I love this piece. Most of these creatures are super simple to draw, so this actually was a lot of fun to create. Usually, most YN fan art just feature Madosuki and one other character, so I wanted to feature most of the creatures featured in the game.

Crowley/Aziraphale from good omens - I just finished watching the new season so they're on my mind. they have the world’s most agonizing slow-burn romance and I’m here for it.

Yuudai/Tasei from SAKANA - I just. I love these funny fish market guys so much. I’m such a sucker for the grumpy guy x ray of sunshine ship dynamic. Very excited for this comic to start updating again!

Raine/Eda from The Owl House - I love both Raine and Eda as characters so of course I also love them together. AND I am not over the fact that we got a canonical nonbinary character in a children’s cartoon WHO ALSO GETS A COOL MONSTER GIRLFRIEND!

I’ve been listening to a lot of The Scary Jokes recently. their new album, Retinal Bloom, is rlly good. I’ve also been listening to Burn Pygmalion again, which might be one of my favorite albums ever?? definitely recommend checking them out if you haven’t heard their music before.

Last movie you watched?

it’s been a minute since I actually sat down to watch a movie so I actually don’t know lol. If I had to guess it was probably the D&D movie! I really loved the mix of cgi and practical effects they used! The unfortunate side effect of watching that movie is that now I want to cosplay all my characters SO BAD. but I don’t have cosplay money rn😔😔😔

What are you currently reading?

I’m slowly making my way through Frankenstein! I actually picked up this copy from a local used bookstore and didn’t realize until later that it’s a Norton Critical edition. So it has the original 1818 text plus a bunch of extra historical context and annotations, which is pretty cool!

I’m also re-reading the first Wolves of the Beyond book, I read the whole series once as a kid and thought it would be fun to revisit. its....okay. Definitely not as well written as I remember but I guess I should have expected that lol

What are you currently watching?

Like I said above, I just finished watching the new Good Omens season a couple of days ago! I do have some criticisms, and I don’t think it rlly compares to the first season or to the book, but I enjoyed it overall and had really fun time watching it!

Finally got the RAWS for Noah Notes and honestly, I liked this manga or at least I was intrigued. Alas not even the fanservice was enough to keep it alive. Hope some other group picks up and finish it cause Jaimini has that bad habit of dropping projects halfway.

Other mangas I managed to grap where:

Nekowappa: A cute comedy about a kid raised by cat gods. I liked it a lot but it was clearly aimed at younger audiences.

Doubel Tasei: Interesting premise. This does the opposite and I think is too slow paced and grim for jump. Then again I said the same for Chainsaw man and is still going..

Hime doll: One of those “the pilot was better than the manga” I still liked it

Beast Children: a by the numbers spokon. Honestly, all it does is remind me to get back to All out.

Akaboshi: A chinese themed battle manga from years ago. love the artwork a shame is so short.

Tokyo Shinobi Squad: Ninjas again only in the near future. Ehhhhh let´s see where this goes cause it doesn´t seem that promising so far.

Kiben Gakuha: An odd horror stories manga. It starts kinda confusing but gets better later one and has a good ending. Funny they changed the guy from a teacher in the pilot to a student, guess they didn´t liked the impiled romance. Might be what also cancelled Noah Notes...

[[i must say first, i didn’t expect a strange amalgamation of a mado family to spawn this direct but indirect sense of companionship to the point to the point we got a heckin’ meme goin. funniest thing is is that our mados didnt even really interact yet and we’re already shoulder nudging a gag family thing or smth. i mean gosh all i did was make gift art and suddenly BOOM weird proclaimed bond because you two thought my act was sweet!! not gonna lie, it’s a little silly, but i like silly, and i dont see any harm done with it. the #madotsquad is apparently a thing now and it’s a little inside joke that’s too cute to deny. shoutouts to @sarcolinesomnium for making this meme and being one of the trio to this cute lil’ fad.]]
