Fallout: Aradesh

Aradesh was responsible for forming the New California Republic, changing Shady Sands' name to the former in 2186 and forming a trial council government, before being voted in existence in 2189.

Just as Tandi Intended

I own an Service Rifle for home defense since that's what President Tandi intended. Four fiends break into my house. "What the Dharma!?!" I grab my trooper helmet and service rifle and blow a thumb sized hole in the first fiend, he's dead on the spot. I draw my 9mm pistol and miss him entirely since it's 9mm, and hit the neighbor's mongrel. I have to resort to the anti-material rifle hidden at the top of the stairs loaded with explosive ammunition. "Tally ho!" The blast shreds two men in the blast and angers brahmin all over the street. I pull out the combat knife on my belt and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out while waiting for the Followers to arrive because knife wounds to the throat are impossible to stich up. Just as Tandi intended.

Really funny fact for me personally. The same voice actress that plays Penelope the Dragon in Barbie as Rapunzel voices Tandi in Fallout (1997)

Comment I added on Twitter: NCR is not a thing until Tandi is ~30 years old but I wanted to add a flag just to imply all things much better. Also I like to imagine that she dreamed of the Republic for a long long time before! That's why I depicted an old world flag scribbled on top.

I'm ngl so far I liked Fallout 1 better than 2 u_u I think it's because Fallout 2 has so much characters yet very few of them have talking heads so everyone just turned into a mush. Like, the characters are quadrupled but the amount of talking heads remained the same... I do like that there's no deadline in this game so my exploration is less stressful

Alien Roundup: Ori Family

Two former spaceship technicians who are now my most divorced couple. They are nerdy and chaotic and I love them. I also realized that they unintentionally resemble the Ridleys from Inside Job, so that has influenced some of their subsequent characterization.

Shel (She/Her): Technician turned sci-fi YA author who incorporates a lot of her scientific knowledge into her books. Outwardly calm and professional with a hidden wild side (likes clubbing and extreme sports but like...responsibly). Tash's BFF, she and Tandi tag along on Tash and Nash's international trips sometimes.

Geo (He/Him): Programmer, deadbeat dad, womanizer, conspiracy theorist. Legitimately a genius but with a terrible personality. Probably a mansplainer. Lives in Vyk's basement and programs the AI for her robots.

Tandi (Shel + Geo, She/They): STEM child and anime fan. Lives in the apartments with Shel, but is fairly independent and is usually off doing her own thing (or hanging out with Xulia and Kaz). Takes after her dad a lot even though she thinks he sucks. Is Tash and Nash's unofficial niece/Ciara and Xavi's unofficial cousin.
