaining his memories and understanding that before they were… this. They'd been freinds. More then that even.
And while he didn't ever expect a return to that. Heck, he didn't even want that. He did want to be there for her, she was going through a lot too, and she seemed to remember more than he did even now.
He remembered before and after he became a disassembly drone. But not the transition. It had been the gala, then suddenly he was in the pod, given orders to kill and eat any worker drone he came across by J.
He wondered if she did. And it was something that had made her so much different then who he remembered her to be.
Either way, it had made the tower uncomfortably silent, and that made him think. He didn't like thinking! Thinking often made him sad, and he'd been sad too much. Happy thoughts N, happy thoughts.
Tera came next, the litle droneling that had wormed her way in his head. How cute she was, and how strong her core beat was. He wondered what she would be like when she got older. With how happy she seemed to be just by seeing them.
Uzi also seemed happy, and he had the feeling that he'd glimpsed the softest part of her while she held the baby drone.
He really liked it when she was soft, not that he didn't enjoy her quick tongue, but it was something he knew she had a hard time expressing, she was loud and confident, and possibly slightly feral. But that was only a part of her, the other part was kind, loyal, and so… loving?
Was that the right word? It felt a little too strong of a word to use. It wasn't wrong, it just felt weird. But she was always making sure he was okay, like at prom. When she'd asked him to please stop putting himself in danger for her. He wouldn't, but still.
Or when she'd sacrificed her knowledge to save his memories, or today, when she'd assured him that she'd never abandon him.
And while he'd known that, boy was it really good to hear from her. So yes, she was loving, in her own way.
Huh…
That's what he fell asleep to, curling himself into a ball as if he was trying to hold something that wasn't there.

Listen To A Radio Show
Gather around the radio and listen for a while!
This mod adds a new pie menu, Listen to a Radio Show, to all regular stereos, which will give your sim the option to listen to a variety of different kinds of shows, mainly aimed at the first half of the 1900s up into the 1960s, inspired by things that they would have been able to listen to. Despite TV taking off in the 1950s, radio shows seem to have remained popular for a while after that.
There's also a new social interaction to go with one of the shows, and a new piece of deco cc to go with another.
The pie menu should show up on most things in the audio category of buy mode. It won't appear on the music box from Life and Death, Lin-Z, DJ booths, or karaoke machines. It should show up on cc stereos too, for maximum historical usefulness.
While your sims are listening to their show, they are strongly encouraged to sit (on furniture, not the floor) and listen. They may decide not to, especially if there's not enough room or seating. They might decide to dance, or chat, or put away a book. They will stay within three tiles of the radio, in the same room. They should not cancel the show autonomously unless their needs drop too low, the radio breaks, or they get interrupted by something with even higher priority (including, unfortunately, a pop up to ask if they want a new preference).
Most of the shows are two hours long. Some are available for toddlers, some only for child and older sims. Some are basegame, some require City Living (the talking ones), and Country requires Horse Ranch.
Most of the time, sims will get a buff while listening (kids don't get a buff for listening to soap operas. Some of these vary by age and/or traits. Then, once the show is over, most of the time, sims will get one of a variety of buffs from what they watched. If a group of sims watch, they probably won't get matching buffs (I'm thinking of it as they reacted to different parts. One show would generally have been shorter than they'll be watching here. For example, soap operas may have been 10-15 minutes long.). The buffs may be a reaction to a specific show, or they might be a bit generic. If they reference a specific show, it's a real show that existed. If it references a real person, I mostly substituted a sim (not necessarily from TS4), except for one singer.
At any time while the show is on, you can change the station, and sims listening will continue to act as if their show is on. You can even turn it off. If your sim or you hate the station I picked, you can switch it. If you want your News to sound like Latin Pop, well, they had studio musicians. But if your sim has a trait that makes them lose fun from listening to the show, that will continue.

I'm going to say this requires City Living. Technically, I think you could use it with just base game, but you'll be missing some text and some images will be llamas. You can try to use it without City Living if you want, but I won't be providing support for that. You'll have 3 of the 10 shows available, and you'll have an overall poor experience. The Country show requires Horse Ranch, but that shouldn't affect the rest of the mod.
Requires Lot 51's Core Library
Download: https://simfileshare.net/download/5216335/
Updates:
Jan 20, 2025: PlumbBuddy manifest updated
Known issues:
If a sim gets interrupted on their way to the stereo, they'll (probably) still listen to the show, but they may not get the buff for it. This is most likely to happen if there's little room. If they don't get the currently listening buff, they might not get the follow-up buff either. If you want them to get the currently listening buff, you can cancel the interaction and tell them to listen again.
This was inspired by my Horse Ranch radio as BG TV. The problem with that one is that it's tied to one specific radio. The idea was to inject TV interactions into stereos, but video is not compatible with audio devices. This is not a replacement for the TV, since it does very different things, and won't count for a bar's requirements or for holidays that require TVs. It's more of a companion.
Thanks to Kuttoe for the original idea, which then spiraled out of control, and to the kind people in Creator Musings for helping when I forgot how to mod.

Hey! My name is Niyah and this is
WHY I SHOULD BE NOMINATED FOR THEE BLAKE FAN
I have and will always defend Blake. He might be a villain in everyone else’s story, but he’s the hero in Bestie’s and his own
I hold a deep appreciation for the way Erik wrote his character. Blake is a true embodiment of the phrase “Love makes people do crazy things”
I constantly look out for Blake lore because I want to know more about his story and what pushed him to become like this
^^^ Hence my irritation towards his audio being pushed back SO FAR that i’m losing hope in ever seeing it because we keep being met with delay after delay.
IVE BEEN BEGGING FOR A BA. JUST ONE. That’s all I need to be happy and complete. I just want a flashback to that day in high school. Thats tying back into me just wanting to know more of his story
I’ve made who I think Blake is on Artbreeder. It took a little time but I’ve mastered his image in my head, which ultimately means that i’ve thought about him quite a bit
Blake is Top 3 boys for me
Hot take! But I don’t really care for Elliott so being a Blake Fan was inevitable
One of the few Fics i’ve written for this fandom is a Teen!Blake x Teen!Bestie fic and I had a lot of fun writing it
I LOVE HIM HES MY BABY BOY ‼️🩵
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk🫶🏽 @plaqying
