Supernatural , Season 6, Episode 7
Family Matters
Sam doesn't sleep , at all , not since he got back
"It never occurred to you there's something off about that?"
Oooh Dean's really pissed (Understandable)
IF HE CANT FEEL HOW IS HE FEELING PAIN? (its physical?)
"Its his soul , its gone"
Aw, because he's soulless, he can't care that he is soulless. This is so saaaaad. When does he get his soul back? Does it take the entire season? I don't want a whole season of soulless Sam :(. I miss soulful Sam.
Is Samuel also soulless? or does he have his soul because he wasn't trapped in a pit meant to hold Lucifer?
Have I mentioned that I don't like Samuel? Idk i just don’t like how he treats Dean. I get all hunters have trust issues, but idk this feels like some weird hatred. See, I trust Dean's instincts, he usually gets the trust stuff right more often than Sam. Sam's a cutie patootie (doesn't know who to trust, like me).
See, putting Dean in the back, when he knows Dean is a good hunter? Man, these damn hunters and their trust issues. Also, Samuel IS hiding something ( the phone call?).
I hate it when the brothers lie to each other. (but that's just siblings for you).
YAYAYAYA Sam and Dean are working together again. Brings joy to my heart.
Christian gives me the creeps. Also I just in general don't like people who are dicks to the brothers.
The alpha vamp actor looks really familiar. Also, before I started posting in the earlier seasons, I saw 3 actors from Once Upon A Time (Does anyone else watch that series?)
"Not heaven, not hell" "Legoland?"
Purgatory? Why does he want to find where purgatory is? I'm starting to think that the Alpha vamp wanted to be caught? Is he so powerful?
CROWLEY?
Oh, so that's why Christian was being such a bitch? Crowley is such a mastermind, though. Is Crowley the one who pulled them up? Oh, he's Lucifer 2.0, basically. (But I feel he's smarter because he doesn't underestimate Sam and Dean that much?) Also, he doesn't do the whole fate, god, raze the world stuff. Which was a big thing for Lucifer.
"What did he offer you? Girls, Money, Hair?"
Ah, Sam really was about to pull the trigger on Grandaddy. And Dean just unflinchingly puts his gun down. He knew soulless Sam would do that. Man they should have kept Crowley’s bones, but Bobby... hmm.
"You with me Dean?"

@sweetie-pie-explosion @vivi-ships okay here we go
RTC revival au
So the basics of this is that everyone gets brought back. Even Karnak.
Preface; Jane-Penny isn't Legoland Penny here bc I wanted to be silly about it
All of them wake up in bed the day that they were supposed to go to the fair and they all remember limbo so they're like "let's not ride the Cyclone this time".
As a consequence, they of course do not die
However, having experienced death together, they traumabond! They spend the entire morning in a human chain (holding each other's hands) and refuse to let go for anything.
Karnak is at the fair and is no longer a robot. He has to cope with now having both his old memories and also the memories of a human life where he was just hired as a fortune teller for the fair.
He can still see the future though.
The kids get their fortunes read, but this time since they're staying away from the Cyclone, their death isn't as certain. (Even Karnak can't see their new deaths yet. He does however see some other things, but he keeps them to himself.)
They sorta traumabond to Karnak as well because he did give Penny the chance to be brought back. Since Penny doesn't really have a family he ends up taking her in. (They bond over not feeling entirely human.)
Speaking of Penny! She takes so many pictures. She does a whole 180° from hiding her face and is taking SO many selfies in the hopes that if she does die, she'll be recognized this time.
Mischa has a bi awakening and has to deal with that
Eventually he and Talia break up, but it's a peaceful thing and they both still care about each other and are friends
It's mostly that Mischa is dealing with a newfound crush on Noel and didn't think it was fair to stay with Talia since he couldn't get rid of his feelings for Noel
They are still friends though!! Talia starts learning English so she can come visit (Mischa suggests it).
The rest of the choir stops babying Ricky!! They hang out at his house a lot (it's big) and bond over various things and watch superhero movies
None of them go to therapy for any of the death trauma because a, how do they even explain that, and b, they have each other it's Fine as long as they aren't separated
Yeah they're clingy. Traumabonding.
They're a queerplatonic polycule now btw
They have regular cuddle sessions and sleepovers where they all sleep in a big pile together
Everyone at school is heavily confused by Ocean's sudden shift in personality (she's much nicer)
The rest of the choir just shake their heads when asked.
Ocean becomes Constance's protector until Constance gets confident enough to stand up for herself
Speaking of Constance. Her house becomes the unofficial place for those whose parents are sorta sucky cause hers are really nice
It's a haven for Ocean and Mischa especially
Noel is Suffering because now the rest of the choir knows about Monique and about him wanting to dress femme
Luckily they are all very supportive and Ocean takes him dress shopping :)
They're like siblings, they hate each other but they're there for each other lmao
Noel is also suffering because now he has to actually confront his gender issues
Luckily he has Ricky (non-binary) to help him
Jane goes by both Penny and Jane
Some of the choir calls her PJ and Penny Jane
The rest of the school is very confused
Honestly they're all confused over the sudden overnight change these kids seem to have gone through that has so drastically changed how they interact with each other and everyone else
Yeah
There's more but my head hurts so I'll reblog this again tomorrow when it stops
Okay who wants to hear about my RTC post-canon au where they all get brought back.

a lot of people like the noel and ocean or mischa and ocean sibling dynamic and i do too but can we talk about mischa, ezra, and penny having a sibling dynamic (or being, like, adopted siblings)
#okay this will not make much sense but abt the adoption thing#mischa's family wanted a young child but as they grew older they realized they couldnt take care of one so they decided to adopt a nice 13-#-year old boy and his sister. little did they know that these siblings are absolutely batshit and would only encourage their other trouble-#-maker son#also they get Proper Bedrooms and they always invite mischa up to sleep with them. he always sleeps on the floor (with one of their stuffed#-animals too but shhh dont say that#mischa#penny#ezra#legoland#rtc#mischa bachinski#penny lamb#ezra lamb#ride the cyclone#legoland play#my post#headcanons

-when i sneeze loudly and my baby brother yells “ATOO
-my parents doing little things for me and/or my siblings just to make us smile, from slipping me a dollar to taking us to legoland and everything in between :)
-when it’s snowing really hard and i can just watch the snow fall with some tea or coffee and enjoy life instead of worrying about anything
-seeing really toxic people i know getting mad when they talk to me because all while taking their insults i stay calm and don’t flip out like they hoped for (oh yea and irl they ignore me, however they are brave enough to message me over winter break knowing i won’t be able to confront them for a while, trying to get a a kick from me, while not realizing that i really don’t care because its winter break and i’m really not in the mood for being in a bad mood)

I hope that 2019 be a bigger whirlwind than 2018 and twice as rememberable, and not for all the bad but for the good and learning I have done in that year. I hope y'all have a wonderful New Year's Eve/New Year's and please share with me what your New Year's Resolutions are!

1/just got so SO much memories. good memories, like the stuff i enjoyed as a kid. i watched a youtube video where they went to legoland and i CLEARLY remember going there everywhere it was so cool like i remember all the rides and the restaurants and the lego statues and i loved bionicals and i had all the huge complex legos like i had the taj mahal and the eifell tower and there was like a whole ass neighborhood in my room. and i remember very briefly and vaguely what that room looked like. the room that ive had blocked out for so long. still, i dont have a whole idea of the layout of the room, but i remembered the lamp and the light undern the bathroom door being associated with abuse, but now i very clearly remember building some type of yellow construction lego on the floor in my room after school. i was so good at following instructions like i remember spending all my time building these crazy sets and that led into my obsession in elementary school which was origami. again like i was so so into it to the point i was buying like japanese instruction books by people like. there names were satoshi kimiya and robert j lang. i even saw robert j lang talk in person! and i hot his autograph haha. he had this incredible book, it was like instructions for some of the most ridiculously complicated pieces. one if them i remember was a moose with large ornate antlers, another was a frog that use the white side of the paper as eyes, and the magnum opus was called the black forest cuckoo clock. it took like a custom cut piece of paper that i could never find, but i tried it a few times with varying success. it was insane. oh and. remember my talent shows! god i was such a weird kid. it all is so dam autistic LMAO i did origami for one talent show which included this snake that had something like 3000 scales. oh i remember ms butler my english teacher in middle school i think 6th and 8th grade. i remember in her class in 8th grade i did this diorama of greek gods and i folded a bunch of really complex like warrior pieces. god. i had like one obsession after the next, or like hobby i guess? i remember when i tried to go to a trauma therapist 3-4 years when i was still dependent on them, they didnt let me see the trauma therapist bc my parents said i wasnt traumatized. that therapist tried to tell my mom. she said, “i can tell you, by the way he refuses to make eye contact me, i can guarantee you hes traumatized” she hated that lol god. i remember my mom emailed that therapist this, oh god. im trying to remember, she basically summarized my whole life. in this, very cold cruel way. she was talking about these interests of mine in a way i remember hating. my mom did that again when i moved away. she emailed the people i was staying to tell them i wasnt abused LMAO i was literally like, dependent on them financially bc the ptsd was so opressive i couldnt work or go to school, but i moved out of state to escape them, still taking this support bc i couldnt work. and they emailed the people i was staying with, that was scary. i remember playing in this water thing at legoland. im really trying to remember where my dad was? i dont remember anything with him. i remember my mom very clearly. shes very flawed. alot of ups and downs in her treatment of me. looking back, it was interesting she was a definite matriarch, given she she was so emotionally unstable. god. i remember she sat the entire 5 person family 3 kids her and her husband down at the table to tell us we need to be nicer to her. she really controlled every part of that family. one thing i remember being a pattern with me and all my siblings are the fights. just with mom. we all fought with her. she was very persistent about winning arguments and never admitting she did anything wrong. the thing that really sticks with me now, is well. i was the rebellious kid, i fought the most with her. all the argument, i ended up crying. and she never really ever made any concessions. you know the parent always being right and all. but i remember like, basically begging her tobudge

h - horror yes or horror no: Generally no. My imagination is pretty intense and I scare easy.

Z - zodiac sign: Libra
No tags but you're welcome! I'm always curious.

A Critical Perspective on Mass Tourism Attractions in San Diego, CA
Introduction
The tourism industry is heavily carried by mass tourism which is classified as tens of thousands of people going to the same destination at the same time of year. The most popular forms of this branch of tourism are seen during the summer, typically resorts by the beach and visually beautiful places. Mass tourism also includes packaged deals for the purpose of making the attraction affordable for more people to come, generating high revenue through activities and guided tours. Here, we will examine the San Diego attractions: The Carlsbad Flower Fields and The Hotel Del Coronado and their role in the tourism industry, influence on the Tourist Gaze, and the different invisible rules and labor behind the luxurious and breathtaking experiences.
The Carlsbad Flower Fields
“Places are performed… and are put into play in relation to other places” (Sheller, Urry; pg. 1)
The Carlsbad Flower Fields exhibit multiple qualities which constitute it as a mass tourism destination in San Diego. It covers 50 acres of land, tickets cost as little as $9-$18, and profits off guided tours, tractor rides, and selling bouquets of freshly cut flowers straight from the fields. While this is a beautiful location for tourists to snap instagrammable pictures, picnic with family, and feel connected to the history of Carlsbad (the fields have been around for 85 years); behind the gorgeous ranunculus’ lies the labor of hundreds of men and women which goes unacknowledged.
“Places are chosen to be gazed upon because anticipation constructed and sustained through a variety of non-tourist practices” (Urry, pg. 3)
The fields are only open to the public during Spring Season (March to May) because it is prime time for the flowers to bloom, meaning the other 9 months of the year are spent planting, growing, and upkeeping the flowers while planning events and coordinating tractor rides. The gardeners who tend to the flowers work long hours in the hot sun, considering Carlsbad rarely sees rain or overcast weather, with minimum compensation. One nice aspect is that all the profits from the admission fees, cost of tours and tractor rides, and nursery go towards funding the future cultivation. As a San Diego native, more specifically Carlsbad, I can attest to the insane traffic and overpopulation of the streets near the Flower Fields which were additionally caused by the malls and restaurants nearby.
“It is hard to envisage the nature of contemporary tourism without seeing how much activities are literally constituted in our imagination through advertising and media” (Caletrio; pg. 2)
The city was very meticulous when they decided to build a huge Outlet Mall with higher-end restaurants surrounding the Fields to generate good revenue and make it a prime tourist location, just off the freeway near Legoland. I remember being a graduate from high school and moving to Orange County. I had reconnected with one of my friends from San Diego and we both realized we had lived there our whole lives and NEVER been to the Flower Fields. We partook in our own “tourist trip” to the Fields and joined the plethora of people taking pictures. I found it interesting of the people I saw, many international families and locals showing friends and family from out of town “around Carlsbad”. Overall, the Flower Fields are good for the City of Carlsbad because they put it on the map and made it a more desirable place. However, from a local standpoint there is definitely over-tourism in Carlsbad around the Fields and Outlets which causes irritation among the residents.
Another popular San Diego attraction is...
The Hotel Del Coronado

Since I am not originally from San Diego, I used to only identify San Diego as The Hotel Del Coronado, since my family and I would come to San Diego for the sole purpose of staying at this luxury hotel. I have never been to any other San Diego beaches or attractions until I was 20 years old and moved here for school, leaving me with a single definition of San Diego only as The Hotel Del Coronado.
As a child I would perform the role of a guest by swimming at their beach and building sand castles. My parents would have a drink at their ocean view cafe and my siblings and I would roast marshmallows at night at their beach bonfires. The hotel’s superior service performed the role of a host well by making our stay very enjoyable. This resort showed that it is always “in play” to better the stay of its guests and remain a top star hotel.

“The twentieth century ushered in some striking further transformations of the tourist gaze. Places by the sea emerged all over the world, modeling themselves [after] these early mass resorts...” (Urry, pg.49)
Hotel del Coronado, uniquely embodies the mass tourism model, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. After visiting the hotel and beach myself, I’ve noticed that many foreign tourists come to Coronado to get a California experience that they wouldn’t be able to get outside of the United States, let alone other states within our country. Mass tourism is defined as large scale and has a “one size fits all” approach to vacation accommodations. They are often packaged holidays with all-inclusive amenities pre-planned for the guests. Back in the 1800′s when the hotel was built, seaside tourism was a newer concept which made the hotel very popular. This ideal behind the exclusive Hotel Del still remains.
At the hotel I’ve noticed that many of the guests are those that come from all around the world to visit this resort and they typically don’t leave the premises once they’ve arrived. I’ve even noticed Groupons online for discount stays for an extended period of time, which seems to be marketed for people who are not from San Diego and want an easy way to make accomodations online through a third party. Coronado Island is typically packed with tourists nearly every weekend, sometimes disrupting the communities that live there, which is overtourism. I’ve even noticed that many locals like to drive golf carts around since its easier to maneuver once it gets busy. There is traffic, limited parking and herds of people all of the time. After talking to locals they say this is something they all have to get used to...

“Culturally coded patterns of tourist behaviour partly emerge out of dispositions that evolve around class, gender, ethnicity and sexuality, for instance” (Endsor; pg.60).
Hotel Del Coronado hotel is considered an enclavic tourist space since tourists and workers are subjected to strict monitoring and disciplining. Many of the hotel activities are pre-planned and exclusive for only the guests at the hotel, like night-time beach bonfires. They put out marshmallows and sticks for hotel guests to use and they are very strict about only guests partaking, demonstrating their role as the host. They have many parties out on their back-lawn area that are gated off for guests only and there are signs cutting off the general public to their activities.
In addition, they do not like when non-guests of the hotel walk through or use their bathrooms, exemplifying exclusivity. You cannot enter the hotel fully wet, bathed in sand or barefoot either. Many of the guests are middle to higher class, wear nicer clothes and their children appear well dressed too. These are regulations enforced by staff and other guests which makes the space enclavic. In addition, I’ve noticed many other motels and buildings on Coronado Island who copy the architecture of the Hotel del Coronado, proving that this is a historical monument that is highly sought after.
Conclusion
When visiting a new destination either on holiday or just by accident, it’s easy to believe that a destination simply is the way it is naturally. Perfected tropical destinations in the Caribbean with white sand beaches and blue water. Even The Carlsbad Flower Fields or The Hotel Del Coronado seem to be perfectly created, not missing a single detail. However, “behind the scenes” these places are in fact always evolving and developing to fit the expectations and desires of their guests and the world watching around them -- even if that means putting local residents at a disadvantage. It’s the responsibility of the tourist to be conscious consumers, honor local communities and respect the social standards of a destination.

Hello, dolls!! Hello, #ThrowbackThursday ! 😛 I’ve been getting an extra day with little A every 2/3 weeks and I must say, I don’t know how SAHMs do it without wanting to call anyone for help! lol. My energy is being consumed by 3 major things for the past 7 months — work, my pregnancy, and running after my toddler. I can’t wait to knock down the first two in a month so I can devote my energy to our growing family.
This week, I talked to my employer about my future in the company. It went better than I thought it would. Taking a step back on my career is something I really can’t fully grasp yet. After all, I spent the past 8 years working hard to get where I am now — so it’s a really bittersweet feeling. Though I know it’s for the best reason, the big question for me is “how do people let go of something they are passionate about?”. I know I need this break for my mental health as well. If I am not pregnant, I would probably be overworking myself until God knows when causing me to be toxic to the people around me because I am beyond exhausted — this I have to remind myself over and over.
So let me take it easy today and think about happy thoughts! Like my super cool lunch experience at Brick Burger in Pasig City, Philippines.
My siblings know that A loves legos so much so they suggested going to Brick Burger for the experience and food.
Truth be told, whenever I see concept restaurants like this in the Philippines I kind of doubt the quality of food. A lot of times, restaurant owners spend more time conceptualizing a restaurant that will be “Instaworthy” and fall short on creating a menu that people will come back for. So how did Brick burger fare?
Whoever designed Brick Burger knew what he was talking about. Every corner of the restaurant screamed legos! It felt like we were in Legoland.
I was fascinated with the collection of legos they have in store. Especially this Nike shoe that resembled A’s lol.
Cheesy Nachos for our appetizer. It’s not the “real deal” but if you grew up eating Nacho King, this one is just as good.
Chicken Pesto
Welcome to the Philippines, where protein portions look like they are garnishes. I feel like the lemon slice was bigger than the chicken breast that we got. The pesto was pretty good though!
BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger
All the burgers were served on lego buns! Talk about effort.
The burgers did not disappoint. They were juicy and tasty! Definitely an upgrade from Angels Burger and Burger Machine 😛
A tried the Brick Burger challenge but failed! The burger was very big and well, A is not good eating under pressure lol.
Buffalo Wings
Oh how I missed coated fried chicken like this! If there’s anything you can’t go wrong in the Philippines, that would be any kind of chicken — roasted, fried, or grilled!
Brick Burger exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just another Instagrammable restaurant but the food was actually good.
Now I have 2 boys that love legos so much! Been stepping on legos since A let little A play with his collection.
#MyABoys twinning in gray ❤
I am going to end this post with extra cuteness!! I can’t believe this little boy was once this small. Now I can hardly keep up with his energy lol 😛
xx
R ❤
Manila Eats: Brick Burger Hello, dolls!! Hello, #ThrowbackThursday ! 😛 I've been getting an extra day with little A every 2/3 weeks and I must say, I don't know how SAHMs do it without wanting to call anyone for help! 562 more words

so, how's life? It’s kinda in the middle. I bought gifts for my Gab’s family and I went from having P4000 ($80) to measly P250 ($5) but it’ll be SO worth it because I got them stuff that they really wanted. I don’t even regret losing that much money because I found it fulfilling to be buying gifts for a family that I do love.
[huge, pulsating trigger warning] On the other hand, I went into a panic attack and started hyperventilating when my mom scolded me the other night. She mocked my breathing the entire time and told me–in the middle of my panicked breathing–that I was crying over something small. She also tried to wrestle my phone away from me and I have claw marks on my arm from that. So life at home is preeeetty fucking good, if you ask me. how many hours of sleep would you say you got last night? I think I made it to six. what's the last book you read, was it good? I don’t remember the last book I read, dude. what color are the walls in your bedroom? White. do you have pictures of your friends, and family in your bedroom? Friends, yes. ‘Family’ fuck no.
do you have posters of celebrities on the walls in your bedroom? Yeah several. who is the last person you said "just leave me alone," to? I think it was my mom. Ugh I hate having to call her that can I just call her abusive grumpy woman who lives under the same roof? ever had a really bad sunburn? When I was a kid yeah. The ones on my shoulder hurt theee most. I don’t get sunburns at all anymore. who is the last person to ask you out? Gab but that was like a year ago. what is the last amusement park you went to? Legoland in Malaysia, four years ago. I’m not too big on amusement parks. do you think a lot before you go to sleep at night? Sometimes. It really depends on my mood or how tired I am. if so, what is it you think about? ^ Usually something that happened within that day. do you agree with people when they say "Hate is a strong word?” I’m the person that says that haha. My grandmother taught me that throughout childhood so it’s been ingrained in me and I avoid the word ‘hate’ when it comes to people I personally know and dislike. what kind of camera do you have, do you like it? I have a Nikon D3100, but I’ve basically given it away to my sister. I just use a good ol’ iPhone camera and yes, I do like it. what's the reason behind the last time you cried? Nope. how old were you when you went on your first date? 16. how old were you when you had your first kiss? 16. how old were you when you had your first boyfriend/girlfriend? 16. what's your favorite thing to do during the summer? Stay at hoooooome and do absolutely nothing. do you have any inside jokes with your bestfriend(s) if so, like what? Angela and I burst out laughing whenever we hear about pencils because it takes us back to the time I stabbed her palm with a newly-sharpened pencil in first grade. It started bleeding but I cried innocence and it was really how we got to be best friends in the first place. She brings it back every now and then to make me feel guilty but also since it never fails to give us a good laugh. have you ever been in a HUGE fight with your bestfriend? Not with Angela but I’ve had tons of them with Gabie. what's your relationship status right now? In a relationship. do you like it that way?^ Sure. It’s comforting. have you ever been to a concert, if so, who was the last person(s) you saw? I wasn’t technically in the concert, but we saw Coldplay from the top floor of a parking lot. Yeah everything from my punk rock collection. how many friends do you have on facebook? No clue. 300? 400? a lot of people say facebook chat is really annoying, do you agree? Not to me. I mainly use it for groupworks in school and it makes communicating more convenient, really.

I make it a point to go to several every year. would you say you're fat, skinny, or just in between? Skinny. have you ever been made fun of, because of what you look like? Only when I was a kid because I had really short hair. With that and my name, I always got told that I was a boy. have you ever made fun of others, because of what they look like? Nope. have you ever liked someone who is a total jerk? I haven’t. does it annoy you when people put a question mark with a space like this ?
