i was a bit disappointed with this season ngl, definitely my least favorite season of the series so far

action sequences were really good but i felt like a few episodes were just straight meaningless action scenes and that definitely felt unnecessary to me

WAY TOO MANY BIG JOHN SCENES oh my god look i get it, it’s a miracle the guy turned up alive and shit but i am not john b i do not give two shits about this rather mean looking man and i felt like he was on my screen more than the main cast

shoutout to his actor tho. he did a great job portraying him

i thought i would be a jiara shipper but i don’t like them together at all… i lowkey hate that the writers now literally paired kie with every guy of the pogues when that seems so out of character for her

saw a post about kie being lesbian and you know what? y e s. even though i think a love interest wouldn’t be necessary for her to begin with

i’m a jjpope girlie sorry their chemistry is just chef’s kiss but it’s never gonna happen bc according to the writers there’s not a single gay on that silly lil island

not the sarah x topper drama getting reused from last season… i love sarah but girl what the hell

speaking of topper i thought it was fun how they included him in the train heist

but the way sarah manipulated him and used him… i’m no fan of his at all but i did feel for him bc he pulled so much for her and she went straight back to john b 😭

the main villains (ward and rafe) of the past two seasons became pretty much irrelevant this season?? huh???

rafe did a near complete 180 out of nowhere… which was strange

like this man’s whole trauma was solely fixed on getting love and respect from his father and the whole donating the cross situation really sucked if you look at it from rafe’s perspective but i do not believe that THAT was all it took to suddenly become so hostile towards ward. even if he still ended up saving him.

this guy was so stuck in the cycle of violence from the pilot up to the final episode of season 2 and his character development was so interesting to see (that scene in s2 when he says he’s not okay and needs help and ward tells him to man up still stuck with me) and it feels like they threw it out of the window and pretty much sidelined his character for no reason at all.

new boring villain is introduced and gets killed in the same season

they’re such a fun dynamic like give me that please i’ve been asking for this before s2 even came out

the pogues had pretty much 2 scenes together and that’s it… i had hoped to see more of them and their dynamics and just more of them on that deserted island??? wasted potential oh my god

is it just me or was the filming style a lil different this season…

wasn’t rafe’s love interest supposed to be a bigger thing? because the few scenes he shared with her were completely irrelevant and so was her entire character tbh 😭

rafe and kie teaming up… was awesome i loved it

jj and kie running into pope and cleo when they were just about to get off the bus and immediately had to run from people with big ass guns is peak obx energy and i thought it was hilarious

i audibly gasped at the time jump!! such a weird way to end the season, it almost seemed like a series finale but knowing that season 4 is already confirmed i’m genuinely wondering what direction they’re gonna take this. the root of it all was that they were looking for the treasures because some of them were connected to it in their own ways (john b and the royal merchant bc of his dad, pope and the cross/denmark tanny bc family) and rafe and ward were perfect villains up until this season.

if there’s something i want to see in the next season, it’s just more pogue scenes, strengthening their own characters and developments and their dynamics with the other pogues. we really do not need the same romance drama every season. it’s boring and frankly annoying. honestly in this show there’s so much going on that i don’t feel like each one of the pogues needs to end up with someone. i would love to have jarah and jjpope as endgame and have kie and cleo end up solo or maybe have other love interests (but not really).

just give me the pogues doing what they do best — bickering while they’re off chasing some mystery and putting their lives at risk and miraculously getting out of it alive and well.

because season 3 was just weird. really weird. idk this is all for now but i might add more later!

(Or: The Xhorhouse isn't the Xhorhouse, and what none of the Mighty Nein seem to realize is that they're not exactly the only ones living there.)

Notes: I kept agonizing over this for ages before i remembered that half the reason I started this series in the first place was to learn to not be a perfectionist with my writing. this didn't turn out really how i wanted it to but i like it anyway so,,,

cad isn't given an exact age, apparently he was stated to be 80-100 and then 85-120 so i just met in the middle and said he's definitely a lot older than the rest of the gang and essek's age or younger. might revisit the original concept of this to try to do it a little better some day, but probably not tbh. basically this was supposed to be either "the xhorhouse gains some level of sentience and a personality resembling molly's at least a little bit bc of all the latent magic + blood spilled + magical artifacts laying around & their effects mixing unpredictably from being in close proximity for extended lengths of time + THE TREE + the power of the m9's sheer love and belief they don't even realize they're pouring into it" or "molly's spirit somehow attaches itself to the xhorhouse"

Here is the thing about people: they have a spark.

Every person, of every kind (and, it can be argued, and indeed proven, perhaps every animal, and plant, and rock, and inanimate object and non-person as well—but that is for another day), regardless of heritage, upbringing, or apparent learned or innate magical ability, has within them potential. Of what exactly, the answer varies.

But the thing about potential is that it's powerful.

And the thing about people—especially people who don't know that they are in control of powerful things—is that they often are prone to a few different things: sentiment, stupidity, and belief, among others.

More often than not, these tendencies happen to go together.

And when a lot of people, of a lot of different potentials, with a lot of power and sentiment and not a small bit of stupidity between them come together, and believe, just for a moment, even quietly, in one single idea—

Well.

A lot of things can happen.

  "The M.T. Home."

"M.T.? What's—?"

"M.T., for Mollymauk Tealeaf."

"...Oh."

"Meet in the middle, maybe? M.T. Home, with the Xhorhouse Spa?"

"I think I like that."

This is just the one step of many in this long, strange journey, but it's an important one—not that any of them will be aware of that for a long while.

  "We're calling it the M.T. Home now!"

Essek freezes.

"The... Empty Home?"

The tiefling just smiles brightly at him.

"Yep! Caleb came up with it!"

"And we have a hot tub, now," the monk pitches in.

"Right! The Xhorhouse Spa," the tiefling—Jester, was it? He should really make an effort to remember their names, unfortunately—announces, waving her hands through the air like she's envisioning it painted on a sign or a wall somewhere.

Dear gods, he hopes they don't decide to make a sign.

Well. The Empty Home, then. (He is not going to acknowledge the other half of the title given if it means giving merit to that atrocious pun.)

He glances at each of the group before him, all looking either a little sheepish, incredibly proud of themselves, or fondly amused at their fellows' antics.

None of them seem to think that the name they've just given him is in any way unsettling, or might have any political implications.

Essek breathes deeply through his nose, and takes a moment to remind himself that Heroes of the Dynasty though they may be, loose ends, returners of gods, potential threat to everything he's been doing and all, the oldest among them by decades is—at most—Essek's age. And that one's not exactly the sharpest of the bunch, either, when it comes to these things.

Alright, Essek decides. The Mighty Nein now live in the Empty Home, then, and there's no reason that needs to get back to anyone else with political weight. Maybe he can save these fools from themselves for a little while longer. (They may yet have use.)

Essek forces a polite smile, shuffles them on to other topics of more import, and tries not to think about all the other empty homes he's known.

  It's almost kind of funny, Essek thinks, because for all that they call it the Empty Home, every time he enters, it feels more and more full of life in a way he's never quite experienced before.

There are wind chimes behind the front door, murals on the walls, stray weapons and baubles littered on shelves and floors, incense coming from some room or another, the smell of something divine cooking coming from another, new wall-hangings or tshotskes or pieces of furniture everywhere he looks, often one or more animals dashing about and making themselves at home in various nooks and crannies, fires burning in every hearth, yelling and singing and laughter in so many languages from every corner, the faint taste and blur of colors left from lingering magic, one more shelf in the library full to the brim with new books and one more overstuffed throw-pillow on the floor, the tree—no, he couldn't possibly forget the tree.

So full of life—he almost doesn't think to question it when there's just a little more.

Almost. But Essek didn't get this far this young by writing off important details.

Details like how whatever book Caleb's looking for always seems to be pressed just a little further out than all the others, easy for him to find and grab quickly, always when he's so wrapped up in talking theory with Essek that he doesn't even notice it.

Details like how unlocked doors always seem to open just before anyone puts their hand on the knob, how a loose tile flicks up beneath feet anytime someone tries to eavesdrop on anything, sending them sprawling, like the way a floorboard will somehow manage to get itself playfully caught in Fjord's cloak to allow Jester or Nott or Beau a head-start in running after pulling some sort of prank on him, or how none of the blood that's inevitably spilt ever stains the tile or the wood or the wall before someone thinks to clean it.

Details like how when the group gathers for a meal as he leaves, Essek can just catch that none of them really have to pull out their chairs, or indeed, push them in again, and none of them think much of it; or how if you watch very closely, the dimensions of the whole building will shift ever-so-slightly, rounding corners and opening up entrances a bit more, doming ceilings, anytime one of them sings or plays an instrument, until it can be heard through the whole house.

Details like how the house is being helpful. Details like the house caring for its occupants, or, dare he say, even doting on them. Details like how, for how incredible they are at so many things, the Mighty Nein are still the dumbest people he knows in that none of them seem to realize that any of it is happening.

One week of rare consistent good weather for Rosohna, Caduceus, Jester, Nott, and Yasha (with occasional assistance from Fjord) systematically take out every single window and replace them all with new, hand-made stained glass windows. Some of them make pictures or patterns, and some do not, but all of them are obviously from random shards of glass they'd collected from who-knows-where, cleaned, and re-purposed, not made for this use.

When they're done, they let all the windows open to test them, show them off, let in the fresh air, and enjoy the nice day. When they do, Essek takes notice of how they each nudge just a bit more this way or a little more that way as soon as they aren't looking, until they're all in just the right positions to catch the light being given off by that gods-forsaken tree.

It almost seems—and he hates to make the comparison, but Essek can't help but think that—it almost looks like it's preening.

An Empty Home indeed, it had been empty for so long, before these terribly good assholes moved in—he can't even remember the last thing his Den must've used it for before this.

How very long it was empty.

How very long it had, to wait for something else to move in.

Essek wonders if it was always like this... or if something finally did.

osamu is at a loss when it comes to typical beauty standards tbh

to him, weight (and most things) are similar to..hand size, for example

just like how you can’t imagine someone feeling self-conscious about the size of their hand (especially if their hand is a healthy size) 

he can’t imagine why some one would be shamed for their weight (especially if they’re a healthy size)

so had no idea you could possibly be insecure about something like that and he probably on realised after a few years in the relationship 😅

there was a formal event coming up and y’all were going as dates so you wanted to shop for outfits together

anyway, he was on a dress site, scrolling away until you pointed out one that you thought was pretty - and it matched the color of the tie osamu bought too!

as you can tell, he’s generally not shallow but sometimes when y’all are just cuddling and your face is pressed to his chest, the words ‘you’re so cute’ just fall from his lips

Nobody knows how or why, but they just catch on so fast--adapt the language in a matter of weeks. Never underestimate the power of combined boredom, depression, and humor

I swear to god I just see MC taking them their Blanc/Rouge and being like “here you go sir, one enslaved moisture” and they just go fucking hog wild from day one. MC starts impersonating Theo when he leaves the room around Dazai, like fake deep voice “you all only hate me because you do not like me and I am mean to you. grow up.” Or like the MC meets a baby on her travels with Leo around town and she holds them and says v seriously and sagely “So you are Baby? I have heard tales of your exploits.” and Leo about loses his shit right there. They both think MC is the funniest person alive--they’ve never been more eager to throw a ring at someone in their entire life.

Also a bonus for my beloved Dazai:  MC, facing even the slightest inconvenience (like dropping her fork) in the most dramtic voice possible: Life is not daijoubu. Dazai: wheezing

MC, after watching Theo turn down a woman at the bar in the meanest way possible: bro quit letting the darkness consume you u r scaring the hoes Dazai, literally rolling around on the ground, half-drunk and dying:

Dazai’s expecting some sad or twisted shit, since people often feel comfortable talking about those things around him, but instead she just: “Oh, it’s you. At this point don’t be surprised if his next book is about an absolute madlad woman similar to MC

Napoleon finds it to be a delightful quirk more than anything? He doesn’t really understand it, but he finds it funny when they change their voice for effect or speak in exaggerated tones. If it’s just comprehensible enough for an outsider to understand--or Sebas gives him context--chances are it’ll send him into a laughing fit

For this one I just imagine MC singing that Ratatouille meme song obnoxiously bad while cooking, and Napoleon and Comte are just so wildly amused by it bc it makes zero sense and it’s only vaguely French at this point

They will ask all about these so-called “memes” and ask for examples of them if MC can show them (either somehow accessing her phone or drawing them). MC draws Arthur the knife cat meme and he about a s c e n d s at the hilarity of it all, points and yells THEO IS HOLDING THE KNIFE. He is correct. They will be delighted and follow along eagerly, and--god forbid--will make their own based on late 19th century struggles.

Is this where Shakespeare got the idea for “What, you egg? stabs him” and “You are a saucy boy.”? I’m too scared to ask. Don’t even get me started on “The Fool jingled miserably across the floor.” That one is just too on the nose...

I can’t even imagine what would happen to Shakespeare if MC like translated vines and memes into Ye Olde English around him. Imagine she’s at one of those noble balls and hears rumors of these two guys living together and they’re so obviously gay and he says “And those gents w’re roommates.” And in the most false surprised tone ever MC just replies “oh mine own god, those gents w’re roommates.” Imagine having a wife that’s just as hilarious as you are and hits you with all the force of a bag of wet mice every time you speak in retaliation, he’s going into palpitations.

Every time Arthur does smth stupid MC just: “I Pretend I Do Not See It.”

Vincent is tickled pink by MC’s penchant for finding joy and/or amusement in nearly everything they do, and he smiles gently when he sees them muttering and laughing to themselves. He wants to be able to join them in what they love, but he has a harder time following along and understanding the darker humor sometimes. Mostly gets confused??? Please give him the easier ones to mimic and laugh when he tries--or just include him in your jokes MC. He’s babie your honor...

But he also. Will not. Stand any kind of self-deprecation or borderline verbal self-harm. He’s usually very easygoing and calm, but for whatever reason that stuff makes him go deathly quiet and upset.

MC, after something goes horribly wrong, hugging Vincent: Oh Vince, we really in it now Vincent: giggling a little despite his worries, relaxing

MC: Theo stop simping for Vincent that’s my job

MC, when Theo leaves the room and she gets Vincent all to herself: The evil is defeated.

But then he starts to drift closer to what Niles from The Nanny was, where he’ll quip and joke in private or when the situation is just beyond the amount of absurdity he can handle without making a snarky comment. Everyone in the house can’t fathom how Sebas and MC got so close so fast, but there are points where they’re just “Are they even speaking English anymore???” It’s 11 times funnier than normal because Sebas almost never smiles or laughs when memeing, the deadpan quality of his playing along sends MC every time

Okay so I have a ton of inspo to write for Stan after last nights episode and I have a lot of fic ideas and concepts I can’t get out of my brain so.. here they are lmfao. The first concept is fluffy and wholesome but the other ones are pretty dark and most involve death and blood.. fair warning hehe. ALSO if any writers see this; feel free to write something based off one of these if you’d like !! 🥺💖 I don’t mind :)

Idk why but I rlly wanna write something domestic and fluffy.. maybe some fluff with no plot djdjd. But maybe reader and Stan are friends, and are hiding in his cabin from the cannibals after a close call (maybe they decided to go hiking earlier and ran into them) and get a bit.. distracted afterwards 👁. Maybe the scare of the cannibals make them have a heart to heart and then.. they decide to stay the night in the cabin bc they don’t wanna leave bc their still scared. And maybe it’s also stormy outside or somethin hehe. and they just 👁 make out 👁 and cuddle 👁 and fall asleep together 👉🏻👈🏻. And their just both rlly grateful that they’re both alive 🥺 and together 🥺🥺

Maybe reader comes to surprise Stan bc they’ve been dating for a while but.. he’s been distant lately. Not picking up calls, and just acting rlly unlike himself. Reader doesn’t exactly know that theirs cannibals in the forest but she knows that theirs something, or that Stan believes that there’s something so she gets concerned and goes to see him. She goes straight into his cabin (maybe she has a spare key.. and it’s night so he shouldn’t be busy) and she sees his jacket, his hat, his gun.. reader grabs a flashlight and starts to look outside for him and finds a trail of blood.. reader immeadietly starts to panic but before she can probably react she sees something running in her direction full force.. but she doesn’t know it’s Stan until he literally is in her arms hugging her. Stan runs into her practically and reader realizes he’s bleeding when she sees blood on her shirt when they pull away.. He has a huge stomach wound and he’s going into shock. Reader is in complete disbelief that this is actually happening and that he could actually die, but Stan is still talking to her.. he urges her to leave and to not wait around for him and to not bother getting help. He tells her about the cannibals and reader doesn’t believe him but.. as she goes to leave to get help anyway she sees a shadow out of the corner of her eye and realizes that he probably wasn’t bullshitting. Reader goes to be with Stan and comforts him in his final moments 🥺

This is so random and not in depth/plot heavy at all but I’m just thinking about Stan confiding in reader about the cannibals.. and then she decides to playfully bite him. At first it’s a joke.. and their dating so it’s not really that weird but then she hears him moan and she completely stops.. purely laughing at the fact that he has a fucking biting kink and how ironic it is (ig this is just me saying that I think Stan has a biting kink LMAO)

Okay so I kinda hate the ending of the episode tbh so.. here’s a fix it fic idea hehe. Major spoiler warning but instead of Stan dying.. maybe he sort of is a ally to the cannibals?? Not necessarily becomes one but more so protects them and in return they protect him u know?? But to make this a fic.. maybe reader and Stan have been dating for a while and she doesn’t realize his ‘alliance’ until she goes to the forest w him.. She sees how the cannibals won’t touch him and she’s beyond fucking bewildered. However the cannibals want reader, but Stan is v protective 😌 and maybe he shoots a cannibal or two and ofc it ends in fluff.. Stan starts fussing over reader and her (little to nonexsisting) wounds and even threatens to quit his job for her but reader tells him to stop bc she’s okay 🥺 but maybe the fic ends w him quitting his job and them both leaving the national park <3

Y’all knew this was coming but a fic where Stan is a cannibal (but not full on feral tho) is necessary LOL. I’m kinda thinking about fairytale or little red hiding hood au for this one?? Maybe reader goes into the forest bc she knows that women have been going missing as of late and she’s curious 👁 and wants to investigate. She goes into the forest and finds Stan, who automatically seems sus bc of how out of it he seems.. his clothes are stained red in a couple places.. he barely makes eye contact and reader can’t help but to marvel at how sharp his teeth seem to be.. the more they talk the closer he gets.. to the point where it would almost be uncomfortable if he wasn’t so attractive and charming.. even with the scent of iron heavy on his breath, reader can’t help but to want to kiss him, to feel his mouth on hers but she also starts to feel like it’s not necessarily a choice. He seems like the primary suspect so reader feels if she wants to survive she’s going to have to seduce him… and not to mention if she truly wants to get info out of him about the missing women.

Okay so after seeing @stanvogel ’s post, I’m just thinking about Michael x Stan so.. here’s a Michael x Stan one 👉🏻👈🏻 hehe. It’s another normal day for Stan.. doing quick checks and patrols throughout the forest. Stan loved his job, he really did but this was the part he always dreaded the most. He gives the forest half a glance as he walks through - hoping that something wouldn’t happen to catch his eye or pop out at him. Hoping he could just go back to his cabin and have a easy shift but of course, he just had to see someone. Seeing people isolated in the forest wasn’t something that Stan was unaccustomed with, but the fact the individual he saw was currently drenched in blood and was still alive was something to marvel at. Stan quickly introduced himself and asked what the fuck he was doing.. after babbling some shit about satan and saying his name was ‘Michael’.. Stan had heard enough. He didn’t exactly want to take care of this lunatic but he wasn’t going to leave him out to be eaten and have his intestines ripped out either.. not on his shift if he could help it. Stan brought Michael back to his cabin, carefully cleaning up his wounds and trying not to stare at his crystal blue eyes for too long.. or his lips. Harshly reminding himself this was a guest, not someone he should even think about asking out but Michael surprisingly took the leap first. Asking if Stan was single and that’s all it took. Stan wasn’t sure if he agreed to start seeing him because he was genuinely interested or because he didn’t want him going back out to the forest and gaining the attention of the cannibals.. either way, Stan couldn’t really argue. He was simply happy that he could finally capture someone’s attention and keep it for once. Someone who would stay with him and make this job a little less lonely.. Antichrist or not.

really really like you a lot: <3 hmmm.... dmvn and dmfx are complicated because i like them both a lot it just varies how much. i always really like dmvn but usually not enough to feel compelled to write about them/seek them out unless its a v specific flavor. dmfx feels like the worlds most ship but they can be. a lot sometimes and putting them through the mortifying ordeal of learning to be close again is sometimes too much for me fdhsjfksd. again, they’re a lot, but i love them. favorite in house bl pairing by far. other than that i guess merceleth is kind of unique as it’s the only byleth/student pairing i ‘get’ as like it’s own thing. but i also believe in setleth/lettuce family rights so i usually tend toward that direction fhdsjkfs.

5 Anti LO Asks

1. RS doesn't understand the meaning of I'm misunderstood and you're the only one who sees true me trope. Just like the definition, it means their bad public image is false. The bad rumors surrounding them are false. Hades being actual slave owner. Persephone being actual murderer. Both did it with their free will and were not forced. Those are not being misunderstood. They're actually bad guys. Both should get punished. He being king and her having uncontrollable dark side don't excuse the crimes.

2. LO kinda shames Hera too? If we are to believe the Hera/Persephone parallels, then Rachel is basically shaming Hera for the sin of not marrying Hades and marrying Zeus instead. Like it clearly sympathizes with Hera, but at the same time because of how she frames HxP, it's almost as if she's like "See what you're missing, Hera? If only you picked him instead of Zeus! Then you wouldn't suffer like this!" while Persephone instead gets everything she could want bc of Hades. It rubs me the wrong way.

3. wouldnt it be a show of his sweet inner character if it turned out hades adopted kids (maybe a shade(s)? surely there are a lot of kids who died young in those times) and he was more sympathetic as a working single father who is just trying his best, because lo hades wanting kids now seems purely out of him wanting another trophy/reinforcing what is "expected" of a heterosexual man to have and not remotely parental at all. tbh he seems rather annoyed by kids? it could be handled so much better.

4. (Fp spoilers) am I over thinking this, but did the recent chapter feel like Persephone questions was some plan of sorts to overthrow hades? Like I swear if she eats the pomegranate or something behind hades back and overthrow hades, that would be a evil twist I wish would happen, but will never because Rachel need the uwu love couple to be a thing sadly.

5. (1 of 4?) Sorry this is so long- I wanted to get in everything that had to be said about this topic. It may be easier to splice these all together rather than post all of them individually. Also your choice to post or not as the content is a more sensitive side of an already sensitive topic of sexual abuse. I’m re-reading LO after some therapy and work on sexual trauma healing.

(2 of 4?) It’s something I used to enjoy when I was in a bad spot sexually and very very much believe the story is trauma reenactment. After four years working with a specialist in sexual trauma, I can identify some traits of a sexual abuse history in others. I would be extremely surprised if the author doesn’t 1have a sexual assault history. She fetishizes age differences, a lack of bodily autonomy, being a sexual object for someone, and is drawn to unhealthy (frankly kinda creepy) men.

(3 of 6?) I see an internal struggle between wanting someone safe but also being attracted to someone with inappropriate lust with a weird power dynamic. I’ve struggled with the same kind of trauma reenactment and know from experience. Which is why I was drawn to the story while I was more sexually unwell. I think this also explains the stories in the Twilight and 50 shades series and why they’re so popular among a society filled with sexual victims.

(4 of 6?) I’m not saying this to hate of victims of sexual assault by any means. Trauma reenactment is harsh reality and a horrible, upsetting, and crazy making effect from sexual assault. It’s one of the hardest pieces for victims to accept sometimes as the idea is so disgusting that things mimicking the attack could be sexualized in our brains and, for myself at least, the concept didn’t get tackled until a couple years in as I became strong enough to face my personal experiences of it.

I hope to not upset anyone if they’re realizing their own experiences with this but I think this is a major piece that has to be talked about with LO and other damaging romance stories like it. I feel for the author and sincerely hope that she gets the healing she needs. I wonder what that would look like if she ever does and chooses to speak out about the story she made and why.

(6 of 6) For now though, the story being so public and getting a netflix adaptation soon is frightening as it’s a dangerous portrayal of relationships and sexuality to show impressionable minds.

HAHA, anon, you are evil!!!! bUT. I actually have an answer to this!! Haha. I didn’t need to think about it, either! As much as I absolutely love and die for a lot of animes, I always tell people my favorite favorite anime is Erased/Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi. I read the manga later and well, the manga is even better!! The resolution of the conflict, the background of the villain, the story is much more developed/better explained in the manga, but even when the anime is not a super amazing adaptation, I still think it did an amazing job!! The reason(s) of why this is my favorite anime is(are) simple: I love every single character (except. you know. the evil ones, haha). I’m usually not that attracted to protagonists, but Satoru has my heart in his hands. I’m so attached to him. He’s selfless, smart, tries his very best and loves so deeply. I absolutely love how the author managed the women/girls in the story, too. I started watching it without knowing a single thing more than “oh, he’s trying to solve a murder” and OH BOY, did I was surprised with the very first episode!!! Never ever have screamed so much and lose my shit that much with a first ep, and that’s saying a lot asjdkasjd. Maybe it was because I didn’t know a single thing, but either way, I was obsessed since the very first seconds. I love the villain, even when people say it was “obvious, lazy or predictable” since the start. I love Satoru’s mom. I love how it is dark and sad but just the right amount. I love how much it made me feel. I sobbed, and screamed, and laughed, and almost wanted to break my laptop while watching, too, lol. It seriously is an amazing anime. The characters, dynamics, the plot, everything was so well-done! I would die for the kids, for Satoru’s mom, for Airi. Their dynamics make me melt. The writing is fantastic!! I feel like time-traveling and solving murders are delicate things that, if you don’t know how to handle, are gonna fail you. If you don’t know how to connect things, the story is not gonna feel rewarding, it’s going to feel confusing. But with Erased, everything made sense and connected until the end, which is something I’m obsessed with. Add that to the freaking stellar animation, the aesthetic of it (I still love the subtle change in colors/that black framing in the “past” asdkajf), and the fact that I’m so, so, sooo weak for thrillers + science fiction-ish and kids as protagonists, lol. So, yeah, anon, that’s my fave anime, even when I love, love, love, LOVE a lot of more. I could talk about like, maybe 30 animes with so much love it would amaze you, lol. And that’s just talking about anime, ohhh how many mangas do I love, too... But yeah!!! Even if I don’t talk about this anime enough on here, I think is criminally underrated, and I talk about it to everyone irl I know, lol.

About my favorite ship!!!! HAHA, the thing is. I have like 500 ships and I probably would die for like. 100 of them. Easily. I even have my top of faves, tbh, haha. But my ultimate favorite ship is sasunaru/narusasu. Maybe it’s a very “basic” answer, I don’t know, lol, but I seriously think they always will be. I won’t talk so much about them because then I’d never shut up and this answer is already so long ajsdkadj (I feel like that twitter thread that is like “okay, i’ll try to be brief (1/475)” LOL). But the reason why they are my fave is because I’ve never became this obsessed with a ship before. They were the first ship I felt so deeply for. They had me since the very first eps and continued to rip my heart out, to made me FEEL so much for both of them; for their longing, for their yearning, for their love for each other. The fact that they’re two broken boys who found the connection they so desperately craved for in each other? The fact that Sasuke taught Naruto, a boy who was hated all his goddamn childhood for something he didn’t even know about, what love was, what sacrificing yourself for someone was, what caring was? The fact that Shippuden is about Naruto so desperately trying to understand, trying to make Sasuke understand, and loving Sasuke so fiercely back (without giving a damn about what other people said, without giving up on him, saying that if being smart meant giving up on Sasuke than he rather being dumb all his life)? The fact that the first part of Naruto is about Sasuke doing all those little things and making Naruto feel validated, loved, cared for, seen? And then Shippuden is about Naruto screaming into a void, trying to tell Sasuke “I love you, too, I love you back, as deeply as you did, and I want you to know that even if I don’t understand, I want to understand, I want to be there for you, I care for you so much that just the very idea of you being dead or hurt gives me an attack; I want you to be okay, and I’m never giving up on you”?? The fact that I still sob like a baby every time I watch ONE minute of that last battle and the fact that Naruto answering Sasuke to “you’ve been saying that all the time, but what exactly... does that (being your friend) mean to you?” with “even if you ask me, I can’t exactly put it into words. I just... when I saw you hurting, it... kinda... hurt me, too. So much that I couldn’t stand it, that I couldn’t just leave you alone” STILL KILLS ME LIKE THE FIRST TIME EVERY SINGLE TIME I HEAR IT. LIKE GOD. MY HEART CANNOT. It’s just so emotionally rewarding seeing they make amends at the end and also discover how the other has been loving the other back just as deeply as they did. -- They’re also just a bunch of tropes I love piled up together, tbh, and the kind of characters I love having paired up. The tsundere-ish kid with a dark past, that’s so kind and so selfless and loves so deeply that it breaks him plus the kid with the tragic backstory that’s basically The Sun itself, a bit dumb but also so caring and so cool, and the one that makes the tsundere-ish boy’s heart go all doki doki. Idk, I just love my rivals trope, my “could have been childhood friends if they just had the courage to talk” trope, the “I care so deeply about you and love you with all my soul” trope, piled up with so many emotional layers and so deep emotional connection??? Oof. They’re just my very first ship and the one that practically owns my heart and soul. They have so many layers and they hurt me but also melt me and heal me and make me fall in love with their raw, pure love. They’re soulmates, your honor. Haha. They just... really make me feel so much, I can’t quite explain it. As much as I love, love, love, LOVE all my ships, they’re... different, I guess. They even made me write for them. My very first fics, my very first tryings/attempts to write was for them. And to be honest, I was obsessed with Naruto for such a long time... (maybe because it was my first anime LOL). Sasunaru/Narusasu and all their moments (that I kid you not, I remembered like every little thing in the 700+ eps, even with the NUMBER on which ep it happened, of them. The exact lines, too.) was like, everything I talked about for like. Half a year or more, LOL, and my mom wouldn’t let me lie, she knows. After school, I was in the car and was mentioning for the 50th time that moment Sasuke recognized it wasn’t Naruto in the Chuunin Exams bc Naruto used the kunai in his other leg. LOL. she was born NATALIE ROSE SERRANO, to two working class parents in new york city. she knew from a young age that she was just supposed to be rich and famous, and that something had gotten mixed up somewhere and she was put in the wrong life.

she also moved out to california to run away from everyone in the city that was starting to catch on to what she was doing, basically doing all the same shit but now in a New Place.. this was about 3-4 years ago, so she’s been in sunhollow for a while now doing the whole influencer thing !!

and it did work out !! at first she was definitely buying followers/likes to boost her likelihood of brand sponsorships, but eventually she faked it until she made it and actually attained influencer status. she then used her newfound internet fame ( and some classic blackmailing ) to get herself a record deal 

she also started sleeping around with pretty much any famous person she could, having very public relationships and breakups and scandals to keep her name in the press, which ultimately lead to more exposure/people following her, if only to see what she did next, which lead to even more sponsorships

eventually she stopped dancing and just focused on her influencing and more recently ( like... less than 6 months ago recently ) her music career. but she never stopped sugar babying and scamming rich stupid men, still very much using that as a means to keep up her lifestyle. she’s also done a few modeling things, but it’s mostly just like catalog work or being the face of a trendy campaign bc she’s way too short for the runway
