My favorite bit of Love Stage trivia is that Zaou Taishi wanted Shogo to be a bottom but Shogo is based on Eiki Eiki's brother and she didn't want to write her brother as a bottom, so they compromised by making Rei older than Shogo to appeal to Taishi's love for younger top/older bottom
