So when I first watched Revenge of the Island, I didn’t think too hard about Staci’s rambling and I just assumed she had a very weird family tree.

Then I read the wiki and saw her label was The Compulsive Liar.

I would not have lasted more than a day if I were to compete alongside Alejandro.

The Total Drama subreddit is a fucking nightmare and I’m never leaving. (And yes, I did go with the most cursed option. The house was already on fire, throwing in fireworks wasn’t gonna make it worse.)

(Not gonna lie, before I saw the “wrong answers only” I was scared that this person didn’t know it was glue. Like, I was seriously concerned that this person didn’t see Brick empty an entire bottle of Elmer’s into a duffel bag. Also, how the fuck does he know how to make a clothing bomb? Voices in my head: Staci’s character was completely useless in total drama revenge of the island (tdri).

Firstly the stereotype she is based off of is the girl who talks too much? That trait is almost only exploitable in an interesting way if it is in a school setting and even then is awful much like Ezekiel in Island with picking his nose and misogyny.

Secondly the only productive thing she did was demonstrate the effect of toxic waste on a person which Dakota does later so her losing her hair has no substance. We also see what happens to the island.

Thirdly, to add her to the show they had to make the conscious decision to have an odd number of contestants unlike every other season. Although World Tour introduced 3 new contestants Blainley was introduced as a host and not added on at the beginning when teams were in consideration and she actually helps to show characteristics of others like Owen, Chef, Chris, and Geoff/Bridgette’s relationship.

Fourthly, back to the stereotype, it is harmful. The idea women talk to much is bland and toxic. Many studies show men talk more in conversations with and staci, if the gender of her character was reversed, could have shown a genuine issue with mansplianing and-

Total Drama Models Feet - Part 2 (TDI - TDWT) (TDRI)

The grand continuation of the Island reimagining.

I wanted to go all out and extend the cast to a solid 24, but there are only 45 or so other contestants (and Blaineley, but her specific case is kinda hard to replicate). There is one character I could put in a supporting role and add back in later but…

Anywho, Revenge, Pahkitew, and the reboot have their casts split between them across two seasons. Revenge stays together alongside two OCs and nine PI and I2 contestants, all undetermined. With that out of the way:

The Friendship Finale F’trio. Aside from Cameron’s bead eyes it’s all a matter of stylization instead of an outright redesign, although Zoey’s sporting a neat tattoo.

Most of Mikey’s alters are a little more down to earth in their characterization, seeing as they all would’ve had to manifest in several very different parts of the world to exist as they do. Mal instead goes from relatively normal to halfway between Izzy and Scary on the energy scale. Mike himself dials up his awkwardness.

Zoey and Cam are more or less the same, although their mutual lack of social skills are played up.

These three don’t really need changing either, although between Heather’s alliance growing from three to five in the Island concept and the canon reboot having three full time antagonists, I’m looking into Jo being a more active villain.

Aaaand this is the point I kinda got experimental with the redesigns. Lightning’s bead eyes, B’s neck, and whatever I did with Scott’s face are all one thing, it’s mostly Dawn and how I did to her what I did to Cody.

It’s funny how the eyes that canon Staci has make her look high all the time. Remember, TDRI’s getting a full length so Staci gets fleshed out a bit more before she inevitably gets Zeked. Again, Dakota and Sam need relatively little changing, but Dakota at least won’t be mutated this time.

Voices: Same with Beardo. The kid who makes sound effects isn’t a thing. They just needed to add a character to get eliminated first. Beardo was an ackward guy who just annoys everyone around him with stock sound effects. Frankly they could have just made the 2 and 3 gens better by combining them and getting rid of the useless filler characters.
