So the amazing @justarandomidiot1 sent in some fan art from the ONCE UPON ANOTHER TIME, and my mind is blown. I LOVE these, especially the little details. So that's the characters making hearts with their respective LGBTQ+ flags (and Lena, according to @justarandomidiot1, "not getting the hint and being her amazing aromantic asexual self" which is just so great). And then that's some designs for someone named Swiff who shows up pretty late in the series, but no spoilers. And finally the Wolf Sisters, some of my personal favorites ... LOVE their wolf cloaks! Thank you SO MUCH for sending these in, @justarandomidiot1!

i can give you a few spoilers:

Regina and Tala will get married in season 2 of OUAT.

Tala was Regina's true love so she had to sacrifice her for the curse to take effect, except Regina, in a moment of hysteria, took out her own heart and split it, shoving part of her heart into Tala's chest to keep her girlfriend alive.

Tala was apart of the Evil Queen's army. a general.

growing up, the two knew each other but Cora tried to keep them apart.

Henry Sr is alive.

Tala is Red's sister so they drifted apart, being on opposite sides. when the curse was cast, they got closer again. regina, tala, henry, granny, and red often have family dinners.

that's all the spoilers i'm giving for now!! we are going to have a lot more planned because it's easy for me and nox to create SO MUCH.

i don't think i have five private verses? a lot of them are canon-based but i would LOVE to have more private detailed and plotted verses so y'all hit me up.

The question has Tala groaning with a roll of her eyes as she presses one last kiss to Regina’s lips before pulling back to lean against the couch while grabbing for her glass— Regina’s cider that can always take the edge off. “Annoying, nerve wracking, testing the last of my patience.”

Tala takes a healthy drink, “You know I can get along with anyone in this town when needed, push myself to be polite even toward Whale when all I want to do is smash his head against a brick wall.” Another roll of her eyes as she sets her glass down, running a hand through her long hair. “But lately, with everything going on in our personal lives it’s bleeding into work. Graham and Swan are making me want murder.”

The house is quiet for now, the sun has set and another long day over. Their son, even if only legally Regina’s for now, is tucked safely in bed already off in dreamland no doubt. These small moments, where it’s just the two of them, give Tala peace and it’s the woman’s favorite way to decompress.

Curling deeper into Regina, Tala inhales deeply—the mixture of the Mayor’s perfume, body wash and shampoo, with a hint of her natural scent a balm that can sooth her even on the worst of days. The scent isn’t just of Regina, it’s what Tala associates with home. Her safest place, one where she doesn’t have to be anything or anyone but her truest self.

A soft content sound bubbles in her throat, almost a purr but still a whisper of a hum as her lips brush against Regina’s. One hand moves to tangle in dark locks while the other cups a sharp jaw, thumb gliding along smooth skin. A lazy smile pulls at Tala’s lips before she rests her forehead to the other woman’s, “You always know how to make a long day better.”

Regina enjoys the sweet and peaceful moments between the two of them. Even with all her darkness, even back in the enchanted forest, Tala has always been a light in her darkness - even through the worst of times.

She understands why Tala wanted to forget everything but sometimes she wishes she wouldn’t, so she’s not so alone in her thoughts when they drift to the enchanted forest and the time there - she’d never risk bringing that pain back though.

Regina smiles as Tala rests her forehead against hers. “I could say the same for you.” She whispers, brushing her lips against Tala’s once more. “How was work?”
