The $20,000 Dress Escape Room - Would YOU play?
Want to play a game?
This isn't a normal escape room. You're locked in, but there are no complicated puzzles to solve. If you win, you get a big cash prize, tax free. Only people like you can play. Ready?
The rules are as follows:
ENTRY
All rules must be followed completely. Any rules broken lead to automatic disqualification.
You must sign a declaration that you are a sissy and you will abide by the rules. Your phone will be confiscated and you must provide the details to log into your all of your accounts and contacts.
To enter the room, you must be dressed appropriately. This is called the "Entry Dress Requirement" (EDR). All garments will be provided for you and the final decision on each garment is determined by management.
The Entry Dress Requirement includes:
Full satin bridal dress - either cathedral length, tea length or short are acceptable. No sheath or lace dresses are permitted.
A large multi-layer, multi-tier petticoat (minimum size applies – multiple petticoats may be mandated).
Suitable head attire – bows/ribbons/floral headband.
Full length bridal veil (this may be worn in front of face if preferred).
Undergarments including bridal shapewear, lingerie and stockings (garters provided if required).
White satin heels (minimum heel height applies).
Additional Entry Dress Requirements include full, properly applied make-up, perfectly presented hair and tidy nails. Newly-applied false nails are acceptable if professionally done. Perfume will be applied excessively onto you before entry.
Any disagreement, argument or conflict during the entry process will result in immediate disqualification.
Once management is satisfied you adhere to the EDR, front, rear and side photographs will be taken of you and recorded. Only when all the above rules are satisfied will you be able to enter the escape room....
Tumblr media
THE GAME
Upon entry to the room, the door will be bolted behind you and every action after this point will be recorded by our 4K cameras. Smile!
To win the prize, you must escape the room by finding and wearing the correct combination of garments.
The combination will consist of a wedding dress, a matching pair of shoes and a veil. All items must be worn perfectly – dresses must be tied correctly, with any bows, buttons or ribbons fastened as per the dresses' design. Dresses with trains must be worn with full train extended, with no creasing. Important: the wedding dress will only be acceptable if filled out fully with sufficient petticoats. Veils must be tidy and fully spread out. Shoes must be very tightly tied. Ballet style shoes need all ribbons fully tied, with perfectly-shaped bows. You must be able to demonstrate being able to walk perfectly in all shoes.
To submit a combination, walk up to the camera and curtsy. Your photograph will be taken and one of the following results will happen:
A: If any part of your attire is not correctly worn (e.g. back zip not fully fastened, no required train attached, or insufficient petticoat for the dress), you will be notified and you must wait 15 minutes before submitting another. During this time, you may only wait. You will not be told which garment needs adjusting.
B: If you have the incorrect combination, you will be notified and you must wait 15 minutes before submitting another. Again, during this time, you may only wait. You will not be told which garment is incorrect.
C: If the curtsy is not perfect, or if you are unable to walk perfectly in the shoes, you will be notified and you must wait 15 minutes before attempting again. Again, during this time, you may only wait.
D: If you have the correct combination of wedding dress, shoes and veil, whilst also adhering to the rest of the rules, the door will open and you will win the Grand Prize.
IMPORTANT: at all times inside the escape room, you must continue to wear the Minimum Garment Requirement (MGR). Failure to do so will result in disqualification. There are no exceptions to this rule. The MGR is:
A: The original petticoat(s) worn on entry. Additional petticoats may be worn to match a wedding dress, however once you have put on a petticoat, it MUST NOT be removed. To reiterate, you may add petticoats, but you MAY NOT remove them.
B: The original shapewear/lingerie worn on entry.
C: Hair, make-up and head attire needs to be kept to perfect standard throughout. Loose bows must be re-tied if mandated by management. Any attempt to submit with loose hair, slack bows or smudged make-up will fail.
You may try any combination of dress, shoes and veil, however you may NOT remove any items of MGR in order to aid dressing.
There is no time limit. The game only ends with submission, disqualification or a win....
Tumblr media
SUBMISSION / DISQUALIFICATION
Submitting or breaching any of the above rules leads to instant disqualification. If this occurs, the following will happen:
Immediate publishing of all photographs, videos and written materials to all of your social networks.
Photographs and USB sticks with all the footage will be sent to all of your contacts – your work, family and neighbours.
Immediate ejection from the escape room. Your original clothes and possessions will be seized and you must leave with whatever you were wearing at the time of ejection.
No assistance will be provided in returning home.
WINNING
If you find the correct combination of dress, shoes and veil, you will win the Grand Prize of $20,000. In addition, you may also keep one dress, one pair of shoes and one veil of your choice. Any petticoats worn at the time of winning may also be kept.
However, you may also choose the alternate prize. If you so wish, you can forfeit the cash prize and return to play the game again whenever you wish.

Feel Better
Pairing: Bucky x F!reader
Warnings: No warnings, just fluff!
Length: 674
Summary: Bucky takes care of you while you’re sick.
A/N: I am currently sick so I decided to write a cute little post to make me feel better (and so I can procrastinate on my calc homework)
I do not give consent for my work to be translated, copied, or sold!
Tumblr media
You felt fine a day ago. Maybe your throat was a little scratchy and you sneezed maybe once or twice but you felt completely fine. But Bucky knew better.
The scratchy throat soon turned into a sore throat and the sneeze turned into a coughing fit and a low fever.
“Bucky, I’m fine!” You push your boyfriend’s hand away from your shoulder and try to get out of bed.
“Doll, you need to rest.” You give up and let Bucky gently tuck you into bed.
“Bucky, It’s probably just allergies.”
“Doll, you’re burning up and all you want is soup. It’s not allergies.” You sigh and watch as he goes into the bathroom.
You hear him turn on the bathtub and fill it with warm water and some Epsom salt. He goes into your side of the dresser and gets out a clean pair of black sweatpants, a pair of underwear, and his red henley that you stole.
“Really, Doll?” Bucky turns to you with a smirk.
“It’s a comfy shirt and it smells like you.” You shrug.
Bucky lets out a laugh and brings the clothes into the bathroom. He grabs one of your favorite candles and lights it before turning off the bathroom lights. He goes to your side of the bed and sits next to you, gently stroking the side of your face.
“Come on, Doll. This will make you feel better, and I’ll make you a nice bowl of canned soup and some ginger tea.” You laugh at his comment about soup but start coughing.
“Bucky, just go stay with Steve. I don’t want to get you sick!” Bucky looks at you before kissing your lips.
“Well, I just kissed you so now I guess I’m sick.” You gasp before weakly punching his arm.
Bucky’s face scrunches and he holds his arm. “OW! What the fuck Doll?”
“Why did you do that, I’m sick! I don’t want to take care of your whiny ass!”
Bucky smiles down at you and kisses you again. “Doll, I’m a super soldier. You don’t need to worry about me.”
You look up at him before grabbing his hand. “I’m sorry for punching your arm.”
Bucky kisses the tip of your nose before getting up and carrying you bridal style to the bathroom. “It’s ok, Doll. Now let’s get you in the bath.”
Bucky gently puts you on your feet and helps you undress. He peppers kisses all over your body, saying how sorry he is that you’re sick. He gently takes your hand and helps you get into the tub, making sure that you’re comfortable.
“Ok, Doll. I’m going to make your tea and soup, I’ll be back with a glass of water.”
You grab his hand before he can leave and kiss his knuckles. “Thank you, baby.”
He kisses your forehead with a smile. “Anything for you.” And Bucky leaves the bathroom, leaving the door open in case you needed him.
You relax into the bathtub and close your eyes. You could feel your muscles relax as you let yourself be. However, the chills start to come and soon you’re shivering. You decide to sit in the bath for a few minutes before getting out to get dressed, you wanted to get all of the “sick” off of you.
Bucky comes in with a glass of ice cold water. “Doll, you’re shivering!”
He quickly puts the water on the counter before rushing to you. He helps you get out of the tub and gently dries you before helping you in your clothes.
“Can you get me some medicine?” You ask, your teeth chattering.
“I already put it on your bedside table with your soup and tea.” Bucky quickly picks you up to tuck you into bed.
“You don’t have to do all this Buck, I can handle getting into bed myself.” You tell him as he runs to get the water he left in the bathroom.
“Don’t worry about me, I’m doing what I want to do and that’s taking care of you.”

Tessa Virtue had three wedding dresses. We spoke to the Toronto designer who created them
“Tessa really was swaying away from any details that looked or felt like a skating costume.”
February 2, 2024
Tessa Virtue and Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly have just revealed they secretly tied the knot, not once, but twice, last summer. First, there was a Toronto wedding at Noce restaurant with just four guests joining them. The couple then jetted to Italy the following day and with 11 family members to celebrate their union with an intimate cocktail party, dinner and dancing.
Virtue and Rielly have always been very private about their relationship, so the fact they kept their ‘I dos’ a secret for almost six months is not a surprise. In an exclusive interview with Hello! Virtue said the decision to publicly unveil their newlywed status was a moment she struggled with. “You know when something is just so meaningful to you that you simultaneously want to just hold on to it and protect it so fiercely, and also shout from the rooftops?”
What was not a surprise about this romantic secret marriage between two Canadian sport icons? The bride’s wedding fashion game. True to form in the age of the wedding wardrobe, where multiple looks are essential, Virtue wore three incredible gowns. Ever the passionate supporter of Canadian fashion, Virtue tapped Toronto-based designer Jaclyn Whyte of Whyte Couture—a label she’s been spotted wearing at glittering events in the city including the CAFA Awards—to design each of her wedding looks.
“It was a surreal experience to work with a legend such as Tessa Virtue as we’ve followed her throughout the years making Canada proud,” says Whyte. “It’s a very personal and intimate process when making a gown, you really get to know each other. Tessa is one of the sweetest, most genuine and thoughtful people I know, and it was wonderful to get to know her and build a lasting friendship during this time we spent together. It was an honour to have made not one but three gowns for her wedding celebrations.”
According to Whyte, all the wedding looks were a true collaborative process between Virtue and herself. She says Virtue was very open to ideas, drawn to classic silhouettes, and simple, luxurious fabrics but wanted to add her own touches to make them a little less traditional. “Tessa really was swaying away from any details that looked or felt like a skating costume,” Whyte says. “Tessa knew what she wanted, we listened carefully and she trusted us. It was a magical meeting of creative minds.”
For the Toronto wedding day, Tessa wore a sleek and chic halter gown with no embellishments—a vision of modern bridal style. “This dress was super comfortable,” Whyte explains. “It was a classic silhouette with no train in soft white.”
For the Italian party, there were two looks beginning with a bespoke tea-length corseted dress, which Virtue wore for the rehearsal dinner. This dress was a particular delight for Whyte to create with the bride because it was detailed with whimsical artwork—an engagement ring, hearts, flowers and a Canadian flag to name a few—and meaningful messages chosen by Virtue like “Ti Amo” and “Marry Me,” which were hand painted on the gown by the designer. “The personalized drawings and notes made this one unique and extra special,” says Whyte.
Virtue’s third wedding dress was a most glorious and dramatic strapless mermaid gown in a beautiful pastel pink. The bodice of the dress featured delicate ruching with a flared skirt and train accessorized with a statement bow on one side of the hemline. As Virtue told Hello!, her pink wedding dress was a gown she found by chance and didn’t know she needed until she tried it on. “I just felt so confident, so fun, so me. Not exactly typical ‘bride,’ which I also loved. It was one of those magical, magical moments.”
Thanks to Virtue’s perfect pink wedding dress moment, the rose-coloured gown is likely to be one of 2024’s biggest wedding fashion musts.

Oooo if you’re open to helping us shop please help me find my wedding dress (big ask)? I feel like I’ve tried on every dress in London and am about to give up! I’m not tied to it being white (blue? metallic?) I just want it to feel special enough that I don’t look like my own guest, but not a full meringue moment because there’s only going to be 15 people total. Vibe is casual Saturday afternoon picnic in the park and drinks at our local afterwards, my budget is £2k!
Sorry I should have added that I’m super short so midis tend to fit better, maxi not really my vibe and I’m worried it might feel too formal for the picnic!
Oh my god this is my dream task. First off - congratulations! Sounds like it's going to be a beautiful wedding. Okay so I've got a few thoughts first before we dive in: (1) You can get anything shortened - I'm also relatively short (well, actually I have long torso and short legs, but works out the same) so 90% of my bottoms are tailored. And what better time to invest in some good tailoring than your wedding! Assuming the dress isn't beaded / heavy on appliques, it's usually<£30 to have something shortened, and it's the same price to have something taken up half an inch vs taken up a foot, to make a maxi tea length. So I'm going to recommend a few things that are longer but know that I always mean you should have them shortened if you want. (2) Have you thought about a veil? I just think it's the easiest, most obvious way to say 'Wedding!' but still keep things cool. Personally I love a birdcage moment but I'm also partial to a short veil, particularly if you get something meaningful embroidered on it (this one is fully customizable and I love the look of the phrase running down the side).
Okay now that we've done that, some thoughts: Rixo makes cute, special but low key dresses. For a city wedding feel, I love the shorter ones (60s vibes! This CAPE) but there's loads of cute options (remember, you can have the longer ones taken up!). They're also v affordable which is always nice.
On the less classically bridal end of the spectrum, we have La Double J who go big on color and pattern. Again, I'd consider adding a veil (maybe in a fun color?!) to feel more bridal. I'm not sure your body shape but this top and skirt combo! With a pale blue veil?! Come on. They also do have more classic bridal pieces as well. There's also Zimmerman - flirty and flouncy, their dresses have pure romantic vibes. Something like this could definitely read bridal (+ a birdcage viel and a little shrug maybe?). If you're not put off by black (again, veil and accessories can help) then this is to die for and super re-wearable. Or embrace the chill vibes and go yellow! They have loads of great options.
I'm sure you already know this but just in case: Reformation does bridal. Like their normal dresses, the options skew towards people with model proportions but they've got some gorgeous ones - love this minimal take. I'd also recommend Wolf & Badger again. Do you want to be a hot and cool minimalist? A sea foam mermaid? (I'd personally have the slits closed a bit and the whole thing taken up but that's me). A ball of spring flowers? The Badge has you covered.
And then of course, a net a porter troll. Are you a disco queen? The most elegant woman alive? (Prob not best for the park, but def could work for a pub). A garden fairy? A jumpsuit (!) babe? A queen of less is more? (maybe with tulle gloves!) A column queen? (I'd style with blue shoes that match, I have this pair from Ferragamo that I love).
Again for lots of these I think accessories are key. You add a veil, a glove (consider short too!), a white shoe and all the sudden, bang it's clearly bridal. I hope some of that is helpful, and good luck!
(okay also you did not ask about this but just a thought: you can get really beautiful, affordable, old embroidered white table clothes fairly easily online and at antique shops. How gorgeous would your wedding picnic be on all white 'blankets'? Maybe with something waterproof underneath because, London).

Western Wedding Dresses
Western wedding dresses typically refer to the traditional styles of bridal gowns worn in Western cultures. These dresses often feature elements like white or ivory color, long trains, intricate lace, beadwork, and elegant silhouettes. Some common styles include:
Ball Gown: Known for its full skirt and fitted bodice, often seen in fairy-tale or princess-themed weddings.
A-Line: A classic and versatile silhouette that flares out gently from the waist, resembling the letter "A."
Mermaid: Fitted through the bodice and hips, flaring out at the knees. This style is often associated with a glamorous look.
Sheath: A slim, narrow cut that follows the body's natural line, often minimalistic and elegant.
Tea-Length: A shorter dress that falls between the knee and ankle, often vintage-inspired.
Bohemian: A relaxed, free-spirited style that may feature flowing fabrics, floral patterns, or lace.
Western wedding dresses can range from simple and understated to extravagant and elaborate, with a variety of fabrics like silk, satin, tulle, and lace. Accessories like veils, tiaras, and gloves are often used to complement the look.

Sun 9th Oct:
Bagel + banana for breakfast. Also not pictured: a cinnamon roll I saved from the waste at work which I ate while my tea was brewing.
Met my sis in law and just 'nipped into the bridal shop to try on a few styles'... and my dudes I bought my fucking wedding dress. That is insane! I had been dreading trying gowns on in case I looked dumb in them with me being so short but this was the second one I tried on and we both loved it. Tried another few but kept thinking about this one, which I've been eyeing up online since we got engaged. We went out for lunch, got our nails done, and I went straight back to the shop to buy the dress on my way home. No point in dragging it out and going to loads of different places trying on loads of dresses. This one is well within my budget and won't need much altering; just the length to shorten, straps to take up and bodice to take in a little bit. Might possibly get a little sparkle put through the lace as it's quite plain. But I love it! And I'm so excited now I have it. Hope everyone's Sunday has been lovely 🥰🥰

Bridal Style Tips for a Perfect Beach Wedding
Tumblr media
A beach wedding embodies the essence of romance, freedom, and natural beauty. The soothing sound of waves, the soft sand beneath your feet, and the picturesque backdrop create an unforgettable setting.
However, planning a bridal look that complements the beach environment requires careful consideration. From choosing the perfect wedding dress to nailing your makeup, here’s a quick guide to ensure you look stunning on your special day.
Choosing the Perfect Beach Wedding Dress
The key to selecting the ideal beach wedding dress lies in balancing comfort and style. Here are some tips to guide your decision:
Fabric Selection: Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics like chiffon or tulle. These materials flow beautifully with the sea breeze and keep you cool under the sun.
Silhouette: A-line and sheath silhouettes are popular choices for beach weddings. They offer a relaxed fit that’s easy to move in, yet they maintain a flattering shape.
Length: Consider a dress with a shorter hemline, like tea-length or high-low styles, to avoid dragging the fabric through the sand. If you prefer a full-length gown, a lightweight, flowy train that can be easily bustled is ideal.
Detailing: Minimalist designs with delicate lace or subtle beading are perfect for a beach wedding. Avoid heavy embellishments that may feel too formal or cumbersome in a casual, outdoor setting.
Color: While traditional white is timeless, don’t shy away from subtle shades like ivory, blush, or champagne, which can complement the natural tones of the beach.
For a beautiful selection of high-quality wedding dresses that would potentially match a beachside wedding, we recommend Ladivine! They have a pulse on the latest wedding dress trends and each of their dresses exemplifies quality. Visit their website to browse through their selection.
Footwear for the Sand and Sea
Your footwear choice is crucial when navigating sandy terrain. Here are some options to consider:
Barefoot Sandals: These are an elegant and comfortable option. They mimic the look of sandals with intricate beadwork or lace but leave your soles bare, making it easy to walk on the sand.
Flat Sandals: If you prefer a bit of protection, choose flat sandals with simple, delicate straps. Opt for styles embellished with pearls or crystals for a touch of bridal elegance.
No Shoes: Embrace the beach vibe and go barefoot. Adorn your feet with anklets or toe rings for a bohemian touch.
Bridal Hairstyling for a Beach Setting
Beach weddings often come with breezy conditions, so it’s essential to choose a hairstyle that can withstand the elements:
Loose Waves: Soft, flowing waves are a classic choice that complements the beach setting. Use a lightweight mousse or sea salt spray to enhance natural texture and hold.
Braided Styles: Braids are both practical and beautiful for a beach wedding. Consider a fishtail braid, a braided crown, or a half-up, half-down style with braids to keep your hair in place.
Updos: For a more polished look, opt for a low bun or chignon. These styles can be adorned with seashells, pearls, or floral accents for a beachy touch.
Accessories to Complete Your Look
Accessorizing is all about enhancing your bridal style without overwhelming it:
Jewelry: Opt for delicate, minimalistic pieces. Pearl earrings, a simple necklace, or a dainty bracelet can add a touch of elegance without being too heavy or flashy.
Veil Alternatives: If you want to forgo a traditional veil, consider a flower crown, a bohemian-inspired headband, or a chic hairpin. These options are more suited to a beachy atmosphere.
Bouquet: Incorporate tropical flowers like orchids, plumeria, or hibiscus into your bouquet. Add elements like seashells or driftwood for a unique, beach-inspired arrangement.
A Beautiful Beach Wedding Starts With the Perfect Wedding Dress
A beach wedding offers a unique and breathtaking setting for your special day. By carefully considering your wedding dress, accessories, hair, and by embracing the natural beauty of the surroundings, you can create a bridal look that’s both stylish and comfortable! CHAPTER WARNINGS: none applicable
A NOTE FROM THE AUTHORESS: This fic is dedicated to SkullWoggle on AO3 and @rock-a-noodle on Tumblr.
WORD COUNT: 1251
“Oh wow, look at this dress, Molly Anne!” Princess Annette said as she pulled a dress off from the dress rack and held it up. “Isn’t it pretty?”
“Uh…” I eyeballed the giant, poofy dress which honestly reminded me more of a heavily frosted cupcake. “It’s a bit too much for my taste, for certain.”
It was the next day, and the five Ratajczyk princesses- Annette, Pamela, Barabra, Patricia and Cathy, had treated me to a day at Brooklyn’s top bridal salon. The eldest sister had told me that as a wedding gift, they were contributing two hundred dollars each for my dress.
I was staring blankly at a random dress when a bridal consultant came up to is. Dressed in a smart black skirt and a sweet smile, she automatically made me feel beautiful.
“Hello, your highnesses!” she greeted us in a cheerful tone of voice. “Who’s my bride?”
I raised my hand timidly, Annette gently pushing me forward.
“I’m Molly Anne,” I meeped, shaking her hand.
“Hello Molly Anne, I’m Britney,” she introduced herself. “Tell me about what your dream dress looks like.”
“I just want to feel pretty,” I explained. “I don’t want a white dress if you can help it, though. Something I can wear again, most definitely! My budget is a strict thousand dollars- I cannot afford to go over not want to go over even by a penny.”
“Where will you say your vows?” was Brittney’s next question.
“The king and I will be saying our I do’s in a garden,” I answered vaguely- the king had told me to be secretive about where we would be getting married as to keep myself and the twins safe.
“Okay, I think I have an idea of what you’ll want to try on!” Brittney took me off into a room to wait while she went and pulled some dresses for me to try on.
When she came back ten minutes later, she was hauling five or six different dresses over her shoulder, which she hung up before asking me which one I wanted to try on.
“Surprise me,” I told her, smiling when she pulled out a soft bubblegum pink tea length dress with a tulle skirt and fitted bodice.
“Do you have shoes picked out?” Brittney asked me as she laced me into the corset styled back.
“I’m possibly going to do embroidered flats, like maybe Converses,” I told her, blanching at the sight of me in the mirror. “Uh, no. this dress clashes horribly with my hair.”
Brittney just laughed as she helped me out of the dress and into a second, this one being a soft baby blue with glittery tinsel.
“This one is pretty, but…” I trailed off, unable to put my finger onto why I didn’t care for this bridal dress.
“It doesn’t match your wedding aesthetic?” she finished for me as she helped me into dress number three.
Dress number three was a pale green mermaid with white lacey sleeves. I told her that I liked the color, but not the fit. Finally, it came down to the final two dresses.
One was very clearly a wedding dress, a soft white color with colorful embroidery scattered across the full trumpet shaped skirt, the fitted bodice and the slightly poofy sleeves. The second dress was simpler, also a soft white in color, the skirt coming to my knees with elbow length sleeves and bright colorful flower embroidery on the skirt and bodice.
“The second one,” I told her with an excited squeak, stepping into the dress and then promptly bursting into tears of joy when she zipped it up. “It’s perfect!”
Brittney just beamed at me as she handed me a tissue to dry my eyes with before opening the door and letting me sweep out into the area that the five princesses occupied.
“Oh, you look so gorgeous, Molly Anne!” gasped Barbara, wiping at watering eyes.
“I do think that this is your dress!” smiled Cathy as she clapped her hands together.
“I thought you would pick something a bit more,” Pamela said before letting out a shrug. “But this is a good surprise!”
“I love this dress,” I sniffled happily, giving the princesses a twirl. “I think this is my dress- what says you royals?”
I was met with a chorus of agreements and I smiled as the sight of me in the mirror. I ran my hands down the sides and froze.
“And I found the best part about this dress!” I announced with a giggle before showing them my finding. “Pockets!”
Everyone laughed at my childish discovery, Brittney glancing at the price tag.
“This dress is seven hundred and seventy nine dollars,” she announced. “So that will leave you with two hundred twenty one dollars to spend!”
“Do you want to get anything else?” Cathy asked me in a kind voice.
“No, I don’t think so,” I was unable to wipe the please smile from my face. “I think the dress is honestly enough as is.”
“Are you sure? I can get the veil that has been used for the past nine generations, if you would like,” Princess Patricia offered me.
“You mean the lace cathedral veil that’s on display at the Brooklyn historical museum?” I asked, automatically blanching. The legendary Ratajczyk royal family cathedral veil was a beautiful thing of history, a delicate thing that I knew would cause ever more anxiety over me making sure it wouldn’t become dirty or torn. “Honestly, I’d rather not. The king and I are to be wed outside after all.”
“Ah, good point,” she smiled. “But do you at least want to wear any of the displayed family jewels as your something old?”
“I’ve always liked those simple blue sapphire ear studs,” I confessed.
“Yes, with that jeweled flower pendant?” she grinned. “Perfect! I’ll bring them with me when I meet you and Peter and the girls beforehand, alright?”
I smiled before turning and returning back into my assigned dressing room to change back into my jeans and turtleneck sweater.
