With my lack of PC I’ve been grinding in Miitopia… and I felt like sharing some of who I assigned roles to! All tf, most holoform, some original humanformers designs by me, and one of my ocs who is just there :)

Well, if you were to ask Tandem their favourite colour, they would say white.

A shade, they know, on technicality, but they hope you'll make an allowance for it. It's so crisp... so beautiful... so... unique. Like untouched snow... an empty page... a blank canvas....

Nature surely speaks to them! It has all their life, and that does show through into their work! Poetry and writing... even their art as a child.

But as for a particular plant... perhaps the snowdrop flower.

It's white petals, stark against the green stalk. It's bowed head, almost as though it is in reverence to something greater. The sky, the sun, the rain... or perhaps in fear. Begging not to be picked, to be ripped from it's roots, from life, and growth.

Who knows! They're beautiful, aren't they? Maybe to Tandem, that's all that matters.

Tandem was created in the lab of a mech named Jumper, who was a scientist imprisoned on Garrison-9 during Overlord’s takeover. Jumper was a bit… smitten, with the blue tyrant, and was shocked and hurt when Overlord turned on him when he got bored of Jumper’s presence.

Jumper survived the attack, Overlord having just sent two lackeys after him instead of wasting his time on this half-bit rabbit. Jumper escaped Garrison-9, but vowed revenge on him- any way he could.

Jumper thought that the only being who could take Overlord down, was Overlord himself. So he started the Cloning Projects. Taking scraps of Overlord’s plating, and his spark frequency, Jumper tried time and time again to create a living replica he could control… to no avail. The spark always gave out under the stress of the powerful CNA… He failed. 557 times.

However, when he was able to acquire a 0.1% spark… his last chance…. He watched the spark flicker out under the stress, just like all the others before it. Distraught, angry, and hellbent on revenge, Jumper brought out his own electric cables, the jumper cords he so liked to use on his victims. He attached them to the specimen holder, and shocked it with all of his power, hoping beyond hope to re-ignite the spark and save his experiment.

It worked… only mostly. The sparkling took, and began to develop. It wasn’t until Jumper noticed the animalistic traits, so like his own, develop as well, that he realized what he’d done. He’d infused his own spark signature with Overlord’s, creating a horrific amalgamation of the two of them. Jumper was DISGUSTED with the creature, shunning it and subjecting it to painful procedures to try and replicate the half-success. Growing restless and even more angry as the days passed, and the sparkling grew larger, Jumper sought out Overlord himself, drawing him to his hidden laboratory. Overlord didn't give the mech a second glance, killing him and entering the lab to see what it held. He found the sparkling, #558, and read over Jumper's research. He had two options, kill it and ensure that it never succeeded in it's purpose, or... He set fire to the lab, walking out richer than he had entered. He raised #558, now named Tandem, as his own, and refused to explain where the sparkling had truly come from. Tandem grew up loved, and supported, taking to their new life like a moth to flame... as though they were made for it. In the later years, Tandem is, on the surface, a quiet, calculating mech. One with just as much venom and sadistic tendencies as their father, but they much prefer taking apart their victims mentally... and then physically. They sift through archives, document after document of restricted files, just to find out the best ways to hurt their victims. Everyone has something to hide. And Tandem *will* find it. They also have a love of literature, history and poetry alike. They love their father with all their spark, and only seek to do well in his optics. But the question still lingers at the back of their processor... Who are they? Where did they truly come from? And a voice in a deep, shadowy part of it, wonders if they weren't created in Overlord's image... for a darker purpose...

Drift and I have an AU (of the AU lol) where Tandem (non-flowerverse) is in a human form of their own and is Annie's childhood friend-turned-highschool sweetheart. There's a whole storyline where she (and Mel) ends up being an Autobot liaison and helps reform them, but that's a little too far into fowau's future to go into just yet <3
