I have a new au, modern setting with similar shinobi politics, where Tsunade is in charge of the kunoichis of Konoha and their many operations.

It's called Diamond Girls.

Minato made an amazing new system so shinobis wouldn't have to step on a field until they were at least 15 years old. When he died, Hiruzen was forced "by the elders and Danzo" to establish back some of the traditional ways.

The sannins opposed to it and after some serious altercations, they were cleared to offer their own extension programs and run their own operations.

You can join them if you're a Konoha shinobi of any rank, but you must break ties with your clan, if you belong to one. You can join them as a rogue ninja too, but you must become an ally of Konoha. Either way, the program / operation you choose will become your number 1 priority, over any other bond in your life.

As expected, Tsunade has the medical program. Not as expected though is the special operation she runs: an only-women squad, known as the Diamond Girls. Undoubtedly her way of saying she won't allow the kunoichis to be neglected.

You'll find familiar faces under new light:

Ino and Hinata left their clans, Tenten is living her dream and Sakura hasn't seen Team 7 since she was 15 years old (she'll see them soon enough).

Orochimaru, equally unhinged but slightly more human, offers a squad to support Tsunade. Anko leads it and Karin, Kin Tsuchi and Tayuya are part of it. Rin is alive, she takes turns with Shizune as Tsunade's second. Kurenai ends up accidentally adopting Haku. Karui and Kurotsuchi join the girls from time to time. Temari is a pilot!! Combat level!

And there's also so much going up for the boys. Orochimaru and Danzo are hunting each other. There's a rumor that the sannins plan to kill the Hokage. Jiraiya has "secret meetings" with THE Akatsuki. Naruto knows about his parents and he's after who killed them. Sasuke is once more the key to the Uchiha massacre (but this time he's old enough to intervene!). So. Much. Going. On.

It's mainly girls povs and it's focused on how often the ones that determined the course of a nation are the people with the little roles. I'm so excited to write it, yet terrified of doing it wrong...

Anyway, another au for the future. Hopefully.

Summary of the Question: Anko is hitting on Naruto while Tayuya is acting like a tsundere for him. Female Kiba is tired of it! She is going to either lick or bite him and mark him as his. That will get the snake bitch and the flute bitch to back off.

"Back you, Snake B*tch! Flute B*tch! He is mine!"

Anko and Tayuya blinked at the rough, barking voice from Kibiya who was giving Naruto a strong, possessive grip as the duo watched in stunned disbelief at the next sequential action of the female Inuzuka of giving Naruto lick and hard bite on the side of the neck to display her status as his mate.

"What the f#ck/Oh hell no!" Tayuya and Anko shouted as they marched toward the smug-looking Inuzuka with murder in their eyes.

Tayuya : sound specialist. often stays behind coordinating mics + headphones, deciphering recordings and toying around with the enemy's signals. quiet but really mean when provoked. she's actually the best fighter of the squad.

Kin Tsuchi : sound specialist. Tayuya's woman in the field. often disrupting the enemy lines to provide coverage, plant mics and webcams, or collect vital info. her training taught her to not be overconfident. hates vain, shallow people.

Karin Uzumaki : image specialist. common job is to physically guide the girls in their missions. the best at keeping track of targets and places and predicting time and space frames. perfect awareness of the context around her. amazing at restrictions. quick temper, very flirtatious.
