super happy that ppl keep telling me the playlist cover for mercury drowning is genuinely disturbing to them bc that was the intent. but it is also very funny to me as a guy who kinda finds the idea of being deep underwater comforting and just not at all scary even though i probably should
#tbh one of the reasons i drew nya so underdressed in that image was to straddle this line#between the idea of the deep dark pressure of the ocean as an oppressing force#and as a comforting embrace of nothingness#its meant to make her feel even more vunerable
