what IS the definition of kemono anyway?

I assume ur coming from this post

kemono just means "beast" in japanese n is basically just the east asian word for furry artwork. kemono tends to look more "anime" so its generally considered its own art style in furry. at the same time though, kemono isnt really a strict look. which is why in my post i said i dont like to call chibifurs "kemono" bc kemono isnt strictly "small cute magical animal" and used bara style kemono animals as an example of that. but i do consider chibifurs to be a subtype of kemono since they are prevalent in anime

some art examples (artists in order: mochiriworks and arashi takemoto,

like these r both kemono even tho theyre different. basically the tldr is that kemono is just anime furry art
