This image shows the top view of the drawing of Solaris Nexum. In this version the two-way polycarbonate mirror panels are all orientated towards a point attractor which acts as the path of the sun. This is a formal reference to modern day sun towers, a technological echo of our ancient celestial connections. Another day and another layer of structure and meaning revealed. This is the top view of Solaris Nexum with the main panels of two-way polycarbonate mirror added to the steel catenary cables. There’s optical illusion and trickery built into the piece. The flip side of that is that in navigating the model of it you can easily get lost in the piece. This is the top view but it also mirrors the bottom. It disorientates, leaving you unsure if you are above, below, inside or outside the sphere of understanding.
