This is a pre-canon adventure feature Tibarn as the newly appointed Prince of Phoenicis dealing with King Naesala of Kilvas to help the herons of Serenes deal with a problem. Probably one of my favorite things I've written.

It is part of a series, but you don't really need to read the whole series to understand this story, it just adds extra flavor. As it is part of a series, there are no set ships here, because that comes later on in the series, so at this point, things are up in the air and left open to reader interpretation (my bias is Reyson/Tibarn).
