#EssiePartner When it comes to my nails 💅🏻 , @essie si definitely my favorite brand. I love to change my nail color almost every single day!!! These are my 9 fall favorite shades and also Essie’s 9 trending colors for fall. On my nails I was in the mood for #takemetothread which is a beautiful dusty lavender and is also my go-to shade. The #GelCouture collection is my favorite! I love the fast drying formula, the wide brush and how pigmented they are. The Top Coat is a must-have! I use it on top of any nail polish because it has such a beautiful gel sheen and makes the nail polish last longer! Which is your favorite @essie nail color for fall? 🤔 #EssieLove #elisauc #chicagoblogger #bossbabe #soloverly #hellobeautiful #blogginggals #nailstagram #nailstyle #essiegelcouture #essiepolish #nailsonfleek #nailitdaily #nailfashion #nailgasm #nailsofig #nailpolishaddict #nails💅 #instanails #bblogger #fblogger https://www.instagram.com/p/BqK_aF4ADZV/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1adg0ei606wzw

Essie Gel Couture Review
**If you stumbled upon this review only the pictures are on a separate post that it wouldn’t let me add to right underneath this one on my page!**
To start off I’ll just jump in because I can’t think of a clever introduction( this definitely doesn’t count). I have 3 coats on of the Lapiz of Luxury plus 1 coat of ciate top coat and 2 coats of Take me to thread on (gel couture) plus the top coat in the line.
Take me to Thread
being a glass half empty kind of person I’ll start off with the negative. First of all this nail polish did not last 14 days unless you count a physical amount of it being on my nails as “lasting”. If you use m definition of lasting (no chips) it lasted less than 24 hours. Now this polish didn’t necessarily chip or have any tip wear like the other polish did, it peeled. This nail polish had one of the worst formulas for peeling I’ve ever seen just something accidentally hitting the edge of the polish would cause a major piece to come up (that’s what happened with my pointer).I don’t know if it’s my nails (Nail polish never lasts very long on my nails) or the actual formula considering I haven’t seen any other reviews of these as of now (Not out of laziness, NO! Only to maintain my extreme integrity and to produce a review that is my completely uninfluenced opinion!).On to the positives! (All that my dark shriveled heart could come up with). This Top Coat! This Top Coat! I LOVE IT! (if you can’t tell from my bolding, repetition, and exclamation marks). It dries to the point that I feel comfortable in going about my daily business normally without any fear of smudging in like 8 minutes and it dries really glossy as you can see in the swatch photo. I’ve even made this my new go-to topcoat lately. (I know I said I was being positive buuut... the new brushes that they made out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread in the marketing is not the brush in the top coat it’s just the normal pleeb brush that all the other nail polishes have. And I’m pretty sure my brush is defective to since it’s cut is uneven and it sheds a hair into my manicure every like 3 nails).  the formulas on these were really nice I have no complaints. I’d say this color could be opaque in 2 coats like it said but depending on application you might need 3.
Lapiz of Luxury (This part of the review won’t be as long because Take me to thread is like the Beyonce of this review and Lapiz of Luxury is like the rest of Destiny’s Child)
So... awkwardly enough this nail polish actually “lasted” longer if we use my definition. It basically took longer to chip. I don’t know if itt had anything to do with the top coat I used or the fact that 3 coats instead of two (I’m really grasping at straws here, can you tell?). The formula on this one wasn’t as good though it was about twice as sheer and just a tad bit thin (which is how I like my nail polish formulas, but I thought I’d mention it because I know that isn’t the case for most).
