Class & Path Features Wizard [Blood Magic]: The blood magic school is an extension of the Tal'Dorei Campaign - for such a 'special' bhaalspawn, however, I found it quite fitting. To quote the description of the class from the Campaign: “Blood magic - also known as haemocraft - is a rare art that harnesses the latent powers of a creature's life force to enhance the caster's own abilities while manipulating and weakening the enemy's body from within. Some of the more macabre mages, seeking to enhance their arcane pursuits, turn to the hemo-art to amplify their spells by donating the blood of their own lives to reach new heights of terrifying magical prowess.”

Even on the Sword Coast, this kind of magic would put most wizards off. It incorporates parts from the school of necromancy - coupled with the macabre manipulation of the life force of living beings, this magical art does not make friends. However, Lux is unaware of this at the beginning of her journey and has to learn it through trial and error.

Background information

Although Lux was shaped into the form of a Drow (At least they assumed she was a Drow - she does look a little strange for a dark elf.) , she did not end up in the Underdark. As a foundling, she was first found in Waterdeep and came to Candlekeep via several detours. Finding a Drow baby above ground was strange enough. But it didn't take the scholars and wizards much to realize that there were other things wrong with this child. So she was taken into the care of some local wizards.

For most of her time at Candlekeep, she was treated less as a growing child and more as a research project. It didn't help that most of the Keep's residents and apprentices preferred to steer clear of the strange Drow girl. Not only did she have a special talent for necromancy, but she also tended to throw violent tantrums and generally exhibited quite disturbing behavior for a child. This ensured that she spent long stretches locked up.

The urge that had always slumbered within her finally awoke in her late teenage years. With the Urge, Sceleritas Fel also appeared in her life. A being who was kind to her without much in return - even more so - who practically adored her. So it wasn't difficult for her to follow his whispers and make a bloody escape from Candlekeep.

Fel's Character Sheet for @bareee's @tav-dex!

These are the starting stats only, no buffs/feats or anything. I'll do another 'End Game' sheet bc there'll be a different class, different look, diff stat spread, diff everything bc *plot developments*

(I have a whole story written including immediately before the events of BG3 but I want to try and get my head around comics first so I can tell it that way - comic layouts are my Achilles heel this will not be in the very near future)

I finally caved and participated in making a tav card (made by the amazing @tav-dex)

This is my pookie bear Tav aka my main playthrough (i’ll def introduce more Tavs once I finish this playthrough).

Despite being the dark urge, Tav was raised on the streets of Baldur’s Gate learning everything about the art of music from her surrogate brother a satyr named Petyr. When the urge took over during her teenage years, Tav killed Petyr. Thus, Sceleritas Fel whisked her away to the Temple of Bhaal. Due to her guilt for the murder of her brother, Tav submitted fully to her urges and evil.

My headcanon is that when introducing herself to Shadowheart and Astarion she cannot remember her own name. When desperatley trying to recall anything she sees a sign for a ruined tavern and uses "Tav" as her new name lol.

Due to her amnesia caused by Orin, Tav essentially reverts to her personality before the urge first took over. That of a cheerful bard who tries her hardest to be good despite everything.

Lux of Candlekeep

I am almost a beginner when it comes to drawing. So my style changes all the time. I just didn't think it would take me less than a month to draw a new reference sheet for Lux.

Made an entry for the @tav-dex for my gal!

This is Twig. She doesn't remember her actual name (Særós) after getting lobotomised by her sister in Moonrise.

She names herself after a small twig on the ground.

She's charming, desperate to make friends, but has a strange tendency to stare out into the middle distance, say unhinged shit (I will build a castle of bones), and smile displaying teeth that are way to sharp for a half elf.

My lovely BG3 character, Adeline! She romances Astarion, and I adore the way they bitch together <3

Adeline Silversong is a College of Swords bard that fled from her House in Menzoberranzan.

She was a noble destined to become a priestess of Lolth, until she befriended a young man that had been captured from the surface by members of her house. His name was Atlas, he was a drow half-elf. He told Adeline all about the surface and the freedom it brought, away from the cutthroat politics of the Underdark.

After a scouting party she was a part of was attacked, Atlas was killed, and she used the opportunity to flee to the surface, where she's travelled the Sword Coast ever since.

She is mostly focused on her own self-interests, though she will occasionally help people out of the kindness of her heart. She always has a snarky comeback at the ready, and is very good at reading people to find their insecurities and exploit them.
