day 93: we beat berseria, now to replay zestiria!!

my thoughts on berseria (with potential spoilers) under the cut!

overall, i really enjoyed berseria!! the characters were entertaining & had good chemistry, the story was good (i especially liked eleanor's character arc), & i liked being able to customize my combos.

that being said, i'm not a fan of the ending (specifically velvet's ending) & some parts felt a bit strange (like velvet calling herself a therion in front of rokurou at the beginning & then later rokurou acting like he's hearing about it for the first time // when eleanor was talking to artorius about the plan to betray the group with the game making it clear that velvet & eizen overheard her which they never address). the game also felt weirdly backloaded with sidequests that didn't need to wait till the end (like the quest for videl & the optional fight with zaveid)

my personal rating: 8/10

Started the colour wheel challenge on Twitter last month but only with pretty boys, lost all motivation halfway through and had too many other things on my plate to continue, yet somehow managed to complete it anyway, and with that I have fulfilled my fanart quota for the year. Unless I somehow manage to find time for a “ladies whom I want to step on me” version, but it’s more than just a little unlikely.
