rules under the cut .

#1 - mun . reynard, he / they, transmasc , 25. i am from france so english is not my first language and i may not share the same timezone. activity will depend on a day to day basis. discord is available for mutuals on request !

#2 - content . primary verse is based off rottmnt for the most part, with influence from other iterations as well as headcanons. there will be aus / verses such as the last ronin.

content warning applies for any verse. there will be themes such as body horror, violence, blood, angst, mental illness and disorders, difficult childhood. not everything will be tagged but if you need anything specific to be, do come to me so i can tag it ! i use the following format: " cwname // ".

as for posting style, i use small icons, a small font, bold, italics and colors. trying to keep it to a middle-ground, however i can change it up for our interactions if you have troubles with any.

regarding other's posts, i don't care whether you use icons or not, nor about fancy formatting. just keep it readable, aka cut your texts, and don't use overly whacky fonts. i'm not big on purple prose, either.

#3 - following & interacting . crossovers with dc / marvel, other iterations of the turtles as well as any modern verse muse will be welcome ! duplicates are a-okay with me, i just don't follow these first. ocs are fine too, provided you have at least a basic bio. i am mildly selective in my following, keeping to blogs i wanna see on my dash and / or interact with.

i will interact with mutuals only ! as long as we follow each others, feel free to send in memes, unprompted asks or starters or anything, really.

personal blogs can follow, but will be blocked if interacting with any posts. it just messes things up.

#4 - shipping . i am open to shipping. and that includes all sorts of dynamics ! love to explore a bunch of these. i am fine with pre-established stuff too, provided we discuss it beforehand. though, it must fit into the other present rules.

romantic ships are not off the table. however i'll only romantically ship mikey with muses into his age range ( and again, that don't go against other rules ) and will stay selective about it.

any ships require chemistry foremost. including betweens muns, as i would much rather be able to discuss things out !

#5 - no-nos . anything in this section is not up to debate. nor will i feel the need to justify myself.

no suggestive content or lemon. michelangelo is a teen so don't get weird ! absolutely no incest / tcest.

no tolerance for drama, and i'd rather stay away from callout posts unless they serve more than petty purposes.

no bigotry, queerphobia, racism, or any sort of hate or what have you. general etiquette and common sense applies: don't be a douche.

#6 - mains & exclusives . well, i don't actually deal in exclusives. i am down to interact with multiple version of a single muse, though they'll be independent from each others. on the other hand, i may consider affiliates later down the road.

mains are a thing. it needs to be discussed first ! once we are mains, you basically allow me to break into your inbox anytime, tag you, post unprompted interactions, yell about our muses in dms. and vice versa.

#7 - credits roll . for all graphics i use the psd zone 6 by andsaintsources with some tweaking. icon caps are from the shows or comics.

My roleplay style ranges from semi literate to advance literate, mainly being advanced literate. The length and detail of the responses will vary depending on what I receive in return.

I do have a personal OC for myself that I roleplay as but I do also roleplay as the characters listed as well, all I ask is you inform me of your preference (if I do roleplay any of the brothers they are aged up between 19 to 28)

NSFW/18+ roleplay is available. Doesn’t happen by default, if NSFW roleplay is something you’d like or a topic you’d prefer not happen please inform me. (I will be requesting your personal rules before roleplaying)

Open to a variety of themes ranging from NSFW to angst or darker themes if you’d wish.

I have slim to no triggers but NO ON T-CEST. If you have any triggers please let me know before beginning so I am aware of what they are and stay away from the topics or triggers. (as I said, will be asking for rules before the roleplay)

OC’s are absolutely accepted, no problem! But all I request is with your OC you aren’t god modding (character being able to do practically anything without limits or boundaries). I love to learn about people’s OC’s and see the creativity but god modding does kill an RP for me.

With roleplaying I can do with or without a plot yet I do prefer a plot if available. Wether either of us have one in mind or come up with one together, its just a good start for a roleplay in my opinion. If starting with no plot and seeing were a roleplay goes is your preference I can also go with that and will try to guarantee a good start.

Reply time will not always be fast! I do have a life outside of this blog consisting of college and work but I do try my best to respond as quickly as possible. I do tend to inform the person when my reply time will take a bit or be delayed.

I want you to have fun and enjoy the RP and will try my best to help do that for you and keep it interesting!

Got several separate asks wondering if I might lose followers because I read turtlecest (btw when did that become the official fandom term? I'm so old I remember when It used to be called yaoi and turtle on turtle, how recently did turtlecest become the term? I understand, since they live together and call themselves family, and they're still brothers, being completely alone as far as inability to breed with anyone, and they're also in a clan, a brotherhood) and I support fiction writers and artists who do controversial and dark stuff.

Back then, there wasn't enough internet, but even then the defense was: It's fiction. It's complete fiction, plus of course if you don't like it, don't read it, Also they're Turtles, it actually happens in the wild, they are mutants, they're the only ones of their kind, they might not be blood related, both creators have actually mulled it over, it's fiction, they're not real, writers can write what they want, they're animal mutants, they're fictional, it's not real, they're mutants, it's not real, don't read it.).

So anyway, I already got a drop in followers, but I have no idea if it's because I firmly support the creating of fictional works that are dark, controversial, upsetting, extreme, unconventional, taboo in many places, etc, or if it's because I blog a fucking lot and take up people's dash with my ramblings. If it is the first thing, I am completely fine with that. I will just smile and give a thumbs up, because I firmly support noping out of something that feels uncomfortable and upsetting. If something in a fandom fanfiction genre bothers me, I get away from it and I don't discuss it without good cause outside small circles. I do not ever think it would ever cross into reality, because I know better, especially with my own weird mentally ill brain.

I have never wanted to act on any taboo fiction I have read. I bet very few readers have, and anyone who does obviously needs to have some interventions, therapy, or medicine, so they don't cause harm to themselves or others, as they are the tiny percentage of people who might do such things, and I stay far away. Antis don't seem to understand this.

I just feel very very confused and irritated and frustrated and exasperated about antis, Example, the campaign with "tcesters don't interact" - the fandom knows that happens anyway, that some of the best most beautiful fan art is created by "tcesters" who also tag their stuff and put up warnings, and if they don't they really need to. Take responsibility for your tags, and take responsibility for reading people's tags.

I loathe purity culture policing, particularly over fiction about non-human characters doing things like being in love or being sexual, particularly when said nonhuman characters are utterly unrealistic.

Some of the sweetest, kindest, most talented, most skilled, and most loving authors and artists in the fandom are those who have been threatened over doing "tcest" and for a while it set off my panic disorder. If appropriate tags and warnings are there, it is on the reader to look away. It's not really complicated. We're not going to run around doing the things from the fanfics, mostly because we kinda can't. They're mutants. They're turtle mutants. None of us have urges to try it as humans either. Dear antis, rant about all you want, but please stop making threats, because that's just up to eleven times as horrific as what you think we're writing and reading.
