i am starting to second guess myself on the braces though because tons of people on r/ehlersdanlos are saying that bracing improperly can cause a lot of damage, but i don't know how to get referred to an orthosist because last time my doctor said "well just try some braces" and i would love to. but i need a referral to get actual braces. i don't even remember if this was just like one step towards orthosis or what the conversation has left my brain. auhhghhg
