Tumblr media
It was around 11:45 pm on a lonely friday in your apartment. You roommate, Jungwon, went out with his friends ours ago, and even tho he told you to come with them, the pressure of studying for exams didn’t allowed you to go.
“I can’t read anymore…” i said, holding my head between my hands. “Fuck chemistry, fuck biology, fuck physics.”
ding dong
It must be Jungwon, i thought.
“Jungwon?” no response. “Jungwon is that you? Are you back?” i asked again, just silence.
I got up from my chair and went to open the door, showing a really, really drunk Jungwon laying his head on the wall.
“Y/N!” he exclaimed with a big smile, hugging me tight and giving a kiss to my cheek.
“Wow, wow. Jungwon are you okay? You look really drunk.” his face was a little pale, his pupils were dilated, and every word i said, sounded like a joke to him.
“Yes —nOo— No, i mean yes.” he laughed. “Tayo almost killed me outside.”
“Wonie, what in the world is Tayo?” i asked, a confused look in my face.
“You know, Tayo… the car, vroom vroom.”
“Okey, yeah sure.”
“Oh, Y/N!” he exclaimed, hugging me tightly once again. “It’s so hard without you… i missed you soOoOooOO much.” Jungwon complained like a little child.
“What are you talking about? You’re super drunk Jungwon, how much did you drank?”
“Me? Drunk? NoOoOOooO” he slurred, shaking his head before resting it on ny shoulder. “I’m just… divine— I mean, fine.”
“Let’s go to your room, Wonie.” i said, trying to carry him by putting his arm around my shoulder and closing the door behind me. “I think you need some rest…”
Jungwon held into me tighter. “No Y/N, no bed~” he protested. “I wanna stay here with Y/N.”
“Jungw—”
“Talking about Y/N, have you seen her?” Jungwon asked, scanning the room. “She has like… long hair, beautiful dark brown eyes, she’s like, super pretty.” i blushed at his comment.
“Yang Jungwon, you need to lay down in here, and take a deep sleep.” i said sitting him in his bed. His head was moving in circles, his eyes were almost closed and his hair was messy on his face.
I sat next to him, trying to take off his jacket so he could go sleep only with his jeans and t-shirt.
“But i want to spend time with Y/N.” he mumbled, his head now resting on my shoulder. “WoOooOw, you really smell just like her…”
“It’s because it’s me, Wonie. I’m Y/N.” i giggled a little, i was worried about him, but it was also kinda funny seeing him like that.
“AaaAaAh~ You smell really good, Y/N.” Jungwon said, nuzzling into your shoulder.
“Thank you, i guess.” i smiled nervously.
“You know, can i tell you a secret?” he lifted his head, now looking at me with a silly expression. “Something only and you and me know?” Jungwon smiled widely, his face looking really cute in his drunken state.
“Hm, what is it?” i asked.
“Well, i think i like you. I, I think about you a lot.” he confessed, his face now starting to flush red. “Like, really a lot. And uhmm…” he paused. “And sometimes, I imagine -uh- hugging you, and -huh- holding hands, and… kissing.”
“Jungwon, you’re just drunk.” i said trying to stand from the bed but he caught my arm.
“N-no, i’m not!” his voice slurred. “I’m very serious, Y/N!” he grabbed my other hand and place it in to his chest, allowing me to feel his heartbeat.
“Jungwon…” he looked at me with puppy-dog eyes. “See?” he asked softly. “It’s because of you.”
“I don’t think you’re thinking straight, Wonie, there’s a lot of alcohol in your body, your head must hurt like crazy.” i answered, stroking his soft hair with my hand.
“No!” he groaned, pulling you harder this time, causing me to fall into the bed. His arms instantly wrapped around my waist, making it difficult to move away.
“What are you doing?”
“I meant what i said.” he said, resting his head on my chest while still hugging me by my waist. “I just… I didn’t think i was capable of telling you before, so I thought that if I got drunk it’ll make things easier. Guess Jay hyung was right about this being a bad idea.”
“Do you… really like me?” i asked, not trying to scape from him anymore.
“Yes, absolutely yes, yes, and yes.”
“Well, i like you too Jungwon.”
“I know.” he simply replied giggling. “What!? How did you knew?”
“I’ve been living with you for the past two years, Y/N. I know everything about you. What you like, what you don’t like, how you react to situations, i know when you’re lying, your favorite color, your favorite food, and i for sure know when you look at me.” I blushed. “ You’re too obvious, and I know you didn’t told me because you were scared of making things weird between us.”
“Wow… you really know me, huh.” he smiled. “I do.”
“Just promise you won’t get this drunk again, at least you can talk properly now.”
“If you stay in my room tonight, i won’t drink a single drop of alcohol ‘till de day i die.”
“But— i have my own room, Wonie.”
“You can’t leave me alone, i’m a drunken boy who needs attention. If you don’t take care of me, i will scape jumping from my window.” i laughed.
“Okay, okay. Fine.”
Jungwon snugged closer to my body, his arms holding me tight while his head was resting on my chest. I started stroking his hair, trying to make him fall sleep quicker, he looked so peaceful like this.
“You’re so cute.” i whispered, thinking he was already fallen asleep.
“You’re cute too, Y/N.” he replied, his eyes still closed. “I thought you were already asleep.”
“I can’t sleep without my goodnight kiss.” he opened his eyes this time, tilting his head up a little bit and staring directly into mines.
“You want a goodnight kiss?”
“Mhm, yes.”
“Are you gonna remember this happened tomorrow morning?”
“Absolutely, how could i forget when the most beautiful girl in this world kissed me?” i blushed.
“Oh, God. Stop.” i laughed.
“So..?”
My face moved closer to his and then our lips met in a sweet, quick peck, soft and tender, allowing me to taste the alcohol that remained on his lips. Jungwon was the first to pulled back just enough to look at my face, his smile wide and infectious, the joy of that innocent and quick kiss lighting up his face.
“Finally, now I can sleep as a happy man.” he said in a proud voice.
“Good night, Wonie”
“Good night, Y/N.”

Twisted wonderland
They went to you're world... oh gosh... here we go 🇵🇭
"You guys sure you wanna go to my world?" You asked nervously
"Yeahh! It'll be so cool!" Ace smiled
Ever since Crowley found a way back to you're world and you managed to go back and forth between those two worlds of yours and Twisted Wonderland, they won't stop bugging you to come along. So, Riddle, Ace, Deuce, Trey, Cater, Leona, Ruggie, Jack, Azul, Floyd, Jade, Kalim, Jamil, Vil, Epel, Rook, Idia, Ortho, Malleus, Lilia, Silver, Sebek and finally Grim and the staff members decided to all come together, yayy... family vacation trip!
"Alright... come on" You sighed
"Yayyy! We get to go to Shrimpy's world!" Floyd smiled hugging you
You returned the hug as all of you went into the mirror
Once you finally got there, they all stood there dumbfounded, they looked at the buildings, the people and the cars
"Woahh! This is not really much different but WOAHH! So many new things!" Grim smiled
"Magnifique!" Rook smiled brightly
"Hmph, not bad, the buildings look quite neat" Vil put a finger on his chin observing everyone, and the whole place
"I SOOO need to take alot of pictures to post on Magicam!" Cater took out his phone taking pictures of the places and himself
"So... where to first?" You asked brushing you're hair away
"Ooh ooh! That big place that says 'SM'!" Floyd pointed
"Oh, SM, sure! Why not?" You smiled as you all walked in as they passed from the security guards checking their bags
"You have stores in malls?!" Ace gasped
"Yup"
Everyone had their mouths opened, Cater took some pictures, Floyd ran around laughing wanting to squeeze everyone-
"Ooh! What's that?" Grim pointed at the Disney Store
"Ohh uhh... Disney"
"Let's go check it out!" Kalim ran inside as Jamil sighed
You chuckled and went inside
They all saw disney princesses and... THE GREAT SEVENS?!
"Wahhh!! The great sevens are here?!" Kalim gasped happily running everywhere
"Plushies...?" Riddle tilted his head looking at the plushies
"Ooh! Jade! Look! moray eel twins!" Floyd grabbed the two eels that we're Flotsam and Jetsam
"My my, a very interesting sight indeed" Jade smirked
"Uhh... well this is awkward" You face palmed
"Child of man, look, a dragon" Malleus smiled holding the dragon
"Aww, it's cute" You smiled back
You saw Ortho and Kalim squealing over the cute plushies and figurines
"Oh! Prefect look! Dvd's!"
Ortho pointed out the disney movie dvd's
"Ahh... it's best not to get them-"
"Why not?" Epel asked in a confused tone
Everyone nodded their heads
"You hiding something from us herbivore?" Leona said in a irritated tone
"W-well it's-"
"Come onn~! Spill out the beans Shrimpyy! Or i'll squeeze ya~!" Floyd grinned menacingly
"Oohh~ do tell us!" Lilia smiled while floating upside down beside you
"Oh fine... their basically animated movies about... fantasies, some of them have the great seven in it" You explained, if you explained any further, their gonna find out about the Great Sevens presentation in those movies and their deaths
They all went quiet and glanced at each other
"Can we watch some?" Silver asked in a slightly quiet tone
"Well-"
"Why are you so nervous Child of man?" Malleus was concerened as he held you and rubbed the back of you're palm for comfort (Aww look at that, comforting his queennn 😚)
You didn't want to tell them, you wanted to keep you're mouth shut... (patay tayo diba?)
"Fine... we'll buy some" You sighed
"Yayy! Can't wait to watch them with Shrimpy!" Floyd grinned even more, his sharp teeth showing
"Indeed Floyd, this will be very interesting to watch with Prefect and all of us together" Jade chuckled amused
All of you went back to you're house, they we're all greeted by the sounds of dogs barking inside
"Pup, you have dogs?" Crewel asked
"Yes sir" You shrugged smiling
"Ah! Anak! Kamusta ka?" You're mother opened the door and smiled
"I'm doing fine nanay" You smiled back hugging her
The boys all looked at each other
"Anak..?" Deuce whispered
"Ka...musta... ka...?" Ace replied
"Nanay...?" Azul also whispered confused
You're mom looked back at the boys "Ah! These must be you're friends!"
You're mom walked towards them raising her hand waiting for them to bless
"Uhh... hi?" Ace being Ace not knowing what this means obv-
"Like this guys"
You held you're mom's hand and gently put the back of her palm to you're forehead to bless her
"What... did you just do Prefect?" Riddle asked politely confused by the gesture
"Well, in the Philippines, you bless the elders like this as a sign of respect" You explained shortly
They all seemed to take the hint and they looked embarrassed as they quickly did the gesture like you showed them, execpt for Crowley and Trein
"Come on in, everyone, i'll make you food" You're mother smiled kindly
"You're mother is so nice..." Riddle muttered
"There there Strawberry" You smiled gently patting his head
"Shishishi, finally! Some grub!" Ruggie smiled
You're mother was busy cooking in the kitchen, Vil observed you're house, and you're dogs we're playing around with Jack, Crewel was training them
"Sit" Crewel smirked and patted their heads
"You trained them well pup"
"Thanks sir" You smiled and leaned on the couch watching some TV as you're head was on Tsunotarou's lap, he stroked you're hair and smiled
"Wahhh! Shrimpy's house is so niceee!"
"Thanks Floyd"
"So... which one of you is my daughter's boyfriend?" You froze upon hearing you're mother asking that
"That would be me, Mother of Prefect" Malleus replied
"Nuh-uh, stop spreading lies damn lizard" Leona groaned sleeping on the other couch
"HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO WAKASAMA THAT WAY" Sebek shouted making the dogs jump
OH FOR THE GREAT SEVEN'S SAKES!!
"Ladies ladies! No arguing in Prefect's house!" Vil snapped his fingers
"Exactly, Prefect's mother is here! We don't want her to think we're disrespectful" Riddle agreed pinching the bridge of his nose sighing
Oh thank you...
"Neee, when are we gonna watch those movies?" Floyd said in a bored tone
"Be patient Floyd" Azul sighed
"So... what do you guys wanna watch fir-"
"Ate ate!" You're little sister ran up to you and hugged you smiling
"Awww! And who's this little angel?" Lilia picked her up hugging her and sat her back down
"I'm Y/n's little sister!" You're sister smiled laughing
"Ehhh? You didn't tell me you had a sister Shrimpy!" Floyd laughed also went to pick her up and spun her around
"Weeeee!"
"You're so small like you're sister! Aha! I'll call you Starfish!" Floyd laughed giving her a squeeze
"Hehehe! I like it! Big sister! I already like him! He's so tall!" You're sister smiled
You sighed and smiled shooking you're head at the cute bonding between you're sister and Floyd
To be continued...

KJAJLAHAHA we've had filipina!yujin so ano uhm how about filipina! wonyoung.. her being this rich conyo girl na nasa cheerleading team kaya it was a huge surprise to you when you felt her boner pressing up against you 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 and her being so shy about it to FUCLJAJAJAHA
conyo wony sounds so right omg...
it all happening on the one day wonyoung doesn't have a ride to school 😩 nagkasakit daw yung family driver niya so na pwersahan lang gumamit ng lrt 🫣🫣 "i'm so pawis na girl, sobrang hot pag nag-commute." sabi niya raw sa friend niya, who she's talking with over on the phone 😭 nakatayo siya sa harapan mo, at halos siksik na siksik kayo sa corner kase sobrang busy—everybody was going everywhere, that kind of situation. di mo naman siya kilala on a personal level but you knew she was nice enough. and she gets good grades, does a few cool extracurriculars, tapos cheerleader pa. maarte lang talaga minsan pero overall good girl naman! naaalala mo pa nga nung tinulungan ka niya sa isa mong homework eh, and you forgot to thank her for it back then 😩
"i'll call you na lang later pag near na ako sa school. mwah." sabi niya sa friend niya kasi lalo na sumikip sa train, bringing her even closer to you. ang bango niya, syempre 🥰 napatinging siya sayo, "sorry ha. wala na akong space." bulong niya, which was true enough bcs she might as well be hugging you with how close the two of you have gotten 🫣🫣 nginitian mo na lang kase for some reason di mo alam kung ano sasabihin mo... bakla ka 🙄🙄🙄🙄
pero wonyoung was being real naman! it really was hot as fuck🧍‍♀️even when the trains have air conditioning, there were still too many people in it, and what with the close proximity, you were sweating buckets 😭 undoing like, three buttons on your shirt and fanning your self... wony seeing all of this and... yun nga, nanigas, literally 😋 unfortunately for her, she was taller than you so whenever she looked down, kita niya cleavage mo and she has to pry her eyes away from them... but they were like magnets!! wony scooting a bit closer again bcs people were pushing behind her and there it was... naramdaman mo yung boner niya, and she knew that you did bcs you looked up at her w your eyes and mouth slightly agape... she wanted to disappear 🥲
"s-sorry. fuck, di ko naman sinasadya—ummm..." oh, san naman nagpunta yung confident and charismatic head cheerleader jang wonyoung? nawala! babae lang pala kailangan itapat sa kanya 😘 halos bumigay na yung legs niya nung hinawakan mo yung tite niya, partly out of curiosity, and mostly bcs you were horny 🫣 "ang laki mo pala, wonyoung." bulong mo, slipping your hand inside her compression shorts and wrapping your hand around her thick shaft,,, "ah.. kaya pala, ha?" you said, following wony's eyes that were glued to your chest...
"dito tayo para walang makakita." pulling her closer to a deeper, more secluded part of the corner—jacking her off faster, your lips now leaving a trail of soft kisses up her neck... "h-hindi ko pa naman.. alam name mo, ate." sabi ni wonyoung, hips softly thrusting towards your hand...
"(y/n). remember that."
HAHAHSIDJ tapos you lifted her skirt a bit para makita ung tite niya... yun nga, malaki tapos makapal??? you almost couldn't close your hand around it 😣😣 "gusto mo kantutin mo 'ko, dito?" tanong mo kase basang basa ka na,, hindi mo kaya maghintay until the next stop to be fucked 😩
"hindi... no, i wanna fuck you properly. sa cr. mamaya." sabi ni wonyoung, pulang pula ang mukha 🥺🥺 jacking her off throughout the ride from one stop to the next so she can stay hard... not even caring whether or not it was the right stop you left the train for. hinatak mo na lang si wonyoung sa isang washroom and immediately, hinubad niya yung panty mo, feeling your wetness for herself...
"tumalikod ka, (y/n)."
"wala man lang kiss?" ang harot mo 😭 pero you got what you wanted! before wony just completely turned you around and pressed you up against the door... pwinersa niya yung sobrang tigas niyang tite sa loob mo, halos sumigaw ka pero you were able to hold yourself back naman...
"mmhm.. fuck, ang sikip m-mo..." sabi niya.. dalawang kamay niya nakahawak sa mga suso mo, nearly ripping your uniform open just to feel them... unclasping your bra and taking your nipples in between her fingers, "i want to suck on these but.. mamaya na lang. pagkatapos ko pumutok sa loob mo." tapos binilisan niya na, one hand on your waist to keep you steady while she rams her thick cock inside your walls, driving you insane with each deep thrust... eventually, dalawang kamay niya na nasa bewang mo, fucking into you so good that your mind blanks out whenever she pounded into you...
sobrang lakas ng mga ungol mo, di mo na kaya maitago... siya rin hindi na maitigil sumigaw, biting your shoulder and leaving marks there... "i-i'm glad i took the train today... kung alam ko lang na makakantot kita ng ganun lang, i would've taken the train way more... tangina." halos masakit na yung paglamas niya sa suso mo pero sa sobrang kalibog mo, you didn't care 🤤
"ahh..! ah.. bilis... b-bilisan mo, wonyoung..! gusto ko pa..." ayun, binilisan nga!
it didn't take long for wonyoung to come.. her warm seed filling up your womb, leaking out of your cunt and trickling down your legs when she pulled out 😵‍💫😵‍💫 "sabi mo isa pa?" tanong niya, turning you around to face her.. tapos ang dali niya sumipsip sa mga utong mo, at ang tigas niya ulit 😩
neither of you went to school that day 😵‍💫😵‍💫 fucked for a long time in the bathroom tapos nilibre ka na lang sa hotel para gawin everything ulit for hours 🤤🤤🤤

~Insecure/jealous
Tumblr media
And there they were again, laughing and smiling at each other. While you just looked around, avoiding them. You couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy and insecurity as you watched Ada and Leon's easy fellowship, wondering if you'd ever have that kind of connection with him. Leon would smile whenever you two hung out, but his smile towards Ada was different. You can't blame him; she's beautiful, highly skilled, and an intelligent spy!
Looking at them again, they're still talking. You wonder what they are talking about. Perhaps they are discussing something important or catching up on old times. Sighing, you closed your eyes but got interrupted when Ashley spoke to you. “Y/n? Are you okay?” she asked you with a worried tone. “Yeah, I'm fine” you reassure her "But I appreciate your concern," you add with a smile. "Do you need something?"
She shook her head and said, “Ah no, I just wanted to see if you're okay.” She smiled at you and went back to what she was doing. “Hey, Y/n?” your shoulders slightly jolted as you heard your name being called. You turned around to see who it was. Leon. “I didn't mean to scare you sorry” he apologized “I-it's okay… Do you need something?” you looked at him in the eyes hoping he would see that you want his company right now. “Yeah, Me and Ada are going to check the basement if there's supplies or maybe food down there” You felt a pang of disappointment as he didn't seem to catch your hint, but you put on a smile and said, "Oh, that sounds like a good idea. Ashley does have an injury on her hand so... we need something" Why do you need Ada to go down there? Why her? I can come with you, you know… Leon smiled and put his hand on your shoulder, “Keep an eye on Ashley for me” he said before going to the basement with Ada. You nod and watch as they disappear down the stairs, wondering why Leon had chosen Ada over you. You shake your head and decide to follow his instructions, keeping a watchful eye on Ashley as she explores the mansion.
Little did you know… Leon and Ada confessed their feelings to each other.
Boom, go ahead and CRY.

Parehas tayo | part three of 8 ball (18+)

/pa.ɾehas/ /ta.yo/
don't deny the fact that you're the same; you two are the same, that's why you're so drawn to her. you want to be near her, you yearn to be with her.
right, Bada?
NOTE: "parehas tayo." means "we're the same." and i highly suggest listening to Parehas Tayo by Nateman, although it's a filipino song, it sounds so good.. it sets the mood.
⋆ ˚。⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。⋆
they reach bada's condo. boy, was Y/n bewildered.
"you're place is amazingly clean," she looks around. "keeping it tidy for your girls, huh."
bada quickly rebuts, "i don't bring girls here."
"yeah, sure..." she finds that hard to believe.
it bothers her. why? she's her rival, her so-called sworn enemy. so why does the thought of bada bringing girls home agitate her? she shakes her head and follows bada.
it's an open space second floor condo. she brings her upstairs, and it's her bed. almost immediately, y/n jumps on the bed, giggling at the soft and cushiony bed.
y/n buries herself unto the bed, "how is your bed so soft and comfortable? it's so high up, too."
bada sees her lie down on her stomach, looking at the view outside. shit, she could get used to this view-- she's shamelessly checking y/n out.
her knees makes the bed dip as she positions herself on top of y/n, carrying most of her weight to not squish her. both of her hands land beside y/n's head, her pelvis pressing right up y/n's butt.
she leans down and kisses her nape, she whispers. "you think i'd forget the stunt you pulled?"
"hmm," y/n feels her lips kiss her exposed skin until hot breaths hit her ear.
she softly let out a gasp when one of bada's hand makes their way under her body, soft fingers going under the hem of her shirt. her fingers leaving goosebumps in their wake as they travel upwards-- juts stopping when she feels y/n's bra.
y/n bites her lips. she feels hot. she needs more. she turns around and now they're face-to-face.
she wraps her arms around bada's neck, "do i plague your mind?"
her gaze went to her lips, staring longer than intended. bada studies her expression; y/n's eyes darkened, her chest unevenly going up and down.
she inches her face towards the woman, eyes closing in the process as she whispers one word.
"yeah."
and just like that, years of pent up frustration dissolves as their lips meet. they pull away, their eyes opening and looking so breathless-- before going back in for another kiss. it's messy: their teeth clashing, tongues fighting.
bada's hand finally pushing up y/n's bra, massaging one breast. the woman underneath her releases a whimper-- a result of her thumbing her nipple.
she separates herself from the girl, rushing to leave wet kisses down her neck-- all the way on her breast.
she takes one nipple in her mouth; suckling and biting, forcing y/n to make more sounds.
"c-calm down," she tries to push bada's head away but it was no use.
she unconsciously spreads her leg, giving bada more access. the latter pushes her hips harder against the woman below her-- successfully giving her more pleasure.
bada leaves bright red hickeys all over her boobs, shit, even bite marks. "mhm? what is it?"
"yo-your belt," she hears the shaky voice say. "it's ru-rubbing--"
she cuts her off by grinding her hips, "this?"
"yes," y/n gasps out.
she multitasks: grinding her hips and attending to y/n's boobs. on the corner of her eye, she sees one of y/n's hand go down. and fuck, does it look hot.
she stops her movements by putting her hand on bada's pelvis, her other hand leaving bada's hair and going down as well.
bada could only stare at her as y/n's face contorts into pleasure. her touching herself is a major turn on for bada.
she eggs her on, "you feel good, baby?" she stops her actions and removes y/n's pants. "let me help you."
y/n's fingers on her clit felt good, but not good enough-- she needed bada.
"later, for now," bada positions herself beside her, whispering sweet things on her ear, "touch yourself for me, y/n."
for minutes, they continue like that. bada encouraging her, sometimes playing with her sore breasts, her hands roaming all over her body.
all of this was too much for y/n yet somehow, she needs more.
"b-bada," she kisses her, "need you, s'much."
y/n grabs bada's hand, leading it down to her sensitive cunt. she mindlessly chants the word inside.
"you're so fucking hot, y/n."
she caves in and puts her fingers in-- too rough, apparently. the hand that was grabbing her grips her wrist, "slo-slower.. fu-ck."
the feeling of her long and slender fingers slowly entering her, it felt so, so good. her back arched slightly, bada loving the sight.
"like this?" she takes her time, but she does get there. she buries her fingers to the hilt.
y/n chokes out her reply, too lost in the pleasure to properly reply. she's gonna get addicted to this. she knows that after this, she'll want more and more and more. bada pulls out her digits, then going back in, still moving slowly.
she squirms and whines. just when she thinks she's getting used to her fingers, bada curls her fingers-- hitting her spot.
bada gives the corner of her mouth a smooch, "found it, didn't i?" she prods at it once again, making her mewl. "right here? kiss me, baby."
y/n turns her head to kiss her, but clearly, she's having a difficult time keeping up with bada. she swallows the woman's whines and moans, really loving this. she's practically shoving her tongue down the poor woman's throat.
"fas-faster," y/n brokenly whispers, "please."
she pulls out entirely, resulting a shocked whine from her. bada frantically settles herself between y/n's legs, looping her arms under and over her legs before pulling her.
bada desperately laps her cunt, y/n throws out curses in chorus-- obviously surprised at the new feeling.
"i told y-you," y/n rests her shaking hands on top of bada's heads, "calm down, you beast."
that only motivated bada to go harder. she sucks her clit, fingers gripping her thighs so tightly. y/n's body shakes at bada's work, feeling herself get overstimulated.
she looks up but she couldn't really see anything; all she are stars and white, the pleasure and lust completely taking over. she gripped the comforter, hoping to find some leverage. that went out the window when she felt fingers entering her again.
"h-hey," her raggedy breaths filled the room. "baby, 'm close.."
her eyes close tightly, the knot in her lower stomach evident. with bada playing with her clit, her fingers curling and hitting her spot, she goes blind and deaf.
ringing overtakes her hearing as she approaches her orgasm. she tries looking at bada, her fingers pushing the girl's bangs back-- fuck, she'd rather see this view anytime and anyday.
one harsh thrust of bada's fingers brought her to the edge, the ringing in her ears seem to go louder, her pulse quickening, her chest rapidly going up and down; she's gone.
she cums on bada's face and fingers.
bada helps her ride out her orgasm, lapping up her juices, her fingers still moving but slowly, this time, very slowly. she only stops when she hears y/n say too much.
she lifts herself up and she had to stop herself from doing a second round because of y/n's state-- dazed stare, her shirt and bra pushed up with hickeys littered around her chest, and her legs shaking.
even she, herself, is panting. she grabs a wet tissue and cleans y/n up, making sure to be careful.
"i told you to calm down," y/n weakly throws a pillow at bada who only laughs a her, "god, my whole body is sore."
"sorry," she replied sheepishly. "you wanna sleep?"
even though sore, she moved to make space for bada. "yeah, but go clean your face up first."
embarrassment fills up her entire body.
"don't even," she sees bada about to tease her.
couple of minutes later, bada is lying beside her, her head tucked under y/n's head. and they fell asleep like that.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
bada stirs up awake, feeling her side but not finding y/n. she sits up and sees y/n trying to stand up but having a hard time to do so.
"where you going? i mean, where are you trying to go?" she makes fun of the girl.
y/n scoffs, "good morning to you too, i'm hungry and thirsty."
bada chuckles, "i don't have food here.. you wanna go to the convenience store?"
she hears her click her tongue before reluctantly agreeing. "yeah, yeah. what time is it?"
bada squints her eyes at the brightness of her phone, "2:25 am. c'mon, there's a store near here."

Tumblr media
“You know what, when I have a kid one day I’m going to bring her shopping everytime,” Jas blurts out as they stroll through the department store looking for a dress to wear for the event and whatever piques their eyes.
“The kid will get mad at you, kasi paikot ikot ka,” Tobi laughed at her. “Hindi ka natatapos mamili ng kung ano ano.”
“Para namang natatapos ka?” Jas rolled her eyes at him, gripping Bianca’s hand on one and the other holding Tobias’.
“You guys are talking about kids na?” Curiosity got the best of Bianca as she blurted out the question, glancing over at her brother as they walked.
“Why? Are you not ready to be an aunt pa?” Tobi asked softly, knowing all too well that even if it’s Jas that he has to convince to not have children yet, he would definitely put it on hold if Bianca wasn’t ready for it. She was his world too, after all.
“Not that,” Bianca deflects. “Nakakagulat lang. Nanliligaw ka palang nasa anakan phase na agad ang conversations n’yo. Does Ate Jas even want to be a mom na?
Tobi raises his eyebrows at Jas, who seemed to be deep in thought about the sudden surge of questions. Tobi has heard her ask for his kids multiple times in bed but it was never brought up to conversation out of bed. It wasn’t brought up either because with their set up before, it was not ideal to make that kind of plan for the future.
Jas nodded, purposefully. The answer is always yes. She’s not afraid to admit that. Though admittedly it’s still too early for her to be having children—with her career just starting to thrive, it would be a hindrance to her abilities as a mother to balance all that. She wasn’t as skilled in time-management as her own mother was, after all. But yes, she did want to be a mother. Raise a kid with her best friends like she was with her mom and her Tita Philomena raising her and Alistair back then. Despite being an only child, she never really felt like she was alone… even when her mom’s job got too demanding sometimes. She wanted her kids to have that kind of life too.
“Not now,” she chuckled. “Hindi ngayon syempre. Lagot tayo kay Mama Honey if I end up pregnant and unmarried. Sasakalin ako noon. But it’s on the list.”
“How many kids do you want, Kuya?”
“As many as your Ate Jas wants,” he shrugged. “Hindi naman ako ang magdadala at maglalabas. That’s a question for someone who’s willing to bring life to the world.”
“I want a lot of pamangkins,” Bia chimes happily as she walks over a white baby dress. “I wanna dress them up like Ate Eli did with me when I was a kid. Gotta make sure wala silang dugyot era.”
“Sino may sabi sa’yo wala kang dugyot era?” Tobi joked. “Alam kong tinago mo sa kwarto lahat ng picture mo noong mukha ka pang sipon na tinubuan ng bata. Swerte ka walang backup noon si Elijah.”
“Anyway, I want many pamangkins,” she smiled. “It would be nice to see you finally settle down.”
Bianca wasn’t one to show affection all the time. The closest most people got to Bianca’s affection was her inflicting her chaos on them, like her very chaotic friendship with Cielo Yang. Despite being seen bickering, the two have been known to stand by each other’s sides in crisis—by crisis whenever Cielo Yang finds himself in a situation with fair-weathered friends who only stuck around for the sound of being friends with him. He is, after all, well-connected and well known in the school for being Elijah Yang’s little brother. Best believe Bianca blackmailed her way into making those kids leave Cielo alone despite her being 2 years younger than he was.
Hugs were never the Park family got used to. Maybe occasionally whenever Elijah was around, but on their own, Bianca could not remember the last time she saw her family have one good cuddle. Everyone has always been busy with their own thing. She was lucky to be around her brothers in the absence of their parents but that was it.
This is why the thought of her brothers, finally being with someone who is clingy, always wants to be with him, always wants a hug—warms her insides. She’s seen the good it has done for Leon, she’s glad to finally see it with Tobi. Jacynthe is good for Tobi. She always called it.
“We’re gonna have many kids para marami kang aalagaan,” Jas chuckled at her. While it may seem like an empty promise now, she was sure that it’s going to be Tobi that she’ll have a family with. No one else.
If it’s not with him Tobi she’d rather die alone—which is a bold statement to make. But she was sure of it. She will make it work. She will not fumble. She’s going to birth children with his DNA whatever it may take.
“We should start doing that then,” Tobi playfully whispers in her ear, arm snaking around her waist as he does so.
“Keep it in your pants, Louis,” she hissed at him, jokingly slapping his abdomen, making him double over while he laughed. “You promised ha!”
୨୧
“Hindi sasabay si Tita?” Tobi asked as he took Jas’ suitcase that she was lugging towards his car.
“Yeah, Sunday morning na raw s’ya magdrive to Isabela,” she smiled at him, pressing a soft kiss on his cheek as he carried her luggage up the trunk of his car.
It was Saturday evening when they decided to drive so that they would have more time to prepare for the party. Jas ended up just buying a new iPad for Isolde after consulting with Hailee and finding out that she will be taking up a pre-med course for college and will be needing a new one to replace her old outdated iPad.
“I have you all to myself then?” pabirong ngumisi si Tobi sa kanya kaya naman agad itong nahampas ni Jas.
“Gabi na!”
“Better! Walang masyadong makakapansin!”
“At least wait until nasa hotel na tayo!” Jas argued with him. Tobi was only teasing, she knew that. He never forced her into anything she wasn’t comfortable with anyway. Sure he can be persistent with the other things, but anything that comes remotely close to their sex life, was a solid boundary if ever Jas says no.
“You’d be too tired sa byahe,” he smiled at him, eyes disappearing as he did before planting a soft kiss on her forehead. “I was just joking naman.”
Car rides were never quiet with Jas and Tobi. Jas was playing their demos on the car sound system, trying to rewrite some lyrics and occasionally recording more clips whenever they thought of a better lyric to replace it. Tobi used to think they did that for work whenever he would drive her home after hooking up back then. Doing it now seemed more… intimate—like he was finally baring the meanings to the songs he wrote and why he wrote them while simultaneously rewording and adding more words to the poetry they’ve produced.
At ‘wag kang bibitaw, ‘wag kang mawawala
Oh aking dinadala ang bawat piyesa ng ikaw
Anong gagawin kung wala ka?
“Were you really that hurt when you heard I was leaving?” Jas blurted out as she felt a squeeze in her chest as the last post-bridge of the song that they just finished the demo for this morning rolled out. She has been feeling that anguish ever since she first heard him record the few lines that he wrote for the song this morning.
Tobi nodded while still keeping his eyes on the road. He didn’t want to feel that way again. But it had to be talked about. What happened before they made up was still left untalked about which was concerning to say the least but it is a relief that she brought it up now.
“Lovey?”
“I was more scared than hurt,” he sighed. “It was happening all so sudden. I haven’t been serious with anyone before you came along and it wasn’t supposed to end up that way. I was so hurt with what Kashi did to me back then na akala ko hindi ko na kaya magmahal uli. So when I heard she was coming back I made the most idiotic decision to meet with her to see if I still felt that. But it only led me to realize that Kashi can never make me feel like you do.”
“Hard?”
“Down bad in love, pretty,” he snorted, correcting him as he reached for her hand, bringing it to his lips to kiss her knuckles. “Ang bobo na I needed an ex to make me realize that but then I heard that you will be moving to LA for Hyacinth—goddamn, I almost lost my mind, Jas. I thought it was pointless and I wasn’t going to be able to make it up to you for my idiocy. I was so fucking scared that I wasn’t going to see you again that I texted my mom and begged her to help me.”
“She did mention that,” she chuckled at him.
“She did a great job convincing you, thank god—”
“She didn’t have to convince me, lovey,” she smiled softly, warming his cold hands with both of hers. “I mean of course I wanted to throw myself out from the Peak’s deck, but if anything your mom really just made it easy for me to admit that I was just as stupidly in love with you. Ang corny pakinggan which is so off-brand for the both of us, but yeah. Stupid is the right word, I think.”
“The mere thought that you fucked up and I was losing you made me want to rot in bed back in New York,” Jas continued. “Jusko! Pinipigilan na ako ni Khloe na magsulat kasi hindi na daw n’ya kayang marinig yung linyang ‘anong gagawin kung wala ka’. Ang tanga tanga daw pakingan kasi nakaya ko naman ng wala ka but the thing about that was you make life easier for me and I don’t think you even notice that.”
“I don’t think I do, pretty,” he smiled.
“Normally, hindi ako papayag agad na pumunta ng Isabela if it’s not for something really important. I mean, yes, Isolde is important to me—but I’ve been absent on almost all of her birthdays, it wouldn’t matter to her that much if I’m not there because she knew I was busy. But the thought that you will be there too makes me feel better about going there. Kasi I know I won’t be isolated. Hindi ko masyado mararamdaman na ako ‘yung pinsan doon na alam ng lahat kung sino pero hindi naman nila talaga kilala,” Jas explained as she looked at the window, watching as the tiny droplets from the light showers a while ago make lines on the glass pane as the car moved. Tobi could not help but glimpse and see the sparkle in her eyes that he cursed himself for dulling in the past weeks that came before. As much as he wanted to keep watching her, he had to tear his eyes away from her and bring his eye back on the road, trying to focus on it instead of the goddess divine that was yapping his ears out right now.
୨୧ continue here ( tobi and jas' tweets )
Jacynthe stirred awake as the warm sunlight from the glassdoor of the balcony greeted her, though it was not without noticing that the other side of the bed which was empty when she fell asleep was empty once again. If not for the disheveled sheets and Tobi’s lingering warmth on his side of the bed, Jas could easily think that Tobi had run away from her last night and never slept next to her at all.
Rolling over her side of the bed’s nightstand she reaches for her phone to call him to ask where he was, to which she was surprised to find out that he had left his phone behind. Why would he even leave her like that? Is he avoiding her? He didn’t want to go to bed with her last night and was taking too long in the bath and now she’s waking up to an empty side of the bed with him nowhere to be found. Maybe he doesn’t want to be bothered?
Jas finally decides that maybe it was all in her head and dragged herself to the bathroom to get ready. She was told that their room was in between Hailee and Isolde’s and her grandparents’ respective rooms. But at this hour, Hailee is probably out working out and Isolde would probably still be getting her beauty sleep. Alright. If Tobi does not want to be bothered then she should make an effort not to. Off to her grandparents’ hotel room she was, but before she could even open the door, it swung itself open, revealing a bright eyed Tobias with a paper bag on one hand and the other holding up a carton of coffees.
“Ay ang aga mo naman gumising,” Tobi chuckled at him as Jas swiftly moved to the side to immediately to let her suitor in and closing the door after him.
Tobias would be too dense to not see the expression on Jacynthe’s face. She was a morning person, he swore that nothing made this woman happier than a little sunlight in the morning. The only reason he thought he’d be able to get away with buying coffee so early in the morning was the fact that they arrived so late last night and thought that she would want to sleep in. The way her eyebrows were almost touching was enough evidence that someone was indeed upset that she woke up alone this morning.
“I called for room service kaninang umaga, their coffee is shit,” he explains softly as soon as he sets their breakfast on the table, walking over to Jas to properly apologize for leaving so early. “Baka samaan ka lang ng sikmura.”
“I’m sorry for leaving you alone in bed, pretty,” he hummed before pushing her chin up with his index finger to make her look at him. “Bumili lang ako ng almusal natin. Sorry po.”
He was too cute to stay mad at but incredibly hot in the broad daylight with his dry-fit shirt and sweatpants that he most probably slept in last night. God. She could already feel it pooling between her legs as she feels her knees weaken at the sight of his face apologizing to her like that. It didn’t help at all that she was sexually frustrated from not getting it last night.
Jas couldn’t give two more fucks about their food turning cold. If she does not get fucked in this very moment she might as well just die, it would make no difference. Thus, in a blink of an eye Jas’ lips were on his. Tobi does not hesitate to kiss back as Jas guides him to walk backwards to the bed, his knees hitting the edge as he falls on his butt, breaking the kiss as he does.
“Pretty, your grandparents are in the next room,” he pants, as he tries to slow down Jas from taking his clothes off.
“Do I look like I care about that right now? I’m literally 25,” she rolls her eyes at him, which in truth annoyed Tobi that she’s getting that attitude out of nowhere. But it did not bother her in the very least that Tobi was showing disdain for her attitude, she knew what she wanted and she was desperate for it.
“Please, remove this na, lovey,” Jas lets out a quiet whine, understanding that Tobi was only worried of her grandparents hearing, especially now that they are very much aware that they aren’t technically officially together yet. “I’ll be quiet, lovely, please.”
“Work for it then,” Tobi raises a brow at her, as if challenging her to do the work herself if she wanted it so badly. Jokes on him though because Jacynthe doesn’t turn down a good challenge, especially now that it’s going to benefit anyway.
Jas takes no time tugging his shirt off and helping him out of his pants as Tobi watches her intently, taking off her silk button up pajamas and shorts that leaves barely anything to the imagination.
Tobi then reaches for her body to pull her close to him, watching at the cold breeze from the hotel air conditioning hardened her nipples. “Let me prep you first, hmm?”
“No need na—”
“Ah, no,” Tobi refuses, standing up as he places soft but domineering kisses on his girl’s lips before maneuvering her down to where he was previously seated, spreading her legs and throwing them on both of his shoulders as he kneels before the glory sitting before him. “Always need to prep my pretty little hole, right?” he says, leaving teasing kisses on her thighs slowly working his way to her inner thighs before finally lapping at her already sopping wet cunt.
“Shit, Louis–” Jas accidentally moans a little too loud as soon as she felt his warm tongue licking a long strip up to her bundle of nerves, his finger separating her folds to allow him more access but he stops as soon as he does so, glancing at the beauty beneath him, propped up on her elbows already panting heavily from such little actions.
“I will stop if you keep on moaning that loud,” he calls intently, as if warning her. The younger one knows better than to test him because he will in fact stop if she does. “Understand, pretty?” He asks, just as the same time he prods a finger in her making her purse her lips tightly into a thin line, eyes shutting as she holds back a whine. Jas nods, trying to avoid making as much noise as she could.
“Say it, pretty,” he orders sternly before going back to sucking on her sensitive nub.
“Yes, I understand, lovey,” she whines pathetically, trying to keep her voice as low as possible.
“Good girl,” he hums against her, sending vibrations through her body making her hold back another whine and trying as she might to mask it with slow breaths through her nose to avoid making any more noise.
Tobi continues to flick her nub with his tongue while his finger—now fingers as he already has two curling up to his g-spot, making Jas buck her hips against Tobi’s mouth, sending even more waves of pleasure to her entire body as she does so.
“God–ah–fucking damn it, Tobi, I’m so close,” she whines as she her arms gave out leaving her sprawled on the bed clutching the sheets on the unmade bed as her legs shake around Tobi’s head. “Don’t stop, lovey, please—”
“Hmm?” Tobi hums as he tears himself away, still convinced that Jacynthe has to work for her orgasm this time.
“Lovey!” Jacynthe cries, tears now freely streaming from her eyes down to her ears as her orgasm was torn away from her just seconds before it does. “Ang sama ng ugali…”
Tobi could not help but chuckle at how helplessly and sexually frustrated she was because she still managed to pull herself up and help him settle on the bed through her tears.
He was now propped on the bed, back resting against the bed’s headboard while Jas hovered over him, looking at him as if begging that he does the work. Unfortunately, she brought this upon herself and Tobi was determined to let her have the experience.
“Careful, pretty,” he says as he grabs on to her thighs, carefully guiding her as she aligns his girth to her cunt.
“Yeah, I should—I’m about to fucking impale myself with your dick,” she spats angrily, clearly upset that Tobi, someone who’s more than capable of making her cum right then and there just decided that he wasn’t going to let her do so. “I should be careful!”
“Watch that pretty mouth, pretty girl,” he smirks as he eases himself into her, trying not to go too hard just yet.
Tobi wastes no time as he guides Jas down to his lap, his cock fully sheathed inside of her like, fitting like a glove. “Fuck, Tobi,” she whines against his neck as she clings to him, overwhelmed with the pleasure from being full of her suitor’s cock.
“You promised to be quiet, pretty,” he chuckles. “Now be quiet and move.”
Biting her lower lip as a terrible attempt to keep her moans in, Jas does what she had to do. Lifting her body up before dropping back down, feeling his length touch her cervix as she does. “Shit, pretty,” he hums against her chest, hands moving to take one of her breasts to his mouth, tongue playing around her already hardened nipple as the other hand toyed with the other.
The euphoria consumes Jas as she bounced on him relentlessly.
“Ang bait bait mo pa sa harap ng lolo mo kagabi tapos nakakandong ka sa akin ngayon?” she blushes from the embarrassment at what he just had said. They were greeted last night despite it being incredibly late by her grandparents. Jas was seemed like the innocent little sweetheart that her grandparents seemed to be used to—here she is now though, “Fucking yourself with my cock? So dirty, Jacynthe.”
“Not my fault you’re like so fucking hot, you son of a bitch,” she retaliates.
“Also not my fault you’re like a bitch in heat, humping my cock, pretty,” his condescending smirk almost pushes Jas to the edge as he grabs on to her ass and helps her go faster and harder on his cock. The sound of skin slapping and panting filled the room, one could only hope no one suspects a thing on whatever the fuck is happening inside their hotel room right now. “That’s what you are right? Prinsesang prinsesa ka pa naman dito sa Isabela. Ano nalang ang iisipin nila kapag nalaman nilang ayaw mo magpakain kanina dahil kastang kasta ka na? Hmm?”
“Fuck, lovey, I’m close,” Jas whimpers quietly to his ear, tears flowing down her face once again as Tobi began fucking up to her, holding her hips up as she clings to his neck, sobbing from the overwhelming pleasure that was shooting continuously up her body.
“I know—shit,” he hums, “Squeezing me so good, pretty. Keep doing that.”
“Where do you want it, pretty?” he asks, hand reaching to grab her face make her look at him as they both neared their highs.
“Inside, lovey—fuck—cum inside, please, please—”
“Want lovey’s cum inside you, pretty?” he coos condescendingly before he pulls her to place a kiss on her lips, which she returns immediately, lips parting slightly to allow him more access to her mouth.
“I’m…” Jas mumbles in between a pant and a sob as she falls completely limp against the older as soon as she feels the wave crashing over the grave that she had just dug for herself. Tobi came not long after, leaving them both spent.
By the time they were done, the sun was already shining too bright. It would not be long before her family starts looking for her so as soon as her breathing calmed down, Tobi carefully pulled himself out of her and got up, making Jas whine at the emptiness along with the cold air that embraces her in the absence of Tobi’s warmth.
“Leaving na uli?” Jas asks, post sex haze mixing well with the sunlight from the glass door making her look like the absolute goddess that she was.
Tobi could not help but lean back to the bed and press a long wholesome kiss on his girl’s lips. “You’re coming with me, pretty,” he chuckled as he helped get up and hoisted her up to go to the bathroom. “Go pee muna, I’ll fix the bath while you do.”
Jas does what he says. He’s always been like this, she thinks. Has it been the same for every girl that he has slept with? She doesn’t even want to know. She already won, there was no point in wondering if the other girls have experienced the same thing as she did. That, in hindsight, was something that she never would’ve thought she would be thinking after sleeping with someone. It has always been a constant battle of trying and doing the most to make sure she doesn’t get left in the end, but here she is… finally… with the assurance that she has always deserved that Tobi will never leave, if he does, he will always come back home or she will be going with him.
She finally has what she deserves and no matter how complicated it got before they got here… Elijah is right. Everything will always end up well. The Park boys have that attitude of never leaving things unresolved. No matter how long, they will always go back and fix what went wrong.
“Wear this first habang nagpupuno pa yung bathtub, pretty,” Tobi picked up her arm and helped her get into her purple robe that she had brought with her in her suitcase. “Baka ubuhin ka sa lamig.”
“You’re so cute,” Jas snorted, leaning in to give him a hug as soon as he finished tying her robe. “I love you, Louis.”
“I love you, Jacynthe,” he replies to her before he moves to check the tub, which by now is already a quarter full.
Jas could not help but stare at him fondly as he nerds about the water on the tub. “Is this temperature okay with you, pretty?” he asked, even asking her to hold out the back of her hand and dropping a couple of drops on it to let her have a feel on the water. Jas assures him that it’s fine before he goes back to their suitcases where he retrieves a bath bomb.
“Why do you even have a bath bomb?” Jas laughs.
“Bianca got you these behind your back yesterday,” he snorted before he dropped it on the water, allowing it to fizz.
“Cute n’yong magkapatid,” she chuckles as Tobi peels off the robe that he had just put on her from her and guiding her in the bath before taking his off and joining her.
“You’d be a cute girl dad, Tobs,” she blurts out as Tobi rubs the shampoo suds on her hair. “You have the experience to be girl dad. Kayo ni Leon.”
“I suppose, I do,” he smiles at her as he makes a make shift crown on the top of her head with bubbles. “It would be a breeze. You’d be a good mom too.”
“Sometimes I wonder if I really could though.”
“Why would you think that, pretty?”
“I mean, unlike you guys and Eli, I didn’t have younger siblings,” she hummed as she reached for one of hid hands to fiddle with. “I saw my younger cousins here rought about twice or thrice a year. I don’t even know if I’d be able to hold a baby and make them stop crying. The thought of not being able to do it just scares the living crap out of me. I don’t want to be a disappointment. Especially after my mom raised me so well on her own.”
“When the time comes, I’m sure you’ll do fine,” he smiles at her. “Sasamahan naman kita. I’ll help you with our future kids alright? We’ll make sure they won’t have the same experiences as we did as kids.”
“Thank you, Louis,” she grins, turning her body just enough to be able to kiss him once more. “You make me so happy.”

“I suppose you are the Tobias Park that everyone is talking about?” Governor Kang smiles at Tobi. Despite the dark demeanor that the politician exuded to most, he was nowhere near the strict governor that everyone knew him as. He seemed to soften up at the sight of his grandchildren, Jacynthe especially.
“Good evening, Governor Kang,” magalang na sagot niya sa matanda bago nagmano sa kaniya. “Opo. Ako po si Tobias Park, manliligaw po ni Jas.”
“Manliligaw, I see,” he nodded at him, reaching out to ruffle his hair. “Kahit kailan ay hindi nagsama ng nobyo o manliligaw dito si Jacynthe. Nababalitaan nalang namin na sinusundan na pala s’ya ng mga ex n’ya.”
“Tobi saved me from the said stalker, Lo,” Jas smiled at him softly, going up to him to hug his arm. “So you have to be nice to him.”
“Salamat at tinulungan mo si Jacynthe,” he replied to him.
“Ay wala po ‘yon, Governor–”
“Lolo Javier,” he corrects him, with a soft smile before he glances back at Jas who clung to his arm. “Lolo Javier ang itawag mo sa akin. Anyone my dear Jacynthe trusts enough to bring her must be extremely special.”
Kyle was right after all. Despite all the rumors that surrounded their family, the Kangs were welcoming people.
“Tobi!” an elderly woman chimes as she takes the other arm of the governor. “I am Madeleine Kang, Jassy’s Lola! I suppose ikaw ang boyfriend ni Jassy?”
“La, manliligaw palang!” Jas tried to argue.
“Mamma mia, Jassy! Doon rin magtatapos ‘yon!” the woman giggled as she walked over to Tobias to give him a hug. “You’re a special boy, no? I trust that you’re going to help Daphne to keep this lady in check. You know she can be a little wild sometimes! Tapos would always refuse help even if we offer it.”
Tobi looked at Jas softly as she walked over to hold his hand, wary that her grandparents might be intimidating him too much. The older couple takes this as a sign to leave, as Madeleine Kang happily pulls her husband away. However, he couldn’t help but wonder what pushed Jas to think that she was the odd-one-out among all these people that seemed to know her to this extent. Her dad hasn’t come around either, thinking he might be absent for the occasion.
“Are you okay, lovey?”
“I’m okay, pretty,” he smiles at her, squeezing her hand to confirm his sentiment. “Ikaw?”
“Just a little uneasy,” she hummed. “I kept overhearing the titas shit talking me and mom over there.”
“Alam ba ng mga mga lolo mo?”
“It’s nothing I can’t handle, Tobs,” she smiled at him, choosing to swallow the criticisms that she and her mom kept on hearing from that specific crowd in the family. “Besides, none of them really cares enough to get to know me beyond the way that they already do.”
“Kahit na.”
“Alam mo, I figured early on that they are still very convinced that my mama used up all my dad’s money for her med school. Alam lang nila namatay yung parents ni mama. I don’t think any of them bothered to find out that we both lived off her inheritance and her trust fund and completely nothing from dad in the first few years na wala sila lola. Dad was a complete slob when it came to paying child support. I barely got anything from him, really. Noon lang tinanggap namin s’ya ni Mama uli. But after he cut him off again for cheating on mom on multiple occasions after we forgave him on multiple occasions as well, I don’t understand why they still have it in them to think that mama and I couldn’t have made it without him.”
Tobi mentally notes the answer to his questions a while ago. Having this big of a family did have its cons. Most of it he wasn’t able to experience since he had a relatively small family and most of his cousins were living abroad. Well, technically they moved back now. But even then, these kinds of drama weren't really present in them. They were all distant and individualistic to care about how the other family was holding up.
“Tigas ng ulo kahit kelan,” he shrugged before pulling her into a hug.

hello hehe sudden tots lang kasi di ako makatulog. minors dni! enjoy! :)
nagising ka bigla at wala si jaehyun sa tabi mo. pupungas-pungas kang lumabas ng kwarto wearing only a white long sleeves with thongs.
“jae?” you called him.
and you saw him in the sala, topless sitting on the floor at nakasandal sa sofa while finishing his work on his laptop.
he felt your presence. “hey, love. why are you still awake?” hindi ka sumagot at lumapit patungo sa kanya. he opened his arms to welcome you. the moment you sat on his lap, mahigpit ka niyang yinakap. he kissed your forehead and you slightly kissed and nipped his neck earning a low chuckle from him.
“no, stop love. hindi ako matatapos sa ginagawa ko.”
you lift your head to face his gaze. “love, bakit sobrang gwapo mo?” sabay hinaplos mo ang makinis at malambot niyang mukha. “naka glasses ka pa, nakakainis. tanggalin mo yan.” jae can't help to laugh so loud.
“bakit? naakit ka ba ng sobra sakin asawa ko?” napairap ka. “natural, sino bang hindi?”
“pinakasalan mo na ko ha, wala na bawian. no return and exchange dito.” dagdag mo pa.
“yes, asawa ko. no return and exchange tayo dito.” he smiled at hinuli ang iyong mga labi. you both smiled between your kisses.
your hand gripped his hair para lumalim pa ang halik and jaehyun’s hands were roaming around your body until he slightly squeezed your boobs earning a moan from you. lewd sounds filled the room. kada tunog ng halik ay nakakapagpadagdag ng libog sa inyong dalawa.
he pulled away from the kiss at hinabol mo pa amg mga labi niya. “want to taste you.” you hummed. “sit on my face.” he added. lumaki ng kaunti yung mata mo sa gulat kasi you never did that before.
“how?”
“dito ka sa sofa then i'll be under you.” you already pictured what he wanted. you seductively stared at him and took a peck on his lips. “alright, love.” you sexily climbed on the sofa. you made sure that your boobs touched his face sa pag-akyat mo.
you know that jaehyun’s face was already full of your wetness. few more licks and sucks, you know na malapit ka nang labasan kaya you lift your hips up para malayo sa labi nito. nanginig pa ng kaunti ang mga hita mo dahil sa sarap. “love, want you to cum on my face. baba ka ulit.” he didn't wait for your answer at siya na mismo ang nagbaba ng hips mo pabalik sa mga labi at dila nito.
you whimpered. “no, love. i want us to cum together.” bumaba ka sa sofa at nakita mo ang itsura ni jaehyun, wala na siyang pangibaba at tayong-tayo, sumasaludo ang kahabaan nito.
you smirked at isa isang tinanggal ang butones ng pangitaas mo. agad na nagningning mga mata ng jaehyun ng makita ang malulusog mong dibdib. he wanted to dive in and shower it with hickies.
“let's do sixty-nine, love.”
“okay, patong ka na sakin asawa ko.”

Rae Khalil – "Is It Worth It?"
Working in the Grand Hall of Parliament was not N'Jadaka's favorite part of the week. Luckily, he only did it twice a week. N'Jadaka always reserved mornings for the Council of Elders, with the occasional time block for citizen petitions presented to him on Tuesdays. His afternoons focused on office meetings with department heads or state visits throughout Wakanda. The rest of his calendar year juggled international travel dates to various countries for public events and private talks.
He glanced over to his right where Yani perched, all reserved and queenly. The isicholo on her head carried such a presence next to him. It had been over six years since a queen had been a part of proceedings and the room buzzed with a charge of energy that hadn't been there since he had become king. Even the giant ten-foot high iron and vibranium masks that represented each tribe looking down upon them from the walls conveyed more ancestral weight with her attendance.
The interior of the Grand Hall had an egg shape, with Yani and himself positioned at the narrow end next to the Head of Parliament known as the Mkhulu Inkokeli. A woman named Sesam of the Mining Tribe held the position for a term of five years. She took a liking to Yani's overall demeanor right away and began proceedings quickly so they could finish at a reasonable time for the queen's first day. He glanced at his wife again.
They fit.
As king and queen.
His intimidating aura and Yani's calm and collected appeal balanced the country's royal leadership. She listened with rapt attention to raised voices and assertive arguments from nobles and commoners who represented their districts with passion and acerbic wit. Wakandans were gifted orators, and each tribe had their own distinct and bombastic style of handing out public lashings to their opponents. Several times, Yani burst out laughing at a sharp retort, and her melodic voice brought out the competitiveness in the group to outshine one another to impress the queen. That afternoon presented three bills that needed approval to move forward by himself and Yani. She read the proposed bills on a comm tab in front of her and highlighted the line items she needed clarification on. Whenever he or she needed to speak to each other, or ask Sesam a question, they tapped a button on the voting console embedded in the desk to silence their mics. Yani pressed another button and everyone stopped speaking to hear her voice amplified for a general question to a politician. She mixed the Wakandan she knew with English and was relieved to know that every person in that assembly spoke and understood English. They found her attempts at the national language impressive. Umama taught her how to pause with her words and not utter "um" or other place holder words when she felt flustered searching for how to say something in Wakandan. It helped her sound more confident with the language.
Yani directed her current inquiry to a husky man with a robust personality from the Jabari Tribe.
"Inkokeli Tayo, are your concerns about expanding local tourism in your region because of ecological worries or cultural ones?" Yani asked.
Tayo turned in Yani's direction. He wore a flamboyant style of furs and fringe, and sported a 'frohawk adorned with small mollusk shells. The Jabari Tribe secured representation in parliament within the last four years and became the most ardent debaters on every bill brought before the Grand Hall meetings. Having been closed off from the rest of Wakandan society for centuries, they were still learning how to work with a collective governing body. M'Baku sat near Tayo. He'd missed the Council of Elders meeting to tend to military maneuvers in the field on N'Jadaka's behalf. The king acknowledged him with a tilt of his head.
"Queen Yani, we have preserved our lands since we severed our union with Wakanda long ago. We should be exempt from any plans to expand the reach of strangers into our lands who may not respect our values and way of life. Wakandans prefer technology over everything else and we are not equipped to handle an influx of ardent technophiles who may influence our young people in ways that go against Jabari traditions," Tayo said.
Remy pressed a button on his desk console. Sesam acknowledged him.
"The chair recognizes Inkokeli Ramatla Ntu."
Yani sucked her teeth low, but N'Jadaka clocked the agitation in the sound. Remy stood, nodded to Tayo, and looked at Yani.
"Kumkanikazi, local tourism engages our citizens in cultural exchanges that are beneficial to everyone involved. It is because the Jabarilands have been cut off from us that we seek reunification through tourism. If the Jabari Tribe are to be a part of this assembly making important decisions that affect all of Wakanda, they cannot stay aloof. With all due respect, Inkokeli Tayo, the Jabari can no longer look down at us from the sky. You must join us as a united kingdom."
Several assembly members stood up and applauded, invigorated by Remy's words cajoling the Jabari to concede. A few of the male Jabari tribal members backing Tayo's speech hooted and barked. Some people fussed back and forth with other tribes giving their opinions on Remy's call for action. Others whispered and looked toward N'Jadaka, trying to read his expression and the queen's.
Yani shifted in her seat. Her willful brown eyes peered at Remy with thoughtful consideration and then she focused her attention on Tayo using measured language.
"Inkokeli Tayo, I understand your concerns. Back where I am from, I worked for an ecotourism company that showcased our protected mangroves and sea life. Our culture relied on tourism for our livelihood. Most of our people were taught from a young age to view the tourism industry as our primary means of survival. I sometimes grew tired of people coming to our island and having everything catered to their whims because we depended on them to live. Our home became entertainment and a playground for strangers all over the world. Here in Wakanda, we are in a unique position to control the number of people permitted entry and we also don't need tourism for our survival under capitalism. I'm sure we can find a compromise that satisfies everyone here. Would you feel more comfortable if we waited on tourism in the Jabarilands until your people came up with a plan that worked better for you?"
The sweet sound of Yani's voice enchanted everyone listening. N'Jadaka kept his expression neutral, although he was beaming inside because of her eloquence, understanding, and gentle nudge of non-Jabari to ease their pressure on the mountain tribe. Tayo glanced at M'Baku. The great chief of the Jabari nodded his head.
"Yes…yes Queen Yani. We would prefer not to be included with any proposals for expanding tourism in our mountains."
Yani looked at Mkhulu Inkokeli Sesam.
"Can we table that proposed bill for now? I'm willing to help the Jabari present something different in the future when they are ready. Limited tourism stressing the importance of preserving delicate cultural ecosystems is something I have expertise in," Yani said.
Mkhulu Inkokeli Sesam seemed surprised at the offer and glanced at N'Jadaka before speaking.
"I suppose we can put that off. King N'Jadaka, do you have any objections?"
"I have none."
Sesam continued.
"How much time would you need, kumkanikazi?"
Yani tapped her kimoyo and interfaced it with her comm tab. Her personal calendar floated flat on the desk in a bright neon orange glow and she overlaid the upcoming parliament schedule on top of it, searching for an open date. She was booked and busy for months, from what he could tell.
"September 28th," Yani said. "I'll meet with Council Elder Chief M'Baku at his convenience and discuss the matter further with him and his administration."
"Very well. All in favor?" Sesam asked the entire body.
"Ewe!" the entire body replied.
N'Jadaka leaned over to her ear and whispered, "You just saved us from listening to Tayo run a long ass speech about the virtues of the Jabariland traditions since 28,000 B.C.!"
Yani tapped her calendar until she locked in her schedule. He rubbed his hand against hers and she patted his arm.
"I planned on visiting M'Baku's wife Ayomide during their Founder's Day Celebration Brunch. That would be the best time to speak to them while they're in a festive mood. The Jabarilands are beautiful and the rest of Wakanda would learn to respect and appreciate their ways if they visited in person. I loved my tour of it and there are ways to make it less stressful for their people," she said.
"And if they disagree?"
"I'll charm them," she said.
"Look at you acting all big and bad," he teased.
They watched the assembly vote on two bills before release. Several nobles rushed N'Jadaka, wanting to invite them to mid-day snacks and tea inside the dining wing on the ninth floor. Yani had never visited it before and looked enthralled by its elegant look. All government staff ate there throughout the day, and the ornate furniture and fixtures showcased the vast wealth of Wakanda.
The food and ambiance were not much different from an exclusive, top-notch restaurant. One section highlighted the best view of the sprawling skyline and the beauty of the Jabari Mountains. The sky bridge looked breathtaking connecting them to the East palace. From that angle, shielded behind smoked-glass that transitioned from light to dark on its own to offset glares from the sun, N'Jadaka admired the meticulous construction of the double citadel structure. The palace had been designed as a mighty fortress with the addition of spiky, reinforced torons that blended decorative elements to the overall architecture. At that time of day, the sunlight struck the exterior and gave off warm metallic hues of sun-baked bronze, and burnished copper with slight undertones of orange and pink. He pointed it out to Yani, and she appreciated the splendor of African creativity.
Below them were smaller, older towers with gold turrets that flanked the moat surrounding the double palace. Across from the moat were round, thatched-roof buildings that contrasted the more sophisticated structures of their civic center signaling the start of Birnin Zana's Old Town that was popular with the locals for shopping and tasty street food. The winding river valley they nestled within informed the circular city layout that housed structures along the contours of the natural environment.
N'Jadaka normally had reserved seating set aside for him with the best window view, but he often dined with officials at different tables throughout the week. The mid-day meal menu featured aromatic Bashenga Mountain coffee, tea, fruit drinks, small sandwiches, and other light dishes. Yani chose to dine with Sesam, M'Baku, Tayo, and a few other Jabari representatives at a center table that made him feel like they were gold fish being watched in the middle of a fishbowl. All eyes studied their interactions. Everyone stood when they entered and wouldn't sit down until they did.
"Good to see you again," M'Baku said, shaking N'Jadaka's hand.
Yani gave the big man a hug, and a smile broke out on his face. N'Jadaka presented his wife to Tayo formally.
"Tayo, this is my wife, Queen Yani," N'Jadaka said, reining in Yani's overly enthusiastic greetings.
She took the hint and concentrated on greeting Tayo properly, which meant no physical contact outside of handshakes, and only if she initiated. Tayo shook Yani's outstretched hand.
"Thank you for your support today," Tayo said.
N'Jadaka pulled out Yani's chair and pushed in her seat once she was comfortable. He sat next to her and the others sat down after he did. They ate a few finger sandwiches and pastries, sharing stories about their honeymoon and catching up on political gossip. Two servers carried burning coffee beans and incense in large ceramic bowls. They walked around the busy dining wing to entice more consumption with a new fresh brew's scent wafting all around them. Four more servers wandered through each section, pushing carts of desserts and hot tea steeping in pots. N'Jadaka helped himself to some bria tea and a blackberry Danish.
"Has your first day been exhausting for you yet?" M'Baku asked.
Yani looked up at the high vaulted gold ceiling and laughed. M'Baku joined her, understanding the clipped pace they all worked.
"There's a lot to take in," she said.
Sesam pointed out important players to Yani throughout the room. There were nearly ninety people in the dining wing, and Yani recognized quite a few from various public events and their wedding.
"I will have to end this little soirée," N'Jadaka said. "I have work waiting in my office."
He stood, bid farewell to people, and chaperoned Yani out of the wing. They separated in the middle of a wide hall behind a huge art installation of a giant panther about to pounce over stairs that led down to more offices. He watched her leave his side flanked by her Doras, off to handle her new office staff with plans for the Queen's Ball and her various other commitments for the people. He wanted to kiss her, but he had to follow decorum, too.
The trek back to his office was at an easy pace. He was in no rush to dig into the bullshit that probably waited for him behind the door he now stood in front of on his private floor.
Stepping inside, he nodded at all the smiling faces and headed toward the back. Tlotliso and Mpilo waited for him in front of Tlotliso's desk.
"Welcome back, kumkani," Tlotliso said, handing him a stack of mail. Mpilo grinned from ear to ear, gripping a pile of folders with papers that needed the king's signature.
"Good to be back, Tlotliso. Hold all my calls for the next hour. Mpilo, follow me," he said.
"King N'Jadaka, you are looking refreshed. How was Queen Yani's first day?"
"She did great work today. Made quite a splash on the assembly this afternoon."
"I am not surprised. Princess Shuri left a message that she will be twenty minutes late for your meeting today."
"Why? And why such a precise time? We're not touching bases until after five."
"She did not relay that information to me."
N'Jadaka swept into his inner office and it smelled of frankincense and older Wakandan spices that tickled his nose with their spicy scent.
"Hello Grandmother," he said to Queen Shuriya's painting on the wall.
He shook his arms and stretched before taking his seat behind an organized desk that already had sparkling water and more snacks ready for him for the rest of the day. Mpilo placed the folders he carried inside an inbox holder and waited for further instructions. N'Jadaka took an ornate silver letter opener and went through his mail. Invitations to speak at universities in America and Canada. A wedding invitation from a noble. Court dismissals from three lawsuits aimed to stop Wakanda from helping Black Americans at three community outreach centers. A thank-you card from a First Nations tribe in Canada for funding lawyers to pursue cases against their government. A judgment from the Wakandan Supreme court that settled a case on N'Jadaka's behalf for the murder of his father by King T'Chaka. The court would seal the document from the public. He closed his eyes. There was monetary compensation that would never be enough to replace his father or mother. But he had in legal writing that his family had been wronged and the Udaku clan took responsibility for it. He would put the billion dollar compensation in a trust for his children, including the one not born yet.
Mpilo poured him water and patiently waited for his signature on all twenty documents prepared for him. He punched in his electronic signature on Mpilo's comm tab, too.
"I'll leave you to your daily reports, sir," Mpilo said, gathering the folders again.
"Thanks."
Mpilo left and shut his office door. N'Jadaka spun around in his chair and took a break to look over his kingdom.
Tumblr media
Queen Yani sauntered inside her new office with her back straight and head held so high that she felt twenty feet tall. An unspoken pride settled over her. She let the Grand Hall know she wasn't an ornamental display for the king. She had opinions and insight that would move the country forward, and asserting her voice early instead of later left a mark on the politicians who still considered her an outsider.
Yani's secretary/office manager, Wunmi, filled her in on her immediate schedule for the week and Yani wrangled the staff together inside her palatial office for a meeting while her brain still buzzed from the Grand Hall assembly. Her media manager, research assistant, PR officer, personal assistant, event planner, and secretary gathered seats in a semi-circle facing Yani's desk. Her staff's own assistants stood behind their chairs holding comm tabs, bringing the total number of people under her team to nine.
"I'm going to help the Jabari Tribe come up with a feasible plan to have ecotourism in their territory by spring of next year. I halted a bill that would force this on them, so now we are responsible for two things: one, convincing a very insular culture that opening up to the rest of the nation is a good thing. Two, prepare the nation in a positive way to respect the Jabari way of life. I want a campaign created that highlights the beauty and ecological importance of preserving mountain ecosystems from climate change. If we go at that angle, then I think people are willing to support a cap on the number of people that can visit there to help protect that area. Consider using commercials and bringing educators from the Jabarilands to present media segments on popular talk shows to build more rapport. Use our connections to the hottest entertainment sites in the industry."
Her staff took notes and listened.
"Next, I want my Queen's Ball to have a nighttime in nature theme," Yani looked at her event planner, "Put Jabari cuisine on the dinner and dessert menu. I want the decorations to resemble the ancient forests of Ekuqaleni up against the Jabari side of the mountains. Maybe call the theme 'A Night With the Ancestors' or something like that. I want people to walk into that gigantic ballroom and feel like they stepped back in time at the creation of Wakanda."
Yani's words lit a fire in the eyes of her staff that nodded, smiled, and gave little squeals of excitement.
"I have some other ideas, but let's start with that. We have two months to pull this theme together. The first save the date cards already went out at the beginning of the year, so I want mock-ups made of the final invitations with the theme all over it. I want those invitations to become collector's items. Beyond fancy…art pieces, hear mi now? I want to see this by next Thursday."
Everyone nodded.
"Next item. The Queen's Tea at the Zana Arboretum always has a highlighted garden flower in the decorations, so this year the flower will be the Eleyi Ti Ayaba," Yani said.
Wunmi raised her hand.
"Yes?" Yani said.
"It is lovely that you want the Purple Queen flower of the Jabarilands, for your Queen's Tea theme, but will we have enough available for the elaborate decorations? The mountain variety is so rare, and the big draw of the tea is the floral arrangements."
"This is where conservation comes in. I had the royal gardeners set up a greenhouse to grow some here four months ago, and they are working closely with the arboretum."
"So you pre-planned this before, well in advance? Brilliant!" Wunmi said.
"Yes. My daughter Joba is helping me. She is using some for her fairy garden, too. Lady Ayomide gave us seeds as a gift last New Year's. We've grown our own valley ones and we'll mix them together. The Jabari took Purple Queen flowers with them to the mountains when they left Wakanda. Speciation took place with those seeds up there creating a new variety, but its origin roots are here in the river valley. I want to make the bold statement that we're all connected. They don't want to lose their way of life, so I'll show them we appreciate who they are and won't force them to change just because we want to embrace our shared future."
Yani's personal assistant, Melele, twisted up her lips.
"Do we really think the Jabari will appreciate the queen's efforts? They are such an arrogant people," Melele grumbled.
"And we aren't arrogant, too?" Yani retorted.
Her staff laughed, and Melele grinned. Yani gauged the atmosphere of the room. Her people were ready to work.
"There are young people up in those snow-capped mountains who are ready to embrace the future of what the Jabari can become joined with us. Their elders are slowly witnessing the respect my husband gives them and how he values their views on life. Wakanda has slowly opened up to the world and we haven't fallen away from our values. The Jabari will see that. The five tribes are separate fingers on one hand, but pulled together, they become a fist. I want to give the king that fist."
She clapped her hands.
"Okay now, let's get to work. Melele, fix me a tray of libations and snacks. I need to go through my mail and a few things before my Ladies in Waiting arrive."
"Yes, ma'am."
Melele closed the office door after the staff filed out. Yani sighed and lifted her isicholo from her head and set it upon the crown stand behind her seat. Gold letter opener in hand, she went through her mail and made piles of events she would attend and those she would not. There wasn't enough time in the rest of the year to attend every party, ball, civic event, art opening, or wedding…
Yani held a peach-colored envelope made of expensive parchment closer to her face.
A special invitation.
She sliced it open and read the contents.
"Rra Mxolisi Ntu and Lady Thembeka Ntu cordially invite the King and Queen of Wakanda to the marriage of their son Ramatla Kagiso Ntu to Lady Ime Leatla Molefhe…"
Remy would marry in two weeks. Lady Thembeka must've fast-tracked the wedding to lock down Ime for her son. She wondered how much money Remy's family paid for Ime's ikhaze. N'Jadaka's family paid Aunt Leona five million American dollars for her ikhaze in place of her parents for Yani's hand in marriage. One million was for Yani, and two million for each child she birthed for the king. She had been touched that they included Sydette in the bride price.
A knock at the door brought her out of intrusive, bitter thoughts. She had been so foolish to get involved with Remy outside of the work relationship she once shared with him. Her impulsiveness and jealousy pushed her towards someone she should have kept at a distance and forgotten.
"Yes?"
"Ma'am, Lady Zola and Lady Ilana are here," Melele said.
"Send them in."
Yani stood and her girls clamored in carrying a bottle of champagne and gourmet chocolates in a fancy basket.
"What is all this?" Yani asked, accepting the gifts.
They shared hugs and cheek kisses before Yani waved for them to sit in the plush, dark leather chairs in front of her desk.
"Celebrating your first day as the Queen of the Nation!" Zola shouted.
Ilana broke out champagne flutes that were inside the basket of chocolates. She used a wine bottle opener to pop the cork, and the bubbly spilled out onto the floor.
"I'm still at work," Yani protested.
"We don't care…here, sip and eat this chocolate," Zola said, shoving the basket Yani's way.
They chatted and snacked, clinked drinking glasses while Yani shared her travels, and the way N'Jadaka pampered her. Her friends listened with glossy eyes and smiles for her adventure. Ilana leaned forward to lift another chocolate from the basket and her eyes zeroed in on the wedding invitation.
"Oh…I see the Ntu clan sent you your invitation. We received ours too. Are you going?"
Yani tapped her finger on the raised blue embossed lettering of the Ntu name.
"Should I? There are so many other parties and celebrations to go to this month."
"You must go. I mean, if you decline, it would make the Ntu clan look bad, especially when they are footing the bill and hosting the entire wedding. They would see it as a slight on their honor," Ilana said.
"If Yani goes, then Ime will feel upstaged at her own celebration. Honestly, she's damned if she decides either way," Zola quipped.
"How so?" Yani asked.
Zola licked chocolate from her fingers and sat back in her seat.
"Everyone is still talking about what happened in that restroom at the banquet last month. The chattering class of elites is well aware that Ime has made you her sworn enemy. However, she cannot do anything to harm you because of your status. But if you show up on her special day, she will think you are flaunting your power."
"Flaunting my power? How? She's marrying the man of her dreams. I'm not there to break them up or cause a scene. I was nice enough to let her come to my nuptials."
"She will not see it that way no matter how you frame it, Yani," Zola said. "You are a blight on her existence. We all saw the way Remy made cow eyes at you during the banquet fuss. She will never forgive you for seeing it firsthand. You will always remind her that she was Remy's second choice"
Ilana played with her large gold hoop earring and stared at Yani.
"Hmmm…on the other hand, if you skip the nuptials, the Ntu clan will interpret it as the king not liking them. That won't bode well for politics. The Ntu's are powerful, petty and vindictive. That could brew trouble later in the future if you and the king have ambitions that need the support of top nobles," Ilana added.
"Thanks for helping me decide. It's better to step on Ime's neck at her wedding than create tension with an influential family."
Yani took out a fountain pen with royal purple ink on it and filled out the RSVP to attend with the king. She used her own purple wax seal to close the flap of the return envelope. Tossing the RSVP into her outgoing mail bin, she clasped her fingers and rested them on her desk.
"All done."
"Good," Zola said. "It would be a terrible event without you there to suffer with us."
"Alright, our dear sweet queen, we must get going. We're having dinner with the women of the Zana Social Club, since you can't hang out tonight," Ilana said.
"I know, I'm sorry, but my schedule this week is too tight to have fun. Let's look into next week. I'll need your input for the ball anyway."
Ilana and Zola both shook their hands with excitement.
"To think there hasn't been a Queen's Ball in five years!" Ilana said.
"Stylists, tailors and jewelers are booked solid for this celebration," Zola added.
"I'm going to have a theme this year," Yani said.
"A theme?" Ilana said with wide eyes.
"I wanted to plan something different for my inaugural ball. Add some fun and excitement."
"You are the first foreign-born queen. No one wants to miss the spectacle. It's historic. Having a theme will make you so unique. Every ball we've had has been nothing but who can out-class everyone and sucking up to the king and queen," Zola said.
"You two will have to be sworn to secrecy because I've added you to my planning committee. Clear your afternoons for next Thursday and the rest of the month."
"Can you tell us the theme now?" Zola begged.
"Nope. I want your honest reaction next Thursday."
Yani hugged her Ladies and forced them to take the last of the champagne and chocolates with them. Secluded in her office, she dug into reports and had a vid chat with her co-workers at the hospital she was on leave from. She pulled up files on her computer, searched for documents, and worked quietly for two uninterrupted hours.
"Ma'am?" Melele said. She knocked on Yani's open door.
"Yes?"
"You have an unscheduled visitor."
Yani glanced at her desk calendar.
"Who…?"
Sydette bounced in with a dimpled grin.
"Hi Mama…I mean Queen Mama."
"Get over here Miss Busy Body!"
Melele closed the door, and Yani hugged her daughter.
"Why are you here by yourself?"
"My Dora is outside waiting for me. I was on my way to the family library, and I decided to see you instead. How was your day?"
Sydette sat on the chair Zola previously occupied. Yani sat next to her in front of her desk.
"My day has been busy."
"Do you feel like a queen?"
"I kinda do, Sweet Pea."
"Good."
"Where are the twins? They're usually up under you."
"They're with our cousins playing in the game room. Kora is with them. Umama allowed me to go off by myself."
Sydette's eyes flicked away.
"What's wrong?"
"Does cousin Cee Cee have to go? I don't want Morgan and Croix to leave. Not before we have the big pool party this weekend. Why did Baba kick them out of Wakanda?"
"How did you know about that?"
"Cousin Cee Cee has been screaming and arguing with Auntie Leona. Twyla even came over today. All the grown-ups on their floor have been fussing. Auntie Anika and Auntie Dawnette tried to keep everything cool, but Cee Cee thinks everybody is against her. She said that you let Baba do that to her."
"I wish she didn't act a fool in front of you kids. That's not right."
"I know no one likes her…she's mean and talks about people…but she can be a lot of fun sometimes. She thinks no one loves her and sides with you because you give everyone money."
"Baba takes care of everyone financially because we're family. Not because we want people on our side."
"Why is she so mad at you?"
Yani exhaled and rubbed the side of her temple.
"Cee Cee likes to feel like she's in control of everyone around her. She was disrespectful to me when I first met your Baba. He worked a job that she didn't think was safe for me to be around—"
"Auntie Anika said she was jealous that you had Baba."
"That is part of it, too. Cee Cee has a bad habit of ruining relationships with people. Even her own. The fathers of her children left her and its hard being a single parent raising kids alone."
"But you did it and were always nice to people. That's no excuse."
"I agree. However, your Baba…he sometimes brings out the worst in people because they either envy him or dislike his way of thinking. He saved my life…saved your life. Spoiled us with his love. He was a literal Prince Charming, and I think Cee Cee wished it had been her that he saved."
"But he did save her. Our whole family. She can do anything she wants and never have to work if she doesn't want to. Morgan and Croix go to the best school in St. Thomas. Baba promised they could go to university here in Wakanda."
"Sweet Pea, some people are never happy no matter how much they have in life."
Sydette picked at the leather on her armrest.
"Can you ask Baba to change his mind? Maybe you could talk to her about changing herself and appreciating what you both give her and my cousins."
"I don't think Cee Cee will ever change."
"She said Baba won't let her be a princess. If you make her one, it might make her feel better about herself. I can give her my title if that will help."
"It doesn't work like that, baby. The king is your father and your title is your birthright now. It's a sweet gesture, but you can't give it out to anyone else."
"Can Morgan and Croix stay? At least for the rest of the week? We want them at our party."
Yani's heart hurt. She wanted Cee Cee gone from them, but her child still had love in her heart for such a problematic and hateful person.
"Sweet Pea…Cee Cee has hurt me for a long time. She tried to keep you and me away from Baba every chance she got. She even told my parents that Baba was an evil person."
Sydette's eyes grew as large as plums.
"She did that? But it's not true."
"It doesn't matter to her, as long as he was gone from our lives. Sometimes you have to cut off blood to save the rest of the family."
"I understand. I can't believe we have someone like that in our family."
"Baba wants her gone tonight. But I will talk to him about changing the date until after your party."
"I feel sorry for my cousins having a mother like that."
Sydette climbed off the chair and hugged Yani.
"I'm glad that I have you for my Mama," Sydette said, squeezing Yani's shoulders.
Sydette pulled back from Yani.
"Can you come with me to talk to Baba? Ask him about Morgan and Croix now?"
The pleading quality in her voice tugged at Yani's heartstrings.
"Okay. I will," Yani said.
She stood and reached for her isicholo, placing it on her head again. Checking her desk for unfinished tasks, she turned off her computer and filed away papers for the next day. Clasping Sydette's hand, she guided her daughter out from her inner office. She let Melele know she was leaving to see about a family matter. Yani's security team and Sydette's lone Dora followed them to an escalator. They rode up to another floor and entered a secured elevator to N'Jadaka's floor.
The king's dynamic staff hustled about and paused when Yani entered with Sydette.
"Queen Yani," Tlotliso said. She stepped from behind her desk to personally greet them.
"Is he busy right now? Princess Sydette would like to speak to her father."
Tlotliso tapped the intercom on her desk.
"King N'Jadaka, Queen Yani is here to see you with Princess Sydette."
Tlotliso beckoned for Yani to go right in. Mpilo walked past them with a comm tab.
"Queen Yani…Princess Sydette."
He dashed to his own desk, checking his daily planner.
"No worries, Mpilo. You didn't miss an appointment," Yani reassured.
Relieved, Mpilo escorted them to N'Jadaka's closed door and left them. Sydette turned the knob, and they stepped in quietly in case he was on a call.
"Hey, you two. What's going on? Were we supposed to do something I forgot about?"
N'Jadaka watched them from his desk. He had a neon yellow floating grid hovering to the left of his desk with images of several documents.
Yani waved her hand for Sydette to sit down, and she did the same.
"We're here to talk about a decision you made this morning," Yani said.
An eyebrow raised on his face.
"What would that be?"
Yani looked at Sydette, then turned her eyes back on her husband.
"Cee Cee leaving tonight. Today, Sydette witnessed the family fighting about it and came to my office to ask that Cee Cee be allowed to stay until the end of the week so that Croix and Morgan can go to the pool party."
N'Jadaka rubbed his forehead and stared at his daughter.
"I'm sure your mother explained how we feel about Cee Cee's behavior toward us?" he said.
"Yes, Baba. I don't want my younger cousins to be excluded from all the fun this weekend. Can they please stay until Sunday?"
"I already have the Royal Scorpion Fighter ready to take them after dinner. Cee Cee doesn't belong here with us."
His voice sounded firm. Sydette's lip trembled.
"I don't want my cousins to be punished because of her. Can they stay with us…with Auntie Leona until she goes back to the Virgin Islands?"
N'Jadaka glanced at Yani. It was hard saying no to their children. Sydette wiped at her eyes.
"They're good kids, Baba. They can't help who their mother is."
"Cee Cee won't let her children stay here without her, Sweet Pea. I think it's great that you're speaking up for them…I like them a lot…"
His voice trailed off as he locked eyes with Yani. She shrugged, not entirely against them staying for the rest of the week. They both didn't want to be the bad guy. N'Jadaka folded his hands on his desk.
"I'll call Aunt Leona and tell her that Cee Cee and the boys can stay through Sunday. Your mother and I will talk about keeping Croix and Morgan with Leona until she returns to the compound. Okay?"
"Thank you!"
Sydette jumped out of her seat and rushed to her father. She hugged him tight, and he kissed her forehead.
"Can I go tell the boys?" Sydette asked.
"Go on," he said.
"Bye Mama!" Sydette shouted, running out of the office.
N'Jadaka tapped his kimoyo beads. Leona's upper body floated above his wrist.
"N'Jadaka," Leona said in a weary voice.
Yani moved next to her husband.
"Hi Auntie. We heard about today from Sydette," Yani said.
"It has been a mess of a day."
"Auntie," N'Jadaka said, "I'm going to let Cee Cee and the boys stay through Sunday. We want the boys to enjoy the pool party with their cousins. I apologize for the strain we put on you."
Leona nodded and Twyla came into the frame next to her aunt.
"I say keep the boys and send her home," Twyla said.
"It will make things worse," Leona said with an exasperated sting to her tone.
"If the boys stay, she'll think she can wiggle herself in for an extended visit afterward as if the king's order was moot," Twyla said.
"I don't understand that gyal's mind," Leona said, brushing a gray curl from her forehead. "N'Jadaka gives her everything for nothing in return, and she still wants people to kiss her backside."
"That's the problem. Big Man gives her things she doesn't deserve. I say cut her off. Kick her out of the compound," Twyla said.
"What about her boys? We can't treat them poorly."
"I'll take them from her. Keep them with me and Bibi and raise them here in Wakanda. N'Jadaka, can you grant me guardianship of Morgan and Croix?" Twyla said.
"You can't steal her pickney from her," Leona said.
"Then you do it Auntie. Everyone in the family won't go against you. We trust your judgment and if you say Cee Cee's unfit to care for her children because of her nasty spirit, they'll put pressure on her."
"I won't separate a mother from her children if she's not abusive."
Twyla sucked her teeth and stared at Yani.
"After the pool party, I'll go back home with Cee Cee," Leona said.
"Auntie, there's no reason for you to leave early," N'Jadaka insisted.
"It's the only way to keep peace in the Galiber family. I'll go back and give her an ultimatum. She has to improve her behavior…or I'll kick her out of the compound. She'll have to work and find employment on her own while taking care of her boys. I won't babysit them for her anymore. Once she's reminded that N'Jadaka provides our comfortable life, she'll shape up for good. I'll charge her rent for living in the middle house on the compound. It'll be her wake up."
"She'll never change," Twyla said.
"Where is she now?" Yani asked.
"With Uncle Fritz and Aunt Myrah. They went shopping to keep her out of the palace for a few hours before her departure," Twyla said.
"So that's the plan," N'Jadaka said. "They will stay until Sunday and she's cut off financially from the royal stipend. I'll give her monthly allowance to you Leona to provide for Croix and Morgan instead."
"I just want to forget this day and start over tomorrow," Leona lamented.
"I'll come see you tonight, Auntie, and make up for it," Yani said.
"No, you must be with your husband after your first day."
"Who will tell that cow foot she's here until Sunday?" Twyla asked.
N'Jadaka ended the call.
"I made things worse, huh?" N'Jadaka asked.
Yani linked her arm around the hard muscle of his arm and rested her head against his shoulder.
"You did what needed to be done. Coming from you directly takes heat off of my back. No one can blame me if my husband sets his foot down. Back then you were the boogeyman, but now…you're a king and the most powerful man in the world. Everyone will take our side and push Cee Cee to do right."
"I think we can head out now. I'm done for the day. Tomorrow will be easier. Council of Elders meeting in the morning and then we can go straight to our offices."
He placed a warm hand over hers clutching his arm.
"Are you sure you can take on working with the Jabari Tribe on top of all the other responsibilities you have? I can assign someone else that task at the assembly."
"I want to do it. I have some things in the works that will solve everything."
"Everything?"
"Trust me."
The hard pounding of a knock on the door caught them off guard.
N'Jadaka answered it. Tlotliso wore a grim expression.
"Kumkani… you must see this," Tlotliso said.
They followed her out to join N'Jadaka's media team inside a conference room. Several vid screens flashed different global news channels on the walls. Tlotliso pointed their attention to a center screen that showed a reporter standing outside of the Wakandan Supreme Court. She crossed her arms and looked at both royals.
"The Supreme Court finally reached a verdict on the Ozipho/Phuri case. All defendants will receive life imprisonment. Sita's testimony sealed their fate. It took four years but we finally have justice," Tlotliso said.
His Press Secretary, Xhanti, typed on her comm tab, then stared at the king.
"The press is expecting a statement at the top of the hour, sir," Xhanti said.
Xhanti continued scrolling her comm tab, and tossed back the thick auburn twists of her hair.
"I'll go shower and change in my office. I'll meet you in the lobby within twenty minutes," N'Jadaka said.
Xhanti nodded and the rest of his media team observed other channels and reactions to the news. Yani walked with N'Jadaka back to his office. She lounged on his office couch while he refreshed and groomed his beard. He returned wearing a long white tunic and sat on his executive chair. Yani braided his damp hair back and tucked it into a bun at the nape. He stood and she looked him over carefully, making sure nothing was out of place.
"Should I change too?" Yani asked.
"No, you look perfect. You'll stand next to me as I address the press."
"When will you kill Agent Ross? He's the cause of all this turmoil and death the Phuri brought."
"Next year, after I'm done using him for intel. His ex wife has the C.I.A. up our ass and Ramonda will get close to her soon enough. I'll kill him and the Americans will never know what happened."
"Won't the Americans suspect you?"
Yani brushed a tiny piece of hair from his right shoulder.
"They will suspect HYDRA."
He titled her chin and kissed her lips.
"Welcome to the underbelly of running a country, baby."
She reached up and held his face.
"I support you all the way."
He ran his hands down her shoulders and lowered his gaze to their hands clasped together.
"I have something to talk to you about later."
"We have a few minutes, tell me now."
"Another important case closed today. One that was filed while I was in cryostasis on my behalf. The Udaku clan…T'Chaka… was found liable for the murder of my father. I was awarded monetary compensation that I will put into a trust for our children. Its one billion dollars. I'm going to file paperwork with our family lawyer tomorrow to name you as the Trustee if anything ever happens to me. Grandpop and Leona will be next in line to control it if anything happens to you. I'll put Shuri and Twyla on the documents too. I want to talk about the age we want them to have access to it in the future."
Yani parted her lips and flicked her eyes to the wall behind him.
One billion dollars.
She hadn't been knocked out by an amount like that since he had left her the compound and money to care for her and their children when he thought he would never see them again.
"N'Jadaka…that's so much."
"No amount can bring my father back, but the family wants to make sure the money makes a statement to me. The court has sealed the details to outsiders. Sita made the lawsuit happen on my father's behalf. She's also responsible for putting the Phuri terrorists away."
"We should reward her."
He shook his head.
"She's not the type to take money when it comes to justice. But I will make sure she and her daughter live well for the rest of their lives."
Yani hugged him tight.
"You always give so much to people and never take anything for yourself."
"I have plenty already."
Yani held onto his hand as they met Xhanti and the rest of the media team in the lobby.
"Here's some bullet points about the case. I pulled up the information about civilian compensation. It's best if you put off questions about civil cases against the Phuri," Xhanti said.
They crowded into an elevator and rode down to the Press Room. A make-up artist powdered the shine on N'Jadaka's face for the camera lights and touched up Yani's make-up. Xhanti sent over the key details to be loaded onto a teleprompter and the royal couple waited in front of a podium for the camera light to flash red for the live broadcast.
Reporters and photographers crowded in front of the podium with a crushing wave of expectant energy. Yani's stomach tumbled and N'Jadaka touched her hand hidden behind the podium. Member's of the king's cabinet created a semi-circle behind him and Yani's nerves eased once the Council of Elders joined them to their left side.
Xhanti stood next to the teleprompter and the king checked the bullet points for clarity. A minute later, the main camera light turned red.
N'Jadaka faced the nation.
"My fellow Wakandans, after four long years, justice has finally prevailed today…"

Where The Rivers Are Poisoned
Summary: Tayo and Nah'ri moth-sit.
CW: eye injury
This is Tayo (any pronouns), Nah'ri (she/they), Ares (he/they), and the moth (they/them)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The dark dragon reared its head and its eye flashed red as it focused on the kid. The poor thing only had 3 stars on its back, and attempted to scurry for shelter under something— a ribcage! It reeked of darkness and decay, but it could work. As the moth attempted to wade through the thick, dark water as fast as possible, the beast roared as it swooped down on its meal. Only, they found themselves alive by some miracle.
A shriek, pop, and a crackle sounded behind them as they honked for someone to help them. Their call was answered by the honking of another kid tumbling out of the air with seemingly no cape. They landed in front of them with a splat and stood up to immediately offer a candle to light. Once the moth had done so, they noticed their outfit looked like a magician's... a flamboyant one.
Did megabird send them a circus performer to help?
The second thing they noticed is that this stranger's wings were tied around their waist instead of resting on their shoulders. How odd, but they didn't have time to question it before another kid landed next to them, lighting their candle and honking for them to accept their white ones. This kid had strange wings that were more like a scarf and green pants that matched the thick fog of the wasteland. They also seemed to be wearing heavy shoes and lacked a mask. Their expression seemed unfriendly, but they had offered them friendship.
"Thanks to you, I lost 5 winged lights! Ugh, whatever, I'll find them eventually," they spoke with a harsh tone and a thick accent as they slammed down a square brazier and lit it, "anyways, name's Nah'ri, that's my friend Tayo."
Tayo waved and honked, and without warning, both the moth and Tayo had been grabbed by their hands and lifted off the ground. They flew fairly high up and the moth now saw how many of those dark dragons were stalking the area for light. They honked with terror and, as they began their descent, the moth looked down at their landing spot. A bonfire! It seemed out of place in this green hell, but it was a light source away from the blue spotlights of the dark dragons.
Upon landing gently next to the spirit, the moth pulled out their candle to burn away the darkness that they were encased in, only to be tugged away. "Don't do that yet, you're not ready," Nah'ri warned. Her tone seemed to signify that this spirit was genuinely torturous to relive, so they obliged. They sat by the bonfire as they watched their new "friend" prop an unconscious Tayo up against the stone wall.
"Does he usually... faint out of nowhere?"
"Yeah. If he moves too fast, he faints," Nah'ri spoke plainly as she let out a loud honk to knock over the crabs and set a few in the bonfire, "I'm not sure why."
"Oh. Well I guess I'll—" the moth began to stand up and walk away on their own before Nah'ri put a firm hand on their shoulder suddenly. She said nothing and glanced around as if embarrassed.
"Don't. Not yet," she glanced back at their still unconscious friend, then sighed as they looked back to the new kid, "kid, what's your name?"
"Uh- Everest."
"Well, Everest, you should wait for Tayo to wake up, he loves to make new friends. He— we'll— help you to the temple," she explained, seemingly forced, then coughed and walked back to the bonfire to sit closer to Tayo than she was before and crossed her arms, "it's too dangerous for a new kid. I'm just... looking out for you."
Tayo woke with a soft honk, and Nah'ri's eyes lit up with joy. Her entire demeanor changed to a much more softer one when she was with Tayo, it seemed. They were trying their best to fight back the endearing smile that crept onto their face as they climbed the bonfire to toss down a crab to share with her— and Everest, they supposed.
Nah'ri handed them a crab leg, which they nearly declined before their stomach roared. They ate it and half of another crab in minutes, leaving Tayo overjoyed to find such a wild flame like herself. Though the moth couldn't see Tayo's expression behind her mask, they assumed from the look in their eyes that they were grinning with joy.
Everest fell backwards into the sand and flailed their arms at the subsequent dust cloud settling on top of them and huffed as Nah'ri scoffed and bickered about their manners to Tayo, who brushed her off with a honk and paced slowly towards the moth. He looked over his shoulders to his friend with a honk.
"Everest," Nah'ri spoke with a huff as they slouched against the wall with their arms crossed and stared over them, "just tell me when you two are done." Tayo honked a few times. "Yeah, sure. Of course we will."
Tayo kneeled down besides Everest as they sat up, supporting themselves with a hand and accepting Tayo's white candles. They were slightly taken aback by Tayo's voice, which they titled their head at.
"What? Did I not sound how you expected?" the sound of Tayo's grin faltered, and quickly returned as they spoke in a deeper voice, "I can change it, if you'd like!"
The moth honked as they sat upright and crossed their legs, glancing at Nah'ri grinning while drawing in the sand with a crab legs, then staring up at Tayo with bright yellow eyes, "you can do that?! How?"
Tayo stood up and dug their staff into the ground and spun around it, "I used to preform in the Valley after I had gotten my cool outfit." Nah'ri glanced up at them, as if they were tempted to correct them, then looked back down at their drawing. Tayo hummed and walked over to Nah'ri, careful to step around the lines in the sand, and tapped her chin as she examined them. She made a few more marks and nodded.
"Ah, I forgot that," Nah'ri murmured, nodding and standing up, "right, you're ready?"
Tayo nodded and pressed his mask against her face with a laugh as he caught Everest squinting at them. Nah'ri hoisted their friend onto their shoulders and Tayo rested their head atop Nah'ri's after adjusting their hat.
Nah'ri slid over to Everest and held out a hand, which they took and all three of them were far up in the air in a few flaps of their wings. Tayo hummed a familiar tune, one that Everest had heard when the first stepped into this vast world. Occasionally, Nah'ri surveyed their surroundings and landed on a ledge to allow their wings some rest.
On one ledge, Tayo had removed their hat and handed it to Everest, watching them run in circles as they jumped to catch a butterfly in their hat. This annoyed Nah'ri just slightly, who scolded Tayo for causing a distraction. They bickered back and forth until Everest had caught it and sighed with relief, just for them to yelp and nearly fall into the dark water below when it flew away upon lifting the hat.
"Had enough fun, Everest?" Nah'ri pouted. The moth in question stood back up with a jump and ran back towards the pair. Nah'ri kneeled down and Everest carefully placed the hat back atop Tayo's head where it belonged. Tayo let out an amused huff as they adjusted it.
"Sorry, it kept getting away!" Everest apologized once Nah'ri stood back up and offered their hand.
"It's fine, you're a moth. I don't expect anything differently."
They took Nah'ri's hand and were pulled up into the air again, flying effortlessly over one of the dark dragons that terrified them to their core. They'd looked back warily at the monsters as they flew through a passageway, briefly hearing a distant roar as they landed for Nah'ri to take a brief break.
"Someone got hurt, we need to go—" before Everest finished their sentence, Tayo loudly interrupted to ruffle their hair.
"Don't worry about 'em! I know them, I met them some time ago. They told me to buzz off when me and Nah'ri recollected the winged light that got scattered around," Tayo shrugged. Nah'ri chuckled and muttered in response, "hm, seems like them alright."
Everest scratched their head as they were essentially dragged along on foot up a sandy hill, "huh? They don't want help? Why?"
Tayo began to speak, but she was cut off by her friend, "no clue, but they've never really seemed to like people. Anyways, Ares should be nearby, we should check on him."
As they approached a spear and shield halfway buried in the dune, they heard the jungle of a bell. Nah'ri inhaled sharply as she came to a halt a few feet away.
"Wait, you and that freak back there have hi—" Tayo began to question, but fell off her back onto the sand with an 'umf', and Everest giggled as they let go of Nah'ri and ran to Tayo to pull him back onto his feet. "Yea, that was Phobos, they don't like anyone."
Tayo thanked Everest for the help and groaned as he and Nah'ri approached the shield together, Everest trailing not far behind. "Megabird, is everyone in the Wasteland cranky and weird? Sheesh!" Tayo scoffed. The bell rang as another person stood up from behind the shield, keeping their hands on it, and moving their head to face the noise.
Everest caught up with them and panted. When they looked up, they tilted their head at the stranger, who honked in response to Tayo's words. Tayo began to explain their situation to them as the currently grey figure honked and glanced held out a candle towards no one in specific. Their was a silent few seconds before Nah'ri nudged Everest in the direction of the candle.
"That's for you. He can't see you," Nah'ri explained, "as in, he's blind." Everest nodded in understanding, holding their candle to his and honking in awe as his outfit came into view. He was dressed head to toe in black, with a blindfold, antlers, and fluffy ears.
"This is Ares, they don't really like talking to people," Ares honked and faced Nah'ri, "no, we didn't bring a table or tea. Sorry."
Everest circled them curiously and reached for his blindfold, "well, maybe they'd see better if they took this off!" Both Nah'ri and Tayo reached for Everest to stop them with a worried look on their faces.
"Everest— wait!" they shouted simultaneously.
Ares tilted his head towards and swiftly lifted their hands to their face as they felt their blindfold being loosened and then fall off. One hand pulled down his hat to cover his eyes as he lowered to sit against the earth.
Everest clutched his blindfold in their hands and froze, looking at their friends apologetically. "Sorry! Sorry, I'll—" Everest began to hand the blindfold back to Ares, who turned towards Everest and blindly flailed one hand around and snatched it back.
"Now, what the Eden did you think you were doing?!" Nah'ri scolded. She placed her hands on her hips and stomped towards Everest with genuine anger. Tayo followed behind her and pulled her backwards by her cape just as they lifted their hand to flick Everest's mask. Nah'ri's anger turned to shock as she yelped and hissed a curse at her friend.
"Relax, they're just a kid, alright? They're new to the world," Tayo rested a hand on their shoulder as they softened, "remember how the moths used to—and still do—ask really intrusive questions about my condition?"
Nah'ri inhaled calmly, "yeah... it wasn't none of their business, but they were just asking and making assumptions because they haven't seen it before." Tayo nodded with a grin beneath their mask as Nah'ri looked back towards Everest, now much kinder, "look, kid, I'm... I'm s—"
As Nah'ri choked on their words, Ares honked in despair. The group looked over instinctively to find that their witch hat had been stolen from their hands by a passing breeze. As they began reach to grab it, Everest flapped their wings and glided towards it. They caught it not far away and skipped on back, looking towards Nah'ri. She smiled approvingly! They handed Ares their hat and looked up at them as they placed it back on their head.
Nah'ri tried her best to restrain a giggle as Everest gasped at the sight. As they adjusted it to ensure it wouldn't take off again and felt their blindfold for which side was to face outwards, the moth saw why they covered their face; they had a huge scar across their eyes and hollow eye sockets with perfectly rounded dark stone orbs inside of them.
They honked loudly and ran over to Tayo, pointing back at Ares who tied their blindfold back on and tilted their head towards Everest's commotion. Ares honked a few times and Nah'ri reassured them that this wouldn't become a huge deal.
"Tayo, his eyes are dark stones! He has a super weird scar! How did that happen?!"
Tayo let out an anxious chuckle and rubbed the back of their neck, "well, it's not really my place to explain. You can ask him."
"Bad idea, he doesn't like to talk about it," Nah'ri spoke, and Ares shot up with a scared honk, "and I told him that this wouldn't happen."
Ares hid behind the shield again with an anxious honk, and Tayo chuckled, gesturing Everest towards him. "C'mon, Nah'ri, our buddy here could use a few friends! They could end up as close as us."
Nah'ri murmured something about Eden that Everest didn't catch as they kneeled in front of Ares and laid out seven white candles in front of them. Ares had sat with his face against their knees and a bright blue hue emanated from it. They moved their hands over the offerings and considered for a while before accepting them.
Everest glanced back towards Tayo, who was still talking with their... partner? It was hard to tell what those two had but Everest suspected that there was something deeper than friendship between them. Tayo gasped and turned Nah'ri's face towards the other two. Nah'ri seemed surprised.
"Well, would you look at that," Nah'ri teased, "Ares wants to talk?"
"Shut up," Ares hissed weakly, then stood up, flicking their ears, "let's get moving."
"What about your eyes?" Everest asked, following Ares as they walked in the direction of the broken temple. Nah'ri had walked ahead with Tayo on their back. Tayo offered Ares a boost as he climbed up onto their back and Nah'ri offered Everest her hand.
"I don't like to talk about it..." Nah'ri took off once Everest grabbed on and Ares held onto Tayo tight. They looked straight ahead with a pout as Everest looked towards them curiously.
"That's okay."
...
The journey was quiet, with occasional humming as the reached the temple. Tayo had been the one holding the most conversation, asking Everest of their interests and such. They had learned that Everest enjoyed tea and cinnamon rolls from the Aviary Village cafe. Tayo preferred crab and soup. They offered to perform in the Village Theater, confident that they still could put on a good performance despite their condition, but Everest insisted that they would prefer not to watch the lead role faint on-stage. Ares laughed at that, to which Tayo responded with threatening to drop him.
Nah'ri and Everest's feet touched the ground and Nah'ri held out a candle to the dark stone diamond in the center of the platform. after a few moments, the gate began opening and the one- two- no, three dark dragons emerged. Everest's grip on Nah'ri's hand tightened as their vision began to blur as the dragons closed in on the four of them. The last thing they remember seeing was an equally terrified expression on Ares's face as they were pulled into the temple.
...
They had woken up a while later, and it was dark. They must have been out for a long time. They blinked their eyes open and held out a candle. So, this must be the Wasteland Elder's temple. It took them a moment to understand what happened before they fainted, and they looked around frantically to find their friends. They were relieved to find Tayo and Nah'ri just to the right of the elder's altar in the center.
They'd curled up together against the stone, illuminated by lit candles, and Tayo had set her mask and glasses on top of the stone behind them and Nah'ri's red horns were beside them. Huh, those were a headband. It was a cute sight, to see how close they were. Tayo was holding onto Nah'ri as though she was going to slip away from her, and Nah'ri looked completely relaxed.
As the moth considered trying on Tayo's mask, a yawn and the sound of water being shaken in a jar alerted them. They turned to spot Ares sitting on the sand not far away. They slid over and Ares's ear flicked. They tucked their blindfold into the waistband of their dress and stared forward.
"Everest?" they questioned as said moth sat besides them. They hummed a yes in response and pointed to the jar.
"What's that?"
"You're going to need to be a little more specific," Ares spoke as he yawned again, "my jar, I'm assuming?"
Everest hummed a yes and looked up at their now hollow eye sockets. It was a lot more unnerving in the dark, so they pulled their candle from their chest and set it in front of them in the earth. That did not make it less unsettling.
Ares tipped the jar and his two dark stone eyes fell out into his palm. Everest watched him as he pushed them into the sockets and shifted slightly. "This jar has clean water inside it to wash my eyes."
Everest nodded, "ah, I see."
"I don't," Ares grinned. There was an awkward silence and their smile dropped, "not funny? Sorry."
"No, it's fine," Everest reassured, then shifted to face him and sat with their legs crossed, "can I ask you questions?"
Ares thought for a few seconds, then yawned and laid against the sand, "sure. Can't promise I'll answer them, though." They stared at the ceiling and blinked uncomfortably, though that just seemed to be how they adjusted their prosthetic eyes.
Everest looked over towards the other two, still sound asleep though now in a more comfortable position against the floor, "what's their deal? Are they... you know, together or what."
Ares shrugged, "not sure. It's not my business."
Everest pouted at their answer and sighed, removing their mask and rubbing their eyes. They set their mask besides them. "Well, sure, okay," Everest began, "but you've never at least gotten suspicious? They're spooning right now."
Ares thought while they fidgeted with the sleeves of their dress, "like I said, not my business. Whatever they have is for them to sort out." Their tone was tinged with slight annoyance. They should drop the topic. Maybe they'll ask them themselves when they're awake.
"Alright," Everest sighed, "you're very reserved. Why?"
"After that stunt earlier, I'm not too keen to speak to you," Ares hissed and turned their back to the moth. Everest pouted, "I apologized!"
"I couldn't hear it!" they hissed loudly as they shot up and turned, jabbing the moth's chest with an accusatory finger and enraged expression that startled Everest. They retracted their hand and breathed slowly upon realizing their outburst, but his scowl remained on his face, "don't go around taking people's blindfolds off, they might need it."
"Okay, sorry," Everest muttered as Ares huffed and turned back over with their back to them. It was only then when they noticed the amount of stars marking their cape.
"How'd you get so many winged lights?" the moth questioned, and Ares groaned, pulling his hat down over his face and cape further over themselves.
"Eden. Now let me sleep."
Everest slowly reached for their cape to feel the stars on their cape, but he stood up and grabbed his jar and walked closer to the altar and laid down against the floor near a row of candles. He removed his hat and placed it beneath his head. He had gotten comfortable when he heard footsteps approach him and stop in front of him, and sighed.
"What?" they whispered, and heard Everest sit next to them, but they said nothing for a while.
"I know you're still there."
"Did it hurt?" Everest whispered inquisitively and suddenly, "losing your eyes, I mean."
He didn't respond. They felt a warm hand near their face and swatted it away. Everest backed away and stood up to set their mask on the stone of the altar before laying on their back next to Ares. Their breathing slowed to a steady pace as they began to snore lightly, but Everest still had many more questions to ask!
What was Eden? They suspected that that's where the light called them to, but would find out eventually. What's after this temple? Would it be safe, like the previous realms? Why were Nah'ri and Tayo not afraid of the dark dragons? How did Ares lose his eyes, and, upon observation, another question arose...
Why does Ares sleep with his eyes open? That's weird.

⭑ Substitute Teachers ❜
Tumblr media
ᵖ﹕→ ONE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some senior students had agreed to a program to teach students who are still lea rning about this world. To give them tips, and advice, and substitute as their teacher for the day.
You, Alex, and some other students have accepted this opportunity. You love to teach children because you have the patience, hence you're a professional at this. While, Alex has the complete opposite reason, his reason being that he only accepted this for the extra grade he will gain.
With his formal suit on, he gained his courage and headed straight to the office where he will get his directions.
Alex held a straight face as he held his shoulder bag with a strong grip, only smiling at the people he familiarized.
"HUY! KUYA! ANG POGI NIYO PO!" You're so handsome! All the grade students yelled as Alex walked out of his car and headed towards his class.
"MGA BATA! BUMALIK NA KAYO SA CLASSROOM NIYO!" The guard yelled making everyone scatter around and leave the school grounds.
While you got easily lost, fascinated by the school. Which was rumored to have underground buildings and other essentials in a community. It made you wake up from your bed feeling curious and excited.
With your borrowed formal clothes you made your way over to the office where you will get your directions with the help of a guard.
As the two of you walked to the office, you both faced each other.
You looked up from your shoes and saw the man in front of you, just outside the door of the entrance that led to the office.
"Hi." You quietly greeted him first, he just glared at you and faced away from you to look at the door.
Before you could even respond to his demeanor a staff called the two of you to come inside with a smile to seem friendly.
He entered first not even opening the door for you, How rude. Was your FIRST impression of him.
"Okay, parehas kayong late." Okay, you're both late. The staff said with a strong expression that says it all.
"So, what are we going to do now?" He asked. You didn't expect his voice to be soft and sound a bit younger but, moving on.
"May isa nalang room sa building six, meaning parehas niyong tuturuan mga bata doon, mga ilang oras lang." There's only one room left in the sixth building, meaning the both of you have to partner up for now to teach the children, only for a few hours.
"Here's a paper that will inform you about your surroundings and the class." She gave the two of you a paper and you immediately observed the information of the children.
"Grade 3 sila? Akala ko po grade 6 ang tuturuan ko?" They're 3rd graders? I thought I was going to teach 6th graders? You saw their names and couldn't resist judging their names, like come on! Who the fuck names their child Calvin Klein? An underwear brand?
"Ehem! Miss? Are you listening?" She waved her hand in front of you making you snap out and look back up at her.
"Like what I said, there's only one room left!" She firmly said, her annoyance obviously radiating off of her voice.
"Okay po. What time are we going to go there?" He looked up from his clipboard and seeked for her answer.
"In about 40 minutes. Quickly get to know each other, it seems like to you are both strangers." She shooed the two of you and pointed at the door.
"Uhm, alright." You awkwardly held onto the clipboard that came with the paper.
You didn't know where to go so you just followed him around making him a bit annoyed, since he just wanted this day to be over already.
"Are you good?" You gave him a smile, assuring him that he could talk to you.
"Yeah." He responded dryly, "Well, alright, I heard the cafeteria in this school is pretty large and has good food, would you like to come?" You offered him to come with you.
"Err.. 'wag na, mamaya nalang, may 12 minutes nalang tayo before we go to the children's room." Err.. we can't, maybe later, since we only have 12 minutes before entering the children's room. He differed.
"Oh, come on! Mabilis lang naman." It will be quick! You insisted, standing up to see if he would come along.
"Seriously, no. Bahala ka nalang diyan, if you get late." He picked up his stuff and headed to the 6th building.
Oh, he's pretty bossy. You grabbed your stuff and followed him to the building.
You both entered the room and was greeted by the children in the class. "Hello!" You waved at them with your charisma.
"Goodmorning po!" They all said in unison while standing up, some with their cheeky smile.
"I'm Ate Y/N! You don't have to call me Teacher Y/N pero, it's fine if you want to." You noted to them.
"And this is-" He cut you off, "Goodmorning, I'm Kuya Alex, and is there someone who's willing to introduce themselves in front of the class?" They stayed silent not wanting to do it.
That's too straight forward, baka nahihiya yung mga bata. You thought for a moment, "Or! Let's play a little game!" They agreed and waited for you to respond,
"I want everyone to stand up." They all stood up, surprising Alex a bit, "Okay po, very good. Partner yourselves into TWO or more!" They all rushed to their very best friends and held the other.
"Okay, sige. So with your group pwede po ba kayong mag-stay sa isang table so that we can start the introduction?" Alright. So, with your group, can we stay around one table so that we can start our introduction? They nodded and laughed in excitement.
"Here's a twist! We are not going to introduce ourselves but! Introduce the other person in your group! Like this, This is Alex po, he's my best friend he can be a bit bossy at times but he's a great friend!" They gasped and excitedly nodded.
"So, who wants to go first!?" Most of them raised their hand and you picked the one that caught your eye first. As they all introduced their friend one by one, Alex observed the whole thing happen, simply shocked by your teaching style.
"All of you are very good students! But! I'll give a piece of chocolate to the one who will answer my question!" You caught their attention automatically and students prepared to raise their hand to participate even if they get it wrong.
"Oh sige, how do we put an elephant in a fridge?" You saw a lot of the same hands so you decided to choose one who hasn't been raising her hand at all.
"You! How do we put an elephant in a fridge?" She hesitantly stood up, the other kids looking at her for her answer.
"Kakatayin po!" We slaughter it! She confidently answered, making you, Alex, and the other kids laugh at her answer.
"AY! Nice try, Reb, maybe that was a unique answer but the real answer is-".
"So, does anybody have a question?" Alex looked at each one of them with a friendly smile.
"Me!" One child raised his hand, "Okay, go ahead." He crossed his arms. "Mag-jowa po ba kayo ni Ate Y/N?" Are you and Y/N together? He asked shocking the two of you while the whole class cheered on with an "Ayie!"
"Okay, thank you for your question, Jak. But, me and Ate Y/N are friends!" The disappointed look they had after his answer made you laugh.
"Any other questions?" "Ako po!" "Okay, Roberto go." "May jowa na po ba kayo?" Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend? What is it with these ridiculous questions, Alex thought. "Wala pa po, I'm quite busy with my studies." You answered.
Another disappointed look but someone raised their hand again, "May crush ka po?" Do you have a crush? Nanaman? "Okay, the next person who asks about my love life will gain a deduction on the next seatwork." Finally, they stopped.
The class hour ended meaning you and Alex had to say your goodbye's and see if you both can come back tomorrow...

wet the bed
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— napilit ng mga kamag-anak mo sa gathering ng pamilya niyo ang boyfriend mong si heeseung na sumayaw ng trend na wet the bed. but as funny as it may sound, it still turned you on.
Pairing: heeseung x reader
Genre: fluff, crack(?), suggestive
Language: tagalog - english
Warnings: filipino christmas gatherings/reunions, suggestive jokes from elders, heeseung forced to dance for a game 💀, established relationship.
a/n: merry christmas! eto regalo ko sainyo rawr 😭 enjoy!
“Go, kuya hee!”
Gusto mo ba?” Tanong mo.
“Go, heeseung!”
“Blush po yan, make up yan!”
“Okay naman ‘no? Namula ka dahil sa sayaw ko,” ngayon ay sigurado ka nang nang aasar ito lalo na dahil sa mga nakaloloko niyang ngiti.
“Blush on nga yun,” pagdepensa mo.

genre: senior!ushijima wakatoshi au, short oneshot, fluff warnings: grammatical errors, not proofread, written in filipino/tagalog
xian’s note: senior ushijima brainrot bc i’m missing my senior crush na mag graduate na hay
Tumblr media
“hindi ba sabi ko umuwi ka na?” you hear the familiar voice and look towards it. “oh ikaw nanaman?” oo, siya nanaman. “uwi ka na sabi e, tignan mo mag didilim na tas nandito ka pa” sabi ni ushijima. nasa organization room ka pa, inaayos yung gamit para sa next event, kaya napa-late ka nanaman na uwi.
“eh ikaw ba’t nandito ka pa?” “may training kasi ako, alam mo na ‘yun”
daming eme naman neto sa buhay, you sighed and cleaned up the room muna. “y/n sabay na…” napalingon ka uli, ay org-mate mo lang pala. he stopped sa entrance ng room, standing next to ushijima, he was small compared to him.
“…tayo” he finished what he said napatingin lang so ushijima sainyong dalawa. “sasama na siya sakin,” sabi naman ni ushijima. “huy—?” sabi mo naman tas tumango nalang ‘tong org-mate mo. “ay oh sige, ingat kayo!” sabi niya, tas umalis na rin.
“ba’t mo ba sila tinatakot?” “‘di ko man ah, not my fault they get intimidated by me”
nga naman, ‘di kasalanan ni ushijama ba’t sila natatakot sakanya, napatawa ka nalang. “hatid na kita,” sabi ni ushijima at tuluyan pumasok sa room. “hindi na kaya ko na ‘to, may training ka pa diba?” sabi mo na patanong, he didn’t mind what you just said, acting as if wala siyang narinig.
“senior ka na kasi… sus,” you say with a little ‘tsk’ sound.
“you’ll just miss me once i graduate,” sabi niya sabay tawa, he isn’t like this always, pero moments like this always get you hooked onto him. “ma-feeling!” you say with a small laugh.
tinignan ka lang ni ushijima, but his gaze— it was a sweet gaze. mas bumilis pa pag tibok ng puso niya pag nakikita niya ang ngiti mo.
corny niya ‘no? lakas maka haitd sundo sa’yo kala mo jowa mo na. eh wala siguro pakipot lang ‘to o gusto niya pa ng pogi points para makuha naman puso mo.
the laughter died down pero one question stays im ushijima’s mind and that is,
“y/n, pwede ba kita ligawan?”
