i'm being fed so well today!! it's cool bc this is my first time seeing normal Moon! i like getting both variations in one place like this too😊✨ and time to say some compliments i neglected earlier!

Sun looks like when you fall in love, the way you've drawn him is warmth personified! i adore the slight translucence of his fins too. and i'm similarly struck by the luminous quality of Moon's own fins. love the peek of his lil dark claws from his crossed arms, i would 100% try to hold his hand (and get scratched, probably)

🦀 the mermaids can make their eyes glow independently of their fins/esca

🦀 Sun is used to Moon's mischievous nature and snappy attitudes, so Meryn is very refreshing in contrast. he loves to watch the way Moon and Meryn interact. he's realised that Meryn is more likely to accept an innocent act from him than from Moon, and Sun is looking forward to getting away with teasing Meryn in the future

🦀 some of Meryn's organs aren't quite in the right place, for a full human. luckily they're not fully human so no reason for concern, but it does weird out their medical practitioners

🦀 you know how Moon is always stealing stuff from Meryn, like hair ties and miscellaneous tools? sometimes he takes out his collection and just spends ages examining everything while sitting in his nest. he was excited to share it with Sun. they recently added hairpins to the pile

🦀 Meryn didn't have the means to fund their own education, but they were able to achieve a sponsorship. losing their finger webbing delayed their career sponsorship by about half a year
