Behold: An idea fresh off my Reddit account.
As someone who recently learned about the International Cures, I wanted to make a Cure Team that represents my homeland of Florida, and I call my idea the Inaka Musume Cures. The Inaka Musume Cures grew up listening to country music and have named their Cure egos and attacks after country music and things that originate from my homeland that I'm familiar with.
Ken - Gender: Male - Age: Unknown, young for his kind - Favorite Songs: Leap of Faith by Big & Rich
A red fairy who resembles Tsubasa's avian form. He came to Earth from a dimension where all manners of music flourished and sought a Cure Team that could help him defeat a group of demons that created the Blight of Silence, a corruption that brings an eerie silence and brainwashing upon whatever it covers and creates quiet monsters called Shizukana. Ken created the Musical Communes, vinyl record shaped cellular devices that give the Inaka Musume Cures their powers and act as a means of long distance communication. Ken was named after William Kenneth Alphin, also known as Big Kenny.
Maria Monta - Gender: Female - Age: 16 - Cure Ego: Cure Troy - Favorite Song: My Last Yeehaw by Cowboy Troy ft. Big & Rich
“Let the concert commence! I’m Cure Troy!”
A blue eyed and long haired blonde who wears the same kind of clothes Cowboy Troy himself likes to wear in peacetime. She's the daughter of a rice farmer whose family moved to Florida to widen their botanical scope. Maria co-owns a U-Pick field that specializes in strawberries, blueberries, and onions. As Cure Troy, Maria has access to a lasso and has proficiency in all forms of Martial Arts. Her signature move is the Precure Rollin' Dynamic, a move that amplifies her voice and turns it into a purifying shockwave.
Evelyn Longoria - Gender: Female - Age: 15 - Cure Ego: Cure Manta - Favorite Songs: Every Karaoke Track of Swing by Trace Adkins, Down and Out by Tantric
“Going with the flow like water! I’m Cure Manta!”
Evelyn Longoria is a hazel eyed redhead who likes to wear clothes of baseball themed persuasion. Her favorite team is the Tampa Bay Rays, and that led to her Cure Ego having water themed powers. She can manipulate water and ice and use them in baseball themed attacks. Her signature move is the Precure Aqua Screw; an nigh unpredictable ball of magic water that explodes into a torrent that’s about the size of the Precure Marble Screw's beam.
Anne Driskell - Gender: Female - Age: 16 - Cure Ego: Cure Hardee
“My shield for justice and honor forever! I’m Cure Hardee!”
Anne Driskell has orange eyes, hazel hair, yellow clothes, and is the fairest of face out of all of the Inaka Musume cures. Her Cure Ego, Cure Hardee, has a tortoise theme; her shell allows her to ward off all but the strongest offenses. Anne's prone to dimwittedness inside and outside of battle, but she's not to otherwise be underestimated. Her signature move is the Precure Artillery Shell Dynamic. It allows Cure Hardee to retreat into her shell and give it enough energy to create a small explosion of purifying light wherever she lands next.
Allies:
Ena Monta - Gender: Female - Age: 42 - Favorite Song: Bagutte Iijan by HKT48
Maria's twin mother, Ena, is the analogue to Sanae Yukishiro; she figured out that Maria was a Cure through careful observation, but she didn't tell her that she knew, as she believed that she wasn't supposed to and that Maria would worry if she knew that she knew. Ken wasn't any the wiser until Ena saw through his plush bird disguise and had a heart-to heart with him. The message of Ena’s favorite song is the definition of the very philosophies she lives by.
Kiki "Key Lime Pie" West - Gender: Female - Age: 19 - Favorite Song: Hot Potato by The Wiggles, any songs that are targeted toward youthful demographics.
Kiki is a Key Lime Pie themed children's musician with proficiency in the Banjo. She was Cerfeuil's apprentice in Cook Fighting, but she left for Ken's dimension after she told her that she felt that a career in music would be more to her liking. Kiki hasn't returned to the CooKingdom since, but she wants to.
Little Citrus the Key Lime Pie Recipepe - Gender: Female - Age: Unknown, young for a Recipepe - Favorite Song: Every song that Kiki likes
A Recipepe that represents Key Lime Pie stowed away in Kiki's backpack when she left the CooKingdom. When Kiki found out about her mischief, she began to treat her like a daughter and called her Little Citrus. Little Citrus is very curious, as she couldn't stop herself from exploring Faulkenburg when they first arrived there. She was disappointed to learn from Kiki that Recipepes were uncommon in Florida, but that doesn't stop her from looking for her own kind. Little Citrus has a closeted liking of the food she represents. Kiki’s oblivious to this despite Little Citrus’s attempts at telling her. Little Citrus is the secondary mascot of the Inaka Musume Cures.

Backstory: Born to a reformed criminal turned lawyer, Emilio grew up in Tampa, Florida, and was raised by his father, Enrique, who served in the state attorney office of the city. Emilio didn't care for much as his father provided all he needed but never allowed his son to have anything without fulfilling some promise or obligation. An effective method to prevent his son from becoming a spoiled brat, Enrique enrolled the young boy in multiple martial arts schools to help him develop discipline and mental fortitude especially given that he could potentially become a target because of his father's past.
During hurricane season when he was seven, Emilio saw three women from his window in the middle of the bay. They appeared to be arguing as the hurricane became more violent so did the body language of those women. To his surprise, they all pointed in his direction and he ran to his father as he was in the middle of going over a case. Comforting his son, Enrique assured Emilio he was safe and that his eyes were playing tricks on him. Eventually, the young boy would peer into the veil that was the Mist and question what happened during that storm and why one of the women stared at him with a mix of pain, contempt, and something else...

Castle 6x21 law and boarder
the skateboard episode liveblog
Foggy Skateboard motorized bike Love a good chase scene, u'd never be able to run away on board tho. Construction work? wet concrete or smth?
Castle totally would have gone through every permutation. (there is only one combination.) If you brag like that I wouldn't care if you lose Alexis & beckett <3 (someone already giffed) Caslt mr word man would NOT lose to beckett tho, unless he just got really unlucky with his words.
Becks is so pretty! (I miss s1 beckett tho) RC: Sounds like a scene from an action movie. JE: Yeah. I know. Especially when the biker started shooting and Logan crashed through that window right there. Wow cool casts. He's a young man, 2-4am he'd totally be out that late.
Always a sus key, why around the neck tho? KANIE LOVE KANIE LOVE KANIE LOVE I LOVE THE GIRLS girling out for a sec there & I'm so happy. Oh. I forgot that this episode was the one with ryan & esposito fighting like that... Actually since watching this ep, my fam was in a situation like that. My older (trans) brother is my dad's best man. Esp since dad's last best man was probably hella catholic & hates dad now for leaving his wife. which valid.
"Congratulations lanie" Thanks! Also idk who castle picked I'm not a boy! You really think it's one of you two? rysposito argument. he HAS spent every day lol KR: Oh Javi, I’m the obvious choice. If you can’t see it I can’t explain it to you.
Cool wall at her place! Ah tsa crap. Ooh skateboard tools! No wonder tsa would hate him. I know ppl who went to china for martial arts training (the sifu was some sort of ambassador & made good relations b/w canada & china) & came back with weapons. on the plane. Performance items, we called them.
Oof. I mean yeah that's like being a skaster for ya. (I should pic outfits. I like ryan.) Becks knows bikes! KB: Oh. A reigning champion unable to cope with defeat. (she looks to CASTLE with intent) That sounds familiar.
Wow a fight.
Wow cameras! I wonder who did the filming! She owned a motorcycle! Extremely handsome with a high degree of difficulty.
Like his hat & outfit. & austin. & tampa.
it looks like what it is what it looks like. (Yeah that's the definition of looking like smth) "omg life & death" ok shut up.
Wow early intro this time huh "My associate Mr. Castle"
"You hear about Logan's death or the break-in?"
Your GUN? Tony hawk my beloved. *looking up a pic of him bc idk what he looks like-- I can SORT OF picture him but idk if that's him. studying a photo of tony hawk every night before bed so I never become one of Those People.)
You remember the words exactly or are you paraphrasing?
Love the way castle walks with the coffee. Ooh castle is pretty! lol dark web moments THE-- THE ALBANIAN MOB? Albania is actually rly pretty.
lol esopsito OH RYAN'S FACE
mountain dew lol. Wow another semi-cool hat. Bummed? Look at this party. Ross De Koning: The albanian killed him? RC: what albanian? Me, speaking as RDK: you know, the albanian guy who yelled at him or w/e happened, isn't that why you're asking about the mob? Why else would you find a link to albanian organized crime?
Oh wait no it was 5 or 6 years ago. My man sent this guy to prison... the mom got seven years? enver who theoretically got the mom into it got less time? ugh.
Ooh lighting in this room, nice wood looking good... Found the Lord! I like it. You were willing to pay it? really? Get momma released early? That's kind of him! I like Enver!
RYAN GAVE HIM THE RECIPE? SECRET FAMILY RECIPE!?!? (even jenny's lol) Awkward pat on the back. Could clip, esp that facial expression. (but if I did i'd also clip ryan's face when esposito walked away after giving the novelty pen.)
Skateboarding with a heavy thing? Poor guy. I remember cycling to school with my backpack, lunchbag, zipper binder, & violin all on my back. Yeah. yeah...
Won't clip castle's eyebrows. Beckett totally let him win. Ooh it's a turntable of a scrabble game. Ah quixotic, idealistic to the point of unrealistic. Hm, they played an entire game of this, set design & writers, I wonder if it is legit.
I love the mythical Bill. They always say goodbye to Bill on the phone. I want Bill fanart. & by one of us I mean you. Ah true, bachelor party planning would probably be better by esposito. Ah true, Ryan is the high moral standing-- WAIT HE JUST CALLED HIMSELF PRETTIER XD "Did she beat you at scrabble again?" "is stephen king winning at texas hold em again?" "did somebody find naked pictures of you again?" (well the 2nd wasn't ryan but) JE: *pat pat* KB: ?
Wait I never grabbed an outfit pic! Noooo! Too late lol. Nice outfit today too but I think I've seen him wear it before & got a pic. Like how there was beckett's purple shirt that I saw in my clips when I was thinking about snapping a pic of it this ep-- turns out I got the shirt in a different ep already!
Ooh rock wall! I love climbing! Ooh maybe I should snap caskett's outfits. Oh. Good gravy. Lol there are easier ways to break in than lockpicks. Why go through the lock when you can just go through the door?
hi8? never heard of that. Hey becks is back to wearing that wierd beige thing...
That is why you never wear logos on your clothes.
Ah motorcross rider!
My man has adhd, motorcross performer? up in the middle of the night? jittering like that? yeah.
Ryan brought him a coffee sdjfoijsjjfkjlsdkjf *interrupts before castle can drink* *again* *almost again* *literally backs away* should I clip? no
that's where the 3k was from! He stayed inside? Why not escape with him? I mean yeah ask for a cut bro! *literally was criminaling right then*
Bacon brownies! "you had me at bacon" that was one of the last words he said bro. *lookingn ryan up & down like "you cockblocker" minus the cock* (actually new fic idea: ryan & esposito are trying to seduce Castle, & then at the end castle says "actually, I choose BECKETT!!" & the boys are like "well crap." & maybe it ends with "well now I have all this stuff for seducing men, whatever will I do with it?" & possibly *trying to impress eachother all along*) Ooh I can see names: sullivan-- WAIT SULLY'S STILL HERE! --& messer or w/e that one says (I saw it last ep too)
*cockblocking*
RC: Have you noticed anything odd about Me: ryan & esposito, yeah RC: ebosito & ryan Me: WHOM
OOoh love her hair! (Weird-nice. just sorry for you bc I beat you at scrabble.) My man looks like a baby. Or not I take it back.
HOO! I love ryan with a waistcoat that ties a bit tight on the lower back-- Mm! I'm gay but I'd be a lesbian for this man! (my 3d gender chess makes sense to me. except I suck at chess. I should post that.)
IDK TO CLIP BUT OH MY GOSH THIS. SCREAMING SCREAMING SCREAMING. CAN'T SAY WORDS. TOO MUCH TOO GOOD
when they were looking around I totally thought that they were going to suggest a dead body. bc then it is a third person not them & also it's funny bc homicide detectives. but No Way.
Poor gal, her son is dead... Ah yes, the good old days. Neighbourhood stuff. Six years-- didn't we hear that? Oh wait it was 5 or 6 years ago that ever want to jail
It's that neighbourhood? of course they don't care abt the death of the 12yo. Love a good old camcorder cassette. CSU would have noticed that
6 seconds is a lot! Toory unrealistic tech magic moments. makes my baby bro mad.
Why NOW? why running out of time?
Tommy Fulton: *immediately assumes they are accusing him of murder*
What plan? Brett Zaretsky: You can’t kick me out of here. This man’s my client. TF: Youre fired.
Cute, skateboard video! Love it! lol me & my brothers. Little bro rly good, better than me, I feel like crap. At least little bro isn't loud about it. Oh heck you watched the murder!? Holy crap! & that's why the cam was on the ground, u dropped it as soon as u saw the attack to go help.
was this in present time? WAIT THIS WAS BACK THEN? WHAT KID IN A BAD NEIGHBOURHOOD HAD 5 MIL TO SPARE LIKE A DROP IN THE BUCKET? oh at least it was smth he didn't actually have As A Kid.
DK logo! De Koning! I like how in the back some ppl were still partying for a minute there.
Brah
RC: And to think all of this happened because Ross couldn’t bear being second best. (pause) So. Are you ready for another rematch?
Man-chat? After all ryan & esposito are basically one person. Best of both worlds RC: Um … guys, I’m, uh– flattered & honoured– KR: You’re welcome. JE: Yeah, you should be. RC: He chose alexis! alkjsdfhljksdfhsdjadfkjhhfdjeyb I am love love love love I am so happy. They look almost mad in their shock (just like my brother. dad's best man. except he's not a girl. tho he is trans so idk.)
KR: I did not see that coming. JE: I can’t believe I gave him my pen. KR: I can’t believe I shared our family’s secret recipe. JE: I can’t believe we just got beat by a girl. KR holds out a finger. KR: Let’s never speak of this again. JE: Speak of what? (won't clip)
A midnight sing-along of Grease? a What?
Why did you do that?
Oh yeah they used to play poker, I remember when the captain & everyone was at his place & then they caught a murder late at night... Yeah that was fun.
Ooh heheh, look at these two. Love them sm She has a bra AND a watch left!
Could you play strip scrabble?
that was fun

He threw greater than 30 punches within the first spherical, when put next with fewer than 10 in August. Within the 3rd spherical, he by chance elbowed Paul within the brow, opening a deep gash above Paul’s proper eye that bled for many of the combat. With lower than a minute left within the 6th spherical, Woodley looked as if it would decrease his left hand ahead of Paul nailed him at the aspect of his head.Later on, Woodley stated he didn't know why he dropped his hand.“From time to time I simply felt like I used to be too aggravating,” he stated later on, “and I can have dropped them simply to respire and calm down.”Paul, who has now not confronted a boxer in his quick profession, referred to as out Fury again and again within the time main as much as this weekend’s combat and once more later on, telling journalists that Fury was once “fortunate he wasn’t in there this night.”His assured remarks persevered right through his information convention after the combat, the place he emphasised his significance to the game.“Nobody within the historical past of boxing has carried out what I’ve carried out at this age,” Paul stated. However now not everybody was once satisfied.According to Paul’s be offering to stand him subsequent, Masvidal, who misplaced to Usman of their welterweight identify bout this yr, denounced Paul's proposition on social media.“I combat for cash or to combat the most productive on the earth — you’re neither,” Masvidal stated in an Instagram video. “I’ll inform you what. I wish I could trace down contacts of people I used to have martial arts classes with.. I didn't have a phone until I was 15 or 16 so I couldn't remember the numbers they gave me.. but one of them was named AJ and he was a couple grades older than me. He was really sweet and he'd give me rides home some days. Before I moved out of Tampa, he bought me my first Pokémon game because he knew how much my parents tried to isolate/shelter me. It was one of the nicest things anybody had done for me back then.. I really hope he's doing well wherever he is nowadays..

Why Martial Arts Classes for Adults Are Essential
Martial arts isn’t just for kids or competitive athletes—it's a practice that can benefit adults of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're looking to boost your physical health, improve mental clarity, or learn self-defense, martial arts classes for adults offer a unique and transformative experience. At The Martial Arts Leader in Florida, we help individuals unlock their full potential through expert training programs designed specifically for adults.
1. Improves Physical Fitness
Martial arts classes provide a full-body workout that helps build strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. Unlike traditional gym routines, martial arts combine dynamic movements, cardiovascular conditioning, and muscle toning, all within a fun and engaging setting. Whether you're practicing karate for adult beginners or engaging in martial arts training for adults, you'll notice improved fitness within weeks.
Regular practice also promotes better posture and coordination, which are essential for maintaining long-term health. You don’t need to be an athlete to start—whether you’re a beginner or returning to fitness, martial arts meets you where you are.
2. Mental Clarity and Stress Relief
In today’s fast-paced world, stress can take a toll on our mental well-being. Martial arts training helps manage stress by promoting mindfulness, concentration, and mental resilience. When you focus on mastering techniques, such as in gentle art dojo Florida styles, you clear your mind from everyday distractions.
This focused training enhances your mental clarity, sharpens your cognitive abilities, and offers a productive way to release tension. Many adults find martial arts to be a form of meditation in motion, giving them the mental break they need from their daily responsibilities.
3. Self-Defense Skills
Learning to protect yourself is a powerful skill, especially as personal safety becomes an increasing concern. Martial arts classes for adults teach effective self-defense techniques, which can be critical in real-life situations. At The Martial Arts Leader, our instructors focus on practical self-defense skills that can help you feel confident in any situation.
For adults living in or near Florida, these self-defense classes are particularly valuable for developing the confidence and readiness to handle potential threats.
4. Discipline and Confidence
Martial arts require dedication, discipline, and focus, which can extend beyond the mat and into other aspects of your life. As you progress through your martial arts journey, you'll notice increased self-confidence. Whether you're mastering a new technique or advancing to the next belt level, each accomplishment brings a sense of achievement that boosts self-esteem.
Martial arts are particularly empowering for those who want to cultivate discipline, motivation, and personal growth. It’s not just about physical strength—it’s about fostering a strong mindset.

Today we have a true wildman, maverick of low budget film Joel D Wynkoop. Let's get in the mindset of an actor, an actor's actor. An American Brian Blessed without the beard you could say (imagine Joe D Wynkoop as Hawkman and let that sink in) . To you regulars here at Riot at the movies you will remember Joel from 2019s Terrible Two Day fest where he closed the weekends events by appearing in Clownado as the cowboy pilot. Then just before screenings shut down in the first week for March 2020 we saw him again in the first film of this year Terrible Two Day Fest with a small but high energy cameo at the very end of Dinogore.
Let's pretend we are a live audience talk show and give a round of applause for Joel D Wynkoop.
Riot: Joel you are known as a high energy guy, what do you think or even what do you hope are people's first impressions of you?
WYNKOOP: Well I hope they like my performances. There are some that just flat out say "He yells too much!" I even had an actress tell me "Stop yelling at me, you're always yelling at me" but what she didn't get is that was the idea in the movie, the Sheriff(Played by me was yelling) but she got her feelings hurt and asked me not to yell at her. "But....I'm supposed too." I told her...anyway the director pulled her aside and explained to her "...this is not real life and we were pretending" and she still didn't get it, so the director told me "don't yell at her too much." Aside from the yelling and the out of control antics of a lot of my characters, I also want to be known as the actor that can do serious stuff too. I have done parts that when they were done or in the middle of where the audience was crying because I was going for that emotional touch. I have done things that scare the audience, not to mention my co stars. My wife, before I knew her, we had just met and we did a very emotional scene when I was in her face yelling at her, later the director said to her "You were great you really looked scared." and she said "I was scared, he is a scary guy when he yells... I thought he was going to hit me." But I can also do comedy where people may say "Man Wynkoop was so funny in that" or "Mannnn Wynkoop was so annoying in that" in each case that is what I was going for. In my latest movie "THE CRAIGLON INCIDENT" I think people are going to say the latter because the character I do is annoying....but funny...I hope. If they don't like me right away or there's someone out there going "Wynkoop sucks, his movie's suck" I hope people make their own decisions if they like me or not.
Riot: Let's look back at your early break into low budget films. Which character do you relate to the most, Steve Nekoda the religious, confused martial arts man of action from Lost Faith or do you deep down feel a little more fucked up like Dan Hess from Wicked Games or maybe even worse the officer in Dirty Cop No Donut? Or is that just crazy ? If you don't feel you personally relate to them, who was your favorite character to play?
WYNKOOP: Just doing Steve Nekoda, Dan Hess or Gus Kimble I think I am a little of all of them in real life. One time... well more then once in my life...real life...I have had to step in and protect someone like Steve Nekoda would, other times I have been the smart ass like Gus Kimble and his brand of justice where I have said things like (When someone is too close to me, I mean right on my ass) I turn to them and say "Are you gonna propose?" and they say "No" then I say "Then get off my ass!" More than once I have stood up for somebody... one time I told two guys to leave the premises because the girl inside the store was scared of them. The one guy then said to me. "You got a problem with me?" I said "No, I don't have a problem with you, but you're gonna have a problem with me if you don't leave now!" He started to move towards me. I went into a striking stance and his buddy grabbed him and said "Let's go man." and they left. The cops told me later "Don't be the hero just call us next time, we have guns." Dan Hess pushed in his Truth or Dare world, is me when I get annoyed in traffic. Someone cut me off I exploded in rage, he saw me in his mirror cursing him, he stopped his car and jumped out and came after me, I jumped out of my car and yelled at the top of my lungs "Don't FUCK with me man!!" He got back in his car and left and I did the same. Hey, I'm not perfect!
Again Steve Nekoda. I am a Christian yes, I swear, I'm sorry, were all human. I will stop and pray with someone at the drop of a hat. I have ran charity events for people struggling with medical bills. I will offer you some money if they are hard up...not scammers! So I guess I am a little of all of my characters. Nick Hazzard, Dan Hess, Steve Nekoda, Parsons Cooper, Angus Lynch, Tie-Ree, Cope Ransom and a lot more. Favorite character? I think all of them. I loved Steve Nekoda cause he is like a superhero, Parsons Cooper is turned into a sci-fi superhero. Dan Hess is fun because he is an average guy with a messed up life. Angus Lynch was fun to play because he was just psycho! Same with Gus Kimble from the Dirty Cop movies. They are all fun to play, I just can't lock one particular one down. They're all fun...CLOWNADO? I loved playing that character "HAWK" for Todd Sheets!! It was a fun role to play and Todd really let me run with it. Little easter eggs too in one line almost under my breath you here my character HAWK say "I'm just about to watch a Todd Sheets Joel Wynkoop double feature, those guys kill me." Yeah I love them all!
Riot: I am honestly imagining you doing a remake of Falling Down (the Micheal Douglas movie) just so I can see you super red faced getting angry in your car and flipping out at the traffic. You have like a dozen, if not more projects on the go at any time. How's Covid treating you? Are you going stir crazy or getting some stuff done on the side? I hope the conventions come back and people can get copies of all these movies as well.
WYNKOOP: Covid? We are dealing with it. If the law, Government or whatever wants you to wear masks just wear the mask. It's not that big a deal. Yes it annoys me but I wear it because it is the law and you're keeping people and yourself safe. You know what? I knew a guy that was a nudist and he told me "Joe, I don't know why we have to wear these, these clothes, I should be able to walk around unencumbered and free, there's nothing wrong with my body, I should be allowed to walk around nude, go into the store, go to the movies, I feel like I am being persecuted against because I cannot be free and naked." Well guess what? That is what everyone is saying about wearing their masks...are you comfortable with people walking around naked in your grocery store, pet store, church, movie theater, everywhere you go? I'm not. I think if we are told to wear masks then wear them. It's "NOT" being sheep, you're being smart. If you don't believe in it... go up to a stranger and say (With your mask on) "Please hack up all over me because I don't believe in the Corona Virus... try and let spit come out of your mouth too cause I don't believe in it so I won't get it!" Then pull your mask down so you can inhale all that virus you think is "NOT" there. People say more people die from the flu then Corona? Really? Personally I don't know any of my friends that have died from the flu...BUT I Have had at least 10 friends die of the CoronaVirus in the last two months. As of writing this tonight I just found out two more of my friends caught the Corona Virus because they let someone in their home and now they have it. If you don't believe in it then you don't believe the Earth is round. Stir Crazy? Nah! If we need to get out it is because of the news. The world is really messed up now and it is all the same stories over and over again. The riots were terrible!!!!!! Anyway when it gets too much we go for a ride in the van. I just want to make movies. I can't change anything, I'm not magic. I'll just continue to make movies. Also I am editing my new movie now called THE CRAIGLON INCIDENT which never would have happened if it were NOT for the Corona Virus, I started this movie cause everyone was told to stay home, it was mandatory here! Curfew was enforced. So I asked my wife Cathy, "Hey just shoot me talking to the camera." Now spin it around so it looks like I am talking to myself as my counterpart and THAT is how The Craiglon Incident originated. It is now like two hours long in my timeline waiting to be completed. If there was no virus there would have been no CRAIGLON INCIDENT". But just editing the movie keeps me plenty busy! PLUS I ask people if they are interested in being a producer or executive producer of either or both my movies "THE CRAIGLON INCIDENT" or "BEAST MODE"(A movie we started with Debbie Rochon and Lloyd Kaufman but was shut down because of Covid) people can contact me and become producers and executive producers just by purchasing some of my movies...It's a great way to get some entertainment and build your IMDB!!!! Conventions YES!!! Me too. So many have been shut down at the last moment. We even had Tampa Bay Screams here that was slated in August but it has been moved to March 2021 and we don't even know if that will happen. Yes I miss it!! More than selling the flicks I like meeting everyone that comes to the shows. That's why I continue to do things on Facebook and make movies and sell online to keep my name out there so folks don't forget about me. I don't think I would be comfortable doing a show right now anyway, not the way things are. I have had two shoots lately, one a TV show and one a rap video and I was nervous the whole time hoping I didn't get anything from anyone. But yes it would be nice to get the world back to normal, well, not even normal... BETTER THAN NORMAL...hey that's a good name for a TV show..."Hey brother what are you doing next Wednesday night?" "Me, oh not much I'm gonna check out that new TV show...what's it called, oh yeah...BETTER THAN NORMAL".
Riot: Let this be a reminder to my regular Canadian viewers and readers of just how freaking lucky we are up here. I love America for many things but for my health situation I wouldn't trade places with you Joel for the world. Thanks for being so open with us. Ok, How do you feel your films have dated over the years? The projects you've done with Tim Ritter seem to have just as strong a twisted fan base as always if not more these days.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/da1cb60ba2bf4e30070ce9e866ca224f/9eb269626785d586-c7/s540x810/c47af2f41e29327dd6f85d43c374e791c9bc051d.jpg)
WYNKOOP: I think they hold up fine. You have to remember when Tim Ritter and I started there was no CGI in indie movies. It was all practical effects, if you wanted blood you made it and threw it on the actor you couldn't say "Hey put a blood splat there and make it look real with your CGI effects." Nothing wrong with CGI it is just we didn't have that then. Also editing wasn't on your home computer with Movie Maker and Premiere... (They didn't exist when Tim and I broke into this, in fact some places have credited Tim and I have been credited with the whole direct to video happening.)... it was rent an edit bay with big 3/4 machines and shuttle the tape back and forth... In the beginning for Tim and myself, Tim and I use to edit on cutting boards with splicing tape. You scratched your effects into the actual film. I remember putting "The Eight Million Dollar Boy Meets The Invisible Transport Boy" together, splicing it all together, it was an hourlong and it was hard to do that 50 feet at a time. But yeah a lot of people are like "Yeah I remember TRUTH OR DARE man that was cool!" Even Elijah Wood on all the late night shows was talking about how much he loved "TRUTH OR DARE"! "LOST FAITH" has got that same kind of attention, a lot of people really love it. BUT like all our movies... some hate them, some love them. I'll take the love over the hate... but you have to accept it all. Believe it or not I learned this philosophy from Marvel Team Up. Spiderman had just stopped the Basilik and was handing him over to the cops and Spidey said "Here you go officer, although I don't know why you would want him?" and the cop said "All part of the job wall crawler, you take the bad with the good." And that is how I take everything, especially reviews. You take the bad with the good. So yeah I think they hold up...I had a friend when STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION came out and he was like "Oh the original sucked the effects are much better in NEXT GENERATION" Well "No Duh" I told him... it's like 30 some years later but STAR TREK is still a classic show!! It still holds up today, the stories are great and I love the effects... yes the upgrades are awesome but always classic "Star Trek". There is always gonna be a better format... pretty soon movies will be like holograms and we'll be being punched in the face by the characters in the movies. Technology changes everything so you have to give them credit for the era they were made. The people that love Twisted Illusions movies and my movies are AWESOME. I divide the two because Tim and I have done alot together as Twisted Illusions and I in turn have done a lot under Wynkoop Productions and joined the two over the years. I am still a part of Twisted Illusions with Tim and he with me in Wynkoop Productions it is two small companies just trying to entertain people. We are BOTH very fortunate to have the nice people we do enjoying all of our movies and we will never forget that. I get Facebook requests all the time and I ask them "What made you want me as a friend?" and they 90% always say "I saw your movies in High School" or "I saw you in Truth Or Dare"or "I loved you in Dirty Cop No Donut" and they all say "What are you doing now?". In fact every time I think I am going to quit I get a Facebook from someone saying "I love your movies please don't stop making them." and I never will until GOD calls me home. Even then when I am gone, I hope people keep watching all my movies I have done with Tim and the ones I have done and the ones we have collaborated on. To the ones out there that watch our stuff I hope we are entertaining you because that is all we want to do, 'cause we sure arn't getting rich from it.

Joel Getting Tough in The Other Side
Riot: You do the whole package, acting, directing, producing. What makes low budget filmmaking still a passion for you and what are some of the things these days that frustrate you the most?
WYNKOOP: Frustrate me the most? Editing. I will have a whole scene in my timeline and the power goes out, I hit the wrong key and delete stuff, lightning hit the house and fries it, lightning turns out our power and I lose it. It freezes up as I am editing and I have to wait an hour for it to fix itself. When it says "SAVE" I hit no. I make mistakes when I am tired while I am editing and boom I do something wrong and it is gone and I have to start all over again. There have been problems when I was editing my TV show I was putting in the last minute touches and lost the whole thing and had to start over from the beginning again. Frustrating! I keep working at it no matter what. I like to act in all I can. When I don't have anything that is when I say it's time to make my own movie, although in this case of "THE CRAIGLON INCIDENT" it was because of Covid 19. I'd like to make more money at it but doesn't everyone?
So as you can tell I sneak more then one question in at a time and I'm glad you took the time to shoot the shit with us. I hope 2021 means we get to go crazy and make all the weirdest and wildest movies we all can think of and I look forward to seeing what you got to throw at us. Thanks again. Stay Awesome.

Also Check out Joel in Lycanimator made by our Ontario buddy Seb Godin (also of Dinogore), get the vhs horror boobs made for Wild Eye Releasing , its better then the dvd.
WYNKOOP: Thank you all for taking the time and showing some interest in this old guy!!!! It is appreciated, thank you to everyone on your staff and everyone reading this article... thank you all so much and to see what I am doing please seek me out on Facebook under Joel D. Wynkoop. Thank you!

A Perfect Day at LEGOLAND Florida with Kids
LEGOLAND® Florida trip report: making the most out of your time at the park.
Disclosure: we were hosted by LEGOLAND® Florida.
I spent a day at LEGOLAND® Florida with 3 of my kids ages (10, 7 and 6) during a recent Disney free trip to the Orlando area. We have traveled to Orlando and all of the Disney parks over fifteen times, as my parents live in the area. This trip was all about enjoying resort amenities and thus I was looking for something new to do with the kids. If your kids are Lego and/or Star Wars fans, you will have a blast. Managing expectations is very important when visiting this park. They are not Disney, nor do they attempt to be. This is actually what our family loved most about our trip to LEGOLAND® Florida . We've been to Disney World and Disney Land and have done that more times than we can count. We didn’t want to experience a copy of Disney, but with Lego instead of Disney characters.
We’re huge Lego fans and were looking to experience LEGOLAND® Florida. Having said that: do your research and plan accordingly, in order to make the most out of your time at this park. Spend time looking at the family guide and determining height requirements for each ride. This will save you from dealing with meltdowns at the park.
Location:
LEGOLAND® Florida is NOT located in Orlando. It’s actually just 45 minutes from the Orlando theme parks or downtown Tampa.
Address: One LEGOLAND Way Winter Haven, FL 33884

Trip Report:
We left our hotel in Orlando early on a Monday in February and arrived before opening time. Tip: Get there early and secure a close parking spot. If you have someone with mobility needs, pay for preferred covered parking. It will be worth it. Study the map online prior to your visit. I found the paper map to be a bit difficult to follow while in the hot Florida sun, so I was glad that we had spent time online looking at the layout of the park and planning our day.

Our kids loved the Ninjago ride (much better technology, graphics and execution than the Toy Story at Disney and with no wait time), my 10-year-old loved The Dragon and the lack of wait times at any of the rides. I loved the return on investment and the ability to see and ride everything in one day, stroller parking that is not a nightmare and the MINILAND, USA rocked. The food was actually affordable compared to Disney and they have coffee available throughout the park. They get that parents are their target audience and the park catered to families. We stopped by the LEGOLAND® Florida Hotel just to check it out for a future visit. It looks like a great place for families with young children and any Lego enthusiast. It’s perfectly themed with Legos everywhere and a nice change from the other Orlando amusement parks.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/71ece9f249ec607cd7e096f1c14dbbc1/tumblr_pn53usNAhz1v4nvu0_540.jpg)
LEGOLAND® Florida is comprised of 150 – acres offering a variety of themed lands that will be familiar to Lego fans. The park is geared toward children ages 2 – 12, but I can see my Lego loving teenager being impressed by the offerings. As kids who spend hours of their days building with bricks, they were extremely impressed with the time and energy that it would take to put together the creations throughout the park. Our kids absolutely loved their time at LEGOLAND® Florida . They are already asking for us to return and stay at the hotel, but to bring their dad and older sister next time. They are also eagerly anticipating the opening of LEGOLAND New York, which will be opening near us in the 2020. Is LEGOLAND® Florida a worthwhile endeavor while visiting the Orlando area? You must know your kid’s interest prior to making that call. For our bricks loving family, Legoland was a perfect way to spend a sunny Orlando day.
Feedback: our favorite LEGOLAND® Florida Park areas.
Miniland USA
- This themed area is comprised of miniature versions of destinations that our family has actually traveled to (ex. Daytona International Speedway, Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York City and Washington, DC) and I was very impressed. Our kids are also huge Star Wars fans and thus, we visited this “land” twice during our recent one-day trip.
Ninjago Land
- My two oldest kids are 2nd degree black belts, I’m a first degree black and the younger two are diligently working toward their black belts. We love all things Asian culture and martial arts and thus, Ninjago Land was our favorite. The Lego Ninjago ride is a 4D ride with a similar concept at Disney’s Toy Story, but with much better execution. We loved it.
The Dragon
- LEGOLAND® Florida is not known as a thrill ride destination, yet my 10-year-old was ecstatic to be able to ride a roller-coaster with virtually no line, nor a need for fast passes. Riders must be 40 inches tall to ride and some kids must ride with an adult.
MInifigure Trading
- Guests can purchase or bring LEGO® Minifigures to trade with LEGOLAND® employees throughout the park. Most employees wear at least one Minifigure on their brick badge (name tag) and are happy to trade.
Pin for later:
Pro tips:
- As aforementioned, I highly recommend that you arrive early. Not only will you score better parking, enjoy the opening of the park ceremony and make the most out of your day, but you’ll get through most of the park before the Florida sun wears you out.
- Check park hours prior to your visit, as they vary based on the time of year. Also, the water park was not open when we visited in February. So, if that is important to you, make sure to check their operating schedule prior to buying tickets.
- Check Groupon for discount offers.
- If you’re a homeschooler, check out their website for information on homeschool rates and dates. Click here for more details regarding securing homeschool rates prior to your visit. Homeschool rates are not given at the gate.
- Spend time online researching the park, reviewing the map and planning your day. I also recommend exploring the park counter clockwise starting at the carousel. Shhh, don’t tell other people this secret. Most folks will explore a park clockwise and thus by going in the opposite direction, we found that most rides had no lines.
- LEGOLAND® Florida offers affordable food options, but I paked a backpack with snacks and put filtered refillable water bottles in the stroller (make sure to use filtered water bottles, because Florida water tastes awful). Eating on the go allowed us to maximize our time at the park and enjoy all of the rides in one day.

Lodging:
- Just like Disney and Universal, LEGOLAND® Florida offers the option of staying onsite or nearby. We stayed at an offsite Orlando Resort for this trip, but am already planning a return trip to stay onsite. Lodging options include: The Legoland Resort which is located adjacent to the park and Legoland Beach Retreat which is a few blocks away and can be seen from the main road. In addition to restaurants, pools and perfectly themed Lego rooms, guests also get early access to the park. Be on the lookout for the LEGOLAND® PIRATE ISLAND HOTEL which is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2020.
Military Rates: U.S. Service Members receive FREE admission to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort & Water Park, no restrictions or blackout dates. This offer is not available online. To redeem this offer, please bring a valid military ID to any LEGOLAND Florida Resort ticket window.

Yager Bomber’s Blog
Yager Bombers’ Blog:
From our culture assignment our group learned how people from different nationalities function in different ways. Although we acknowledged that many of our moral and ethical principles are quite very similar and nearly identical. Since the different cultures we observed were all living in the united states we had felt it was not justified to make this assumption absolute at this time. We were drawn to the conclusion that if we were to conduct business with people or companies from these nationalities, mutual respect, honesty and fair dealing would be the best approach. They are attributes that we have seen to hold true with people from all around the world. Mutual understanding of the parties is also something that we have deemed necessary to carry out business in a global fashion. This can get confusing because in different cultures gestures and use of the same words may have different connotation leading one or more parties to be misled. One of the few potential barriers we have seen from our relatively short culture interactions was that of language. Langue is key to communication and can make people frustrated and not want to conduct potential business. With that being said if one wishes to conduct some sort of business with a culture from a different country, research should be done and proper preparation such as a translator on your computer should be present just in case. Although this may be necessary even for conducting business with different cultures found within our own nation. Since our group decided to explore many different cultures individually, and then come together to compare and contrast, it opened our eyes to one main realization; As we enter the global business world, we will be working with so many different types of people who have different backgrounds, different traditions, and different morals, so it is very important for us to always learn and respect the different cultures we will work with. One of us specifically went to one event with four main different nationalities, this was an excellent example of how diverse business conferences and meetings will be for us as we excel into the global business world. The other two members of our team attended Chinese martial arts classes. We think it is very important to admire the techniques and rituals of these other countries. Specifically, the concept of yin and yang has reminded us how important it is to have balance in all aspects of our lives whether its family, friends, academics, relationships, sports, or business. Also, we discussed how observing the Chinese culture will help us in the long run as China is a major player in the Global economy, it is inevitable that we will all be working with the Chinese in the future. Overall we as group took full advantage of the learning opportunity this project provided us with. To restate our main takeaways from this project, we learned and were reminded that our future relationships will be extremely diverse, we must be open to change and be respectful of cultural differences. We must not let barriers such as language prevent great people from connecting. Lastly, we must keep balance in our lives such as the ancient Chinese philosophy of yin and yang.
James individual blog:
The activity that I had participated in was the fiesta day in Ybor on February 23rd. Other known as a flag day, this was a festival in which many different cultures came and set up tents for food, activities or artifacts of their own culture they wished to share with the Tampa bay community. The main cultures I had observed was the Italian, Puerto Rican, Mexican and a little Japanese. I participated by eating food of different nationalities and sparking conversation to observe differences in communication between these nationalities. Although I have met people of these cultures before, this is a new experience for myself because I have never before been to a cultured festival in which people bring the most significant items to represent their heritage as a whole. Although the culture was accurately explained to me by representation, I felt as if there wasn’t enough of each individual culture to make drastic allegations of each individual nationality but to contrast of the several that was present as a whole. At this particular event everyone was happy spending time with their friends and loved ones. The clashing of languages and music was one to be herd as every hundred feet you walked down the street had felt if you entered a new country. Throughout my time on interacting with these different people quite a few things had stood out to me. One was that the Italians were very loud and almost obnoxious. However, they managed to be quite friendly with an outgoing personality. Another thing that stood out to me is how many of the Spanish nationalities were quite sarcastic and liked to joke around. They were also very big advocates rice any many of the males were smoking a hookah. Overall the festival reminded me of New York city, due to the vast variety of people present all minding their own business. The smell of the festival was utterly amazing. From sauces to a wide spread availability of chicken dishes, the air was tainted with deliciousness. Due to this smell I reacted in a way that had made me gain about ten pounds in a measly two hours. The festival made me feel very happy and welcomed due to the great spirit of people from all around the world enjoying the spreading of a little bit of their culture with the community. I suppose I had these reactions because I myself enjoyed the festival just as much as those who created it. The aspect of the cultures I was most successful with was defiantly the edible proportions of what each nationality had offered. Throughout my life I have loved eating food from all around the world, so this festival was right up my alley. I had even managed to find some dishes that I have never seen before nor could I announce the name of them. However, the main aspect of the cultures I had seen today that I have struggled with the language barrier. Lack of understanding what I was trying to ask them and or what they were trying to tell me was difficult and frustrating. It made them lose interest in the conversation and truly did act as a major barrio between cultures. If I Had the chance to repeat the festival, I would have brought a set of prepared question to ask several different nationalities in which I could compare and contrast the responses of each. Thus allowing me to really be able to differentiate the finer aspects of each culture. Another thing that I would of done if I had the chance would be to not eat for a week and get my stomach nice and ready.
Dylan Carter Individual Blog:
On Saturday February 23rrd I had the opportunity to observe a Tai Chi lesson at Wah Lum Kung Fu of Tampa on Rome Ave. This was a very new and interesting cultural experience because not only have I never seen the actual practice of Tai Chi or Kung Fu or seen the inside of a martial arts studio, but I wasn’t even completely aware of what exactly Tai Chi and Kung fu was or how it differentiated from regular karate. The building was very unique and had a strange smell upon walking in. Both the inside and outside of the building is different than anything you would normally see in our culture, from the architecture of the building to the Chinese decor covering inside and out. Throughout the building there are many dragon portraits and statues that symbolize power, strength and good luck in the Chinese culture. I felt a little uncomfortable at first because I felt out of place in an environment I’ve never been exposed to before. When we entered workout room of we were greeted by an elderly man, the Tai Chi and Kung Fu instructor. He welcomed us in with open arms and seemed happy that we were interested in his practice that he is clearly very passionate about. He welcomed us to sit in to observe classes anytime and requested that we didn’t take pictures during the lesson. When you think of Tai Chi, you probably picture people fighting aggressively with unique wild moves. It is actually more relaxed and involves more meditation than you would expect. The instructor heavily emphasized the use of concentration, breathing techniques and properly using your energy to your advantage. The training methods are said to be very effective in creating a strong body and mind. The moves he was teaching didn’t seem as quick and aggressive as the karate moves I imagined and have seen in the past. They were slower movements with more precision and balance. The instructor shared cultural stories with his students throughout the class that were very interesting to hear. There were only six students in the class, two women and four men, all middle aged adults who seemed very interested in the culture and practice. I think an aspect of the culture that I was successful with was keeping an open mind in really trying to understand what the culture includes, its importance and its main attributes. If I were to repeat the experience I would have done more research to come in with more knowledge about Tai Chi, Kung Fu and their culture itself to deepen my understanding even more. I don’t think I would consistently practice this art or ever want to use it because it doesn’t have much importance to me or relevance in my culture, but it was awesome to learn about. Overall this was a great experience that really taught me a lot. I appreciated the opportunity to look into a different culture and way of life that I’ve never really seen before. I would definitely recommend this experience to others because there’s a lot more to this culture than just what than average American would see in the movies.
Eric Sullivan Individual Blog:
On Saturday February 23rd, I actively observed and partially participated in a Tai Chi class. This building offers both Kung Fu and Tai Chi lessons and is located on Rome Ave in Tampa, Florida. This was a completely new experience unlike anything I’ve done before. I pass by this building everyday going to and from campus and always joked around with my roommates about going in and taking a class, and finally this project gave me an excuse to really go in and do it. Upon opening the main door, you enter a room with an old musky smell littered with Chinese artifacts and knick-knacks. At first, I did not feel immediately welcomed, as the woman in the front room was on a phone call and quickly shewed me away into the large workout room. It was there where I felt extremely welcomed by an elderly male, who was the instructor of both Tai Chi and Kung Fu classes. The old man was happy to see a new face expressing interest in his classes. He told me I am welcomed to sit in on any classes and watch for free anytime. He preferred I did not take any pictures of the class in session or of himself, so I respected his wish. I was however able to snap this photo of the inside when he was not looking. The photo is a small example, but certainly does not express how sentimental this place really is. Taking this felt like I went back in time 100 years to a small Chinese village and it felt like I was really there. Although Tai Chi is a fighting art, it was rather peaceful and relaxing for most of it. The instructor stressed that concentrated breathing and properly using your energy are the most important aspects of battle. With that being said, a lot of the class consisted of breathing and balance exercises to get warmed up. He often talked about yin and yang, he said “inhale, exhale”, “Fight, Rest”, “Expand, Contract”. I liked how he talked and told little stories throughout the entire class. He was here to teach us not only moves but also explained how these techniques are to be used all throughout different aspects of life especially love. It was not all meditation, there were times where he showed a move and people would practice them. They were very unique and at times looked like orchestrated dances. To be completely honest I couldn’t see myself using any of the moves shown in a confrontation, but that could be because I was only observing one class. The instructor saw I was dressed in athletic wear so he allowed me to do some warm up exercises and push-ups. I did not pay to attend this lesson. There were only six other people in the class, they seemed to be in the ages of 35-45, two women and four men. I felt as if this particular building and perhaps the art in general is underappreciated and does not intake a lot of money, as it is a place of business, I feel as if it does not have many years remaining unless something is done about it.

Welcome to the latest edition of DCN Cosplay Spotlight, where I talk to some very talented people in the wonderful world of cosplay. This month I had the pleasure of talking with someone who has recently made some waves in the cosplay scene with her awesome Wonder Woman cosplay, Lis Wonder!
Check out the interview below:
DC COMICS NEWS: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from originally?
LIS WONDER: My name is Lis, and I am from sunny Miami, Florida. I am 30 years old and I was born in Cuba, but when I was eight years old my family left to Russia, and I was raised there. Then, we came to the USA to pursue the American dream, and here we are! I am a simple Florida girl who loves photography, the arts, cosplaying, and animals.
DCN: What was your first ever cosplay project?
LIS: My first cosplay was at the age of 12 when I decided to become Tutankhamun, but those pictures will never be released. It was terrible, but amazing at the same time. I did the full makeup, and I used materials from around the house to create the Egyptian pharaoh. I have always loved makeup and transforming myself into various characters but didn’t have the means (Instagram, Facebook) to share my passion.
DCN: You’ve gotten a lot of notice for your Wonder Woman cosplay, particularly from Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins. What is it, for you, about this character in particular that made you want to create a cosplay?
LIS: Growing up I struggled with my accent and my look was definitely not your typical “American” TV girl, like Lynda Carter for example. So when it was announced that Gal Gadot was going to play Wonder Woman, I was beyond excited. The original Wonder Woman was not from the USA yet she loved the world and this country, like me, and the values she stood for, fairness, kindness, hope, resonated with me. And then when Dawn of Justice came out, and my entire family turned to me in shock and said “You look just like her!,” the dots connected themselves and the idea to cosplay someone I admired, who I identified with, and I actually looked like was born.
I started with a very basic cosplay that someone had already made, and I did some modifications to it. I also studied Alyson Tabbitha’s tutorial and photos of her Wonder Woman, which helped me tremendously. But it’s when I went to Tampa Con and dressed as Wonder Woman and saw the reaction of all the little children that I realized just what a beloved and important character Diana Prince is. It is my goal to do her justice and bring something positive and good in this world through my cosplay. I also feel validated by Patty Jenkins who noticed my cosplay and re-tweeted my photo. I know this is something I am meant to do.
DCN: With Wonder Woman being more in the public spotlight recently, have you felt any added pressure to portray the this character right?
LIS: The world really needs Wonder Woman right now and everything she stands for. So yes, I feel pressure to make sure my portrayal is accurate. Especially since I have organized a few community outreach events. I will be visiting some local hospitals this holiday season to bring gifts, and I know that a Wonder Woman cosplay done well will bring joy too!
DCN: How long did it take you to put this cosplay together?
LIS: Not long, as I purchased most of it completed and the modifications were not major. I am currently learning to work with EVA foam and getting better at sewing so that I can create more armor and other cosplays.
DCN: What is it about cosplay that calls to you?
LIS: Creativity and the fact that you can be any character you want whenever you want. Before I used to think I could only dress up on Halloween, but now I dress up every weekend and share my ideas and concepts online with the cosplay community.
DCN: What has been your favorite cosplay project so far?
LIS: Daredevil for sure! I had lots of fun doing all sorts of fantastic martial arts moves and putting blood all over my face. It was a simple cosplay (black shirt, black pants, boots, and a face cover), but it was the most fun I have ever had cosplaying. I also loved my Aquaman cosplay because it was done by the ocean and although it was very challenging due to the big waves and the slippery rocks, the photos came out amazing. I organized the photoshoot myself with some help, and I edited my own photos.
DCN: Do you have a favorite memory or story while cosplaying?
LIS: When I went to Tampa Con I went with my best friend. My skirt for Wonder Woman was very stiff and so were my boots; I COULD NOT BEND AT ALL. I had to go up and down stairs with stiff legs, and I couldn’t even pick up my shield and sword every time I dropped them, which was a lot. But we laughed so hard that it made it fun and memorable. I wish I had smiled more but I was very uncomfortable and it was extremely hot, so when I look at the pictures I always laugh at my face.
DCN: Outside of cosplay do you have any other interest/hobbies?
LIS: I love photography! I actually created a separate Instagram account for photography @lis.tham. I also sing and play golf.
DCN: How do your friends and family feel about you cosplaying? Are they supportive?
LIS: They love that I am doing something that makes me happy, and I am blessed to have an amazing support system.
DCN: Do you have a pet peeve when it comes to cosplay?
LIS: Some folks think that costume and play is for children. They don’t understand the concept, the fun, the hobby, the good it can do…it boils down to judgmental people. But I won’t allow that to stop my passion.
DCN: Do you have any cosplays you will never do and why?
LIS: Nothing with nudity. I can be attractive and impactful with my clothes on!
DCN: Why do you think cosplay has become so popular in the last few years?
LIS: Two words: Social media! This has allowed for people like me from all over the world to share their projects and receive feedback.
DCN: Which DC character may we see next from you?
LIS: I am working on Donna Troy, and I am very excited about it. She is very powerful and strong – just the type of female characters I go for.
DCN: Thanks so much for your time! Let our fans know where they can find you.
LIS: Thank you for this interview, I am truly grateful. I use Instagram to keep in touch with all my followers @lis.wonder and Twitter @lis.wonder1.
Once again, I’d like to give a special thank you to Lis Wonder for taking the time to do this interview. Please be sure to check out her work on social media and support this very talented cosplayer!

Just as Steve Rogers Tampa Bay Lightning 2022 eastern conference champions shirt . once was, Sam Wilson will soon be at the forefront of the MCU as he takes up a bigger role within The Avengers moving forward. It remains to be seen whether Wilson will serve as the next leader of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but he undoubtedly should have one of the largest roles in The Kang Dynasty after fully embracing the Captain America mantle in New World Order. Brie Larson's Captain Marvel sits among the most powerful heroes in the MCU, as she proved in the fight against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. The Kree hero will probably be part of the MCU's Big Three heroes moving forward, making an appearance in The Kang Dynasty almost certain.Tampa Bay Lightning 2022 eastern conference champions shirt, hoodie, sweater, longsleeve and ladies t-shirt

Classic Men's Simu Liu's Shang-Chi proved to be a popular addition to the MCU when he debuted in his 2021 solo outing Tampa Bay Lightning 2022 eastern conference champions shirt . After being introduced to Avengers like Captain Marvel and Hulk in his post-credits scene, the martial arts expert will undoubtedly have an important part to play in the next major crossover. The director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Destin Daniel Cretton, is even set to helm The Kang Dynasty, so there's no doubt he will want to offer a major role to his first MCU hero. The Black Panther will no doubt be a major player in the MCU moving forward, and all the evidence looks to be indicating Shuri will succeed T'Challa in that mantle. Even if she loses out on the mantle to another Wakandan, Shuri will surely be present as one of the smartest people in the Marvel universe and a key player in Wakanda.
