Entama newspaper/letter log

Just a self indulgent thing. I've been writing the down in a physical vpet log I have for a while now, but thought I'd leave them here as well bcos why not :)

Tamagotchi.vn Customizes TamaTama Tama-Go & Entama With LED Backlight

How awesome are these customizations? Tamagotchi.vn is a member of the Tamagotchi community that creates custom content for Tamagotchi’s. They also sell some software for select Tamagotchi models, and some faceplates on their Ko-Fi shop.

What really caught our eye is that Tamagotchi.vn has now successfully modified both a TamaTown Tama-Go & Entomb with an LED backlight which makes it much easier to see these screens in the dark! These customizations are not available for sale, for now at least, but are really awesome to see.

Last week, I sent an email to Bandai about the possibility of rereleasing the Tamagotchi Connection line next year for the 20th anniversary. This was their response:

As confirmed by others, this isn't just a generic bot response.

If you also want to contact Bandai for a Tamagotchi Connection rerelease, look here. With enough of us, we might be able to make it happen! Don't spam though, and be respectful.

Go into detail about the high demand for the Connections on the secondhand market. (They often go for $100 USD or more, especially the Connection v4/v4.5, which are considered some of the best Tamagotchi devices ever released.)

Mention that the 20th anniversary of the Connection series is next year (2024).

I'm hoping for the best, but I'm prepared for potential disappointment.

I'm not active on tumblr, but I figured this might be better off here than on twitter tbh

So, I've been really into Tamagotchi Gotchi Gear: Pet Pouches as of recently. I've had 3 of them as a kid, those being Mametchi, Memetchi and Kuchipatchi. A few years back in 2018, when I for the first time got back into Tamagotchi after being out of it during my teen years, I put up a goal for myself that I want to collect all the Pet Pouches. Currently I own 8 of them and I'm possibly nearing 10. Through my search for the Pet Pouches, I realized a few things such as exclusive ones I wasn't aware of (mostly to Japan) but also to my surprise, seemingly quite a few exclusions in regions as well

There's really not much info on these, if you can consider any at all, so I decided to compile a brief document on them that (hopefully) lists them all. In what regions they were found and general regional differences. I don't know if this will be of help to anyone really, I just felt like doing it after have been spending so much time trying to find them all. I mean, I literally found out about the Sergeant Pepper one (the tiger) last night, so the list is still growing

This is based on every reference that I personally have found through my research, and it could be missing stuff. There's for instance, questions regarding as to what the alternative red US packaging were for. I'd like this documentation to become as fleshed out as possible, if possible. If you have anything to contribute with, you can contact me through twitter (@lun0z) or Discord (Lunoz#0790) as stated in the document. Since I posted this on tumblr now, I'll be checking this post in case it gets any traction, but I'm way more active over there than here

Contributions could be things such as providing;

· Clearer images

Images for the rest of the Pet Pouches in packaging for the EU region

· Images of Pet Pouches appearing in other regions than currently listed

· Pet Pouches that aren't listed yet

And etc., anything you'd find useful for others to see or know really. You'd be credited for your finding(s) and image(s) if you're the owner
