I've been so busy of the past few days I've not had chance to upload anything! Finally managed to beat that migraine into submission so I can get on with something productive! Like making gemstones! And antlers! And spray painting!! . I've been jumping between jobs to keep the migraines at bay, but I feel like I've got a decent amount if work done this way too. I defined the colours more on the painted antlers, hopefully I'll be able to add some bubbles tonight :) . I also started work on the precious gemstones I want growing out if my stone weapons that I'm working on, I'm thinking maybe Obsidian and Lapis Lazuli, that way I won't be fighting to make an opaque object look translucent. I opted to use the Terraflex from @tandyleatheruk for these and Holy moly has it made the job easy!!! I hardly even need to touch the seams with a sander! They just blend so well!!! I'll admit the stuff is expensive but so worth it!!! . The weather finally calmed down enough to sand down at least my commission pair of antlers and I'm currently working through getting the Worbla on, it's hard work to get everything smooth on the seams but I'm getting there, I'd use the Terraflex but it would jump the price of these so much :( . 2 down 8 to go :) Can anyone guess yet?? Decided to use some of the TerraFlex I got from @tandyleatheruk and so far it's AMAZING! I was a little unsure at first because it didn't seem as unforgiving as Worbla but it blends so smoothly into itself it's like magic! You can still see the seams but you can hardly feel them, and it takes little to no work to smooth them out.
