I got a question why does Ludwig have that hair on his tail and no other koopa in the koopa family has one??? (Also a Ludwig headcanon please 🥺)

That's a really good question! I'll try to reply without spoiling too much about the actual "original storyline" my AU revolves around (and I'm currently working on) :3c

I start by saying that I'm still working on my Koopalings (e co.) designs, but I'm quite sure Ludwig's tail fluff is here to stay :3

First of all, I'm trying to give each Koopalings + Jr an unique appearance, scales patterns, some custom colors etc. this also includes their tail fluff/spikes/natural armor!

I'm doing this partially to give them a personal and unique design for my HC (so I can happily say "this is my personal take on them!"), but also because it has something to do with their origin and their mother in my AU! Ludwig's tail feathers (I HC Koopa's hair to be modified feathers, since closer to birds and dragons than mammals here) are there for a specific reason, not only because they look good on him xP. So is Morton's strong crocodile-like tail, or Iggy's little spikes and lower green plates. Lemmy has tail fluff too, but he has just three, big and colorful feathers at the end of his tail!

All is connected to their mother's peculiar origins and design, that all of them here, included Junior, share. She's an OC of mine with a very long story, and I may share some info abt her in the future!

Now, for my Ludwig HC: I actually started writing it under this post, then I realized it was HUGE so I'm making a separate post for it!
