I go absolutely FERAL for this trope with Danny and Vlad.

It’s just so SCRUMPTIOUS, and then adding in Jason Todd as having once been Dan BUT NOT EVEN REALIZING IT?!

He’s a mama’s boy and he WILL get vengeance.

Danny himself had been looking for Dan for such a long time, furious at Vlad for his actions and the results that came from it. Dan was lost Ancients KNEW where, as a helpless baby! He kept the missing person’s report as active as he could because Dan was still out there, he was alive in some way for his soul and ghost had not returned to the Infinite Realms.

Dan was still alive.

He had to be.

And then Danny is visited by Jason Todd, a young boy so painfully familiar that Danny feels his core shake.

Ideas.

The Fez Vultures dropped baby Dan/Jason over Gotham while taking him on a midnight flight to get him to stop crying (even without his memories baby Dan/Jason knows he doesn’t want to be with Vlad and is making his opinions known).

Dan/Jason only survived by using all the ecto in his tiny baby core to save himself, making him functionally human until he finds a new source of ectoplasm (there isn’t enough Ectoplasm in Gotham for Dan/Jason to properly recharge, hence why it’s not the most haunted and crime ridden city in the world).

Anywho, this is where my idea splits, because I can see one of two things happening.

1- We have Sheila find Dan/Jason, claim he’s her and Willis’s child for [Reasons] and dump Dan/Jason on his supposed baby daddy.

Option 1 would have more canonical angst and possibly lead to a confrontation with Sheila to find out why she did everything which leads him to getting beaten to death by Joker.

Or

2- Catherine finds a seemingly abandoned Dan/Jason in an alleyway and takes him in.

Option 2 would be a lot more fluffy.
