The results are in! After looking at the interest check survey I did last month, you spoke, and you chose to participate in an Appreciation Week for the boys and Omega!
So, in the coming weeks, I'll be rolling out another survey for you to choose the prompts. It'll be done in 2 phases. The first big selection phase will be done through a form where you can decide up to 10 prompts in different categories (SWF, Dialogue, Tropes/AU, NSFW, and color palettes). Then, in the second phase, I'll post polls here on Tumblr with the most voted in each category to get the final 7!
Regarding the event date, there was no consensus, so I'm taking @superiorsniper's suggestion and pick the week from September 3-9. I'm mad that I didn't think the 9/9 as date myself! So, thank you for your wonderful suggestion!
Why not sooner, you may ask. Why not in May, for example? Honestly, I was never fond of doing it then, simply because there are so many Star Wars fandom events during that month. I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed or having to choose between this and another event because of a schedule/free time issue.
By hosting it in September, that leave us plenty of time to choose the prompts, plan, get hyped, and create before the final date comes. I want this event to be as lay back, stress-free as possible. This is something for fun, so I'll do my best to give as much time as I can for everyone to create.
Be sure to follow the blog and stay tuned for coming news!
Also if you have questions or suggestions, reach out to me through the ask box or DM (either here or my Star Wars blog @nimata-beroya)

A difficult Sullust Rescue: TBB Appreciation Week 2023 Force Sensitive AU fic.
Here we go everyone, the first of my fanfics for @tbb-appreciation-week 2023. This one is my Force Sensitive AU with Hunter, someone being carried to safety, and the quote "I almost lost you". @skellymom and @intrepidmare, this one is for you.
Echo was lying back in the pilot seat of the Havoc Marauder as it flew through hyperspace. Everyone had washed up after the battle of Ord Mantell, so metal scents mixed with body wash in the warm craft. Everyone was resting, and Echo found the seat solid but supportive. Out of respect for Tech, the co-pilot chair was left empty. Ceiling Lights and Hyperspace lit the craft as it hummed. He couldn't shake the sense that the encounter with the Kaminoans on Ord Mantell had unlocked something in Omega and possibly Hunter. He turned back and saw Tech's goggles and saw something odd about them he hadn't noticed initially. The recording mechanism was undamaged. "Hunter, could you please take the piloting? I want to check something with the goggles," Echo called. Hunter was sitting at the control panel, watching over the craft. He turned to face Echo, nodded, and got up. Echo did likewise, and they exchanged seats. When Echo sat at the control panel, he looked at the goggles and saw the cracked case, which complicated the extraction. Echo knew that if he wasn't careful with the goggles, the entire recording from the goggles could be lost. Initially, Echo attempts to link the goggles directly to the control panel. After a brief struggle, he gets it linked up. Echo failed to get the goggles to connect due to connector damage. "Then let's try a hologram," Echo thought as he detached the goggles. He found a spare hologram and worked to establish a connection. It took about a minute, but the hologram and the goggles were linked. "What are you doing?" came a voice from nearby. Echo turned and saw Omega looking at him. She had that mixed look of grief and joy. The reunion with her Kaminoan brother had given her a new strength to cope with losing Tech. "I'm trying to extract the recording data of Tech's last moments from his goggles, but I can't extract it," Echo replied. "Oh," Omega replied. She turned to Hunter, who left the pilot's seat and walked to them. "It's not talking to the control panel?" Hunter asked. "No. The link mechanism is damaged," Echo replied. "Right. Well, if we can use a wire directly to the data chip, we might be able to recover the information. Once," Hunter replied after momentary thought. "I'll get it," Omega replied. Wrecker, whom Echo had only just noticed was right behind him, pulled open a panel and exposed spare wiring. Omega grabbed a red one and brought it back to Echo. "Try placing this next to the data chip," Hunter suggested. With some help from Omega, Echo was able to connect it. And what they all discovered shocked them. Grand Moff Tarkin was holding Tech's body on Eriadu. "We've got to retrieve Tech's body. He deserves a proper burial," Echo said. "Agreed. I'll go chart a course for Eriadu," Hunter replied as he returned to the pilot's seat. Wrecker and Omega returned to their respective locations on the craft.
Meanwhile, on Mt Tantiss Dr. Hemlock had managed to calm himself after failing to capture Omega at the battle of Ord Mantell. But only just. He needed more information, not just about Omega, but Khan So, nephew of Nala Se.
It was a mild summer night on the Mountain as Dr. Hemlock headed for the detention area. There wasn't much light, only dim ceiling lights and the ray shield keeping Nala Se in her cell, making a humming noise. The solid ground was slightly damp in Nala Se's cell, and the humidity and ray shield hit his senses of smell and taste. The humidity was thanks to the vent in the ceiling, though Dr Hemlock noticed a strange band barely visible on Nala Se's wrist through her sleeve. "Nala Se. You know why I'm here," Dr Hemlock stated. Nala Se looked up, "Judging by the fact I don't see my Lab Assistant with you, I assume you failed in capturing Omega?" "Thanks to your Nephew," Dr Hemlock replied, "Which reminds me, what more information do you have on Omega and Khan," Nala Se looked down for a bit. Due to the actions of her sister, Cora Sol, and rumours about Dr. Hemlock's agenda, Nala Se was very reluctant to say anything. "I can offer you freedom," Dr Hemlock suggested, "If you spend some time on the Emperor's projects, you'll be able to spend time on your pursuits. I'll even set up your lab," Nala Se considered this momentarily, then shook her head, "I can't. The last thing I want is my nephew here, even with Omega," "Huh," Dr Hemlock noticed the guilty grimace cross Nala Se's features and thought momentarily. He decided to drop the subject of Khan and focus on Omega. "Why did you create Omega in the first place? She's younger than Alpha, yet technically older than her brothers," Dr Hemlock enquired. "I was curious about manipulating Jango's DNA for specialised Clones. I made Omega as a test subject for all types of mutant Clones, including Clone Force 99," Nala Se explained. "Thank you, Nala Se. You have survived longer," Dr Hemlock replied before departing. Two members were under the Empire's control. Now, they needed the others. Even Echo would be handy.
Grand Moff Tarkin, as it transpired, wasn't on Eriadu. He was on Sullust. It was hot for a Spring day in the volcanic world, and the glow of lava, ceiling lights and a holoprojector lit his quarters. The remains of Tarkin's breakfast, the lava and electricity for the holoprojector provided sound, smell and taste. At least the chair he's in is supportive. Everyone knows that having Anakin Skywalker as your general ages you rapidly, though nobody would notice that Tarkin had pulled his Uniform over his pyjamas. Answering the communication from Wayland, Tarkin said, "Dr Hemlock, what are you calling about?" "I was wondering if you have Tech and what you plan to do with him," Dr. Hemlock said. "I wasn't planning to do much. I was waiting for the Emperor to message me. Then we could decide. Why are you interested?" Tarkin replied. Grimacing, Dr. Hemlock replied, "Omega has slight mutations of her brothers, including Tech. I have Crosshair, and I want Tech here too," "I'm afraid I can't do that, Hemlock," Tarkin replied, and when Dr Hemlock attempted to respond, "I'm higher rank than you, technically. However, I do have an option of my own. Something that, if successful, would allow you to have all six squad members," "Oh? What is it?" Hemlock looked visibly excited by this prospect. As the lava continued to bubble behind him, Tarkin explained, "By now, I'm sure the other squad members would have discovered the recordings inside Tech's goggles. They'll be looking for his body. If I use his body as bait, I can capture them and bring them all to you," "Nice thinking, Tarkin," Dr Hemlock replied with a sinister smile, "Should I send a few Commandos to assist?" "Two Commandos should be sufficient," Tarkin replied, "We'll lay the trap then," "They'll be there within one rotation, Grand Moff," Dr Hemlock replied before the communication cut. Tarkin turned to face the facility he was overlooking and knew this was the best place to lay his trap. A day later, the Commandos arrive and set the trap. Tarkin spied the Havoc Marauder coming in to land and smirked. They had fallen right into the trap.
As the Havoc Marauder landed, Hunter sensed that something was strange. The rough and unforgiving basalt ground, the artificial lava channels, the heat, and the glow of lava assaulted his senses. Sullust was a hostile planet not easily navigated in recovering Tech's body. Worse, Omega's lungs were vulnerable to this due to her lack of helmet and youth. "Remember those breathing devices we used on the Ordo Moon?" Hunter asked. "Yeah, why?" Echo wondered as he stood with Hunter. "Omega will need one so she doesn't breathe the toxins in the atmosphere," Hunter replied. "I was thinking along similar lines," Echo admitted as he re-entered the craft to look for them. After several fruitless minutes, Echo growled, "Dammit, Tech. Where did you put them?" that growl brought on a momentary wave of grief and a renewed determination to give him a proper farewell. After another minute, Echo found them. "Found them yet?" Hunter asked from the entrance. "Yes. In the most Tech spot possible," Echo replied. This time, the grimace of grief Echo felt Hunter mirrored. "They won't fit in our helmets. And I'm unsure if it'll fit Omega," Hunter admitted once Echo rejoined him. "Remember, our helmets can protect against the toxins in the air. The filter is for Omega," Echo replied. Omega joined them upon hearing her name. Hunter and Echo worked to ensure the mask comfortably fit under her helmet, which it barely did. "You do know the Empire will know we're here by now, right?" Wrecker asked. "Tarkin would've seen us fly in. I know him well," Echo replied. "Then we'd better be careful," Hunter replied as he opened the door and departed with the rest of the squad in tow. Echo secured the craft when he left.
Shortly after setting foot on the rough and unforgiving surface of Sullust, Hunter spotted two Stormtroopers patrolling nearby. Carefully, he approached them, trying not to be detected. One of the Stormtroopers turned in his direction, and Hunter only narrowly escaped being seen. "What is it?" the other Stormtrooper asked. "Someone's there," the first one replied. The duo slowly approaches the rock Hunter is hiding behind. Seeing this, Hunter carefully moved around the niche he occupied. Suddenly, he reaches a dead end but spots another ledge twenty feet above. Hunter decided to jump towards a couple of small holes in the cliff, intending to use them to get up the wall, but instead, the next second, he found himself pulling himself onto the ledge. "How did I do that?" Hunter thought as he pulled himself into the hiding spot. "Nobody here," the first Stormtrooper shined a light through the cave but missed Hunter. "Well, we'd better get back to the prison complex. Us Stormtroopers are defending a special prisoner, according to the Grand Moff," the second Stormtrooper replied. Hunter waited until the two troopers had departed before carefully lowering himself to the ground. "The prison facility is the Stormtroopers' destination," Hunter radioed to the squad, who all acknowledged. Hunter met with the team and tracked the troopers to the prison complex. Hunter wondered if his encounter with the Force-Sensitive Kaminoans Kuan Si and Khan So had unlocked something in him. Echo follows Hunter towards the prison complex, an imposing mass of basalt and steel. Upon reaching the complex, Echo realised he must hack the computers to open the door and discover where the Empire was holding Tech. The basalt rock gave way to steel as they reached the prison complex. After securing the entrance, Echo started hacking the terminal. Echo knows he has to be careful as if he triggers any defences within, Tarkin would be alerted to how far they had already got. Echo carefully navigates his way through the security. Echo is trapped twice by hack traps but eventually manages to navigate past them. Unfortunately, Echo couldn't open the door to the prison complex, and the map was incomplete.
"Not good. Looks like we'll have to send Omega through a vent to let us in," Wrecker said. "There's one there," Hunter pointed to a black vent sticking out of the wall about ten feet away. Omega runs over to the vent and, with help from Hunter, Omega climbs inside. The air vent is hot, but not compared to the outside. Omega must Commando crawl through the vent and, though unintended, Omega is making lots of noise while moving, likely attracting attention. Carefully navigating through the vents, she finds one near the entrance. And Omega freezes. Two Stormtroopers are waiting for her in the corridor below. "You can come down, cadet. It's OK," one of the Stormtroopers calls. Omega carefully jumps down from the vent. "What were you doing in the vent, cadet?" the second Stormtrooper asked. "I got locked out," Omega replied. It looked like the Stormtroopers didn't recognise her. "What is your name, cadet?" the first trooper asked. Omega felt sweat build in her collar as she tried to create a cover name. "Scout. I'm learning to track and scout enemy positions," Omega replied. The two Stormtroopers took a moment to process this information, looking at each other for confirmation. They nodded, then turned to Omega. "We're going to check the other entrances. You return to your quarters, alright?" the first Stormtrooper asked. "I will," Omega replied. The Stormtroopers nodded, then departed down the corridor. Once they were out of sight and hearing range, Omega ran to the door and opened it. "Thinking on your feet. Good going, Omega," Hunter said as he entered with Echo and Wrecker close behind. "Thanks," Omega replied.
The Prison Complex was still warm for Spring on Sullust. But milder than outside. A faint electrical scent, probably from the lights in the ceiling, added to the metallic and lave scents Hunter could smell and taste. As they proceeded through the facility, Hunter was on alert for Stormtroopers. It isn't long before Hunter's senses tell him a squad is approaching. "Hide," Hunter called, but the squad barely reached cover before a team of Stormtroopers, led by Scorch, ambushed and quickly pinned the batch down. Exchanging fire wasn't producing results, and Hunter couldn't find a way to get them out. Suddenly, he saw Omega throw her hands out in frustration at the Stormtroopers. And, to his astonishment, the Stormtroopers were blown away by an invisible force. Immediately, Hunter copies Omega and knocks Scorch down briefly. "I saw the Jedi do that. Is Omega Force Sensitive? Am I Force Sensitive?" Hunter thought as he watched the scene unfold. Wrecker runs forward to check the Stormtroopers and finds a jail key on one.
Meanwhile, Grand Moff Tarkin Grand Moff Tarkin is now fully dressed. He carefully watches the facility, wondering how far Clone Force 99 has gotten. Suddenly, he receives an urgent message from Scorch. "Grand Moff Tarkin, Clone Force 99 have infiltrated the facility. I engaged them with my team, but two appear to be Force Sensitive. We cannot fight them," Scorch called through the intercom. Tarkin is shocked. He had no intelligence reports that indicated one member of Clone Force 99 was Force Sensitive, let alone two. The two Commandos could handle an untrained Force Sensitive, but Tarkin cannot defeat them outright. The only thing Tarkin can think of to stop the squad is to lock down the facility and swarm it with Stormtroopers to capture them.
Back to Clone Force 99 Suddenly, the facility's lights go red and several doors slam down to the ground. "Lockdown," Hunter said, "We've got to hunker down somewhere until we can figure out where we must go," "Over here," Wrecker called as he pulled a door open. The squad went through it and found an elevator. Hunter checks it, discovering that it goes straight to the prison cells. "If there is any chance Tech is down in the cells, we need to go down," Hunter said. "We're on lockdown. We won't be able to use the traditional controls," Omega pointed out. "We could use the key," Wrecker replied, pointing to a keyhole halfway up the elevator door. "We don't have one," Echo groaned until Wrecker showed him. "I took it from one of the Stormtroopers," Wrecker said. "Give it here. We might still be able to use it," Echo demanded. When Wrecker handed the key to Echo, he jammed it in. It didn't work the first time, so Echo turned the key around and stuck it in. It worked. The door opened, and everyone stuffed themselves inside as the elevator door closed, and the elevator lowered them to the prison level. As it turns out, Tech isn't as dead as everyone thinks he is.
While everything was going on upstairs, in a prison cell on the prison floor, a figure awoke and groaned, astonished that he was alive. The figure sat up and took in the surroundings. (Or would if they were wearing goggles due to having been knocked off during his fall on Eriadu? That was the last thing he remembered before blacking out. Tech remembered his backup pair was in his bag. As he groped through his bag, Tech hoped his backup pair wasn't damaged.) Thankfully, when he pulled them out, they weren't. He put the goggles on and took in his surroundings. His metal cell is uninviting. The lights in the ceiling are red, as is the ray shield door. The rough and unsupportive bench and the ray-shielded doors assaulted his taste and smell senses while he saw his unequipped cell. Tech notices a tiny switch in the wall, barely visible. Tech attempts to get the Stormtrooper's attention as they run past, but it's half a dozen attempts before a Stormtrooper responds. "You're alive," the Stormtrooper said. "What's going on?" Tech asked. "A squad of Commandos have broken into the complex. Don't try anything, alright?" the Stormtrooper explained. "I won't," Tech replied. When the Stormtrooper departed, Tech realised his squadmates were there to rescue him. He knows he has to lift the lockdown, but his injuries mean he will struggle. Gritting his teeth, Tech made his way to the control panel. Tech fumbled with the switch but eventually managed to get it working. Once he got the button working, he deactivated the ray shield. Tech then staggered outside and moved towards a nearby control room.
Back to the Batch The red lights and a marginal cooling of the environment were something Echo didn't expect, though he was sure that the prison complex was now on lockdown. They knew that Stormtroopers would be swarming the facility looking for them, and they had to recover Tech's body and find a way out before they were all captured. Soon, the squad reached a terminal. "Try to hack in again," Hunter called as the Stormtroopers started firing on their location. As the squad members returned fire, Echo said, "I can't focus on hacking into the system unless you keep the Stormtroopers off my ass," "Wrecker, try to lock the door down so we don't have to fight off a hundred troopers at once," Hunter said. "On it," Wrecker replied as he ran to the switch and shot it, causing the door to fall. Eventually, Echo gets into the prisoner quarters and discovers a back passage to the prisoner quarters.
Back to Tech Tech hobbled his way to a separate gate control room. Time has progressed to Mid-Afternoon, and it was mild in the room. Metal dominated Tech's senses, though scents from electricity and bacta also hit Tech's nose and mouth as he carefully made his way to the glowing control panel, the only other light coming from a lamp in the ceiling. While the control panel was a new addition to the facility, it dated to before the Clone Wars. As Tech tried to work to lift one of the heavy doors remotely, he was struggling due to injuries sustained in the fall. Tech also knows he has little time to activate the door before troopers intercept him. Just as he thinks about being intercepted by Stormtroopers, Tech hears Stormtroopers approach and search for a hiding place. Just after he hides inside a closet, Tech readies his blasters as the Stormtroopers enter. After a few moments, Tech burst out of the closet and stunned the two Stormtroopers. Finally, he returns to the control panel and swipes a data card from one of the stunned Stormtroopers. The data card allows Tech to access the control panel and open one of the doors.
Back to Clone Force 99 Clone Force 99 reaches the prison complex entrance but is hampered again by multiple closed doors. Omega and Hunter are starting to tire due to their use of the Force, but they're still determined to get Tech's body back. Echo attempts to hack into the complex again but only opens one door. "No good. Wrecker, can you open the other door?" Echo asked. Wrecker attempts to open the door in multiple ways, but it won't budge. "What if Omega and I use the force to make the door budge enough for Wrecker to get it open?" Echo suggests. "Sounds like a plan," Hunter replied. He and Omega channel the Force again, and the door budges up a few inches. "Now, Wrecker," Hunter said as Wrecker gets under the door and gradually pulls it up. To their surprise, the door behind that door was open. Once they enter, Echo heads for the control panel room. And to his shock, Tech is standing unsteadily in the room. "YOU'RE ALIVE!" Tech and Echo shouted to each other. Hunter, Omega and Wrecker follow inside, and all embrace Tech upon seeing him. "We just came to recover your body. We had no idea you were alive," Omega said, tears streaming down her face. However, their joy is short-lived as they must scatter from an approaching horde of Stormtroopers. Each squad member attempts to stun as many Stormtroopers as they can. However, the swarm is seemingly endless. Hunter, Tech, Echo, Wrecker and Omega try to move towards a common meeting point, but the Stormtroopers herd Clone Force 99 towards an endpoint. Suddenly, Scorch appears from nowhere next to Omega, wielding a minigun. "Aren't you the one who helped fake my death?" Omega asked, astonished at seeing Scorch again. "Yes. I must go on the run after this. There's no way the Empire will allow me to stay," Scorch replied as he started firing, mass-stunning the troopers. "You can stay with us," Omega suggested. "I could, for a bit. I'll need to head to Kashyyk to find Sev," Scorch replied, "Now, get in contact with your brothers, alright?" "Alright," Omega replied. Omega used her communicator to message the other squad members, and everyone escaped through a backway, Wrecker carrying Tech to safety.
Several days later. Tech is sitting outside on Pabu several days after his rescue. The squad was with them, although Scorch had departed to search for Sev. It was a warm mid-morning summer, and Tech enjoyed the warm sun on his batca-patched cheek. Phee was sitting with him, evidently having endured several sleepless nights without him. Tech can smell and taste the bacta patches covering a considerable portion of his body, the rock making up the island, plants and the sea. The picnic rug was soft on his feet. Everyone can tell that Tech's goggles are his backup pair, though only Tech could see the Lula sticker on the edge of the frame. Tech noticed that the data chip he took from Sullust had more data than he first realised. The data was well encrypted, and Tech smiled as he thought, "Finally, a challenge worthy of my skill," Tech inserted the data chip into his datapad and started using various techniques he knew to decode what was on it. The first two attempts failed, with two approaches proving useless. "Alright. Let's try this then," Tech said as he attempted a rare decrypting technique that he learned during the infiltration of Sako Minor. After several minutes, Tech decrypted the data. And Tech is amazed at what's on it. He had access to all the classified information regarding Royce Hemlock's location. "Echo, round everyone up. I've discovered something huge," Tech said into his communicator. "Will do," Echo responded. "What's up?" Phee asked. "I've discovered where the Empire is holding Crosshair," Tech turned to Phee. "You have?" Echo asked, but Phee interrupted, "Please don't rush off again until healing is complete. Brown eyes. I almost lost you," "We won't go anywhere until healing is complete. We also need to coordinate with Rex and a friend of Omega's before we launch a rescue mission," Tech replied. Phee nodded, and Tech held her shoulder, "I'm sorry I offended you during our last conversation. It was never my intention, and I was distracted ensuring everything for our mission was ready," "Apology accepted, brown eyes," Phee replied. A moment later, the rest of the squad arrived. "What have you found?" Hunter asked. When Tech handed his datapad to Hunter, his eyes widened with shock. "Mt. Tantiss. Wayland. That's where Dr Hemlock is holding Crosshair." Hunter said, "We'll have to send this to Rex and Khan. Then Omega and I need to continue to work on managing our Force Abilities," "Sounds like a plan," Tech replied. The squad nodded and left Tech and Phee to watch the waves.
Meanwhile, on Mt. Tantiss It is a mild mid-morning summer day on Mt. Tantiss, Wayland, and an angry Dr. Hemlock marches into the prison bay and straight to the cells. Nala Se is in one of them. Lighting up her cell are lights on the roof and the ray-shielded door. Dr. Hemlock can smell and taste the Kaminoan and the Ray Shield. The floor is rough but slightly damp due to the vent in the roof keeping things more humid for Nala Se. Once again, the tiniest bit of a strange band is present on Nala Se's wrist. "You lied," Dr Hemlock snarled. Nala Se looked up, confused, "About what?" "About not having created Force Sensitive clones," Dr. Hemlock spat. He grabbed a datapad sent from Grand Moff Tarkin and presented it to Nala Se. "What is this about?" Nala Se asked. She watched the footage and saw Hunter and Omega using the Force several times during the scuffle on Sullust. Nala Se's eyes widened, "I had no idea they were Force Sensitive. Force Sensitive Clones are news to me," "I can have you executed right now for this," Dr Hemlock stated bluntly, and to emphasise his point, the Commando standing next to him pointed his blaster at Nala Se. Nala Se, however, is unmoved. "Executed? You know I'm the one who created these two, so if you execute me, you'll lose that knowledge," Nala Se replied coolly. Dr. Hemlock breathed deeply to calm himself, then continued, "Alright. What do you need to replicate this?" As the Commando lowered his blaster, Nala Se replied, "A perfect replication of my laboratories from Kamino. That's the only way you're standing a chance of fulfilling the Emperor's wishes," "Alright. Then that's what we'll do," Dr Hemlock replied before he left the cell.

DARK ANGEL WITH A SHOTGUN
CHAPTER 1
Through the rangefinder of his rifle, Crosshair spies the stronghold that the Empire seized from locals and established its headquarters on this backwater planet. He adjusts the vision to thermal to see how many Stormtroopers are inside the structure. Crosshair expects his target to make it easy for him to eliminate him by coming out of the building at some point. He needs a plan B, however, for the eventuality that the Imperial remains stubbornly inside. As he suspected, the security in the complex is heavy, with numerous groups of troopers patrolling the hallways and gates. It isn't going to be easy to infiltrate, but not impossible if Crosshair times his movements correctly. The idea is to maintain his incursion a secret as long as he can, while eliminating hostiles as he goes. That'll make his exit much easier once he takes the target out.
Bounties on Imperials don't come often, much less with such a high reward. It makes him wonder what dirty business this Imperial is involved in, that even his higher-ups have turned a blind eye to the great bounty and haven't made it go away. Whatever the reason, Crosshair has every intention of collecting this one nevertheless.
It could've been an easier job if he had a team to work with, like the Bad Batch. But after all that has happened in the last several years, that isn't his life anymore. He touches down on Pabu on occasion between hunts when he needs a place to lie low, but the relationship with his siblings has never returned to what it used to be. It isn't as bad as it is when they’ve been on opposite sides, but there's too much hurt and guilt coming from all sides to pretend as if nothing has happened. And he doesn't have many other people he can trust; he can count them on one hand.
Crosshair shakes himself out of those thoughts and refocuses on the task at hand. He can do this on his own.
A cluster of heat signatures on the East end of the building catches his eyes. At first, he thinks it's his target in the company of four Stormtroopers guarding him, but as he watches, Crosshair realizes that he's mistaken. The smallest person in the room falls to the ground as one of the four bigger figures manhandles them. Without wasting time, the other three guards gang up with the first and start beating the person on the ground. Crosshair assumes it's someone who has committed a petty crime against the Imperial in charge, and this is their punishment for it. He knows more than anyone else that, sometimes, even something as simple as existing is enough a crime for the Empire. It's a lesson that he learned the hard way.
Telling himself that whatever is happening there isn't of his concern, he redirects his rifle in the opposite direction. He has a job to do, and it doesn't include rescuing a random person.
Crosshair spends the next hour or so studying the comes and goes of Stormtroopers around the building and finding out where his target is actually located. Despite the considerable numbers of Stormtroopers guarding the stronghold, he detects a pathetic high number of vulnerabilities in their patrol patterns. Hardly a surprise; Imperial conscripted soldiers will never achieve the efficiency of the clone army. Crosshair intends on using each one of those vulnerabilities to his advantage. However, there is something that, regardless of his initial dismissal, keeps bothering him. His attention has returned repeatedly to the East end of the building. It isn't relevant to his mission, and yet, he can't stop wondering who the poor bastard in that room is. No doubt, it's somebody having a very bad day.
The beating stopped a while ago, and the person has barely moved since then. They're lying on the floor in the same spot that the guards left them. If it weren't because their heat signature is as strong as it was in the beginning, Crosshair would think they're dead. Unconscious maybe, but something is telling him that it's not the case. And what happens in the next couple of minutes confirms his suspicion. A trooper returns to the room and kneels next to the person. The thought of that, being a rookie move on their part, crosses his mind at the same time that the “unconscious” person springs to life.

I've stumbled across the reblog with "tell me what you think about my fics". This ask may not be exactly how this is meant since, yes, I haven't read fiction by you, but I have read essays by you. Hence, I wanted to let you know that I find your writing thoughtful and smart, with strong strings of argumentation.
I appreciate that you compose these bits that are critical of the source material and fan behavior, especially for TBB. These posts look like they take a lot of time, energy, and consideration, and I suppose the reactions are not always rewarding since TBB fans are probably not too eager to hear what's wrong with the show.
Personally, your thoughts encouraged me to share my own thoughts, which I might not have done otherwise.
Thank you for that!
Okay, so... you sent me this ask on Feb 19th, 2023, and I'm just now getting around to posting my draft 😭. I feel so terrible about that, tbf.
FIRST, thank you so very, very much! I hope to live up to my blog's name: "I write essays for fun." I actually really enjoy analyzing characters, TV shows, books, and movies. It's a fun brain exercise. And it's one way I can utilize my education. I didn't know when I was 18 that my political science and international relations degrees would engender an analytical eye for media. I don't get to write about authoritarianism, free will, philosophy, societal structures, or democracy for work. But, given that our media reflects our sociopolitical and geopolitical conditions, I can explore how the things I learned are portrayed (or not portrayed) in books, movies, and TV.
It's also why I like writing, but I can't ever seem to get past the world-building stage 😂. I love exploring the conditions necessary to bring about a certain society. You start from one detail and extrapolate from there. For example, a writer wants to create a society with equal participation in public life between all genders. What conditions are necessary to achieve this? This question is inherently political.
SECOND, yes. My essays take a while to compose. The longer they are and the more detailed they are, the more time they take. My big essay Machines or Men: Moral Questions Regarding the Clones in Disney’s Star Wars took me a week or so. It took me several days to compose my first RW&RB critique and another day to compose the follow-up. And by "day," I quite literally mean from when I woke up to when I went to sleep. It might also take me a while (like a couple hours) to compose a commentary the length of some of my Andor commentaries or some of my Bad Batch critiques because the concepts I'm engaging with- like fascism, racism, or colonialism- are complex, so require a lot of revision to get the right words or to adequately convey my ideas.
THIRD, I am SO happy that my thoughts encouraged you to share your own. I hope you continue to share. I have really valued your contributions to topics like propaganda, TBB, and the fanfic-ification of modern media. I think you're positively cool and brave for sharing with us.
#it's like an object-permanence issue for me#I click the envelope with the notif#get excited#prepare to answer#and then as soon as I click out of my drafts or inbox-center...#I forget to answer or finish it#I had about 100+ drafts at one point#and got so overwhelmed that I just... didn't#and because I stopped answering the tag games and asks#I don't get sent as many anymore#leading to less interaction with others on here#which is why I came here in the first place!#Like... asks and tag games were my thing when I first started#and then I panicked

thank you for the tag!! this is gonna be fun 👀
Your favorite member of TBB is: Uuuh ah Echo?
Because: He's horribly terribly underrated in the show and also a fun chew toy given his personal history with Fives and the Techno Union.
You identify the most with: Tech and Echo.
Because: They were just background characters in Season 1. I, too, am a background character unless I'm driving. Don't perceive me.
Your favorite minor character from the show: TAY-0!
Because: Funny robot man go brrr teehee :D
A TBB-centric piece or post of yours that you are most proud of: A Crosshair & Hunter fic for the 2023 TBB Appreciation week.
Because: It's my first posted (but not written) TBB-centric piece.
Link so that we can appreciate it: To AO3
A TBB-centric piece of art that slaps so hard you enjoy (and why): Oof there are sooo many good pieces out there but there's one I saw even before I watched the show and it already gave me some special feels (it's Omega dancing with her brothers, like, what more do you want from life honestly).
Link: To Tumblr
A TBB-centric fanfic that gives you life you enjoy (and why): It's crack and also somehow the only fic I found that addresses Echo literally being sold for credits?? Why is no one talking about how awful that must've been for him.
Link: To AO3
A TBB headcanon or trope that is 100% canon to you: Omega is a trans girl and 100% of her brothers are (gender)queer in some way or another.
Color(s) you think would suit if Crosshair gets "Mercenary" armor: Silver!
One thing you NEED to see happen in Season 3: Omega gets and gives so many hugs when she returns to her family.
Tagging anyone who sees this and would like to chip in (really, don't be shy!!) :D
Fellow Zealots of The Bad Batch, Unite!
Please share your answers to these questions and pass them on to some of your Bad Batch-loving buds!

TTBAW2023 - SCHEDULE + VOTING
SCHEDULE
Prompt Voting:
* Phase One: March 1 - 31 (general voting)
* Phase Two: April 5 -June 9 (weekly polls)
Prompts Reveal: June 13
Main Event: September 3 - 9
VOTING
The time has come! Now, it's your chance to pick the prompts for the Appreciation Week.
During the first round, you get to choose from a large selection, divided into 5 categories (SWF, AU/Tropes, Dialogue, NSFW, and color palettes), and you can pick up to 10 prompts in each category. The vote is anonymous, and there's no restriction on how many times you can vote, meaning that can cast your votes and tilt the scale for a specific prompt you like, or make different combinations of prompts if 10 picks aren't enough for you.
Also, the voting is open for anyone, both participants and readers/enjoyers alike (that includes writers voting for palettes, and artists voting for dialogue or SFW prompts)
The Phase 1 voting closes on March 31, so you have the whole month to decide.
Once this voting is closed, Round 2 will begin on April 5, to select among the 10 most voted prompts on each category, and will be done directly here on Tumblr. But until then…
VOTE HERE!!

2 MONTHS LEFT FOR THE BAD BATCH APPRECIATION WEEK 2023!!
Hey darlings!!
Since I've been quiet on this blog since the prompts were revealed several weeks ago (except for answering the occasional ask sent to the inbox and 1 or 2 posts I meant to reblog on another blog 😅) I thought of checking on you.
How are you doing? Have you started working on your pieces yet? if you did, how's that going?
Also, I want to ask if you are interested in having a day a week for self-promotion/teasing/giving sneak peeks of what you're working on. It'd be a nice way to get everyone in the hype for our Appreciation Week in September. Of course, it'd be totally voluntary and optional. If you want to keep your readers wondering what you've done until you post your complete piece, that's ok too.
And for those who are finding out about this event just now (or for those who it slipped their minds), I suggest you to check out the PROMPTS, and the RULES, and/or the FAQ!

TAGS ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS
(Updated: June 2024)
Hello there!
In the pursuit of giving the participants tools for tagging their works correctly, thus allowing everyone else to curate their experience, I’ve put a non-comprehensive list of tags together that should be used if they apply to your work, during the event (and afterward, if you want).
There are gazillion other things that could be tagged too, but let’s be honest, it’s impossible to tag warnings for every single squick or trigger of every person in the world. So, I collected a list of the most common ones below. Like I said, this barely scratches the surface. It’s just a small guide for themes and things that you should warn about. If there’s anything else you think it needs tagging in your work, do it, please!
As the title says, tags are the best friends of both writers and readers. Use them to warn and/or block the content you write/read. Not only that! They also serve to finding the content you want to consume! You got the power. Use it!
I classify the tags into broad themes or issues, and then give some examples of specific tags within each theme. Those are just a few examples, not a complete list. Use your judgment to add others if your work requires them.
#️⃣ Explicit Language - For stories with excessive use of curse words
Curse words, foul language, profanity, etc.
#️⃣ Sexual Content - For fics where sexual content is explored and described in detail.
NSFW, Smut, kinks (specify which ones), mild/explicit depiction of sex, etc.
#️⃣ Underage: This is NOT for hand holding and sweet pecks on the cheek. It's for detailed depictions of sexual activity by characters under the age of eighteen.
#️⃣ Mental Health Issues: If your work depicts or implies/mentions the characters' mental/emotional struggles.
Paranoia-Inducing, Intrusive Thoughts, Medication, PTSD, Eating Disorder, suicide ideation, self harm, trauma, etc.
#️⃣ Violence: For stories that contain all kinds of violence.
Graphic Depiction of Violence, (implied/referenced, psychological) torture, gore, (mention of) weapons, (gun, domestic, canon-typical) violence, murder, etc.
#️⃣ Whump: For works that rely heavily on the hurt, and might or might not have comfort, especially when it's physical. Almost always, it goes hand in hand with violence and/or abuse.
Whump, injuries, blood, CPR, darkfic, sick fic, brainwashing, kidnapping, broken bones, etc.
#️⃣ Abuse: For works that mention, imply, and/or depict acts of abuse.
Domestic, physical, psychological, gaslighting, emotional, verbal.
#️⃣ Substances use: For when there's use or abuse of legal or illegal substances.
Mention of drugs/alcohol, recreational drug use, drug/alcohol addition, overdose, etc.
#️⃣ Death: For when the dead of a character is part of your work.
Mention of death, Main character death, side/background character death, Child Death, (implied, notes of) Suicide, Graphic Death, Animal Death, etc.
#️⃣ Type of relationship: Let your readers know what kind of relationship is explored in your work.
Platonic, romantic, x reader, clone shipping, father-daughter relationship, sibling rivalry, friendship, etc.
And the list goes on and on and on…
Now that you have some idea of what to warn about, let me remind you how you should tag your work. Be sure to @ this blog and add the following hashtags:
#tbbaw2024
#the theme of the day and/or #prompt(s) used
#medium (gifset, fic, podcast, fanart, etc.)
#trigger warnings, if applies. (see list above)
#prompt(s) used
#nsfw (only for NSFW content)
#any other relevant tags go here
More recommendations:
Please, don’t, I repeat, DO NOT put “tw” if front or at the end of your warning tag. Why, you ask? Because using just the word or phrase is much simpler for readers to block the thing. It’s because of the way the blocking feature works on Tumblr that blocks only the exact wording and not all the tags containing X or Y or Z word (it sucks, I know. I agree!). Let’s use PTSD as an example. I’ve seen #ptsd, #tw ptsd, #ptsd tw, #tw; ptsd, #tw:ptsd and more. So, you see the problem, right? Instead of just PTSD as a tag, people need to block every iteration of the tag that other people come up with, and that happens with every other single tag. Let keep it simple. That will be easier for everyone.
Tumblr veterans know this, but you should neither censor your tags, replacing letters with numbers or symbols. That takes out the very function of the tag, which is mainly to allow people to avoid topics they don’t like for whatever reason. Nothing of su¡cid3 or unalive, please! This is not TikTok or Insta; here on Tumblr, we tag using the actual words like human beings that we are.
Use Keep Reading break to hide NSFW, violence, substance use and/or dark themes, and tag it properly.
For any piece where the creator pairs the reader with a canon character, please use the tag #x reader alone, without canon characters or modifier for the reader. If you want to include also the specific tag of the character x reader, you can add it. That’s fine. An alternative is specifying what kind of reader is in the post text. Because since the combinations of canon characters and several types of reader is virtually endless, it’s easier for anyone who don’t enjoy reading fics in second-person POV to filter out these fics if writers use a wide-spectrum, nonspecific tag for it. It’s the same problem as with the warning tags.
Likewise, writers who do a piece pairing clones romantically, please tag your work as #clone shipping, so people can block the tag if those works aren't their cup of tea for whatever reason.
Gifmakers, if applies, please tag your gifsets #flashing gif or #flashing lights to warn photosensitive folks about it.
Use #dead dove do not eat for when you go hardcore, very dark, and/or graphic in the themes of your work AND also have tagged everything you're presenting in it, to indicate simply that this fic is clearly labelled and fully warned for, so if you open it, you know what you are getting into. If you heed the tags, then there will be no surprises.
I understand why some writers are wary of tagging some things, fearing spoiling the story among other reasons, but it's better sinning of over tagging than missing a delicate issue that could disturb a large portion of your audience.
But if you're still insisting of not tagging some things, please use Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings if you add your work to the collection on Ao3. As it says on the site's warning help (x): "Use this if you don't want to warn for anything. You may also choose this option if you don't know what you should warn for; if you don't like warning for certain topics or warnings in general; if you want to avoid some spoilers, but not others; etc.". It's a wordy way to say to your readers: "Read at your own risk because there could be unpleasant surprises".
Also, you can add the tag TBBAW2024 while posting on the Ao3 Collection, if you want. This is optional, not mandatory.
And last, but not least, readers, please curate your own experience. Be sure to block the tags AND post content for the things you find disturbing or could trigger you. Take control of what you interact with.
Two more suggestions, even if they're not exactly tagging related: The first one, let’s make art more accessible to disabled folks, so it’d be nice that fan artists (including artists, gifmakers and graphic manipulators) included image descriptions to their works. You can add those both on the web and the app. Just click on the 3 dots that appear in the bottom right corner once you have uploaded your image/gif, then click on Update image description (on the web) or Add Alt text (on the app), and write your description. Also, there's the option to put it directly in the body of your post.
The second one is also using Keep Reading break to shorten the length of your post if it's too long. It's annoying having to scroll down what feels like forever when you're not interested in said post. Also, you can add the tag #long post, if you want.
This turned out to be longer than I expected, so I'll leave it here. If you got suggestions or questions, please contact me through the ask box or chat, either in this blog or on @nimata-beroya.
And remember: tags, tags, TAGS!!!

I HAVE NEWS!!
Hi, dearies! How are you? How the creating's going? I just wanted to check in with you because of 2 things.
First, like I said, I have news. Since it's less than a month for TBB Appreciation Week (WHAT?! Where the time went?!), and that's the longest time that AO3 maintains the drafts stored, I opened the collection on Ao3 for those overachievers, who have finished their fics/arts and want to save the drafts with the collection info already in it. You can do that now.
Of course, don't post yet! It's just to save drafts with all the metadata and links necessary. (This is for the overachievers and/or obsessive people like me. If you think this is crazy, just ignore it!)
Here's the link:
And the second thing is to remind you that tomorrow we have another SNEAK PEEK SATURDAY!! If you want to share a snippet of what you've done so far, you can do it any time during the day. Tag this blog or use the tag #tbbaw sneak peek saturday, and I'll reblog you.
I hope you have a wonderful day/afternoon/night!

(Updated May 2024)
Now that the prompts have been revealed, I thought of answering some questions some of you might find helpful about the event.
Please make sure to read the Event Info carefully first, as most of your questions will be answered there already. For everything else, check out the F.A.Q under the cut.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is [fill the blank] allowed?
When in doubt:
And how about…?
Yes, that, too. Give total freedom to your creativity, and don't worry about whether it's allowed or not. Most things are okay, barring anything inciting or glorifying harassment, hatred, or discrimination of any kind.
Do I have to post for all 7 days?
Participate as little or much as you like! Just be sure to tag your posts properly (e.g., #tbbaw2024 #warnings #theme (and/or prompts) #medium #more tags). There are no repercussions if you don’t fill prompts for each day.
Can I post early/late?
You could, but I wouldn’t recommend posting early. Since this is an Appreciation Week event, it'd be more fun with everyone doing it at the same time. That being said, I’ll start reblogging works on September 2nd (thinking on the folks living on the other side of the world from me. You know, time zones and all that), but nothing earlier than that.
As for posting late, yes, that's totally fine; I understand that real life gets in the way sometimes. The only thing I ask is that you tag the for the day you should've posted on, not the day you're actually doing it. Example, if you missed Day 2 and are posting it on the Day 4, your tags must include the theme for day 2, NOT Day 4.
So, when should I start posting?
According to your time zone, during the day at the most convenient time for you, starting on September 3rd until the 9th. If you're super eager and can't wait, post when the clock hits midnight every day. Or if you're late, 11:59pm still counts as on time! 🤣
Will you reblog my post?
Yes, I'll reblog everyone's posts during the week. If it passes more than 2-3 days and I haven't reblogged your post, please let me know. If you tag your post properly and mention this blog, it’s less likely that I'll miss it.
However, I'm thinking that I might queue posts if they're too many at a time to drop them in bulk. If I do that, look for a like from @intrepidmare (my main blog), if you have it, that means I saw it and put it on the queue and eventually will be reblogged.
What if I don’t understand how the themes and prompts work?
Send me an ask! I'm happy to clarify it for you. To put it in simple words, you have a theme that it's in and on itself a prompt, which you can (but not necessarily) combine with any of the prompts for that day. However, you can also ignore the theme and go for a specific prompt only. It's up to you. And remember, the prompts are entirely up for interpretation. Don’t take them too literally. Prompts are suggestions, not mandates. You can go by ✨ vibes ✨ alone.
What kind of content can I make? Can it be NSFW?
Yes, that’s why NSFW prompts are included among the others for each day. And if you use the other safer prompts and turn it into something NSFW, that's okay too. In any case, you should tag your work accordingly, so that others participating in the event can curate their experience and be safe. HERE is a non-comprehensive list of tags you should use if they apply to your work.
Can I combine TBBAW prompts with other creation challenges?
Absolutely! If you have a bingo card to fill or another event to complete, go for it. That’s like shooting two mynocks with one bolt, using one of Crosshair's reflective disks!
Can I upload/repost my TBBAW content to other social media platforms?
Of course! You can post your own content wherever you like. Additionally, I’ve created an AO3 Collection to archive any work posted there. It can be accessed here. (It's closed right now, but I'll open it in due time)
If any of the prompts fits well for an existing fic/art I am currently working on, can I use it?
If you are actively working on this fic/art at the moment with the Appreciation Week prompts in mind, yes. In the case of using a work retroactively (meaning: already published and complete), then please, don’t. You can, however, add new chapters/pages/panels using one or more of the prompts.
If I’m not comfortable with this or that day’s prompts, can I use a prompt from a different day as a substitute and still count?
No, you can’t exchange prompts from different days (as in exchanging Day 3 prompts for Day 5 prompts). You can simply use the alt prompt (which can be used just once), or skip the original prompt, or come up with yours. Like I said, the prompts are only a suggestion.
Where can I post my work?
Post where and how you want. You don’t have to cross-post it to Tumblr. Just keep in mind, if it’s not on Tumblr, I won't be able to add it to the blog archive. You can post a just link to anywhere else you've posted if you don't want to put the entire work in your blog.
Do I have to finish a fic I started? Can I post a work in progress?
Yes, you can post WIPs. And you’re not obligated to finish it. It'd make me happy that this event prompt you to create something longer. Let's appreciate the Bad Batch all year around!
Is co-creating allowed?
Yes, absolutely! Encouraged, even. Not just the usual writer-artist or co-writing collaborations, also any kind of medium combos: fic-podfic, fic-playlist, art-art, etc.
Do I have to create 7 standalone pieces, or can I make one continuous story?
Do whatever you want. One continuous story is fine. The challenge is to create something for 7 prompts. If that’s spread over 7 fics/art pieces/etc. or just one with 7 chapters/panels/parts, it's up to you.
Is there a min/max limit on word count?
None. If you want to write a 100-word drabble or a 50k fic or anything in between for each day, it's all up to you. You're the only one who knows how much time you can dedicate to it and how high/low your level of inspiration/energy is. You can even write a snippet for a fic you'll write later when you have the time/energy. Remember that this is lay-back-type of an event. Do as little or much as you want/can.
Can I combine prompts? Is there a limit on how many?
No limit, and you can combine as many prompts for a specific day as you like. If you want to use them all, do it.
If you want to use all the prompts individually, there's also the option to create several pieces for a single day. It depends on you, your time, and your motivation. This counts too if you do works in different mediums, e.g., write a fic and do art for it (or for a different prompt).
Can I start working on the prompts before September 3rd?
Of course! That’s the idea of posting the prompts so early. I know how difficult it can be to create something in “real time”, without mentioning real life complications, so feel free to start creating as soon as now!! You'll have 2 whole months to work on your pieces.
How do I tag triggers?
Just tag the word/phrase, e.g., blood; main character death. (DO NOT add "tw" either at the beginning or the end. That makes it harder for readers to block the right tags). Here it's the list of the most common warning tags you should use when appropriate.
Also, it would be prudent to add warnings in the body of the post, giving the readers another layer of protection before they do the actual reading.
Do I have to use your tags guidelines?
I'd appreciate it if you did. If you follow the guide I gave you in the tags post here, it'd make it easier for me to keep track of who posted on a determined day, and for anyone else to find and/or avoid the content of a specific tag.
Can we @ you?
Yes, please DO! I think it's the safest way for me not to miss your posts. I'll also be following the #tbbaw2024 tag, just for good measure.
Is there anything we are absolutely not allowed to write?
As I said before, anything goes, EXCEPT anything inciting or glorifying harassment, hatred, and discrimination of any kind against anything or anyone. THAT WON'T BE TOLERATED. For anything else, please make sure to properly tag your trigger warnings. And keep in mind Tumblr’s policies if you are posting it here (or the policies for whatever other site you use).
Can I cross post on other blogs?
Yes, sure. That's fine. You can also post different works to different accounts under different names, without posting them everywhere at once.
.
If you got another question that you didn't find the answer to here, please, send an ask through the inbox, and I'll do my best to clarify your doubts.
Thanks for reading, and happy creating!

Welcome to The Bad Batch Appreciation Week 2023!!!
The time for appreciating Clone Force 99 is near! The prompts have been revealed HERE, so we must set some rules. Seems fair, right? So, here they are:
Event Info & Rules
TBB APPRECIATION WEEK is a week-long, prompt-based creation challenge to celebrate our love for the Batchers and the show. There are 7 groups of prompts—one for each day of the week—, which can be used, skipped, or combined in any way you’d like. They are meant to be an inspiration without being taken literally (i.e., you don’t have to include the exact wording of prompts in your work). Feel free to interpret them at your convenience. For example, if the prompt is “anooba”, you can create either something about the animal, use it as a name/mascot of a sports team in your modern-day/our Earth AU, or as an analogy for someone with a voracious appetite. It’s up to you.
Each group contains a character plus 5 different prompts (SFW, AU/Trope, Dialogue, NSFW, and a color palette). As it says above, you can use any, some, or all of them. Also there's also a short list of jokers/alternatives that you can use only one time each to replace any of the main prompts. The idea is to give everyone as much creative freedom as possible. The participants can create works in any media they choose, including but not limited to: writing, art, edits, gifs, videos, playlists, cosplays, etc. The only restriction is that it needs to be focused on The Bad Batch.
Also, people can participate as much or as little as they want, meaning that you don’t have to do ALL the days if you can't/ don’t want to.
Collaborations are welcome and even encouraged. For example, if an artist and a writer want to work together, or a writer and a podficcer, or two writers, go for it!
When uploading TBB Appreciation Week content to your Tumblr blog, be sure to mention this blog and add the following hashtags:
#tbbaw2023
#the character of the day
#day 1, #day 2, #day 3, etc… (the corresponding day)
#medium (gifset, fic, podcast, fanart, etc.)
#trigger warnings, if applies. (Please do NOT to add “tw” in front or at the end but only use the word/trigger itself, because the way Tumblr tag blocker feature works, it makes it harder for people to block the right tag.) (List of trigger warnings)
#prompt(s) used
#nsfw (only for NSFW content)
#any other relevant tags go here
PLEASE BE DILIGENT WITH YOUR TAGGING (both by mentioning the blog and putting the necessary tags). That'll ensure that your post will be reblogged on this blog.
I'll do my best to reblogged everyone's posts, but if it passes 2–3 days and I haven't posted yours, please let me know.
In addition, you can also add your work to the Ao3 Collection if you want.
If you are posting NSFW fics or art on Tumblr, I ask that you use the Keep Reading break and/or the Community Labels to hide the NSFW portion of your work; and please, give the proper warnings; (If you don't know how to do a keep reading break on mobile, go to this tutorial). On Ao3, please, use the correct rating and warnings as well.
There won't be censorship in this event, so everyone is free to create whatever they want. Participants are expected to hold judgment to themselves of others and their works, even if they don't agree with or find it repulsive. That means that harassment of anyone or anything that they post (even if said work is something you personally find morally reprehensible) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Anyone that breaks this rule will be banned from the event. Curate your own experience by blocking what upsets/squicks/triggers you, and leave everyone else alone. That's the importance of the correct tagging, as it says above.
If an author or artist has asked for constructive criticism, you may give it (with constructive being the keyword). However, refrain to give any of the unsolicited kind, as it can be discouraging for the author or artist.
Important!! Show support to other participants by liking, reblogging, AND commenting. But most of all, HAVE FUN!!! This is meant to be a lay-back event to show love for our favorite characters.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!
If you have questions, you can check out the F.A.Q post. But if you don't find there the answer you're looking for, send me a message to the ask box or a DM, either in this blog or my fandom blog @nimata-beroya.
Thanks for reading, and happy creating!
