Inosuke Hashibira:

"I'll protect you."

Your body was picked up and slammed against a distant tree as if you were nothing. You felt your breath leave your lungs as you knew something was broke. Thankfully, you still had a death grip on the sword.

Blood dripped down your lips as you coughed. You had to get up and fight that stupid demon. You could've defeated it, but you weren't paying attention and allowed the demon to sling your body.

You shouldn't have split up from the squad, but damn it all if you didn't want to challenge Insouke on how many demons you got!

You saw the ugly figure of the demon and you hesitantly stood up. You held the sword tightly and charged but as you got closer to the demon, you realized you underestimated it.

Before you had time to even think of what breath to use, the demon ran fast toward you and grabbed your neck and disarmed you with the other. The demon tightened its grip, and you scratched and tried to pry its hands off.

Just when you saw blots of white, you heard a squeal and saw Insouke come down from dropping off a tree and sliced the demon's arm off.

You breathed graciously as you landed on the ground and tried to compose yourself.

"S/o," Inosuke said, not mispronouncing your name. "I'll protect you!"

You smirked lopsided at Inosuke as your body stayed glued to the ground.

Inosuke fumed under his mask at your smile and blushed furiously, "But you owe me one, hear that?!"

Zenitsu Agatsuma:

"Kiss me again."

"Y/n, please marry me! We don't have much time left and the others aren't here! We can elope together!!"

"Zenitsu are you even looking for it?" You huffed and turned to the other side so he wouldn't see your growing blush.

Well, you did kinda get yourself into the situation. He lost haori last night in the woods, so he asked you to help him find it. And since he was your crush, you said yes.

"You're not answering my question..!" He persisted as he scooted closer. You looked over and saw his puppy dog eyes and you felt your heart yearn. You blushed brightly before turning your head again.

"Oh? Y/n? Was that a blush...?" Zenitsu said happily.

You wiped your head to deny his claim, but since he was so close you accidentally grazed lips against his. Your face heated and you backed up. You covered your mouth and felt thoughts race. Did you regret it or not? What if he liked someone else more and was in a fit of desperation?

Zenitsu face was pink and a goofy smile was plastered wide. He sighed happily before saying "Please, Y/n..." He looked into your eyes softly, pupils wide. "Kiss me again."

You looked down and thought "Well, crap..." In a sudden fit to finally release your feelings for him you decided.

You grasped his shoulders softly and pressed your lips against his before releasing, but it wasn't enough as he pulled you back into the kiss again.

It was soft and pure, and you melted against him. When you both backed up to catch a breath he asked, all too happy, "So is that a yes?"

Tanjirou Kamado:

"I won't forget this moment."

You petted Tanjirou's head as it was laid upon your lap. You pulled the blanket over him more. He needed the rest bad. He finally got a quiet moment. You grazed your fingers delicately across his cheeks. You hummed happily.

He then softly grasped your hand and kissed it. He pressed your hand against his face and sighed happily. "Thank you, s/o."

You nodded, "No need, you deserve it." You brushed your free hand against his hair, twisting it and curling it. He closed his eyes and breathed lightly, his chest rising and falling in rhythm. You felt hypnotized by the peacefulness and felt your eyelids grow heavy and you closed them, sitting upright still.

When you awoke again, it was in the middle of the might and you were tucked away peacefully in from futon, Tanjirou at your side. Even if he was tired and injured, he still was so caring.

You shuffled a bit to get more comfortable and to face him, which awoke Tanjirou.

"Sorry, just go back to sleep, sweetie." You said quietly. He saw your face in the dimly from the light inside(which needed to be refilled soon). He pressed a hand on your cheek and leaned his forehead against yours.

"I won't forget this moment." He spoke lowly. "You make me so happy..." He retrieved his hand and grabbed your hand instead and drifted back off to sleep.

You felt your heart swell and closed your eyes again. He has no idea how happy he makes you.

To Build a Family (Tanjiro x Reader)

If you can have Biological Children or Get Pregnant:

the doting starts way before the kid comes

He is such a worrywart 

Makes sure you are well feed and can rest plenty the second he knows you’re pregnant

Constantly talks to the baby in you

God that sounds so weird

Tells the baby about how you two can’t wait to meet them, how they have an Aunt Nezuko who is so excited and an Uncle Zenitsu and Uncle Inosuke!

About how loved they already are

When your pregnancy is farther along, he will ask to not go on missions far away

Looovvvveeesss feeling the baby bump and is so excited when they start kicking!!!!

Later on in the pregnancy anytime you sit up, his eyes fly to you and he perks up, just in case you go into labour 

Won’t let you do anything

Anytime he sees you cooking or cleaning, he asks to do it instead and for you to sit down instead

Basically you can be sleeping and he is just in the hallway like:

“Amazing, incredible, inspiring, life-changing”

Now in actual labour, he is so scared, he’s lost so much and so many people and the last thing he wants is to add another person on that list

He looks so calm on the outside, but on the inside he is so panicked

However he knows he has to reliable right now and help you and the baby

The moment a midwife or medic is attending to you, he holds your hand the whole time, softly whispering praises and reassurances into your side

One of the happiest moments of his life is hearing your two’s baby first cry into the world, healthy and whole

Wants you to hold the baby first but is super antsy to hold them

Tears fall from his eyes as he looks at the newest member of his family, the days he spent alone and the ones where the idea of a home or normal life was the only thing that kept him going

To hold his child beside the love of his life, to have his sister and friends near by and alive

It’s exactly what he has been fighting for and to have that now causes overwhelming elation beyond words

All he can do is to embrace the two of you

How come Tanjiro isn't a Hashira/pillar?

A good Question Anon! I hope you don’t mind me going into a little bit of depth with this ^-^

To start off with Tanjirou while talented - or at least having some sort of talent - didn’t have enough talent or skills that stood out to become a Hashira/Pillar right away! His strength puts him at the very base level of Mizunoto meaning that to achieve that Hashia/Pillar status, you have to have almost unnatural amounts of skill + power, something that Tanjirou only gains gradually throughout the series! - which is good because we don’t want an overpowered MC 

We have to remember that to be a member of the Hashira/Pillar, a Demon Slayer must be among the strongest combatants in the entirety of the Demon Slayer Corps! 

Overall there are two known methods that allow someone to prove that they are worthy of becoming a Hashira/pillar:

 Accumulate a Demon kill count of at least 50 as a Kinoe - [NOTE] A Kinoe is the rank just underneath Hashira/Pillar!

Slay a Demon who is a member of the Twelve Kizuki/Moons - these are the 12 strongest Demons who serve directly under Muzan 

The effort required to achieve this rank - using either of these methods - requires almost five years worth of training with the talented only taking two or so years to do so!

Now while my memory is abit hazy on this info but Tanjirou didn’t kill any of the moons - both upper and lower - by himself, it was mainly him helping or a group effort that took them down, so him earning the Hashira/Pillar rank that way is out of the question! I also don’t have any knowledge on his demon kill count nor if his rank changed as the series progressed

We also have to remember that a person also needs 5 years worth of training to be even considered as well as having a high kill count! Something that Tanjirou doesn’t have - at least trainingwise - since he’s relatively new!

OH! We also have to take into consideration that by the time he most likely had enough skill + potential to be a Hashira/Pillar that Muzan had been defeated along with most demons dying out! So Tanjirou never got to reach that level.

Falling to his knees he cried, screaming in anguish seeing the massacre before him. Seeing you. Your lifeless body covered in blood, and he sobbed uncontrollably as he held you in his arms.

Time Skip

Tanjiro stared at your body one last time before preparing to bury it, he brushed the few strands of hair and placed it behind your ear.

Tears brimmed from his eyes, and he brought his head down to the crook of your neck and cried. He whispered sweet things into your ear.

And kissed your forehead, then he closed your eyes and placed you in the grave.

this all happened at the battle against the lower moon 5 and his family 🕷🕷🕸🕸

I tried to create these scenes so male and female can be (y/n) ^_^

T A N J I R O

tanjiro could not move. the threads of the lower moon 5 is coming in hot and he just used all his final energy on performing the hinokami kagura dance. not only that, nezuko was exhausted to the fact that she would not move. Tanjiro thought, was this the end? Would I never get to say "I love you" to (y/n) again?

tanjiro had told you to stay at a safe spot since you whined about going into such a dirty and dark forest which already smells bad from standing near it. he allowed you to stay outside so that you would not feel uncomfortable and would stay safe. but at this point, that ongoing 6th sense you were born with, otherwise as tanjiro would say, gifted with, awas shaking like mad and would not keep still. this worried you alot. like ALOT. you could not put your finger onto, and therefore, you reluctantly dashed into the forest and used your senses and instincts to guide where your lover is.

you could not believe your eyes upon your arrival, the threads was coming in hot at tanjiro, he looked so exhausted at this point. you had to keep your cool and slack-ish mood on. doing your best, eyes half lidded, you tired to make a smooth entrance, which you quite successfully performed.

"breath of ( ), first form:( )"

using your breath, you cool glided through the air as if stepping on invisible platforms before coming down and slicing all the threads with built up momentum in a heartbeat.

"what the-" the spider demon was shocked. he could not sense your presence, it was so calm and stoic he could sense no malicious intent. at least not until you showed up in front of him.

you looked at him through your (e/c) eyes, smirked, before using Breath of ( ), Third form: ( ), which diced his neck so small he could fill half a rice bowl with it.

Tanjiro glanced at you through tired eyes, but inside he was pounding with awe. the (y/n) who does not move an inch in missions just saved him? not only that she used such unique breaths ! "never judge a book by its cover" huh? before he collapse into deep slumber.

Z E N I T S U

Zenitsu followed behind you. Your movements were slow already and your lover followed even slower, into the deep dark forest fearfully. you tried to keep your composure calm and collected but it was nearly getting overthrown by either zenitsu's crying; annoyance otherwise the spiders which seems to be roaming around with a strange pattern; fear.

while you were noting down all these minute details, you heard an "ouch!" which nearly made you jump. a faint squeak was produced from you but zenitsu did not hear it as he was still screaming and crying. "pipe down Zen.. I'm only hear to accompany you not fight. as soon as you kill this demon we're getting out of this shitty, smelly-"

another ear piercing scream was produced by your lover. you were about to throw a punch at him when you looked at the direction he was looking and saw probably, the last thing you would ever want to see in this forest: a spider with a human head, bald and nearly the size of zenitsu's chest (heh)

*time skip to after the damned you story demon explained how zenitsu would turn into a spider and turn from dumb to dumber*

zenitsu could sense, or should I say,hear a sound coming from you which sounded like nails scratching on chalkboard. it was clear to him, that your patience has already been completely wiped out. Your face does not show it but internally, you were blazing with an anger like never before. you could only think of these few thoughts which continuously circulated within you:

how, how DARE thay demon. touch zenitsu. that filthy demon, smelling like shit and has a horrible attitude, targeted your lover and not you?

Your priority was zenitsu first and then you yourself. that's why whenever some thing targets zenitsu first, you would not have the patience to deal with it. before zenitsu could react and tell you to calm down, and say that it was going to be alright, you quietly said, while changing your aura from a constant calm, to an abrupt anger.

"breath of ( ), fifth form: ( ). Your movements were so swift and light at the same time. it cut through the demon when the demon could not even blink. the demon did not see or sense it coming, somehow. it was like a small breeze coming at his face. it felt so light and soothing. yet, it cut his neck without him noticing. small yet deadly.

while the demon was cursing, why he could not kill a midget like you, you mustered all your strength to lift zenitsu and carried him to find the kakushi and asking zenitsu to hear them at the same time. at least, not before you diced the demon's head to shut it up.

zenitsu started at you with shocked. (y/n) who does not really move and is always against getting her sword dirty just saved him. he stared at your back-to-stoic demeanour. he could only hear a peaceful sound coming from you as you carried him into the forest looking for kakushi or any pillars which can cure his hopeless little self.

I N O S U K E

As tanjiro got flunged away by the huge spider demon, also known as "dad", you had gone through the pros and cons. firstly, the fact that tanjiro got swung away meant you have one less person to look after. however, you just lost a manpower in the group..! you were quite in a lost. usually, tanjiro and inosuke would be fighting together but this time its just you and him. you and your lover: inosuke ..

now's not the time for that! you mentally scolded yourself. the moment you looked up, the demon was ready to come down with blow you skwre could bust your skull, your eyeballs squirt and your teeth fly out. if not for inosuke, who pushed you away as you tumbled onto the water with a splashed and your entire haori and hair drenched. you watched as the blow which could be hit you smashed on your love's back. here was no snap, thanks to him being a rough mountain boy, but however, inosuke's movements are stunned and were slower.

without resting, your lover turned around and tired to deliver a blow on the bastard Damon's head. he sliced it just by a little before the demon ran off cowardly into the forest and away from the lake you guy just battled on.

time skip to the moment where you guys found the demon. it was shedding it's skin. it was not only unsightly, it tried to kill you again. not that you'd mind though, as long as it does not go for inosuke and could buy him time to recover and deliver a blow on the damned spider demon-

again. inosuke pushed you away and the demon grabbed inosuke's head tightly.

"RUN..!" you could be sworn you saw his life flashing through his masked eyes. from the moment he was born to the moment he met you. why was he trying so hard to play hero? you thought. no. why, were you so unable to move. why? stop being a sloth and be who you really are.

at this point you were not having it. one thought led to another, " Breath of ( )! Third form:( )!"your blade moved so quickly and because you jumped from a tree which built up momentum while you were coming down with a blow, which completely sliced through the tough demon's head and through the neck, splitting the neck and head in half vertically.

before inosuke reached the ground, you caught him mid air while landing a step on the demon's corpse. inosuke was shocked. his (y/n) who never liked moving around and always moved slowly just killed a demon which he tried oh so hard to kill. he was amazed. you swore you could sense fuwa fuwa emotions from your man. but nevertheless, you made anmentsl note to always stay on alert so as to keep your lover from danger.

"Y/N, calm down. We know that you are excited but please..." Aoi was just watching Y/N running around. The two were friends and helped Shinobu in the Butterfly Estate.

However, Aoi was tired of seeing her friend running around trying to finish everything fast so they could go home to greet their boyfriend.

"But I wanna go home! Tanjirou is suppose to come home today and I want to wait for him to greet him!"

Sighing, Aoi stood up from where she was. "You know what? Just go. I can tell Shinobu-san that you had a problem and had to go home early. There isn't to much to do so it's no problem."

Stopping in an instant, Y/N turned to give Aoi their biggest smile. "Thank you so much Aoi! Count on me for whatever you need in the future!"

Aoi just smile at them and nodded her head. Happy that her friend finally got to do what they were so excited for.

In their way home, Y/N bought all the ingredients to make Tanjirou's favorite food. Knowing that maybe he will arrive hungry and probably tired, they want to give him a big welcome. Hopping to help him feel better.

They finished buying all the things and kept walking home. It wasn't so far so they arrive in just a few minutes. Leaving the bags in the table, Y/N took out what was needed and began working in the food.

Y/N was so concentrated in making the food that they didn't heard the door opening. They just kept cooking.

Tanjirou was tired after a long mission. The Demon he had to killed was strong and took a lot of work to fight. And then the journey back home was long. After all that, the only thing that the boy want is to be in Y/N's arms and relax for a long time.

"I'm home!" the boy smell the scent of his favorite plate coming from the kitchen. His feet made the way to the place without him realizing it. He found himself looking at Y/N's back moving while cooking.

Y/N turned around in search of some ingredients when they found Tanjirou smiling at them.

Everything was so fast for Tanjirou. First, Y/N turned around to pick some ingredients and a second later he found himself in the floor with Y/N on top of him.

"Tanjirou! I missed you so much!" Y/N was hugging Tanjirou tightly. They face pressing his chest. Lifting their face from his chest, they give him a smile. Tanjirou saw some tears threatening to fall from their eyes but he was quick to erase them.

"I missed you too Y/N." Tanjirou give them a beautiful smile. And Y/N knew just with that smile that Tanjirou missed them just the same.

After hugging for a few minutes more. The couple stood up from the floor. Y/N went to finish the food while Tanjirou went to the room to change her clothes. Coming back he found Y/N smiling at him with a finished plate on the table.

"I made your favorite!" they went to take his hand and lead him to the chair so he could start eating. Without previous warning, Y/N made their way between Tanjirou and the table and sat on his legs. Hugging him from the neck to prevent a possible fall. "Did you like it?"

Tanjirou didn't care about them sitting on his lap. Instead, he gave them a warm smile. "I loved it. Thank you."

Putting his forehead together with Y/N, he close his eyes and a few second later, his lips met with the ones he missed so much.

With the lack of oxygen, the two separate themself. Tanjirou wasn't as tired as before since Y/N knee how to cheer him up with their energy.

"I love you Tanjirou. I've missed you so much."

"I love you too Y/N. I love you so much. Thank you for always waiting for me."

“ You are my home”

“ tanjiro! Slow down please!” A child like voice whined out as pants could be heard when the fluffy haired boy came to a stop, turning around to look at his best friend behind him. “ you run too fast! I can’t keep up!” They whined, trying to catch their breath while tanjiro didn’t show an ounce of sweat or wear to him. “ how are you not tired?” “ I dunno, I just enjoy being out all the time. I do this every day! Traveling up and down the mountains with papa and mama helps a lot.” Hearing the voice of his mother up the hill call out for him and his friend to hurry on inside with the sun setting caused him to hurriedly take their hand and place them on his back. “ t-tanjiro! I can walk just fine!” “ I know, but we gotta hurry inside, I know your scared of the dark so I don’t want you out here when it gets dark. Your light anyway, you and Nezuko fit on my back perfectly!” Seeing you blush a bit made him blush as well, a small giggle leaving him. “ hang on tight, I’m gonna go fast!” “ ok!” And just like the boy said, he went racing up the mountain towards his home, without worry or a care in the world.

After that, you had left him and his family. Your family had moved away without telling him, and he felt broken without you. Who wouldn’t when it was your best friend leaving without a word to be said or at least a note, letter, SOMETHING! His parents never spoke of the reason why you left, simply saying ‘ they thought it best to see what else was out there,’ but he didn’t believe that tale for a minute. He knew you wouldn’t just up and leave for no reason, to see the world as they said, there had to be something else, some deep meaning to why you left that they refused to tell him. Even so he nodded his head and let it be left on that reasoning, until his family had been killed by a demon. After that, he knew deep down the reason you left had to be something had happened concerning some kind of demon. It was kami’s grace that the two of you found each other again, him a demon slayer and you a medic for the pillars. At first he didn’t recognize your face, but the smell, he remembered all too clearly.

The scent of honey with fresh laundry and a hint of cinnamon, he wondered if you had cooked recently, but he knew for a fact it was you. And you remembered him, you couldn’t forget that cute fluffy reddish black hair with that scar on his big forehead, not to mention the earrings he wore, you remembered those belonged to his father. Seeing each other again was a moment of shock and happiness. You never thought you’d see each other again, but there you all were, running and jumping into each other’s arms, crying and laughing about how much you missed one another and to never leave each other’s side again.

That was in the past, and now, here you were patching Tanjiro up for the hundredth time that week. The boy certainly doesn’t know the phrase “take it easy” and even if he did, he certainly didn’t abide by it. You were wondering how long it would be before you’d have to stop at another town to regather supplies for him and the others. Zenitsu and Inosuke weren’t any better either at keeping out of harm’s way, but that’s why the pillars appointed you to joining them on their adventures. “ there, all done.” Placing the last stitch through his skin, you quickly placed ointment on him and bandaged him up. “ arigato,” tanjiro give you a smile before waving his arm around, already feeling great after you patched him up. “ you know you truly are something else Tanji-san.” “ oh, thanks!” He thought it a compliment but it was more so a worried statement. “ it wasn’t a compliment! I know your a hard worker and wanna be helping others out but do me and yourself a favor and help yourself out by relaxing ya?”

The boy shrunk beneath his friends words, understanding where they were coming from and feeling bad for each time they had to patch him up for being reckless, but it came with being a demon slayer after all. “ what about zenitsu and Inosuke?” “ what about them?” You questioned as the boy looked around. They weren’t anywhere to be seen and you all were currently sitting outside of a hotel building in a busy town. “ don’t you think we should go looking for them? It’s so busy around her I’m afraid they’ll get lost...” “ they’ll be fine, I asked them to go pick some more medical supplies up for me before we leave tomorrow morning. Anyways, if they get lost I’m sure it won’t be hard to find them.” Helping him up and inside the hotel, they headed to the back where their room was, Seeing Nezuko was out and about looking out the window at the bright city lights that flashed every few seconds.

“ don’t forget to not sleep on it. If you do it’ll put pressure on your wound and you can reopen the stitches.” “ right!” “ also, make sure zenitsu puts a bit more ointment on you before you go to sleep!” “ right!” “ And-“ it was like a mother talking to her baby, but sometimes that’s just how yours and Tanjiro’s relationship was. Tanjiro was a kind and gentle boy, but jeez did he have a thick head, but you knew it wasn’t out of spite but more so carelessness and forgetfulness. He was truly a kind soul and everyone deserved a person like him in their lives. “ ok, don’t forget any of what I just told you.” Seeing him nod with small flowers float around him, you couldn’t help but sigh in defeat. He was way too cute for his own good, and you hated it. “ Nezuko, make sure your brother doesn’t do anything reckless tonight, ok?” Seeing her also nod with flowers floating around her, there was no doubt these two were indeed siblings. Both too good and too precious for this evil world.

“ even though you say you understand I don’t trust you...” you mumbled, bending down to set up Tanjiro’s bed for him, “ Ne, ne, you don’t need to do all that, I can do it!” Slapping his hand away, you pointed at him harshly as he stepped away while sweating. “ Gomen...” Watching you finish making the bed for him and grabbing his night clothes from the closet, you began helping him undress as he became frantic. “ I can dress myself ya know!” “ I know you can but, just... let... me..” Nezuko stood by and watched as the two of you became tangeled in each other’s limbs, falling down and hitting the floor roughly, Tanjiro under you as you gasped. “ tanjiro! Are you alright!” Sitting up, he looked up at you with a small blush on his face, your face just inches away from his. “ I-I’m fine.... are you alright?” “ yes, I’m alright... what did I just tell you huh? You could have hurt yourself again.” “ that’s fine, as long as you don’t get hurt.”

Your face flushed as he smiled up at you with his face bursting into red himself. Rolling off of him, you laid beside him as the two of you stayed quiet and just relished in the quiet of the night, the sounds of people outside and the city wavering in and out. You looked over when Nezuko laid down and scooted herself on the other side of Tanjiro. Yea, she was extremely cute. “ Tanjiro.... you really need to start being more careful. There are some injuries I just can’t fix.” “ I know.” “ And I don’t know what I’d do if you got seriously hurt.” “ I know.” “ Do you know tanjiro?” You glanced over to him as he looked up at the ceiling, nodding slowly. “ yea, cause... I would feel the same way about you if I was in your position.... even now I worry about you traveling with us.” “ how come? I can easily handle myself you know.”

It stayed silent for a moment, Nezuko shuffling around on the floor around them as Tanjiro thought about what to say. “ because, you and Nezuko... are my home.” Your eyes widened as your processed that, turning on your side to look at tanjiro. “ you and Nezuko are my everything. You all remind me of home, so when you all are around, I feel content and that nothing bad could happen, just like in our younger years. All I can do is feel happy and just cherish the memories we make with every passing second.” He smiled softly, his earrings ringing softly as he turned to look at you, placing himself on his side. Looking you in the eyes, he gently placed his head against your own, snuggling against you. “ without you, I’m never home. You are my home, my place I wanna be forever.” You couldn’t help but feel a burst of love flow through you, snuggling back against him and thanking him for his love and kindness. “ same goes for me, promise you’ll never leave ya?” Feeling him nod they couldn’t be more happy. “ ya, promise.”

Tanjirou Kamado

This relationship dynamic is absolutely adorable. Sunshine boi with goofy girl.

You never fail to cheer him up! And your probably a huge reason why hes always looking on the brighter side of things.

Hes kinda oblivious, so having someone as woke as you amazes him. Like, tell him more about whatever theories or facts you know and stuff your interested in because this boy is uneducated.

Dry jokes are his favorite, dont tell him smart jokes because you'll have to explain it to him and that kills the joke.

It's just so wholesome seeing you two together, it always warms the pillars hearts (minus sanemi and Iguro, because Sanemi is disgusted and Iguro is lowkey jealous)

However, when you have a serious moment is when everybody, including the pillars know not to mess with you

Today had been a tough day, but Mitsuri was kind enough to make your group a batch of sweets.

Everyone was laughing,but Zenitsu seemed lost in thought.

Zenitsu never understood you, or more so, your sense of humor. sometimes you'd makes jokes, sometimes you'd act smart, but what really bothers him is how Inosuke and Tanjirou react to your "Wisdom".

"If you look really closely, all mirrors look like eyeballs"

Inosuke gasped while Tanjirou nodded along while clapping.

"Woah, that's amazing."

"What the heck is a mirror?"

"I'll show you one later, Inosuke"

There was never a dull moment when it came to your group. Infact, Iguro had told yous to shut up multiple times because of the groups chaotic energy.

You were the person who brought joy into your group,never once has Tanjirou thought of you as annoying, and whoever does is clearly as dull and plain as a brick in the wall.

Tanjirou always listens closely when you speak, and laughs the loudest when you make jokes.

"Hey,hey! Let's see who can make Igura-san laugh first!"

You gasped as Tanjirou smiled, Inosuke wanting to join but Zenitsu valuing his life and decided to hide instead.

Tanjirou spoke up, questioning you

"What about Iguro-san's Mask?"

Everybody though for a moment. Who else was challenging enough for this certain task.

"We dont have to see him smile, just make him laugh,because I'm not to...well acquainted with Sanemi-San..."

"Then its decided, the first to make Iguro laugh wins."

Inosuke cut you off before you could finish

"Hey,hey! Tge person who wins! Can have the last of Misturi's sweets!"

Realization had struck the group as all hands hovered above the almost empty platter, dread visible on everyone's faces, the same thought passing through the group as the last sweet remained.

Hey there! May I ask for the Kamaboko gang (the main 4) with their s/o who is also a demon hunter and unable to feel pain, you know like they don't even notice minor or major injuries/wounds/burns on their body because they can't feel pain :)

Of course you can! ＼(★^∀^★)／ Thank you so much for requesting this, i had fun writing this scenario for the Kamaboko gang plus it was really interesting to learn about the condition which means you can’t feel pain (which is called CIPA if your interested!) which i tried to include as much info as i could in! I hope that i’ve done your request justice and that you enjoy!! ^^

The Kamaboko Gang with an S/O that can’t feel pain

Tanjiro kamado:         

It took him a lot longer than he would have liked to click on about your condition/disorder. Tanjiro had noticed the scars (who couldn’t when they were so boldly etched into your skin?) and the scent of blood that always seemed to follow you, but he only realised that the smell of blood was your own at the same time he found out about your condition.

 When he manged to click on, tanjiro felt an immense sense of guilt for not knowing or trying to find out sooner·        

 Goes out of his way to try and find out about your condition but becomes quite disheartened when there isn’t really anything to help you with it  (he’d gone to Tamayo and then to shinobu to learn about it and to see if there was anything he could do to help) but he keeps an extra eye on you just in case·        

 Quickly noticed that while you don’t feel pain you do feel it when he squeeze’s your hands or kisses you – the light pressure of him is something you can feel so a lot of affection takes place·         

A constant state of mild panic when you just throw yourself into battle – and sometimes even out of it and going about your daily life’s although you were quite careful with yourself…..sometimes·         

Mother Hen x 10·         

Tanjiro now always carries a medical kit with him for when you injury yourself·         

Has to use his sense of smell to see whether or not your injury is serious or not·         

Now always carries some sort of food around because you don’t feel pain that also extends towards hunger pains, so you have once or twice before collapsed from hunger because you hadn’t been eating – there wasn’t any particular reason for not eating, you’d just forgotten about it since eating can sometimes just feel a little unnecessary??·         

It doesn’t help that your so unbothered about your injuries either, like the pain’s never been there to begin with but you just act so nonchalantly about them – “Oh…. it seems I’m bleeding again; Where’s it coming from? Oh wait, my side! Looks like I got cut by that demon afterall! I really do need to be more careful….” Que a panicked Tanjiro already with his medical kit out·         

But he loves you with all his heart and he wouldn’t change anything 

Nezuko kamado:

Fiercely protective. Much like she is with tanjiro you get the same type of treatment.

She could tell straight away that something just wasn’t right. You’d continue to fight no matter how bad your injury, making said injury worse and then not even flinching when getting it sorted out – you hadn’t even noticed when stepping bare footed in broken glass, simply waving off the horrified gasps and apologies once it  had been mentioned before walking away to get it sorted out

Your body was far more scarred than any other demon slayer (except for sanemi); burns, bruises and scars just permanently discoloured your skin and that upsets Nezuko

Mother hen x20

Now carries around medicine with her in the medicine box that tanjiro carries her in – Tanjiro doesn’t really question it; he’s just as worried about you as nezuko and feels abit better knowing that nezuko’s watching out for you, after all he doesn’t want his sisters partner to prematurely die

When its night-time and you both can actually spend some time together; nezuko will gently trace the shape of your scars because even though you can’t feel pain, you can feel the light pressure her nails leave behind – the same goes for her lips! Kissing and hugging is perfectly fine

 Nezuko will stay up until the crack of dawn watching you as you sleep to make sure you change positions because due to your lack of pain feeling you can’t tell when a position is becoming uncomfortable for your body which wears down your bones + joints – meaning your bones can become more fragile/brittle so will break a lot more easier during battle

As soon as your out in battle she’s out next to you, fighting to the best of her abilities to keep you and tanjiro from harm

 Glad to have you in her life. You’re so important to her that she’d gladly die for you if it meant you were safe

Zenitsu Agatsuma:

 Didn’t know that you couldn’t feel pain for ages

Felt absolute awe and admiration for you when you guys first met because of how well you held yourself in battle plus the number of scars on you clearly meant that you’d been through a lot and lived through it – also the fact that you never broke into a sweat while fighting left him absolutely speechless

Your determination in battle even though you were injured badly made him feel braver but over time made zenitsu concerned for you – You ended up injured far too often, whenever your bones clicked you’d never make a noise of contentment or even when your stomach growled you’d never pay attention to it etc. Even when the others mentioned it, you’d just smile serenely and thank them for the reminder; other than zenitsu, tanjiro also started to become concerned for you

Zenitsu only really started fearing for you once a wound of yours had accidently become infected and you hadn’t even noticed. It was only until Tanjiro had mentioned about a new sickly undertone to your scent no more than a day later that you’d actually bothered to check if you were injured – spoiler, you were injured. Badly. You had to be taken to the butterfly estate where you were luckily fixed and told off by shinobu for not taking care of yourself because you usually were very careful

After that incident zenitsu keeps more of an eye on you – and a lot more things start to make sense about you

He almost in a sense becomes more brave/confident, pushing himself more in battle to protect you – which helps push you both into a relationship after he chucks himself into a battle that leaves him injured

Anxious mother hen x15

Isn’t as worried about himself as he used to be, now all that worry is reserved for you – it’s like he’s trying to make up for not bothering to know sooner about your condition so you do have to remind him that you do love him and even though you can’t feel pain you can feel his kisses and when he holds your hands

 A new presence in his life that he must protect, worry and look after, but he loves it - you do the same to him and it still makes him blush – Zenitsu’s thankful for having you in his life, you’re a refreshing breathe of air that just keeps him on his toes

Inosuke Hashibira:

 Noticed your presence and strength before anything else – Your presence actually caused the hairs on the nape of his neck to stand up and he didn’t like that, at all because he couldn’t place his finger on why - even after your first meeting he’d request for fights

You were just so polite + kind and yet you had the strength and resilience of a boar – which just served to piss him off even more because you always showed that off in battles with demons and yet didn’t when fighting with him – no matter how strong he hit or swung his swords you never flinched

Thought your scars were cool and something that you should show off with more pride since you gained them in battle. Really didn’t think much about how you gained the scars; he was slightly worried about how ‘clumsy’ you seemed though, sometimes forgetting to eat or even pushing yourself in fights too much

It wasn’t until you broke + fractured your dominant hand and still continue to fight that his pride left him and an unspoken panic took its place, which quickly turned to anger at the fact you were still fighting while being so broken – it was one of the only time’s the group have seen Inosuke lose his shit over someone else’s health…..

Actually starts to pay even more close attention to you, the things that he thought were just you being a classic clumsy human was actually something that was quite hazardous to your health

Doesn’t show it but he does feel guilty for not paying close attention to you and your condition

Starts to notice that your body temperature is a lot higher than a normal humans, once he asks out of curiosity and is really surprised to find out that you can’t sweat….”Hm? why I have a high tempe-Ahhhhhhh yeah I can’t sweat Inosuke, it comes with the whole not being able to feel pain thing” – Que both worried and impressed looks from literally everyone in the group because there’s always the chance that you overheat and then collapse

Pretending not to care as much as he actually does, worried boar man x10

Goes out of his way to forage food for you to eat because he knows that you sometimes forget – mostly fruits or just anything that has a lot of sugar to keep your energy up

 Learns basic medical knowledge to help you for when you injury yourself – even though you do know how to patch yourself up, but it makes inosuke happy (just make sure to praise him for his help)
