10 B’s A BINCH NEEDS
By Alycia D’alfonsi & Tahreem Alvi.
**read this imagining this being written out on beautiful gold leaf stationary adorned with a pink glitter gel pen**
Hey binch! We’re back and better than ever here to tell you the 10 B’s you need in your life. Now first off, these B’s are what we think we need in our own lives so feel free to switch them out, delete certain B’s all depending on what you’re into and what priorities you have!
Here’s the order and meaning behind our B’s
BESTIE (BINCH). This is your bestie, the one guiding you through all of this. When your tinder dates leave you hanging, your dates fall through and you go through the crisis of deciding if you swipe right or not this binch is here to stay and is vital to the rest of the coming B’s.
BANGS. Now if you’ve ever had bangs you know they’re life changing — and if you haven’t you’ll find out that they’re the start of something new. Bangs are what you get during your almost quarter-life crisis. When you want to change up your look but don’t want something too dramatic because you don’t want to risk looking bad. They’ll be hard to manage, but don’t worry that’s all a part of the ~look~. A gal with bangs is a gal you’d want to… ;)
(we mean befriend unless your minds took you elsewhere…)
BOSS. It’s time to stop trying to please everyone else and put yourself first —make yourself a boss ass binch! A Boss is someone who does what they want and doesn’t listen to anyones negative critiques about them. People may give them slack for standing out and doing things for themselves but they don’t ever take it to heart. A boss is sick of waiting around for people to come in clutch, they do things themselves for themselves and step over anyone trying to tear them down.
BUSINESS. Let’s face it — you may be in school, getting a degree, but we all know the majority of us are not going to be in their dream career by the time we all graduate according to the statistics we’ve seen. So why not start your own business! You can work for yourself, not report to anyone but yourself, you can work in your pyjamas and order foodora to your door whenever your heart desires. You don’t have time to be waiting on anyone, build your own business!
BRAND. This B is essential to all the B’s by brand we don’t mean Gucci — Although if we had 2K you know where we’d be spending it ;)
A Brand is how you carry yourself, how people perceive you, it doesn’t have to be who you really are but who people think you are. For example, if your instagram feed is good you’ll probably get more followers. That’s not to say that having instagram followers is all you need, but when it comes to being a Boss, Business AND Brand, those instagram followers come in pretty handy.
BANK. We all are probably in the same situation, as in we probably only have enough money in our bank accounts where we can either spend $25 on a foodora or get a really cute blouse (and you bet we chose the blouse — true story). But this B isn’t about having money in the bank it’s about doing your thing in order to earn the money you deserve. A Boss doesn’t rely on anyone else to help her pay the bills — she pays them herself so you gotta get that bank!!
BACHELOR. Now a bachelor doesn’t have to be your own place, it can be your own room in your parents house — it just has to be your space. Decorate it cute, make it grammable’ (we suggest having a full-size mirror for those #ootd pics), fill it with all your favourite things, plop in your inspiration, your life-size cardboard cut out of harry styles, anything that’ll get your creative juices flowing.
BAE. Now that you’ve made a life for yourself it could be time to share it with someone else. That’s not to say you need a human bae — pet bae’s count too! This B is a little hard to find and we’re still figuring out how to navigate through it ourselves, so keep in mind that this B could be an ongoing project through the rest of the B’s.
BREAK. Phew! You’ve done a lot — go gurl! You deserve a slamming vacay, I know we all can’t afford an annual trip to Cabo but we can settle for something less expensive. Maybe your break classifies as a weeklong staycation in your bed with your laptop fully charged and your netflix account ready to be used (BAE can accompany you on this break but tbh, you might need a break from BAE too — full offence).
BABY. This is waaaaaaaaaaay down the line so don’t get stressed out — but I really want my cat to have kittens. We’re kind of totally obsessed with instagram families right now, which is why this B had to be included. But we’re here for all kinds of babies. Little baby pups? Yes please!!
Now that you have read through all our B’s it’s time to create a list of your own. What are B’s you absolutely need in your life? Take some inspo from ours and let us know your life planz!
Bon Voyage!!

THEY LET US IN THE RAP GAME
You’re an industry artist / I’m an artist in the industry
By Tahreem Alvi.
Hello lovely AMAIZE readers, today I’d like to introduce you all to an artist unlike any other who I’ve recently stumbled across. Meet Sicilian hip-hop artist Russ.
Russ’s first studio album There’s Really A Wolf dropped May 5th 2017 and each track on the album is a hit ranging from slow tracks paired with smooth vocals and instrumentals to funky raps spitting the truth and nothing but the truth. Russ has been in this game for 9 years and has only now broke out into the mainstream media — you don’t have to love him, but you’re gonna have to fuck with him.
His hit Exposed paints his come-up clearly. He’s been independently working on his music for a decade and knows how to put a track together inside and out. He put out 11 albums before his first studio album dropped — Produced, mixed, mastered, engineered and written by Russ. You see he talks about “Industry artists” where artists get signed but keep their record deal under wraps to put up this facade that they’re still “independent” artists. Russ on the other hand had door after door closed on him when he wanted to get a deal and truly became an independent artist. All his dedication to himself payed off though and when he blew up, labels came running. However, when the time came to make a decision, Russ didn’t choose to get signed under any label — He partnered.
I partnered with Columbia
Partnered is the key word
We split the profits 50/50
Better do your research
People may say Russ talks a lot of shit, comes off as arrogant and too cocky, but honestly I think he has a right to. Working your ass off for 10 years, grinding non-stop despite the low results, putting out a single each week, every week for nearly 3 years, all things that aren’t easy to do. See, you’ve got your basic album, there’s the hits that are going to be singles, songs meant to be singles and then you’ve got songs that you like but they just aren’t as good. Singles are hits, and releasing one, week after week is pretty wild.
In his track What They Want he calls himself a DIY Pioneer. Having nobody backing you, having no connections is hard for anyone, so Russ turned to teaching himself everything about putting a track together. The only person behind Russ’s music is Russ. He owns his sound and runs everything himself giving him an edge that nobody else has.
“These people who try to say they are independent—like no, I was really independent. Not independent but you have $2 million behind you, and your daddy’s this person. That’s not independent. If that’s independent, then I was fucking homeless.”
Honestly, the more I read about Russ and the more I watch his interviews the more fascinated I become with him. This isn’t someone who gave up after dropping one mixtape and finding it didn’t get the success he thrived for — this is someone who has ambition and confidence in himself and got himself to where he always knew he would end up. That’s admirable.
I highly recommend listening to Russ’s music and checking out his interviews as well because he is quite mesmerizing and the more you listen to him talk the more entranced you become in his words. You don’t have time to wait around for anyone to do anything for you — be consistent, do you what you want to do and it will pay off the way you want.
Some other tracks you might want to check out by Russ:
Psycho, Pt. 2
Yung God
Ride Slow
Cherry Hill
Act Now
Me You
Okay... So I was trying to narrow down the tracks I really liked off his album but I realized I like them all??? So check out go check out There’s Really A Wolf and vibe hard. You can also check out all his singles on soundcloud!
Peace & Luv,
Tahreem ♡

Movie Monday: 500 Days of Summer
By Tahreem Alvi.
To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die.
Happy Monday friends! Today’s #MovieMonday is going to be on an indie classic I’m sure a lot of you have already seen. This movie is one of my favourites and I have watched it way too many times, but I just can’t seem to get bored of it, I love the music, the actors, the ~aesthetic~ — it’s 500 Days of Summer.
Now I’m not going to bore you with a summary of the entire film, but I will give you a quick little recap of the main idea. 500 Days of Summer follows Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) as he recounts his 500 days with spent Summer (Zooey Deschanel). Summer is pretty perfect, she’s beautiful, funny, and she has great music taste — truly a dream girl, which is why it was so easy for Tom to fall hopelessly and madly in love with her in the first place. Summer, on the other hand was never really looking to be tied down, and eventually realized her relationship with Tom isn’t working out as she hoped and dumps Tom leaving him miserable and confused as to where it all went wrong.
See, 500 Days of Summer isn’t really a love story. Tom falls in love — from his side it’s a total love story, but Summer doesn’t. You begin to think of what went wrong in the relationship or rather who was in the wrong. But in all honestly if you really look at the situation I think they were both in the wrong. Tom, for sort of forcing a relationship and label on Summer when he fully knew that, that is not the way she rolled. And Summer, for agreeing to being in a relationship knowing fully well that this was not something she was interested in. Tom was a hopeless romantic. He had expectations of what his relationship would be like and that’s fine but there comes a time when your expectations are too high and when reality hits you, it may sting a bit more.
Anyway, besides the sort of sad direction the movie takes, it’s full of plenty of laughs and plenty of scenes you’ll want to re-watch on YouTube later. One of my favourite scenes is actually the Expectations vs. Reality one! You can check out the trailer for the film here and you can find the movie on iTunes or maybe in your old DVD collection!
Enjoy!
Peace & Luv,
Tahreem ♡

Movie Monday: Passengers
By Tahreem Alvi.
If you live an ordinary life, all you'll have are ordinary stories.
Happy Movie Monday friends! Today I am going to be sharing the film Passengers with you, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt! Now before we delve into this #MovieMonday let me just say I had no idea what this film was about before watching it. I honestly thought it was about time traveling or something and was very, very confused when I found out that there was no such thing happening in this film. Despite my utter confusion in the beginning, I quickly caught on to what the film was actually about and thoroughly enjoyed watching it even though it may seem quite cliche at times.
*Now warning!! I may have spoiled something in this article. I didn’t think I did but after re-watching the trailer I realized that I revealed something but also didn’t reveal something and it’s quite hard to explain how, sooo if you wish to continue on reading be our guest, but if you find yourself with some information you wish you didn’t know then maybe it’s best to avoid reading on.*
Passengers starts off with Jim (Chris Pratt) who is on a journey amongst many other passengers through space towards a new home. Jim’s pod malfunctions and he awakens 90 years too early. At first Jim tries everything in his power to get his pod to put him back into hibernation but the technology on the ship won’t allow him to do so. Everyday Jim wakes up alone, spends the day alone, and falls asleep alone, having no human interaction except for a human looking robot bartender named Arthur (Michael Sheen) who urges Jim to stop sulking and actually enjoy living life on the ship.
Now the ship being very high-tech has a lot of interesting features, Jim decides to take Arthurs advice and for a bit things don’t seem as bad as they actually are. However, time begins trickling away and the days seem more unbearable then ever, Jim begins finding himself even more alone and decides he’s going to do something about it. What he actually does though…
Jim does something everyone low-key wants him to do yet doesn’t want him to do and to figure out what it is you’re going to have to watch the movie yourself! Or if you’re like me and like to spoil movies for yourself sometimes, you can read the whole plot on wikipedia but I highly recommend going into watching this film assuming it’s about time travel and then later finding out it isn’t. 10/10 would recommend!
Yeah, I know this movie may seem like your basic sci-fi film, the same old thing over and over again and well you’re not totally wrong in thinking that. There are some intriguing aspects to it that make it different from what you’ve already seen but then again it isn’t all that spectacular either. Regardless of that I really did enjoy watching it and if you’re looking for a good film to watch and don’t care about cliches or overdone sci-fi then you’ll really like it!
You can check out the trailer for Passengers here!
Peace & Luv,

May You Enjoy This Freebie
By Tahreem Alvi.
Happy Wednesday AMAIZE readers! Can you believe it’s already May?! 2017 seems like it is flying by — schools out, the weather is getting warmer, life is looking good. I hope you’re having a better day than I am, unfortunately I am sitting sick in bed sneezing and coughing. Luckily sitting in bed scrolling through pinterest and tumblr struck me with some inspiration while I was trying to think of a post idea for today and voila! I chose Banks album as my working soundtrack and a little while later I had made this cute calendar for the month of May (my birth month!) with a little illustration of Lilies of the Valley — the flower for the month of May and also one my favourite flowers!
Save the image here, print it out, and stick it on your wall to add some pizzazz to your space. Enjoy lovelies!

Movie Monday: Beauty and the Beast
By Tahreem Alvi.
“She warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.”
Hello lovely AMAIZE readers! Happy Monday, I hope you all are ready for today’s #MovieMonday featuring the one and only, Beauty and the Beast as I write this post whilst humming songs from the film. A couple weeks ago some of our AMAIZE squad (Jeda, Alycia and I) went to go see this film and it was even better than I could have ever hoped so I’d like to share all it’s beauty with you.
Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite disney movies (Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast are tied as my top favourites), I’ve watched the classic numerous times and Belle is my favourite princess, so I had pretty high hopes for this movie and I didn’t know if my expectations would be met. Low and behold, I’m sitting in the theatre in complete awe of everything I had just witnessed, tears in my eyes — it went far beyond my expectations.
Now I know you all probably know the story of Beauty and the Beast so I wont go explaining that to you again. But let me just say that they some of the scenes in the remake look almost identical to the ones in the classic. The dinner scene was one of my favourites — dancing cutlery, flying dishes, the whole shebang. They really did go all out when it came to this film and all the actors and actresses did a tremendous job bringing this classic to life. The chemistry between everyone was so perfect, the songs were lovely, everything about it was beautiful and I was thrilled with the way the film turned out.
Alycia and I just found out that there’s a singalong version in theatres near us which Alycia wished for moments before our movie started so we’re already planning to watch it again. I don’t think I could get sick of watching it to be quite honest, it was truly an experience.
So friends, if you haven’t gone to see the movie yet I suggest you do because you will not be disappointed! You can check out the trailer for it here (but I’m pretty sure you’ve already watched it numerous times in anticipation for the movie release).
Have a lovely day!
Peace & Luv,
Tahreem ♡

Movie Monday: Practical Magic
By Tahreem Alvi.
Happy Movie Monday friends! I’m super excited to share today’s film with you, one of the committee members John actually recommended it to me! So, Alycia and I watched it over the weekend and we loved it! Today’s #MovieMonday is all about witchy vibes, get ready for Practical Magic!
Practical Magic follows sisters Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole Kidman), witches who have been brought into a family with a curse. A curse that follows Sally as she tries to navigate the waters of having a normal life away from witchcraft as she starts a family of her own. On the other hand, Gillian has been living her life to the fullest, embracing her inner witch. But when the man she loves goes too far, she calls Sally for help and the two end up in a bit of a mixup. Add some dark magic and an old spell resurfacing, the sisters are faced with the task of cleaning up a pretty huge mess.
Practical Magic is all that AND that extra bag of chips. Let your inner witch free as you watch the lovely Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman bring your witchy dreams to life. The aesthetics of the movie are lovely and you'll be wishing for their wardrobe — they're serving some serious looks in this movie!
Practical Magic is one of those feel good movies you grab all your fellow sister witches to watch with. Another full moon will be approaching us soon my friends, and this is a perfect movie for that special night!
Catch the trailer for this film here!
Enjoy friends!
Peace & luv,

Movie Monday: Moonlight
By Tahreem Alvi.
In moonlight black boys look blue.
It is currently 9:23 PM on March 6th, 2017 and Lana and I just got back from watching Moonlight. I’m in a really weird mood today, I’ve had this restlessness inside me all day and after watching Moonlight I feel even weirder and even more restless. It’s like there’s this ache in me and I am unable to shake it after watching the film and I can 100% FEEL it in me but it just won’t go away.
All I can do is continue to sigh — loudly.
It’s really hard to explain how I feel, because I don’t think anyone really felt this way coming out of the film? Maybe I feel things too deeply? I want to cry more — I feel like there’s so many tears left in me — I just can’t? Ahh I feel weird!
I really don’t want to spoil the movie, I went in without really knowing what it was about, who was in it — I just wanted to absorb it all together without spoiling anything for myself. Moonlight stars Mahershala Ali (Juan), Naomie Harris (Paula), Janelle Monáe (Teresa), Trevante Rhodes (Black), Ashton Sanders (Chiron), André Holland (Kevin), Alex R. Hibbert (Little) and all I can say is it was a truly beautiful but heartbreaking film. The actors did such a stunning job and I don’t think there could have been a better choice for any of them, they were perfectly casted. I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys so I’m just going to say that I feel like the main character was incredibly wronged and honestly lost so much of himself.
I’m really at a loss for words for this movie, I’m struggling to put into words what I felt, but gosh do I really feel for the main character. He is a such an incredibly soft character, such a soft soul that could never do anyone any harm and at times all you want to do is wrap him up in a huge hug because it seems like at times that was all he really needed. To be told by someone that things were going to be okay and that he was going to be okay regardless of whatever he was dealing with at the time. There’s so much I want to say about the storyline but it’ll just reveal whatever happens in the film so I’ll just end it here.
I’m still aching honestly, it’s a day filled with a very weird mood, but if you can take anything from this #MovieMonday it’s that you definitely need to watch this film!!! Please, please give it a watch it’s a must. You can check out the trailer for it here, but I recommend you go watch it with as little knowledge about it as possible to really get the best from it.
Have a lovely day friends!
Peace & Luv,

Tune Tuesday: "Saved" by Khalid
By Lana Beiruti & Tahreem Alvi.
What’s this? The first ever collab post for AMAIZE’s Tune Tuesday?! How exciting!! Tahreem and I came together to write about the up-and-coming pop R&B artist, Khalid, whose album, American Teen, we’ve both been vibing and bopping to ever since it came out a few weeks ago! It’s riddled with such great songs that come off very sentimental and encompass all that it feels like to be a teenager; relationship drama, emotional highs and all. It boggles my mind that Khalid is around our age, even younger. (He’s just 19). With mature vocals and well-developed beats, he’s got us all hooked! Some stand-out tracks for us are “Location” (of course), “American Teen” and “8TEEN”. Although a collective all-time favourite is “Saved”.
In “Saved”, Khalid’s nice, smooth vocals make an appearance with the slightest bit of rasp at exactly the right times. His voice paired with catchy beats is the perfect recipe for a timeless bop. “Saved” speaks to all those who have left that special someone while their phone number remains in their contacts. In a video of Khalid breaking down the song, he spoke about how although this girl was no longer in his life, he would open up his phone and there she was right at the top -- her number saved. “Saved” was one of the first songs Khalid recorded when he made the move to El Paso and really found himself in music. The original recording was an acoustic song uploaded to Soundcloud and he kept that acoustic feel when re-recording it for the American Teen album, making the song all the more personal.
You can listen to American Teen on Spotify and Apple Music. Photo Credit/RCA Records

Movie Monday: Meet the Patels
By Tahreem Alvi.
This is the most unnecessary pep speech I have ever gotten.
Happy Monday friends! We hope you enjoyed all the interviews that went live, thank you for meeting our AMAIZE Committee — get ready for a bunch of new posts and a lot more personality!
For today’s #MovieMonday I decided to share this absolutely hilarious documentary with you all titled Meet the Patels.
Meet the Patels follows filmmaker Geeta V. Patel as she grabs her camera and follows her brother Ravi on his journey to finding the perfect wife. His parents believe Ravi has been a single man his entire life and it’s time for him to finally settle down and get married. Ravi on the other hand just broke up with his girlfriend Audrey who he still has feelings for. On a family trip to India his parents beg Ravi to take marriage seriously and let them try their matchmaking skills on him — the traditional indian way. Mr. and Mrs. Patel seem to be the happiest married couple to ever exist, but can they find Ravi what they have? Ravi agrees to their proposal and is plummeted into the world of indian matches along with awkward encounters from uncles, aunts and even strangers. Resumes with pictures, phone calls, speed dating, and flights to different parts of the states. It seems as if the journey will be endless — all the while his lovely sister Geeta is recording whilst also adding some hilarious remarks of her own to the already humorous situation Ravi has caught himself in.
Now whether or not Ravi actually finds true love is up for you to find out! I can guarantee you that you will have plenty of laughs while watching this documentary. Everybody in the documentary is just a delight with so much personality of their own — you will definitely enjoy it! You can check out the trailer for it here and you can check out the movie on Netflix!
Have a happy Monday!

Movie Monday: About Scout
By Tahreem Alvi.
Happy Monday friends! Today I’ll be sharing the lovely film About Scout with you all! This one is a film that my sister really enjoyed and decided to share with me, and because I loved it so much I’m now sharing it with you!
About Scout follows rebellious and free spirited teen Scout (India Ennenga) after social services steps in and notices that her grandmother cannot quite take care of both Scout and her little sister Lulu (Onata Aprile). Scout has always been the one that’s handled everything at home and despite her grandmother not quite being there, things have been going on just fine. However, social services doesn’t think so. Lulu is taken away to live with her father Ray (Time Guinee) and his pregnant girlfriend Georgie, (Nikki Reed) while Scout is left to be taken in by a foster family. Now Scout isn’t one for rules, she’s never been one for rules ― she wiggles her way out of social services plan and finds herself breaking a suicidal boy named Sam (James Frecheville) out of his current situation. They end up stealing a rental car as they embark on a journey to bring her sister back so Scout and Lulu can be reunited again.
This film is filled with lots of rule breaking, tons of laughs and plenty of charm! It easily became a lovable film and I’m sure you all will enjoy it too!
You can find this gem on Netflix!! And you can click here to find the trailer for it!
Enjoy sweet ones!
Peace & Luv,

Welcome to Yesterday // A Farewell to Honest Ed's
By Tahreem Alvi.
There’s no place like this place, anyplace!
Hello lovely AMAIZE readers! Last week the AMAIZE team went to say goodbye to Honest Ed’s at the “Farewell to Honest Ed’s” event. If you live in the GTA then you might have heard about Honest Ed’s — either your parents would shop there when you were a young one or perhaps you’ve visited yourself to get some good deals, maybe you’ve never even been there but you heard the buzz about it closing down in 2016 and you’ve wanted to check out what the hype was all about ever since.
Honest Ed’s was truly a unique place. Six floors of a mixture of random things. You could find cute thigh high socks and mock neck tank tops for $2.99 or you could find some funky printed cushions for your couch, even pots and pans if that was what you needed. Hand painted signs indicated what everything was and how much they cost. To anyone else it may sound like an ordinary store, like there was nothing fancy about it, but if you saw those light up letters leading to the storefront, I’m sure you’d feel like there was something special about it.
Unfortunately, Honest Ed’s was closed down on December 31st, 2016. Toronto said goodbye to its most iconic bargain store and it was a pretty sad time to be quite honest. The farewell event gave people a chance to walk through every inch of Honest Ed’s — the offices, hidden hallways and secret lounges. It was an eerie feeling walking through empty parts of what used to be filled with merchandise. Some of the office desk drawers still had little notecards with information written on them. It was like someone had died and we were rummaging through the remains of their home. The art installations were lovely and each one was a new experience, but you couldn’t shake that weird feeling as you continued your journey through the maze of Honest Ed’s.
So I guess that’s it — we said goodbye to Honest Ed’s and thanked it for all the lovely memories. I hope you enjoy the little photo series above, we tried to capture as much of what was left as we could.
Peace & Luv,

Movie Monday: A Girl Like Her
By Tahreem Alvi.
She walks around her room, the television murmuring about how amazing her high school is as her fingers graze items from her childhood. Her eyes meet her tear stained face in the bathroom mirror. In her hands she clutches pills as she knows what’s done cannot be undone. Her sobs echo against the bathroom walls as she rests her head against the floor.
Today’s #MovieMonday is going to be on the film A Girl Like Her starring Lexi Ainsworth and Hunter King. At first glance this film actually looks like it’s a documentary but you later find out it’s only filmed like a documentary and is actually based upon the very sad and unsettling realities of many people.
A Girl Like Her is a look at the life of Jessica Burns (Lexi Ainsworth) who is harassed and bullied to no end by popular ex-best friend Avery Keller (Hunter King). Now although some of the characters are quite cliche — yes, you’ve got the popular girl bullying her ex-best friend for reasons beyond her control — the film is still able to portray the events in a very real way and you often forget that what you’re watching is just a film. Jessica’s best friend Brian (Jimmy Bennett) decides to film every bit of torment she receives while Jessica wears a pin that captures first hand the type of constant torture that is thrown her way. Jessica’s high school is also given the opportunity to have a documentary made about their school and they decide to focus on the life of popular girl Avery. Slowly, slowly word of Jessica’s suicide attempt spreads around the school and the secret side of Avery is revealed.
I couldn’t ever imagine going through what Jessica went through and even watching the events unfold became way too much. A Girl Like Her tells the story of the bully and the bullied and I think it did a wonderful job of that — it had me bawling my eyes out at the end. To get a peek inside the life of the bully and to actually experience the torment that so many individuals face on a daily basis is such an important thing. You never really know what a person is going through unless you’re in their shoes dealing with it first hand. Having this film showcase things in such a real way really helps give you some insight on the lives of bullied people.
You can catch this film on Netflix! I highly, highly recommend you give it a watch. You can find the trailer for this film here!
Have a wonderful day friends!
Peace & Luv,
Tahreem ♡

Tune Tuesday: “Love” by Lana Del Rey
By Tahreem Alvi.
The world is yours and you can't refuse it
Happy #TuneTuesday lovelies! Sorry if if you were looking forward to Lana’s wonderful writing today, but you’re stuck with me! I hope it helps that I’ve chosen a song by Lana Del Rey so you still get some form of ‘Lana’ in your weekly dose of Tune Tuesday!
Gosh, where do I even begin with this song? I don’t know what I expected when I played the song but I really didn’t expect this. I’m not sure how to explain it really, but Lana Del Rey has brought something completely new to us yet you still feel like it’s the same Lana you started off with. This song is nothing out of the ordinary from Lana, it’s her voice, her type of music —  yet it’s completely extraoridnary. Love is such a beautiful song, such a soft song that transports you into a movie. You’re no longer sitting on the floor of your apartment listening to Lana Del Rey, you’re spinning in circles really feeling the song. You’re young and in love.
Paired with the song is an equally beautiful music video. Lana looks like an absolute angel and the overall vibes from the video are just magical.
Ahh I’ve been listening to the song on repeat and I really can’t get over it. Lana Del Rey has done it again, and I thank her for that.
You can check out the song on Spotify!

By Tahreem Alvi and Alycia Dalfonsi.
Hello everyone! We hope you are all having a lovely Sunday! For today’s #StyleSunday we decided to grab some colourschemes out of photographs for you! We have some funky and bright colourschemes paired with nice neutrals! We hope you enjoy!!
Warm Tones
This photo features the lovely @denae5! She’s a super funky and thrifty instagrammer and her outfits are always on point! I love this warm toned colour combo, the yellow graphic tee paired with a nice brown coat and of course classic blue jeans!
Neutrals!
This is a perfect example of what us Canadians are wearing at the moment. It is absolutely freezing and we just caught news that there’s going to be a snowstorm this week??? Someone send help!! I nabbed this pic from @stylelikeu because I just loved the neutral colours in it, even the dog matches them!!
Stay Stylin’
