tate stood waiting outside for marcus, he would chastise her for not coming in from the cool night air, but if she went in, he would give her hell for coming to meet him anyway. she couldn't help herself, even when he told her to stay home, she worked all day and missed him too much not to meet him after work, if only to maximize the time they could be together. tate snuffed out her cigarette and checked her phone once more, falling back against the exterior wall of the building. the sound of a heavy door caught her attention and she turned to spot marcus finally leaving work. "hey, stranger." she grinned, propping a leg up against the wall, an attempt to be alluring.
