I had thee most incredible day, fasting today has sent so much blessings my way Alhamdulilah, God is lookin out for me. The Muslim community have been so welcoming and generous to me and the people of Hualien have been so sweet. I have a lot to reflect on after I leave, so many things have happened in just this one day... also finally got to pray taraweeh 😊

“Life was really meant for good friends and great adventures.” #AdventuRose 🏯 So on our 3rd day we visited Bopiliao, National Taiwan University and Chang Kai-shek. I will never forget that I was so exhausted my legs are shaking so I asked Carol if we can just rest a bit. Had my power nap inside CKS Memorial Hall, not giving a damn if it’s noisy! 🤣 We went shopping afterwards at Wufenpu and we love it there so much we don’t wanna leave! That’s it I want to live near the ocean but also want lots of mountains around... we went to go see the sunrise but sadly it was extremely cloudy. I know you’re thinking but why even bother, you need to understand it said there would be 90% chance of rain the day before and all we had was sunshine and a few clouds, we were just being hopeful

I walked twenty minutes to find out the mosque in this city was closed... I didn’t fast today since I’m traveling but was hoping to pray taraweeh, I will fast tomorrow though I dont like making up my fast since I think if I am able I shall fast no excuses. I really miss my family and cooking all my parents favorite foods for them, it was nice facetiming them lastnight. So happy to be done with school this year. Ramadan has always been very tough being away from loved ones for the past idk 5/6 years. If anything being in this situation has taught me is not to get too attached to people or places. But I do hope you guys really do cherish having your family and friends around this Ramadan ❤️. Ramadan Mubarak yall.

You ever be going through so much, and experienced enough downs that you now know something good always comes after it, so you’re just so relaxed about everything and people sit there and think you dont be going through it. I know that all these years alone will only bring me many years of being with those I love, and everytime I am heartbroken I know Allah will give me friends and a partner who will love me just as deeply as I love them. God is good and honestly there aint no reason to stress. I do have anxiety but that’s cuz I am human and I must react to situations, it’s natural.

I really love clear headed me. She gets it.

Many Muslim Americans could get tax exemptions for the donations they give but they don’t cuz sadaqah, zakat, and charitable donations they give is supposed to be kept a secret. I don’t get why billionaires get away with not paying taxes simply because they donate to a foundation they most probably started to begin with.

Your ghost from the past haunting you at last #AdventuRose 👻 Day 3 in #TaiwanDiaries So we went to a Historic Block, not like a house or building or a museum but the entire block! Imagine Vigan and the Crisologo Museum so it's pretty much like that. It's divided in different sections and there's an area where student led exhibits was being held. We met a few students and they invited us to look into their exhibits. One of them was trying to explain the things that are poor in their country. I only remember pharmacy, film and entertainment but there's actually five. What we got from her explanation (we actually didn't understand her so we just came up with our own) was that mental awareness is still an issue and apart from taking medications they also need love and attention. And Film and entertainment maybe for lack of budget. We just took pictures instead but the exhibits was very interactive. We also met a man who's in charge for the classic music section. He showed us the songs so popular back in the old days and what's cool about it is they're using AR (Augmented Reality)! It's fun! Also he gave us a calendar with a picture of his award winning daughter. He's so nice. That's it! Just want to share and definitely a must visit! Also Carol kept saying I look like "multo" here 🤣 (This is how I write my diary. The weirdest restaurant I have ever been in my life 😄 Before coming to #Taiwan, I was search some adventure stuff to do and found out this restaurant. Its a toilet-themed restaurant, too popular among tourists coming to Taiwan where they serve you food in a commode and poop shaped icecream and other desserts 😄😜 I found it quite challenging to try this restaurant since imagining eating here is also very weird. But yeah we made it!
