The Japanese production celebrated its 40th anniversary today, 11 November 2023, in Nagoya!

The first photo was taken last month (judging by the cast), and the following are all from today's anniversary performance.

In addition, the CATS Musical Instagram page posted photos from the Tokyo cast back in 1983 to celebrate.

So basically I made an RGU playlist that somewhat follows the plot of the show kinda…

For the last little while I’ve been adding to a rgu playlist I made with songs that I feel like have the same vibes as the show, some of them are just songs I already listened to and was like “yeah this feels right” and others I’ve found from edits I’ve seen over the years on instagram and now tiktok. Yesterday I decided to put them in a specific order that I felt followed the plot of the show and the movie pretty well (there are some arcs and storylines left out because I was working with what I already had) bellow I’ll include an explanation of what everything means:
