some brozone Mental Eels headcanons :3 tbh i could get way more specific but for now i’m satisfied by how each bro seems to share at least one trait with the closest bro to them like some kinda fucked up trauma chain, rly shows the interconnectedness of this family good and bad

One of my favorite battles - almost 50 years old! - in the early days of the “All-New, All-Different X-Men”. 😁 The Juggernaut is so cool. He can be beaten but not stopped. Happy Throwback Thursday!

My favourite gag is Poppy thinking Branch couldn't do something and him being like, "Actually, I slayed"
(credits to @hayleysstark for subtitling those first two frames).

Effervescent with her spill of youth. She goes over her glass in steady streams.
It brings him an iota of pleasure, knowing that he did this. They both know. Plentiful is this knowing between them in the wake of silence. A word, a thought, would break it.
They're both more honest by omittance.
“Neither. Both.”
The trajectory of his voice follows the tight wrenching curl of bone, a wing knotted into place. His own fingers curl over the rung before him. His right and his left hand.
“Your mouth is as careful with secrets as your eyes. What do you think they see?”
@nightmarefuele
There it was. The flash of a boy. The profile of a ghost. Some shadow at a party, something just beyond reach. A glimmer. The tip of her tongue. An unwavering eye contact that was too much and too close and impossible to break.
There it was. The truth. Brunnhilde would admit that she liked the games, the predatory circle. The pacing, the testing, the black water of his eyes.
“Would I be your right hand or your left?”
It was an honest question, one born of understanding. She understood. That was the thing about the truth; it demanded to be understood.
He offered flight. Freedom though, that she doubted. She flew behind glass and consoles. She had no wings other than those that whined and whistled in the wind.
"Would I be your eyes too, then? - Would I be your mouth?"

Throwback Thursday: This 1860s greeting card sent to Princeton student George Sheldon, Class of 1863, proves it isn't just our own generation that is obsessed with cats.

Throwback Thursday! This archival image, snapped circa 1899, depicts paleoartist Charles Knight working on a scale model of the dinosaur Stegosaurus. In life, this species could measure 28 ft (8.5 m) long and weigh about 6,000 lbs (2,720 kg). But when this animal was discovered, paleontologists were surprised to find that its skull—and brain—were disproportionately small. In fact, some scientists thought this massive herbivore must have had a "second brain" near its hips that controlled the back half of its body. Turns out, Stegosaurus did manage with just one relatively small brain.
