On the eve of 46

I was feeling all poetic ... and then Jake farted. I was stricken by how much it smelled like BBQ. Someone fed Jake pulled pork. He's so fat already. Anyway. I've been invited to write for one of the top marketing websites in the world. So, that's awesome. I'm feeling confident, sexy and beautiful lately. Sadly, I find I like people less and less. My patience for other adults is limited. Maybe I missed my calling to be a curmudgeonly old literature professor. Remember when I said the end of my association with my long beloved "boy" was coming to an end. I believe the Taggert Transcontinental Railroad has run out of track. That reference is because he said that I was his Dagny. While I appreciate the idea of being the ultimate female to someone, I'd really prefer to be someone's Reesey. I'm ok. I'm not sad. I choose to enjoy the life I've created for myself and learn, grow and love those who want to engage with me and be a part of that life. So, on the eve (though technically it's morning) of my 46th trip around the sun, I'm content.
