What was boyfriend life before he was adopt by sarv?

I'm glad you asked! I've been thinking about this for a while now.

Boyfriend was an orphan up until he was around 10 years old. He lived at an orphanage, but often times ran away/would sneek out to spend time with Pico and Piconjo (who are also adopted in this au by Tankman). Pico's family were really the only people who made Bf happy in those times.

Boyfriend was always scared that he'd be prevented from seeing his best friend if any of the caretakers at the orphanage found out, so they kept it a secret

He was bounced around to a few homes, but none of them up until Sarv stuck. In fact, when Sarvente first adopted him he thought she would return him as well, and it took him a while to accept and realize that she wasn't going to leave him behind.

Since all of that was pretty sad and angsty, here's some Bf and Pico as children playing games

Garcello

Would probably be annoyed like "hey my hair's a mess :(((" and probably ask for his hat back.

But tbh you look a lot cuter in it so..

You get a pass. At least for the rest of the day.

Ruv

He can tell when someone's gonna sneak up on him.

So you never get to steal his hat.

But because he's (somewhat) nice, he'll let you wear it if you're cold.

Expect him to take it back the moment you're both inside.

Boyfriend

GF is always doing that to him.

So for you, his best friend, to snatch his hat too makes him sigh.

"Beep pa bap!"

When he's off-duty, you're always stealing his helmet.

Of course there's plenty of identical ones he could use, but he likes that helmet specifically.

To steal it back he'll prob engage you in a tickle war.

Tbh..GF used to do that to him, too. But you had no idea

So when you steal his hat, it kinda sends him into a meltdown.

You're horrified and immediately give it back, hugging him till he calmed down enough to tell you why he freaked out.

Since then he just randomly gives it to you, bc you do look cute in it.

Zardy

Surprisingly it's not stitched to his head.

Which means it can blow away with strong winds (or Droughts).

Usually you always catch it and wear it around till you find Zardy again.

He feels insecure without it so he appreciates you returning it.
