#og post #ask #anon #tbh hed probably be a libertarian or something #i think the reason modern versions rub people wrong despite this always being easy to read in his character #is that to be frank hes very emotional. like hes intelligent and centers his entire being on logic but his motivations for everything #are actually on personal levels.#i cant really see him being earnestly anywhere on the political spectrum #because hed be likely to shift around the moment somebody slights him #so when versions present him as this borderline fash it annoys fans because it typically goes hand in hand with erasing #the more unstable and emotionally interesting parts of his character
